Over Opinionated is hosted by an average blue-collar worker that was born and raised in Middle Appalachia. Growing up, Josh Scott was always told he was “Over Opinionated” and thus the Over Opinionated Podcast was born. In this Podcast He will be taking a look at Politics, Religion, world events and news, sports and another topic I might find interesting to talk about on the show. With special guests, Bible Verses, and more you will never know what to expect next.

The Trinity Explained

In this message from Saltville Baptist Church, we take a clear and grounded look at one of the most essential doctrines of the Christian faith: the Trinity. God is not a concept to be reshaped by culture or preference. He is who He has revealed Himself to be. In this sermon, we walk through Scripture to understand how God can be one in essence and three in persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not confusion, not contradiction, divine truth revealed.

This isn’t just theology for the classroom. The Trinity shapes how we worship, how we pray, and how we understand the very nature of God Himself. If you’ve ever wrestled with how to explain the Trinity or defend it biblically, this message aims to give you solid footing.

A quick note on the audio: this recording was taken directly from the church’s sound system, so the quality isn’t studio-level. There is also a moment where you’ll hear a crying baby in the background. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s there. And truth be told, that’s not something to apologize for too heavily because a healthy church needs two things faithful evangelism and the sound of babies crying. That’s how the Kingdom grows.
