Hey, welcome to another episode of Everything NYC Podcast. We're joined by two bartenders here in New York City. And today's episode, we're gonna discuss can a bartender find love? Late night, working long, crazy hours, can they find love?
SPEAKER_03And as y'all can see, we have these cards laid out on the table. So if at any point during the conversation, anybody, me, him, you, her, anybody you feel like we're lying, Cap and Chant lying, saying a whole bunch of foolishness, you can designate designate a card to anybody, but each person only could get three.
SPEAKER_04Alright, so let's go move straight into the intros, right? So give a name, your age, uh, well, we know you're both bartenders, but let's just say uh how long have you been doing it? And since the show is about Ken and Bartender Find Love, let's talk about the uh the best dish you'd be able to cook for your man.
SPEAKER_00The best dish. Yeah, you have to cook for your dish.
SPEAKER_04You say you don't cook?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_04Not at all.
SPEAKER_00I'm playing. I do. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I'm pretty sure you got one dish that you're like, ah, if I want to impress him, I want him to stick around, I'm about to, oh, I'm about to whip this out.
SPEAKER_01I don't know, because I don't cook for real. I cook for myself some you know, microwave bullshit.
SPEAKER_04No, but that's for yourself. But what about for your men?
SPEAKER_01I don't cook for no.
SPEAKER_04You cook cereal, nothing like that?
SPEAKER_01How you gonna cook some cereal?
SPEAKER_04No, so nothing. Nothing for your men. I mean a little bit of a channel. So just NA, not applicable.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, some chicken, but not no extra chicken with some Spanish rice.
SPEAKER_04All right, so hold on individually. So individually. So go your name, your name, your your name, your age, how long you've been working, and this uh dish you can cook for your man. What is it?
SPEAKER_00Okay, so my name is Haitian Doll.
SPEAKER_04Haitian Doll.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I'm 23. I've been bartending for a year now, but I've been in the nightlife for two years.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um, I would say the dish would be the stuffed chicken with the spinach rice and the vegetables. Or so some um some salmon.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03All right, cool, cool, cool. And what about you?
SPEAKER_01My name is Briny, Briney Salmeida. You know, Briney, not a lot of people remember my name, but it's okay. I'm 20. I've been in the nightlife for like two, three months type shit. Not, you know, on and off. Um, I can't really cook for real, but I could cook a little rice, you know, a little chicken. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Wow. Okay. Never heard that one before. Yeah. So to start this off, is everybody, I'm pretty sure everybody wants to know what are y'all relationship statuses?
SPEAKER_01I'm single. Single as fuck. Fuck these niggas, fuck these bitches. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_03Like, I mean, I became all kind of powerful right there. Nah, because what's the issue out there? Like, is this nigga can't find nobody? Like, Mr.
SPEAKER_01Nah, it's this new generation. Everybody's just they are trash. Yeah, it's not giving that 90s love. My time. Exactly. I don't got time to waste. Exactly. And I'm young too, so there's no point in really trying to be too serious with nobody type shit, you know?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so right now, I know right now it's just hot girl, summer feet. Exactly. And summer during the winter too.
SPEAKER_00Today is nice out. You feel me?
SPEAKER_04It's starting to get warm and both y'all in pretty much hot girl, summer mole.
SPEAKER_00Basically. Well, not I'm a love of girl, I'm not gonna lie. Oh, you're loving it.
SPEAKER_04I am okay.
SPEAKER_01I am a love gold. You got some hope, you got some hope. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04You got some hope.
SPEAKER_01I'm a love of girl for the right nigga, though.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04What is all right, we'll get into that.
SPEAKER_03We'll we'll we'll get into that. Like, okay, so how how do where do y'all even go? How do men even approach y'all? Because y'all say y'all ball tender, so I'm pretty sure, nonstop, when y'all are at work, this dude, yo, yo, yo, what's up? Yo, yo, what's up? Yo, what's good? Yo, you hungry? You hungry? You want me to get you something? Like, like what's up?
SPEAKER_01For me, I'm just nice. So it's like, if you not even my type or you older, this, that, it's like you gotta be nice with the nightlife type shit. You just gotta approach some, unless they're being disrespectful to you, like touching on me, type of move. Like, I'm not not with that. But if you just on some respectful shit, I'm gonna be nice to you, type shit, you know? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay, what about you?
SPEAKER_00How dudes approach me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like yo, what's up? Yo, you want a sandwich or something? Like, because you know, at the bar, they they they they try to.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I feel like sometimes I look like intimidating. True. So, yeah, just a little, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03You look, you look nice.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm intimidating friendly. But sometimes I feel like dudes be a little scary to like, you feel me, say stuff. Like that.
SPEAKER_03Dudes lack dudes lack confidence nowadays.
SPEAKER_00They be approaching me like it's nothing. I'd be like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_03Like, hold on, you know. I mean, y'all ever y'all ever dated, like, like seriously dated somebody like y'all met? It was never like one person like that came up to you when it was just like different, and you was like, Okay, let me let me see what's good.
SPEAKER_01Never? Everybody's the same. Because if I'm meeting you in the club, it's like that's the first red flag. I'm meeting you in the club and you outside, you know.
SPEAKER_03So somebody you meet like in the nightlife, you can't take them serious at all.
SPEAKER_01Well, I've never taken anybody serious personally, but I feel like it just all depends on your energy type shit, you know? So it's like everybody drunk though. Exactly, exactly. So it's like you never know though.
SPEAKER_03So not true, you need you never no risk, no rewards. What about you never like seriously? I mean like one dude.
SPEAKER_00Like he's in a club or he's working. Like he not either or well, as far as like working like DJ's promoters, I don't like mixed business for pleasure. Yeah, because I love money, you feel me? So like as far as like a nigga a nigga coming to the club, um, I have entertained like one or two.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh. How did that turn out?
SPEAKER_00It was alright. When I'm gonna for me, a couple dates or whatever.
SPEAKER_04Nothing, nothing crazy. Nothing crazy, right? Little beneficial friendship, huh? Yeah, so when was your um last relationship?
SPEAKER_00Like a year ago.
SPEAKER_04A year ago, okay. And uh what about you?
SPEAKER_00Like a year ago. A year ago.
SPEAKER_04So how did you meet this dude and why did it end?
SPEAKER_00Well, I was in college.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you were in college, okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um, why did it end? We just didn't see eye to eye.
SPEAKER_03Meaning, meaning what though?
SPEAKER_00Like, I want more for myself, basically.
SPEAKER_03And he just wanted to sing his complacency.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't do the settlement.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. Well, he didn't have like a job or something like that?
SPEAKER_00No. For real? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Is that what you're like, what you were attracted to?
SPEAKER_00What?
SPEAKER_04Like no job and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_00Oh, baby, no. No, we try to figure out.
SPEAKER_03We try to get to know how you dated him. Yeah, I'll be right back.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so like, you know, like when you in college, you know, like it be hard sometimes. You feel me? But I was working.
SPEAKER_03And he wasn't. And he wasn't.
SPEAKER_00He was the breadwinner, basically. He was on and off working. We're not about to bash him though.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no. No face no kicks, no face no kicks. No, no, no, he's good. He's good. What about what's it with like how it ended? What happened?
SPEAKER_01For me, it was a girl. Oh, oh, look. Yeah, beforehand, I wasn't really in the nightlife, so it was just regular shit broke up with her because, you know, she cheated. It wasn't heavy, it was she didn't do nothing like physically, but once I seen you text another female, I'm not jacking that. It's like, why you you see this. So it's like, what you cheating on me for, you know? So I broke up with her, and that's that, you know. I wasn't I was going out to the clubs, but I wasn't in the nightlife type shit. So it wasn't really like you just outside. Yeah. I was outside and being loyal. So it was like, and you not loyal and I'm outside? She's crazy. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03So, like, how how serious? But how can people take y'all seriously if y'all in the nightlife, like as you just said? Like, because if she's she's probably assuming that you out there doing her thing, so she's gonna do nothing. Both of y'all like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and no. It's like you gotta have trust. Exactly. You gotta have trust in a relationship. If you're in a relationship and you don't trust that person, why are you in a relationship? You know? That's true. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03But if if they if you on Instagram, if you like on posting on your story and you there with Chris Brown and stuff like that, it's kind of hard to like for somebody to be.
SPEAKER_01But it's like he's Chris Brown, right? But I love you. So it's like, it's like, why you you can't be insecure if you're with me. That's one thing. Because I'm a bad bit. Exactly. I'm a bad bitch. So if I'm posting and I'm outside, niggas wanna holla at me. But if niggas wanna holler at me and shit, it's like you can't be insecure about that. Because at the end of the day, I look how I look. I can't help that. But if you trust me, that's it. Once you trust me, there should be no issue. But if I don't trust you, shit is crazy. Because you're not even doing what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_00So it's like I feel like it'd be toxic.
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_00Like dating in a nightlife. Yeah, that's why I can't date. I'm not even gonna lie.
SPEAKER_04I think it comes with a set of challenges. I think the first is one, the hours. Okay, like if like if you if you're talking to a regular office nine a five guy, yeah, and you're working until like three, four. You finish what, four in the morning? Mm-hmm. Four in the morning? I'm usually up by like six. So think about that. You're getting you're getting up, you're getting home at five. You're probably getting into bed at six. You know, you have to shower and all that. So you probably get into bed at by six. That's the time I'm waking up.
SPEAKER_00I think it's like the dudes, like I guess I go for. He wouldn't be like a nine to five type nigga. Like he would have cameras type of nigga. No, that's what I say for Well, like even if he has a job, he has time, like, you know, at night to like bae, I'm filling up.
SPEAKER_04What you just said, I say the best partners for women that work nightlife, whether servers, bartenders, or other people that work in the same exact industry.
SPEAKER_00Do you think so?
SPEAKER_04I think because here's the funny thing you go into a lot of places, right? Let's say you go into a typical bar, bartender, and she's behind the bar, she's looking attractive. I always tell every guy, if you're meeting a bartender, go look at the other dudes in there. Most likely, someone in there has messed with that guy. It's happening. Someone, that's how it works. And the reason why girls that work behind the bar, if there's another guy behind the bar, they're working with that guy for hours. It's just her and him and all of these crazy people. So they are able to connect and and and think about all right, it's us against them, right? They're constantly passing each other. You ever go into a bar, you see the bartender standing there, and like her coworker just like he he walks by and like he slides his hand on her. Like, there's so many things. You could tell, like, a dude has already uh been with that bartender, um, but most of the time it's probably on some toxic stuff. Uh, so you know that doesn't really last. But think about this, they're going through the same issues, they're going through the same, the same complaints that they have, right? They're they're talking about they're talking about everything going on at work. And then after work, it's like three, four in the morning, they're probably like, all right, let's go get another drink. Yeah, you know, let's go get another drink. And things, things happen. So um, so I yeah, I I think the easiest, look, anything is possible, but I always say like the easiest and like what makes the most sense is for someone in the industry to also connect with someone in that industry. Like me, but no, I can't do it.
SPEAKER_01I can't talk to somebody because it's like they're around my females and they gotta do it. You know, it's like I can't be with somebody in the industry.
SPEAKER_04Have you have you have you been with someone in the industry? Never. No, wow, you never. So what about that uh that that girl you was with? Where did you uh where did you meet her?
SPEAKER_01I met her from close friends type shit.
SPEAKER_04Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
SPEAKER_01We've been to each other since I was in high school, and then later on we was friends, and we just you know started liking each other, started fucking with each other, but it wasn't the nightlife type of situation, so we never had to worry about that, you know.
SPEAKER_04Gotcha. And then you think for your the next person is most likely gonna be a a woman or a man?
SPEAKER_01Whatever it is, honestly. I'm with it all, honestly.
SPEAKER_04So you are, you are.
SPEAKER_01Huh?
SPEAKER_03You by?
SPEAKER_01I'm by, but I feel like I want to have a kid. So it's like I want to have a kid with the person I'm with. I know how les lesbians, they be having babies, you know, sperm donors, this and that. But I don't know if I could do that. Like, I want the kid to be like, you know what I mean? Like I want it to be both of hours. But if I'm with a girl and I really love her and she marries me and and she proposes, but that's when I'm older, I don't gotta worry about that. Yeah, you don't gotta worry about that. Yeah, but if she does I might have a kid with her, but I feel like I'm gonna be with a man at the end of the day.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you're pretty mature, so you don't gotta worry about all that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you wanna be wrapped in a man's arms. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01What do you mean?
SPEAKER_04You wanna be wrapped in a man's arms, yeah. Definitely.
SPEAKER_01But if it's a girl too, I don't care, but it'll most likely be a man.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. But you you and a girl, y'all gonna be arguing the whole thing. Well, you a girl, y'all just gonna be arguing.
SPEAKER_01That's the problem with girls. That's because yeah, we're both females. We have like our emotions.
SPEAKER_00Like worse for girls.
SPEAKER_01Because we're both like emotional. And then our periods will be syncing up together. And I'm like, nah, I can't do this. Like, this is too. We will argue, break up, get back together. It's too much. What a nigga, I feel like it's less, less drama. Less arguments type stuff, you know?
SPEAKER_03But but like what type of, you gotta like break it down because over here and watch everything in Watch C podcast, it's people like watching and they probably find y'all attractive. They're gonna be handing them DMs after this episode. So you gotta break down what inside out, like head to toe, what type of man or woman, since you all over the place. What type of do you like? Like, what's the case? Yeah, what do you think? What do you go for?
SPEAKER_04Let's start with let's start with like the physical, right? Do you need a certain height?
SPEAKER_01Gotta be taller than how tall are you? I'm 5'8. So I'm tall. The nigga gotta be six foot and up, or at least like 5'11 and up. Because I can't do nobody my height and taller. I want to be able to at least look up a little bit, you know? Because I'm tall enough, so it's not. And my girl, she was shorter than me. So I already could feel the it doesn't look cute when it's shorter than you.
SPEAKER_00It doesn't look like I feel like when you go out and like say a dude try you, you feel me? And like you got a short boyfriend, like try you, like what we mean. Like a dude try you in front of your, like in front of your boyfriend. Like, yeah, like, you know, and you got a short boyfriend, it's like we think he's pussy, like.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like because he looked pussy.
SPEAKER_03Some short dudes get it in, though. You can't underestimate no sure.
SPEAKER_01But let's say they also got the, you know, what's that?
SPEAKER_03I feel like they got the blicky.
SPEAKER_01If they got that, they don't gotta worry about it. I'm gonna be like terribly tall at that point.
SPEAKER_03Nah, yeah, no, no, no. But like, how what about you? You gave a description? Like head to toe. Like, you gotta be what, six, you need a six feet dude.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I like dudes that's tall.
SPEAKER_04How tall are you?
SPEAKER_00I'm like five five. All right, so you don't need a tall dude. She's like average height. Yeah, for me. A little bit. But when I wear heels, though, I like to wear heels. Why every girl said every girl said, I don't wear heels.
SPEAKER_04I don't wear heels like that. You just wear crocs, though.
SPEAKER_01Bro, I told you what my situation was. I told listen, guys, hold on. I'm talking to the camera. I told him I forgot my shoes, so it was like, damn, you know.
SPEAKER_03You good. It's all good. It's all good. You're not outside right now.
SPEAKER_01Technically, I am outside. I'm not in the crib, so I am outside.
SPEAKER_03You outside and inside at the same time, bro.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I pulled up to the to the clubs with the croc with crocs sometimes. When you know the security guards, they'd be like, you know what?
SPEAKER_03You a woman. Nah, a woman, y'all can get away. Y'all can get away with anything y'all want to do.
SPEAKER_01Sometimes.
SPEAKER_03If you look good, yeah. If you're ugly, then yeah, good luck.
SPEAKER_01Some guys ain't working. I'm not gonna lie. But some guys don't care. Some really don't care. They just gonna be like, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like, what have y'all been since I'm glad you brought that up? Like, what what are some things that y'all got away with using pretty privilege?
SPEAKER_01Everything. Yeah, everything it just works.
SPEAKER_00When you're pretty, you just know.
SPEAKER_03Like, what you got up here? Like, give an example. Even in the clubs, you never get kicked out, nothing. You would do whatever you want. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_00I'm talking about like even in the clubs, like when you work in, $100.
SPEAKER_03What do you mean? What does that mean?
SPEAKER_00Gets a hundred dollars. Just because I'm pretty.
SPEAKER_03He a hundred dollars?
SPEAKER_01If you barely even talk to them, you're pretty. Boom. Tax-free? Yeah. What do you mean?
SPEAKER_04A guy would take a hundred dollars out his wallet and give it to you. Uh huh.
SPEAKER_01Less than five minutes. That's nothing for them. That's like a.
SPEAKER_03No, no, but still, I like even if it's nothing, you're still giving a hundred dollars to somebody for no reason. Like, and you don't you don't gotta talk to them, nothing.
SPEAKER_01No, I feel like my thing is because when they come. When they come to this establishment, they already know the vibes. They know that we're here to work and the only way we're making money is, you know, tips and shit. So it's like they already know the vibes. I feel like they know what our job is. So they just freely just be like here, you know, because they know what we're here for. Right. Are you coming to the club? Like you have to be like what you what you expect. If you come in here and you don't spend nothing, why are you here?
SPEAKER_03But the thing about that, all right, the dude giving you $100 for no reason. Like a man just comes up to you, like you said, gives you $100, yo, you look good. We respect a man like that, though.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03Of course not. Thank you. No. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01If you did it for me, you're gonna do it for anybody.
SPEAKER_03There you go.
SPEAKER_01All right, you you you I'm gonna use you real quick for tonight. If you want my Instagram, you can get it. If I follow you, I follow you.
SPEAKER_04If I don't, fellas, don't take her Instagram. Yeah, like come on now.
SPEAKER_01Bro, they'd be asking for numbers. Stop being a groupie.
SPEAKER_04These dudes need to stop being groupies.
SPEAKER_01Personal number, no.
SPEAKER_04These guys they go out and they collect Instagrams. Instagrams. They collect Instagram. Like, where are you going with that, man? What are you really gonna do with that? So exactly. So so let's finish because you guys were describing your ideal guy, right? So you said at least, I guess six foot. You said for you, you're five five, so maybe at least five ten and up.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Okay. Something like that.
SPEAKER_04Kind of right. Um, so let's let's finish the exterior. Does he need to be in in shape? Can he be like a bigger, like a fat dude? Like what does he need to be built?
SPEAKER_00I'm not gonna lie, y'all. I dated a heavy set guy, and I was scared. Who are you scared? I was scared. Because it's just like I know he's gonna wanna like do that thing.
SPEAKER_03You don't want him on top of it.
SPEAKER_00I just don't got time for it.
SPEAKER_04That's funny. Wait, you don't got time for it? What do you mean you don't got time for it?
SPEAKER_00We're gonna wanna do it like I know he's gonna want to be intimate, and I don't want to do that because all of that, I've never been intimate with like a heavy set guy before, so I don't know how that works. Like, he's gonna be on, he's heavy, like oh, because like he's gonna be on top. Like uh he was like heavy, like like a big like no, he wasn't like too crazy. He wasn't too crazy. I don't talk to heavy set guys, like he wasn't too crazy, like basically when he took his clothes off, you didn't get excited. I mean, I never got there.
SPEAKER_04Oh, kind of relationship was it?
SPEAKER_01So was that really a relationship or was you talking to him? I was talking to him.
SPEAKER_03And where did you meet him?
SPEAKER_04In the club. I'm telling you, everything's in the club. Yeah. So what about you? Um, can he be can he be fat? You're you're okay with fat dudes.
SPEAKER_01I can't. It's not even we could be friends, but once I see that you're a little heavy set, I see you as like a homie, you know. Like, you look like a I feel like I don't know, the bigger set. I hope nobody takes me wrong, but I feel like they're funnier type of people.
SPEAKER_04He said they're funnier.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, I feel like when I mean a fun like a bigger set kind of nigga, they're just funny. You can't take them seriously. Exactly. They're just automatically funny. Or they just have more personality because you know that's just exactly well. I don't know if they have no choice, but they just funnier to me. So I can't, I need a serious guy. Like, I can't I can't talk to a guy that's joking every two seconds, and the bigger guys that I've met, they're just jokesters.
SPEAKER_03Like, they gotta be. Because they whole like they whole life is like me.
SPEAKER_00No, I mean I have like B cups. You can't have like that's too much.
SPEAKER_01Yo, listen, and they're not my type too. Personally, they're not my type. I there's nothing wrong with you being a little heavier, but me personally, so you like a guy that gets in the gym. I don't care if you're in the gym. Just you could be a twig. Even the tall, you know how they say the tall, skinny ones. I don't know. The tall skinny ones, they be, you know, you know, you know. Maybe happening. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03Y'all would know I mean, so y'all y'all would date, would y'all date, because y'all saying, would y'all date like regular dudes? What do y'all consider a regular dude? What would y'all consider? What would y'all what do y'all think is a regular dude? Like what's in your head, what's a regular dude?
SPEAKER_01Working a nine to five.
SPEAKER_03Like name a job. Like, name a job. Amazon?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I could do that. As long as you, as long as you're working, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_03What I like the contrast. No, no, no, keep on, keep on.
SPEAKER_01Now, for me, I could do it because it's like as long as you're working your way up, as long as you're not a bum. Like you have dreams. If you're just, this is just your moment to be, you know, in working with Amazon. But as long as you know you about to start a business or you better, you got something going for you. But if you're just stuck and you just trying to smoke weed and chill with your friends, I'm not with that.
SPEAKER_03That's the thing. But what if he works at Amazon and he's like, yo, this is my passion? When I was a kid, I wanted to just work at Amazon.
SPEAKER_01No, no, passion. How is that your passion? Yo, that's that's passion. Nah, because for me, I feel like I personally feel like I'm gonna be a legend. Like, I feel like I'm gonna be a legend. I'm gonna be doing some big shit. So if the guy that I'm working with, that I'm fucking with is just trying to be an Amazon. It's not like I'm not doing that.
SPEAKER_03Mentality's not the same.
SPEAKER_00He gotta be on some great type of thing. I mean, I feel what she's talking about, like, you know, if you're working towards a goal, that's fine. But as far as like, I like going out on dates, you know, like gift giving, like, that's like my love language a little bit. So it's just like, you feel me? An Amazon worker. Well, he wouldn't gotta do it.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00A nigga that's I'm I'm sorry, y'all. A dude that, you know, scams, traps, or whatever, like, or he could have a nine to five, like he could have a construction job, but have someone on the side.
SPEAKER_03Wait, why did you say wait? Saying you prefer a dude that scams and traps? That's what you're saying? You prefer like that type of dude?
SPEAKER_00A little bit. But what if they have time? What if he they have more time than a nine to five?
SPEAKER_03Time for what, right? Because yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm just about to say that. I'm just about to say that. What if he get locked up? So now what are you going to next?
SPEAKER_00Okay, he could have a regular job, but like Amazon worker, no.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, man. Shout out, shout out to all my uh guys making the average income out here, man. Yeah, shout out to my guys making the average income, man. Because hey, they they get up every morning, they they work. Like, well, average income is what, 50,000? 50,000. Hey, they you know, stay out of trouble, work, and it's it's getting rough out here, right? It's getting rough because all these ladies, they want they want these dudes to level up and want them to be have the job and then the side hustle. Like, how many dudes beside crime?
SPEAKER_01But here's a but here's what if you grown, you should have something going for yourself. Like, how are you like 20 something and you you just making like $15 an hour?
SPEAKER_04But on an average income is $50,000. So let's say I'm a $50,000 dude. Like, I approach you, I'm like, all right, like what you're not gonna, you're not gonna take me seriously.
SPEAKER_01Like I I would. As long as you look good. As long as you like that's number one. As long as you look good, I'm gonna give that a little bit of emotion. It don't even matter if it's a nine to five. As long as you got something going on and you got dreams, I'm good.
SPEAKER_04All right, cool. So why so why was it why before like five minutes ago? You were talking about the Amazon working with it. She said that.
SPEAKER_01I said I'm okay with that. You were saying like you gotta have a sea hustle.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you were saying you gotta shoot.
SPEAKER_01She don't gotta, but he should have dreams or plans to want to have something more. You can't do it.
SPEAKER_04Okay, no, no. What if no, what if I I work, I come home, I put my feet up, I have a beer, and I watch Ozark, I'm on Netflix, I'm watching TV. You're a bummer. I work.
SPEAKER_01You're working all day. Okay, he's not a bum.
SPEAKER_03He's not a bum. Yeah, you queen.
SPEAKER_01But no, because it's like he's just comfortable. That's so that's not that's not good enough. Exactly. I want a nigga who's comfortable. You're about to be older. You this is you got one life to live. Why? Make the most out of it, you know?
SPEAKER_04I mean, I got I mean, I'm okay, but like sometimes that's fine, but sometimes I think like, where's all this level up gonna come from? Yeah, right?
SPEAKER_01There's so many ways.
SPEAKER_04There's so many ways.
SPEAKER_01And with social media, there's 10 times more than invest into businesses. Exactly. Make your own business, even if it's slow at first. Keep a big thing. I get it.
SPEAKER_04I get it.
SPEAKER_01So that's why the average dude should be with the average female. Depends. Because sometimes, you know, an average dude could be with a top-notch female. There you go.
SPEAKER_03Sometimes, but listen, it's a lot going on right now. Yeah, both of y'all pick up a card right now. It's way too much going on. It's way too much verbish. Um way too much verbiage.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I'm in I'm in full support. I'm I'm in full support of all the average brothers out there, man. You know, work like get up, get up every morning, go to work, and leave business. Go first, you go first.
SPEAKER_01What are your thoughts on a 30-year-old dating an 18-year-old?
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's perfect for you.
SPEAKER_01This is yeah, because I'm young. When I was around that age, I fucked with a nigga who's like 28, and I don't mind it because they're more mature. Like, he gave me breakfast in bed. Like, it was just no young nigga would do something like that. He had his own apartment, he had his own business. He it's like he got something going for him. So I was like, that's what I want. I don't want a nigga who doesn't know what he's doing, can't even make me breakfast in bed, can't do nothing for me, you know?
SPEAKER_03Like, what do you mean breakfast in bed? Like, what you're doing.
SPEAKER_01I woke up, he was like, here, here's some eggs with some bacon, some bread, you know. Here, I was like, okay, like ain't nobody done that for me.
SPEAKER_04And then what happened? You dumped him?
SPEAKER_01No, he was in Florida, so I was in New York, so it was like, it was too funny.
SPEAKER_04So if he was to text you right now and say, hey, I'm in New York, what would happen?
SPEAKER_01Shit, I don't know. Let's see. Did he text me?
SPEAKER_03He hasn't texted me, so I don't know. You had your butler. That's what that's what's up, though. What's your card say though?
SPEAKER_00Um, who do you believe cheats more men or women?
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's that's a good one, too.
SPEAKER_00Hands down.
SPEAKER_03Who do you believe, dude? Don't give me a believe.
SPEAKER_00I would say men.
SPEAKER_03Have you cheated?
SPEAKER_00I have.
SPEAKER_03Oh, right. You cheated. I've never.
SPEAKER_00I've never cheated. You never cheated. Okay, but you cheated.
SPEAKER_04But you just said you cheated.
SPEAKER_00I have, but like, not for real.
SPEAKER_04What does that mean? What does that mean? What do you mean not for real? I've never heard that one before. Make believe is like what's a lot of in between. So like you did or you didn't.
SPEAKER_00So like I was in a relationship, but we broke up. And then I did what I did. So you didn't cheat.
SPEAKER_04So you didn't cheat. I mean, you guys were broken up.
SPEAKER_01The only time you could cheat is if you're in a relationship. If you're not in a relationship and y'all talking, you're not cheating. Even though y'all got back together like the oh no, that's fine. I mean, I don't know. It depends on if y'all was talking while you was cheating. Like if y'all was texting, calling each other, linking up. So then you didn't cheat.
SPEAKER_04So there was no communication. No communication.
SPEAKER_00I mean, like he was trying to call me, but like I wasn't responding to him. So period, you're talking about.
SPEAKER_04I don't think that's cheating. I don't think that's cheating. Because you would you yeah, you was definitely curving all of his all of his communication. Uh there wasn't there wasn't anything there.
SPEAKER_01Nothing.
SPEAKER_04And then I got back together, and then what you told him, like, hey, I was talking to this dude. Oh, you told him. But what you and what did he say?
SPEAKER_00He was upset.
SPEAKER_04Of course. He was upset. But he did his dirt too.
SPEAKER_00So it is.
SPEAKER_04So whatever my question is, whatever happened to the side dude.
SPEAKER_00What do you mean?
SPEAKER_04The side dude, the one you cheated on.
SPEAKER_00A whore. I mean like a thought. A whore.
SPEAKER_04But but you like that.
SPEAKER_00Huh? Who likes that?
SPEAKER_03No, you do it. Indirectly. No, no, no, no. Indirectly, because if you would never you would never mess with a man that can't get other girls, though. Indirectly, you do like it. You like that. You're not gonna mess with a man that don't know how to get girls.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna mess with a man that you see women like and you'll be like, I'm not gonna lie, I'm glad you brought that up because you're right. If I see a guy and he and the females he follows, they don't follow him back. I can't do it.
SPEAKER_00I'm not gonna lie, I used to like ugly dudes. I can't do that.
SPEAKER_04What would that mean?
SPEAKER_00I used to like ugly dudes.
SPEAKER_04You used to like ugly dudes. How long was this? How long ago was this used to like?
SPEAKER_01Wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_04Are we talking three months, six months?
SPEAKER_01Before you answer that, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm just gonna say that because I feel like sometimes I see somebody who's not my personal type. They could be in the standards ugly, but I don't feel like anybody's actually ugly. I feel like when you see somebody who's not your type, okay, that's not your type, but somebody else could fall in love with them. And they feel like they're beautiful, you know? So even if it's not my type, they're not really ugly. They're just not my type.
SPEAKER_03You know?
SPEAKER_01I'm being for real, because I feel bad sometimes because when I was younger in high school, I would like be friends with the people who wasn't, you know, popular and stuff like that. And I would feel bad for them because it's like people see them as a minority or like a they're not cool, or I don't want to fuck with them. But it's like, what's wrong with that? Because God couldn't bless them with what I got. It's not my fault. They still got a cool personality, you know?
SPEAKER_04Like, there's nothing wrong with that. Thank God for people like you doing charity work. What you mean by charity work? We got Mother Teresa over here, so you know? She's she's spending she's spending time with the less fortunate. You know, all ugly, all the ladies. Hey, hey, all the losers come over here. I got you.
SPEAKER_01But what they're not losers, they're not losers to me. To me, they're just not your personal preference. Misunderstood.
SPEAKER_04And let's just say they weren't the personal preference of the majority. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Of the majority, but what about the minority? Who says the minority don't matter? You know? Who says they don't matter? Who says what they feel don't matter? Just because I feel like this person is attractive, doesn't mean the other person doesn't think they're attractive or their soul isn't attractive, you know?
SPEAKER_03It depends though. Because if they have nothing of value, then what they don't matter.
SPEAKER_01If they have nothing to bring to the table, like if they're funny looking, in my opinion, or if they're broke, okay, move. I don't I don't want to fuck with you. But if you funny looking and you got something going for you, maybe I could put you on to my friend, because you know, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I don't like it. You don't live. So she said, hold on, hold on a second. So she she said, no one's ugly, but then she just talked about funny looking people.
SPEAKER_01So To me personally, if you're funny looking to me, but who says to her she doesn't think they're cute, you know?
SPEAKER_04So how many funny looking people have you introduced to your friends?
SPEAKER_01Nobody. Exactly. I got one or two friends, so it's like I already know their type. They could be funny looking to me, but to them, you know, they might like him. Like my friend's new nigga, shh, he's not my type.
SPEAKER_04But is he funny looking?
SPEAKER_01To me, he's funny.
SPEAKER_04So how many he's funny looking to you?
SPEAKER_01To me, but that's her type, so go ahead, do what you gotta do. Cause I'm not gonna judge you. You like him, go ahead. But just because I don't like him, there should be no stigma around it, you know. Just because that's not my type doesn't mean he's uglier, you know. Everybody got their own type to me personally. Cause sometimes you can see like a a uh a funny looking guy or like a uh big girl, and you see them together and you'd be like, oh, they look good together. But what if you see a a funny looking guy with a badass bitch? You like, hold on.
SPEAKER_04That happens all the time. Yeah, that happens all the time. Yeah, yeah. That's usually because she brings resources. Exactly. He has something I can do. He got resources.
SPEAKER_01Either personality, money, something, but that's your type. Go ahead, do what you gotta do. But me personally, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04But it's not really her type. It's because of the resources. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But that's part of her type. You could be, maybe she doesn't look at the physical, but she's looking at the the soul or the money or the soul.
SPEAKER_03You have the money. It ain't that deep.
SPEAKER_04You have to make it that deep.
SPEAKER_03No, don't try to get spiritual ones.
SPEAKER_00Nah, I've been spiritual. You see their like their features. Exactly. Like if they can dress.
SPEAKER_01That's the first thing you see. But then when you get to know them.
SPEAKER_03What's what's the best, what's the best relationship y'all ever been in? Like, how did they look like what was it about them now that made them make the relationship like amazing?
SPEAKER_01Do you want to? I'm gonna let you go first because I only been in one relationship. Like the best one.
SPEAKER_03The top one out of the ones you've been in. Like, what was it about it?
SPEAKER_00I only been in one relationship.
SPEAKER_03So what what what made it amazing?
SPEAKER_00It was nothing amazing about it.
SPEAKER_03What what made you want to talk to him?
SPEAKER_00Okay, okay, when I first started talking to him, I liked how he looked rough. You feel me? Like, wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_04You look manly. Wait, when you say rough, you mean like dusty?
SPEAKER_00No, like I liked how he looked hard. Like nobody could fuck with him, you feel me? And he could dress, like he could dress or whatever. Yeah, okay. Yeah, you like that.
SPEAKER_04You like you like skim.
SPEAKER_00He could dress or whatever. And he could dress, you hear me. And he smelled good. And he smelled good.
SPEAKER_03I'm listening. She's talking in the microphone. I hear her. And what about you? Man or woman?
SPEAKER_01Whatever it is.
SPEAKER_03Like, what was it about them that made you say, Oh, yo, I kinda like it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so I've only been in one relationship. With her, it was, you know, I don't well, you don't know. But with females, we're more emotional. So it was like, you know, with females, it's quick. You wanna you like her, y'all ready to get married, y'all ready to move in together. Like, it's quick with females. We wasn't on that type of timing, but we was just really quick. So she asked me out like three months into us, like flirting around and shit, but we've been known each other. So it was like I don't know, it was just, it was just I can't, I can't answer that question with y'all with this certain relationship because I just knew her for a minute and we just started dating.
SPEAKER_04So here's one thing. If I was to call your ex and ask for some advice right before I take you out, or before I take you out, I call your ex, be like, hey, what can you tell me about her? Tell me what I need to know.
SPEAKER_02Sure.
SPEAKER_04What would your ex say about you? What type of advice would I receive? What what what would what would he say?
SPEAKER_00Don't do it.
SPEAKER_04You would say don't do it. Why would he say don't do it?
SPEAKER_00I'm playing.
SPEAKER_04Um, I don't think you're playing. I don't think you don't think you're playing. Why would he say stay away?
SPEAKER_00Um, the microphone wanna stay forever.
SPEAKER_04Once you get a taste, you're gonna want to stay.
SPEAKER_00That was a go-like.
SPEAKER_03That was that's like that's like an analogy. That's like an analogy.
SPEAKER_04He's not even talking for real. But he didn't stay forever.
SPEAKER_00But he's still around. He's still around, he's still hitting you up. Oh no. Change the topic.
SPEAKER_01I mean, no face, no case, you know.
SPEAKER_04No face no case, exactly. So is he still in the DMs? Is he still he's still texting? Like, you know, what's up? I wanna I wanna link up with you. Because the thing is, he is exactly your type. He's a scammer, you know, that's he's rough, that's exactly what you like. So, like, what's the problem? Because what you described was he didn't want the most out of life, but what do you expect from the rough scammer? Yeah. Everything is a good idea. I mean, I'm sorry, but like the rough scammer is not applying to law school anytime.
SPEAKER_00I'm an entrepreneur, so like I would like for you to be on the same type of level.
SPEAKER_03You gotta make yourself that entrepreneur?
SPEAKER_01I'm on the the road to being an entrepreneur. I'm still working my 95, but I'm trying to start my own business.
SPEAKER_04But doesn't isn't a scammer dude an entrepreneur?
SPEAKER_01Nah, you're fucking he worked for himself, yeah. But he works all for other people.
SPEAKER_04He doesn't care. He takes money from other people, but still, like I mean, his technically, yeah. Yeah, I mean, does his profession come with a 401k?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_04You get it, right? Tax freedom. Does he have to report to someone?
SPEAKER_01No, himself. Maybe his homeboy.
SPEAKER_04Seems like an entrepreneur to me, right? I mean, he had to take initiative to go start his business. I mean, it is a business, it brings in income. I mean, he does have expenses like gas. Um, I'm pretty sure expenses could be uh maybe some.
SPEAKER_01For real. I'm putting my chest right now. That shit got me hot.
SPEAKER_04You know, he has income, he has expenses. That's that's a business, right? So my thing, I'm I'm trying to figure out what's the issue here.
SPEAKER_00What do you mean what's the issue?
SPEAKER_04Because you you like you like them rough. You like him.
SPEAKER_00I don't like them rough. I used to like them ugly. What do you mean by rough? Like, okay, like no, like he's from like Brooklyn. From Brownsville? Yeah, we got a big room. No, not Brownsville at all. He's from like Brooklyn.
SPEAKER_04Where? Flatbush? East New York? Yeah. Flatbush. We got a flatbush. So he's Caribbean. Okay. We gotta be Caribbean. Okay. Okay, so we got a Flatbush dude here. Okay. So, wow.
SPEAKER_03Yo, let me let me ask y'all something. Because y'all look y'all heavy in.
SPEAKER_01Well, wait, sorry, before you ask that, we took two cards, y'all might as well.
SPEAKER_03Oh, damn.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, might as well, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Keep your question in mind.
SPEAKER_04Name a deal breaker for you in a relationship. Uh huge deal breaker for me is a lack of empathy.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_04Huge deal breaker for me. Lack of empathy. If you can't see it from another person's perspective, we're uh we're done.
SPEAKER_01So basically, like a lack of communication, basically.
SPEAKER_04Like if they can't understand you, uh yeah, it's just being able to see it from the other perspective. I think if that's if that's lacking, then we're gonna have a huge, huge issue, right? Because that's something that's I've been able to uh practice over the years. And now I'm like, all right, now I can fully do it. When I was a younger dude, you know, running around, and no, that wasn't a priority for me. Um, you know, I was young and immature, 20s. Come on.
SPEAKER_01You're young, you know.
SPEAKER_04I mean right now. Like, what do you expect from me? Um, but now at my age, that that needs to be uh that needs to be a priority.
SPEAKER_03And my card says, name something non-sexual that turns you on. Oh shit. I mean, that's pretty simple for me. Oh, son that turns me on non-sexual. A woman that knows how to communicate, respectful, and who knows how to control, like emotional, like she's disciplined emotionally, like say she has something that she dislikes. She's not just trying to argue and yell and scream all the time. She's still gonna communicate. Stuff like that. That really turned me off for some.
SPEAKER_01So for both of y'all is basically communication.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we get very far. Very far. If you want to communicate, we'll get very far.
SPEAKER_04And if you want to if you want to go a little bit more, I'll say another deal breaker is how you present yourself to the world, right? So if I'm gonna take someone seriously, I look at your your social media, and it's nothing but you know your body and all that. So you're not fucking with that. Yeah, that's not someone I want to uh to build with one.
SPEAKER_01So you look at personas, basically. And that's fine.
SPEAKER_04You gotta rebrand. I mean, it's not really your persona, it's your brand and what you what you're showing to the world, right? I mean, that that's not conducive to what I, the person I want to.
SPEAKER_01Wait, but I got a question. So what if what if like their past persona was like that nightlife type shit, but they're changing into a new person.
SPEAKER_04Would you still when you say past persona includes nightlife, is that just their profession? Then okay.
SPEAKER_01Their current profession. Because for me, I'm this is my current thing. This is to get money. Yeah, yeah. So I can work on something. So would you fuck with somebody who's just trying to work and they're trying to build into something better, or you're just like, nah, I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_04I'm fine with that. That's cool. That's that's fine. Um, I think for me at this point, would I want to date someone long term that that's in that nightlife? I wouldn't say um I didn't say I would 100% close, clo be closed off to that. I'd say it would be very difficult for the other.
SPEAKER_01You're just more cautious about it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, just much more cautious about it. And from what I see, uh a lot of the women that work in that type of lifestyle are not really thinking about the long-term building, mindset.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um they're thinking about, they're thinking about getting through the shift. Right? Very short-term.
SPEAKER_02Oh, beyond getting through the shift.
SPEAKER_04Very, very short-term thinking. And I'm thinking about like if I'm gonna be bringing someone in, like, all right, what's our what's our goal for the next year? What's our goal for the next two years? Um, if that's if that's someone I want to be thinking about long term. Uh, recreational use, I mean whatever. But for someone long term that I want to invest in, then you know, someone that has the that's in that actually works for nightlife, it's gonna be difficult. It's gonna be difficult. And like I said, like I'm getting up at 6 a.m. All right, I have my career, I have this podcast with him, you know. So it's just like if I'm getting up at 6 and someone's just going to bed at 6, that's tough. That's that's gonna be an issue.
SPEAKER_03And then if we're especially like us, like you like say I wake up early, we work out, we're doing all this other stuff. Like, if I'm going to bed Saturday night, Friday night, let's say at like 10 o'clock, and I text you, yo, yo, baby, what you doing? Yo, I'm at the club right now. I'm like, yo, what's up? Like, I can't, I'm I'm nervous, I'm scared now. Like, well, like how you at the club? Now, now what's gonna happen to you? And I'm in the crib, I'm laying down. Like, I don't know, I'm gonna be uncomfortable.
SPEAKER_04Any anything could happen at the club, and personally, I'm not a fan of at this point, I'm not a fan of clubs.
SPEAKER_01Really? Wait, how old are you?
SPEAKER_04I'm 32. I turned 33, yeah, 32. Oh, yeah, oldest. I get that. So I'm not I'm not you've been there, man. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the case.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I've been through the whole phase. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not sure. Like a special occasion type of game.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, special occasions. Like if someone's birthday is something in the year, you'll find me in a club. Aside from that, yeah, and it has to be a section. Um or else people are gonna be stepping on my shoes, and I'm gonna get upset. And then y'all gonna think.
SPEAKER_00Nah. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But like they be they be looking a little younger, so it's like fuck it.
SPEAKER_04Some of them I don't care, I don't care how young they look. If like for me, what I'm looking for right now, that wouldn't be uh that wouldn't be conducive to like a long-term.
SPEAKER_01So it's all about your type, basically. Because that's not your type. The nightlife kind of girl is not your type.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I I think it's it's something that's gonna be difficult, right? Do would I would would I completely shut the door? No. Because it might be like her personality is a hundred. Her personality might just that'd be just the amazing.
SPEAKER_01You just gotta be like, you know what, it's okay. But I got you at the moment.
SPEAKER_04Is it gonna come with a seller set of challenges? Yes, of course, of course. You know, it definitely, it definitely is.
SPEAKER_03And um, you walk around, you you coming out of work. There's a lot of drunk women coming out of the club walk around barefoot throwing up. Like, that's not my type of girl, to be honest. Like, yeah, yeah, I you gotta change your life around.
SPEAKER_00I don't know how females could get too like intoxicated when they go out. That's too much. Yeah, barefoot. I've seen them in a translation.
SPEAKER_04Like what I was saying, my if you look from an older dude, if you want advice, I I know, you ladies, you're gonna end up doing whatever you want to do. But if you want my advice, I would say, you know, work, get your money, and then you know, you eventually look for your exit. Yeah, that's that's the plan, yeah. Like what's the work? You get your money, you look for your exit, and whatever you do, do not be posting no crazy pictures all over social media.
SPEAKER_01But sometimes you got to to get the customers out, you know. Sometimes you got to.
SPEAKER_03But you said, but you just said though, like, just for you being pretty, you get a hundred dollars. So do you really have to do that? Yeah, you go, you know.
SPEAKER_00Depends on who the person is or the client's. I literally was talking to a guy at the club. He was like, You're not doing nothing. I was like, What you mean? And I talked to him, he was like, he said something. I was like, Oh, I brought up my business, $100. Left. There you go.
SPEAKER_04So you don't got it. You don't have to turn it.
SPEAKER_00That's literally.
SPEAKER_04You didn't have to show your body. You didn't have to show you how to show you.
SPEAKER_00It was literally my mouthpiece. That's it.
SPEAKER_04Well, there you go. You need OnlyFans know that. Yeah. What I usually like about what I usually like about bartenders is that they're very charismatic. They know how to like talk. You ever notice that they really don't know what you're talking about?
SPEAKER_01That word is the main word they be telling me like in the interviews, as long as you're charismatic, you got the job. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04They know how to talk. And they're actually very interesting to have a conversation with. But you know, I think you have to also look at like, all right, if you're online, you're you're posting patients which, like, yeah, your body on it. And you gotta think about it, is the type of dude that you would want to be with, would that person how would that person feel about this?
SPEAKER_00He would've like it. I'm not gonna get it.
SPEAKER_04There you go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y'all get it. So it's like we don't have to do too much about it. And like I said, I think for right now, look, I think right now you you girls are young, right? So it's like, oh, hot girl summer. But I gotta tell you, like, the younger you start thinking about securing that dude, the easier it is. Because there's so many women in their 30s that are out right now, they're going to clubs, bars, whatever. Look at that. They're looking for that dude. They're looking for the six-figure dude. This dude that's over six feet tall. Think about that. They're looking for us. The host that everything I watched. Think about that.
SPEAKER_03That's what they looking for.
SPEAKER_0415% of dudes are over 16, are over six feet tall. Only a small number of guys make over $100,000. So you gotta think about, especially when you get into your point, 30s, 40s, finding that individual is tougher to do. And then you also want to be physically attracted to that person. Right? So that becomes even that's a whole nother layer of difficulty. And fertile. Yeah, exactly. So, and then you gotta make sure like that person's not a complete scumbag. Right? So it becomes, it becomes more difficult. So I'd say, yeah, if you want to do Hot Girl Summer, you know, go ahead, but you always gotta, I'd say, keep your eye open because at this age, you know, you get invited to parties. Not yet. You get a free drink. From rappers. You know? Yeah. Yeah, right now it's lit because you're super young, especially, especially you. You're super.
SPEAKER_01I'm the youngest one here. There you go.
SPEAKER_04And it's and it's super I'm a baby. And it's super lit. But then you go talk to. Do you have um any women in uh in your bar? No, in your club, right? There are any women that are in their 30s. I want you to go to those women and ask them how's dating. Go to them. You're gonna get depressed immediately.
SPEAKER_03Immediately gonna be depressed.
SPEAKER_00I mean, well, I know there's this one girl, she's a bartender, and her boyfriend like comes, I don't know if it's her boyfriend or her husband, but like they're together and like they come to the club together or whatever. Like she works and he comes or whatever. Some people have like an open relationship too.
SPEAKER_01I can't do it.
SPEAKER_03Are you down for open relationships?
SPEAKER_01Hell no.
SPEAKER_03No, no. So if your man comes and be like, yo, baby, let's bring another, let's bring another woman together.
SPEAKER_01No, most I do in a way is if we're we've been together for a minute, and then I like since I like girls, I'm like, yo, I'm at this girl. Can we, you know, do something wrong?
SPEAKER_04So you'd be down to bring a girl into the bedroom just for like one night.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, to make it fun only if I've been with this person for a minute.
SPEAKER_04Okay, cool.
SPEAKER_01And I personally haven't done it yet, so it's only a thought basically.
SPEAKER_04So it's birthday. So you know, so you wouldn't be down to like, I just want to bring, you know, just a girlfriend.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I'm not gonna lie, I've thought about it, but no, because all the fun is here. Exactly. All the fun is here, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Exactly, but I haven't done it yet. But I'm saying, like, if I got bored in the relationship, but if I'm bored too, that means why am I even in the relationship? Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_04But let's say you're not bored and you guys go out, he's like, oh, hey, you know, maybe we can- If he says something, I'm not doing it.
SPEAKER_01If he's the one, like let's I'm breaking up with him. Because what do you mean we gotta bring somebody into this? I'm not enough for you. It's for one night. No, no, if I said it, okay. But if you said it, deuces like that's it.
SPEAKER_00I'm still young, so maybe my mind, you know, may change, but as of right now, I'm not for the bringing in nothing. Yeah, fun is here, exactly.
SPEAKER_01The fun is here unless y'all in a longer relationship and y'all get bored. But if y'all get bored, why are y'all get together? Right.
SPEAKER_03I mean, so yo, so being in that nightlife, like what like let's keep it real. Let's keep it 100. What did what them DMs looking like? Yeah, what DMs looking like?
SPEAKER_00Just repeat.
unknownSame thing.
SPEAKER_00It's a broken record.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you could like read read a few DMs.
SPEAKER_00Like, how's it? This is what we can. Like, how you want to make it? Why y'all want to go out?
SPEAKER_03It's a free meal. It's a free meal. Let me see. Let me see that one. Like Applebee's Applebee's is pretty good. They want to take out Applebee's, like, what's up? Chipotle is like. Applebee's outback steak house.
SPEAKER_01Applebee's that that two for 20.
SPEAKER_03Like, yo, that fool good, though.
SPEAKER_01Look at this.
SPEAKER_03Like, read it, read it, read it. Like somebody I'll read it, I'll read it. Read it out loud. Read, read a DM out loud.
SPEAKER_00Um so we've got that.
SPEAKER_03No, you strong.
SPEAKER_04You pretty much.
SPEAKER_00I mean, like, I've had had a couple, like, you feel me.
SPEAKER_04Give me one. I'll read it. I'll read it. I'll read this one. All right. No. Don't read this one.
SPEAKER_00Just don't read nothing.
SPEAKER_03You gotta give them something. Let me see. I'll I'll read one past the phone. Because y'all got y'all got a lot of followers. I've been reading.
SPEAKER_00I'm not trying to get caught up. I won't get caught up because I don't know.
SPEAKER_03So you read one. Wait, hold on. You're not just read it.
SPEAKER_01Um, well, sometimes I have like, okay, where should I show it to this camera?
SPEAKER_03No, no, read, like, read it.
SPEAKER_01No, but like, I'm gonna show them because sometimes there's people like this. Is this this camera? Either one, yeah. You just scroll and there's people like this that'll just you'll never say. Okay, I'm gonna show you the specific one because it's people who you'll never respond to.
SPEAKER_03Eggplant pictures is like.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh. And they'll just send random shit.
SPEAKER_04Oh, wow. You see, give them one. All right. Give them one. You see, this is what's going on these days. A lot of these dudes are just so strange, man. Very communicate. Did you you end up blocking this dude?
SPEAKER_01Nah, I leave it in there because I'm like, Because he doesn't even have a picture.
SPEAKER_04You make money off the toes and shit. Wait, does he have a picture? I can't do it. Oh, yeah, yeah. He doesn't even have a picture. So he says, That's a bot. Um, you you so fun, you so beautiful, you so beautiful.
SPEAKER_01Regular.
SPEAKER_04May I be a man? You know, mad cute.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_04You so sexy, babe.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04I value you.
SPEAKER_00Period.
SPEAKER_04Why why we not together? Um you joking. How are you joking? Yo, yo, babe.
SPEAKER_00Be this baby serious.
SPEAKER_04Yo, babe, come on. Uh, I'd be the best boyfriend. Babe, I'm not saying that just. Can I be your mister? Babe, you so sexy. Uh, I've been chasing you, uh, baby girl. Bombacon. This is real life. I'm Jamaican.
SPEAKER_00I'm not a Jamaican, but be the ones that like, I've been trying to talk to you. I've been watching you for a minute now.
SPEAKER_04It's definitely not fair how you're not my wife yet. Like, what?
SPEAKER_02I got a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a question.
SPEAKER_04Let me get a hug. I got that's weird.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean I'm in love over here. Yo, wait, I got a question. So, this is social media, we on social media the most, right? And y'all in the nightlife, how would y'all want a man to approach y'all, like the ideal way? Just how would the ideal way how would you want a man to approach y'all?
SPEAKER_01Don't approach me. If I approach you, I want you. If I had to approach you, I give a signal and you look like you're not approaching no females, or like you look like you just here to have fun, like you're not here for the females, I want you.
SPEAKER_03But in what setting though?
SPEAKER_01Anywhere.
SPEAKER_03You could be in Whole Fools or something, like you just.
SPEAKER_01If you my type and I see you and you look a little bit.
SPEAKER_03What you gonna what you gonna say? What you gonna go up to them and say?
SPEAKER_01I might go up to them and be like, Personally, I don't go up to them. I feel like I went up to like one or two. Yeah, what you say barely. But if I go up to them, I'll be like, you look good. You got a girl first, because if you had a girl, I don't want it. If you had a girl, alright, I'm gonna stay on my own line, on my own lane. But if like say I'm not coming up to them, I'm gonna give you eye contact. And if you share that eye contact with me, they're gonna, they're gonna come up to me. They're gonna come up to me, and I know they are. Like, it's just it's a hundred percent. They're always gonna come up to me. Just share that eye contact with them and look at them, you know, like you know?
SPEAKER_04When was the last time you approached a dude? Or gave eye contact?
SPEAKER_01Well, if you're in the club, I might approach if I'm in the club, I might approach them just from the from the I see him looking at me. Even if we don't have eye contact, I see them looking at me. So I'll be like, yo, you good? Like, you want to drink? Like, what you gotta do? Like, you know, to be friendly, to see if you know they could give me that little tip, you know, like but not to personally actually fuck with them. Cause if you if you trying to approach me first, I don't know, like maybe I could fuck with you, maybe you could get my Instagram if you look good. Yeah, it just depends on the vibe, basically.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I remember the last time we went to a club, she came up to us with like wild shots, like yo, yo, yo, I want shots. I'm like, yeah, we just came here. I have no problem. So I now that you say that, I know I know exactly what you said. Yeah. So what about you? How you want to be in the approach? Like the ideal way.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_03The man of your dream. Now you know what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00I thought what you like said, like it's the vibe or whatever. It's the vibe. Like, like if you're attractive, like, you feel me? Or like we can have like regular conversation. It don't gotta be like, you know, let me take you out, or you feel me? It could just be regular conversation. Like, yeah. If they're aggressive from the junk, it's over.
SPEAKER_01You know what they want.
SPEAKER_03You know what they want.
SPEAKER_01Sex. That's it. They just wanna, they just see me as a body.
SPEAKER_04But didn't you say, but you said that you're in hot girl summer mode.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I could be in hot girl summer mode, but that doesn't mean I'm in thot girl summer mode. Like, I'm not a thought, you know? Like, just because I'm talking to multiple men doesn't mean I'm fucking with multiple men, you know?
SPEAKER_04Okay, so all right, cool. So how many and then what are you talking? So you're talking to a few right now.
SPEAKER_01Right now, it's just a hit or miss.
SPEAKER_04Okay, 16.
SPEAKER_01It's just a hit or miss type shit. It's got you. I just stopped talking to my my sneaky link type of situation. We just stopped talking. So now I'm just celibate. If I find a new guy to call up after I'm done with work or I'm it's late and I'm gonna call him up, boom. But if I don't got nobody, I'm going home.
SPEAKER_03So what do you think? So, what do you think are some solutions moving forward in the nightlife trying to date solutions? Um greater outcomes.
SPEAKER_00Me personally, don't date nobody in the nightlife. Um, even though it may work as far as like the timing, I personally don't think I would date somebody in the nightlife due to like, I don't got time for anything to fuck up my money. Because if I see you talking to a female, that's gonna mess me up. I'm already emotional. You feel me? I said I'm a lover girl, so I just don't got time for that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So what about you?
SPEAKER_01Same shit. If I see, like, I can't, if I know you be in the clubs and you be outside or you're a promoter, I can't fuck with you. Maybe I could flirt with you, you look good, you know, I'm a that's it, but to take you serious, I don't know about all that. Gotcha.
SPEAKER_04All right, so for all the dudes watching, last uh the last thing is what so what are you looking for right now? We know you're hot girl summer mode. You're probably looking for a potential guy for a situation ship. What about you? Situationship?
SPEAKER_00No, long term?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so you wanna so you won't be taken seriously. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Not me.
SPEAKER_04All right, so taken seriously outside situationship. So there you have it. Some are coming, some are coming. All the fellas send us a DM. Do not look, we'll put the DMs in the description, but they're not gonna respond, all right? Yeah. Their DMs are flooded.
SPEAKER_03Come correct. You have to come correct. Correct. And look good.
SPEAKER_04If you don't get a response, reach out to us. We'll put you in touch with these ladies. Yes. And there you go. That's it for the evening.
SPEAKER_01Wait, wait, wait. That's it? What's going on with the cards?
SPEAKER_03No, you don't gotta go through every card.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Everybody should have a card. You're not with all the form was off. All right, turn it off. I'll pick my card. Y'all pick y'all card.
SPEAKER_04You want to take another one?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, turn it off. Hold on. Get your job.
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I don't know if we have uh should people marry for love or for security. Um, people are gonna marry for both.
SPEAKER_01What? It should be for love at the end of the day. You can't be with this person forever for just security. Like, what you mean by that?
SPEAKER_03And what's your card? If you had to choose which one would you do without physical attraction or mental attraction? I I need physical attraction. There you go.
SPEAKER_01You need or you want?
SPEAKER_03No, I'd rather he's a guy. If we just go for the physical, I'm I'm visual.
SPEAKER_00Do you believe in gender roles?
SPEAKER_04You do. Do you want the man to lead a woman? Woman like woman cleaning, you want the man to lead and all that? Definitely. There you go.
SPEAKER_01Okay. In the getting to know phase, is it necessary to talk to the other person every single day?
SPEAKER_04Do you need yeah, do you need a text? Every single day. Do you need the good morning text, the good night? What you doing, what's the lunch, what you ate, what you ate.
SPEAKER_01What's for lunch?
SPEAKER_03What you ate.
SPEAKER_01I feel like it depends. Because if you're in that getting to know phase, it's like it depends on if you're just talking to talk or if you're talking to get in a relationship. For me, I don't want to talk to somebody every day. I have my own shit going on. I can't talk to you every day. So I'm not on that. You gotta talk to me before you get out of work or before you go to class or something. Like, no. Do you need the goodness? Do what you want to do, huh?
SPEAKER_04Do you need the good morning tucks?
SPEAKER_01I don't need it, but if you send it, I'm gonna look at you differently. You might be one of the top one out of the three, you know? So it just depends. Exactly.
SPEAKER_04No, he day room. Well, there you go. That answers the question you know, can a bartender find love, especially in a place like New York City where it's crazy? Uh, reach out to us if you want to get in touch with the ladies, or if you think you could go direct, hey, go ahead, shoot your shots, in the DM. And that is it. Thanks for joining us. Thank you. God bless.
SPEAKER_01Bye guys.
