Episode 4 - Carl Allen
Mar 06, 2023 Season 1 Episode 4
John Evans

Many people will know Carl Allen as a coach and trainer for his business, Dealmaker Wealth Society.  He has over 12,000 students, and over 450 Proteges who get to be coached by Carl and his team daily.  But who is he?  How did he get to become a coach, and mentor to so many people, including myself?

This podcast, all 1 hour 20 minutes, will give you an insight into who Carl is, where he began, such as overcoming the tragic loss of his father at such a young age. How he then used that experience for him to get into the world of mergers and acquisitions working for Bank of America on Wall Street, where he was involved in buying over 300 businesses.

Carl was very generous with his time in this podcast episode.  We discussed "mindset", and "overcoming limiting beliefs", and we spend some time going through this topic, because it is so important in dealmaking, and in life.

Carl has his own mentor. Tony Robbins has played an important part in Carl's life, and he reveals how Tony's 6 day programme changed his perspective on life, and gave him the urge to help people.

As a student myself within Dealmaker Wealth Society, I have heard Carl tell many of these stories, and I felt that this audience would also benefit from hearing them, as they each complete a jigsaw puzzle that makes Carl so fascinating to work with.  So strap yourselves in for 100 minutes of pure gold.

The Business Success Stories Podcast show is produced and presented by John Evans.

John Evans was born in Liverpool, England. At 19 he left to live and work in London. In 1989 he moved out of the automotive sector to work in vehicle and asset finance at a growing lease company. That company, Leaseplan, is now one of the largest leasing organisations in the world. Over the next 30 years in corporate life John worked at GE Capital leading a UK sales team, then at HSBC leading an international network of partner banks for leasing and asset finance growth. He left to start and run his own company in 2007 and shut it down in 2012 due to never recovering from the world financial crash. He understands the challenges of a start up business first hand! After moving back into corporate life, this time is the software and SAAS sector, he eventually left once more, this time to buy an established business. In 2020 he purchased a pharmacy business using OPM as a LBO. This business is something he works on, not it. He and his business partner are in the process of acquiring several businesses and have also invested in a $1b roll-up to floatation opportunity in the US. In his spare time he writes songs. He is collaborating with two music composers at present and writing a musical show based on a true crime story of a bank fraud!
