Born in Beirut, Lebanon, and raised overseas before returning to Northern Virginia for high school, Kelly gained a unique perspective on life and culture. His inherit curiosity for how things worked had him taking tools a part in his parent's garage at a young age and dabbling with woodshop classes before pursuing engineering.
