When you think of your typical film buff, who do you picture? Probably not two first-generation Jamaican/Canadian basketball players. This podcast was created to change that. Scene DMs is a journey through the minds of two best friends from Toronto who are huge fans of two things: movies and basketball. This podcast was created to be a bridge between cinematic works of art and the world of sports—from two film lovers who also happen to be professional athletes. Each week on Thursday join co-hosts Duane Notice and MiKyle Mclntosh as they discuss, debate, and review different aspects of movies, film, and cinema-from pure entertainment value to behind-the-scenes work, and everything in between. Along the way, their discussions will evoke powerful feelings of nostalgia, bridge the gap between sports and the art of cinema, and encourage more appreciation for both. Tune in EVERY THURSDAY!!

INTRO - The guys catch up with a very special guest, NBA champion and current overseas basketball star, Jordan Loyd. He discusses his love for the game and what the biggest differences between competing in the NCAA vs the NBA and pros are. The guys then debate the top five best basketball films.

ACT ONE - They speak on their basketball preparation in terms of habits and what drives them to remain passionate towards the game despite having decades of years committed. They talk about the top three best sports movies ever made and debate what must-have elements are crucial for making a basketball movie good.

ACT TWO - They quickly list their favorite basketball documentaries before starting a draft to find the best basketball fictional movie character of all time. From a round of 32 names that are ranked and matched up against each other.

ACT THREE - They continue the fictional basketball player draft.
