The Vine

Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches”. The term “THE VINE” is two-fold. First it’s a representation of Christ as the Word of God made flesh. The main theme of the podcast is GOSPEL in nature. Secondly, “THE VINE” is an internet slang with an underlying theme of communication of the aforementioned truth. We as “branches” must remain in “the Vine” in order to bear the fruits of the Spirit which brings glory to the Father. The podcast may include at times various guests discussing the Holy Bible, their personal relationship with Jesus in their life experience, and how it relates to the issues of the world around us. This is not a podcast geared to tearing people down, but, to build up, edify and encourage! Topical controversial issues will be placed in the mirror of the truth that is conveyed in the Scriptures and discussed in monologue and dialogue style type of communication. A relaxed atmosphere where information and truth collide.

Shawn McNeaney

Shawn resides in London, Ontario Canada with his beloved wife, Jody of 28 years. They have 3 children, men of God, Daniel, Michael & Joel and 1 grandson, Jackson. Shawn was an Ontario Provincial Champion & Golden Gloves Champion in boxing. He received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord & Saviour in 1991 through attempted suicide. He has a pastoral calling where he moves in the gifts of the Spirit, including the prophetic, as the Spirit leads him. Shawn became an ordained minister in October of 2001. He has pastored churches in Quebec & assisted in other ministries in Ontario. His hearts passion is for deep intimacy with God, to know Him as he is known. As a result of a dream he had when he was close to death due to COVID in March of 2020, Shawn obeyed the call to the pulpit via a podcast entitled, "The Vine with Shawn McNeaney". Here, Shawn is able to express his heart for true discipleship in the Body of Christ, to see God's people conform to the image of Christ!
