When you think of your typical film buff, who do you picture? Probably not two first-generation Jamaican/Canadian basketball players. This podcast was created to change that. Scene DMs is a journey through the minds of two best friends from Toronto who are huge fans of two things: movies and basketball. This podcast was created to be a bridge between cinematic works of art and the world of sports—from two film lovers who also happen to be professional athletes. Each week on Thursday join co-hosts Duane Notice and MiKyle Mclntosh as they discuss, debate, and review different aspects of movies, film, and cinema-from pure entertainment value to behind-the-scenes work, and everything in between. Along the way, their discussions will evoke powerful feelings of nostalgia, bridge the gap between sports and the art of cinema, and encourage more appreciation for both. Tune in EVERY THURSDAY!!

INTRO - SceneDMs is back with a special guest, Tanner Care. He's a force in the world of athletics and is currently the head strength and conditioning coach for both the Vancouver Bandits and the BC Lions professional sports teams. We catch up him about the best movies of the year that he’s seen so far. Tanner gives his thoughts on who's a better athlete between basketball and football players. DuuNo and Merv discuss their introductions to the Superman character.

ACT ONE - They list their Mount Rushmore of DC heroes. Merv and DuuNo review Superman 1-4 movies from the Christopher Reeves era.

ACT TWO - They list their Mount Rushmore of DC Villians. Then the guys review Superman Returns, Man Of Steel, Batman Vs Superman and Justice League films respectively.

ACT THREE - They give their first reactions to the new Superman movie directed by James Gunn. DuuNo, Tanner and Merv rank all of the Superman live-action films before debating who the best actor to play Clarke Kent was.
