SPEAKER_11

Let's go! I'm riding my dreams and I'm grinding my team, my teeth.

SPEAKER_06

Alright, punks, drunks, and skunks. Turn that sound up loud enough for the neighbors to hear. This is the Misplaced Punk Show with your host Brody. So grab a beer and let's go.

SPEAKER_11

And that's up. You got my before you know the head do. Well I know. And then I pray. Don't do that. Whoa! I don't get on a dog. Don't you realize? I wouldn't do something like that. The only thing that yeah, no. Come up like that. Come up by this. Come on up like that. Come on up by that.

SPEAKER_00

Welcome once again to the Mr. Place Hong Show. I am Brody Your House. How is everyone? How is your week? Mine was very fucking crazy. I think I mentioned it last week. I am on a schedule, so it's still kicking my ass. I have been slacking so bad on the socials. I'm so sorry, I haven't really talked too much about anything. It's just uh yeah, my days are very long now. I don't get home until like seven, eight o'clock at night, and then I'm just fucking drained. And then like yesterday, I felt like doing absolutely nothing. Ever have one of those weekends where you just want to sit there, badge out, and do nothing. That was me. But uh I'm still ready to do the show, still ready to bring you some kick ass. I have a new band. I think that's it. Uh I'll have to check the email to see if anyone else said me anything, but as far as I know, I only have one new band is new. But uh, anything is new is good. So I'm happy with that. Uh let's get into it! Uh the sweet booth from posting. That was this addiction. Anyone come out fighting from the very first self-titled album in 1991. Well, you know, with a freshman in high school. When that was released. Although I don't think I heard when the first 20 half game. That was really when I can do my feet. Anyway. That's what I've been thinking about all week as my first song was anyway. I couldn't decide which one I wanted. Why not? I was thinking. I remember wrong. But uh anyways, you will uh I had a birthday recently. I don't remember what you think. I don't remember exactly what you think now. But uh, I didn't acknowledge it at the time. Uh do a little uh shall we? Uh we're gonna start off with uh two covers first. The first one up is gonna be the hip three. And uh they did a two-song TV, but it's like contribute to the students, and we'll start off with their version, or I should say their cover of Luke. Right here on the PlayStation show.

SPEAKER_12

I found myself with the evil. I know they're flying, she's smiling at me, put your hands in my pockets, it's just too weird What do I find? What can we find? Where is the wine? Which one is mine? I can rob it, where is the wine? As I checked me for that rational seat, I've speaked with the rabbit, I've been I look to my left hand, I looked from my right, I've talked to that one girl, you looked at the fight What can I find? What is the water? What did I find? What's the bottle? Raptor, raft, your life is a mask, my last of your leg, might as well be screaming Where we gonna go tonight?

SPEAKER_10

Where we gonna go tonight? Where we gonna go tonight? Where we gonna go tonight?

SPEAKER_11

Where we gonna go tonight? Where we gonna go tonight? Rap, too, rap, to your hero. Where we gonna come tonight, your master's mouth, go to the country, we don't know, we don't have to be a little bit more than a lot of people.

SPEAKER_03

I can't be wrong, so I gotta be right or be eating. Something's hungry like a hunter. And it's growing like a finger. That's the part that's so appealing. It's the beat that dominates each breath and draw each step you take. Strike or be stricken Eat or be eating Yum yum yum yum Etabi Your skills are highly specialized, but still that girl can magnetize. Sense the hunger in her eyes beat or be beaten. There's no softness in her eyes, a weird dog glimpses in her eyes with a stubborn will to telly. Like some chief devil in disguise, that it's troubling me. Hell, it's nervy, that's what it is. Beat a beat, beat a beatin' Strike him is trickin'. The night is dark, the night is cold. But you'll back your head and take a go of air that screams a thousand times. The main thing is to victimize. It's just the night for a conquering tribe. Oh, it's just the night for a conquering tribe. Beat a beatin', beat up beaten, faster than the arrow flies. Or the man who smiles while he lies. It's just the night for a conquering tribe. And the girls are calling in a yellow address. The girl is calling in a yellow address.

SPEAKER_09

I see the sky sky. I am the I see a little. I look through the window. I see the ripples. We'll be the passenger We'll ride through the city tonight We'll see the city's ripped back sides We'll see the brightest hollow sky We'll see the stars that shine so bright A size made for us tonight Oh the passenger How how it rides Oh the passenger He rides and it rides It looks through his window What does it see?

SPEAKER_00

It sees a sight in a hollow sky You see the stars come out tonight It says a sitting with backside It says a widening ocean drive And everything was made for you and me All of it was made for you and me just a bit long for you and me So let's take a ride and see what's many Oh the passenger He rides and he rides He sees things from under glass He looks through his window inside He sees the things he knows He sees a bright and hollow sky He sees a city asleep at night He sees a star as a two night All the Vidal see you as a man I would so far how old Iggy really is early seventies but he is seventy nine seventy nine so he is around Trump's age And yet I would uh I would prefer Iggy as our president over uh Donald Trump. Really much I mean Iggy seems like he's in much better health as far as like mental goes. I mean as far as I know, I can't I mean I haven't seen too many interviews with him recently. I just saw a few uh I guess it's his final tour. I'm not 100% sure, but I've seen some videos. And he seems to be doing like the the hits and doing like a send-off kind of tour. So I mean at 79, yeah, dude. Enjoy the rest of your life. Just uh I mean I can still see him if you want to be horny, go ahead, but I think too much I think he's earned it, man. So uh we started with two covers. First we had the hit three, and then with uh we had Scumbag Millionaire with Robert Legs, and then we had three from the man in the show we had uh Rocky Roll Hardy from Hardy from 1981, and then the very next year 1982, we had ERB from then we went back to my original favorite of what the Passenger from Love for Life. I know there are other songs probably not playing for life, but I've heard that on another podcast, and I know the passenger is another popular one, and I don't for that, but it's my favorite. So I gotta play it. Um let's just continue. Uh I'm in the mood for some 80s hardcore for some reason. I don't know what's going on in my head. So uh we're gonna start off with some gorilla biscuits and finish what you started right here on this placebox.

SPEAKER_13

Sometimes I just can't see what I'm on to the fight, 39, that's my side, now it's all right.

SPEAKER_07

I had a hand on boy out of here.

SPEAKER_11

SPEAKER_08

That's the best part of the day for away on the way back in this fight for this, I'm gonna fight, oh god, I've done it, all the time, all the day, all the time, I forget, I just don't play, I want to do what you want to say, five, when I'm gonna fight the two, all the time, like we're like, oh the job, like your night, all the time, like we're fighting, all the time, like your day, all the time, that's what they're doing You gotta sit tough out of a field, you're a black killer, gym on the wheel. You get drunk with the boys, you gotta eliminate like you know, you batch for me white, trying to cheat out on the side, feeling out at the light, try and fashion down the flight Transam in the car father, translated, Tran Jam boy, you got it, trade them Cruisin around with him like a lot of girls, screw your child, take a full room. She loves you, but she's stuck in my foot. Everybody knows you love it to go. Choose it with the boys, Junior Matt. That's the job for if you want to try. You love to enough Transja, mean of course with the nut. Transition, in the car, but the nut Transition was you race, because you got Trans it See a camera, this is cool. You ask him for trying to look like a fool. Fox of power, give us two. You better up, what are you can't choose? On the mother now, you hit us too. It's fine to be a pretty decision, tiny stuff, beat us down, lost a lot of this tough score. Chance that make a car to that, change that makes a car to that, chance it boys be based with you, change it.

SPEAKER_11

What I had inside And my heart will be here for tomorrow when we day a brand new start. Zero failure Zero Free Max Stupid problems I've never had Never doubted what you had inside. What you had inside

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so that was probably actually it is the longest set I have ever done. But uh I kept adding hands and adding bands, and I'm like whoa fuck, not even need this band. Oh fuck, I need this band. And before I knew it, uh, what was it, like 22 minutes long? I was just kick-ass hardcore 80s. Just uh I love it. Uh those are basically, well, most of my favorite bands. Uh the ones I have digital versions of. Like uh I couldn't add uh MDC or GBH. I have both of them on vinyl, but I do not have a way of ripping the vinyl at the moment. Well, still. Uh I think I've said this before. But uh, yeah, so I couldn't post them. I have a newer uh NBC, but that's more about pump, which, you know, I've played before, but it's not 80s, so it didn't fit into the theme I was going for. Uh but anyways, let's see, we started with Gorilla Biscuits and finished what we started from their self-titled. Followed by Bad Brains and Banned N DC from their self-titled. Follow them up with Black Flag and Nervous Breakdown. That is from First Four Years, an album I got off of anarcho punk.net. So go check them out. Uh follow them up with Circle Jerks and Forced Labor, where from uh Wild in the Streets. Followed by my favorite hardcore band, uh the one that got me into hardcore, Minor Threat with Minor Threat from the first two seven inches. And then we had Agnostic Front, out for Blood, from their album Cause for Alarm. Followed by Youth Brigade with Moral Majority from their first demo. Then we had Teen Idols with Trans Anne from their anniversary album. Followed by Dag Nasty with Values Here from Can I Say. Then we had SOA with Warzone from the uh first old seven inches. Oh, four old seven inches. It's a uh compilation of a bunch of four different bands uh through uh Discord Records. We finished with Government Issue and No Right, that is also from the same uh album, which also has Teen Idols and Youth Brigade, but I had already played them. So I'll I'll play um I'm pretty sure I've played them before. All the four bands in that album. Uh Discord Records, you can't get better. I mean the fact that they actually responded and said I can play any of their discography was one of the highlights so far of my show. I mean, I just yeah, I could not believe. But uh, anyways, oh, I have two bands. I don't know why I thought I only had one. I'm not gonna say which one I forgot about, but uh I did forget about one of them. So uh we're gonna start off with uh a band from Chicago, which is uh where I was working before I moved to my current location. I was actually in Brookfield, but I've been to Chicago so many times. Uh been downtown, dated girls from there, just spent a lot of time there, and I really love the city. It's probably one of my favorite cities. Um so this is Lost Legion with hanging downtown right here on the middle play song, so I remember.

SPEAKER_11

Ready to have me, and we have to get some of the light, we don't need, sell a toy, make a sword, sell a tea, eight, basta, basta, basta, anyway, I got no place else to go.

SPEAKER_04

While I'm sleeping, you're up scheming, then when I wake up, you'll be thirteen hundred miles away. And since it all goes unflan, you'll never have to see my face again. You'll never even have to face the consequences for the things that you've done.

SPEAKER_01

And it's hard to hate someone. You're teaching the world's greatest favor. And it's hard to hate someone, but I promise I'll try Nothing with Gladys plant You fell on your face again.

SPEAKER_11

Judge, could it just keep your mouth shut about the shit that you do? Judge your friends ran their mouths And everybody fell down And now you have to look everyone in the eye You said it disappearing in the middle of a knife Yet it's hard, some wonder you What's great is favor? What's great as favor? Yet it's hard, dumb, what's better brothers outright When it's hard, someone who did you the world's greatest favor? Well greatest favor, when it's hardly someone, but I promise I'll try Then I'm not saying that I wish you were dying. When it's hard to want by the promise, I promise I'll try. Yeah, I promise I'll try a promise of trying to get out of the way. I dude with three years away to sick of what you done Now I'm helping on the fence The only way that I know how indiscriminated if you don't mean help us stop me Sometimes I should say that, but I can't be willing up alone I hear your voice side by head, I give anything to break you thank you for breaking you Where am I shot? What if you done ruining all the lives around? This there is win, that's all that I have in my heart When I play this in my hand Since it's now the way you win I still hear your voice in the night I give anything to make this, but I can't leave well enough low. I hear your voice on my hand, I give anything to bring you anything to bring you. Yes, I'm watching the mind. When I die, bury me without the right side when I go.

SPEAKER_00

What do you think? Did you like it? Which we had lost the legion out of Chicago, which we had hanging downtown, and then dancing alone on a Monday night. That is from probably one of the best uh album titles of all time. It is called I Hate You Like I Hate the Police. I fucking love that. And then we had two from the boy detective. They are out of Ypsilani, Michigan. I am from Michigan, so that is uh really cool. I actually know where that's at. Don't know if I've been there, to be honest. I might have, I have no idea. But uh, yeah, it's definitely mainly because it's such uh an odd name. So but uh yeah, great band to ska. Because as we know, we are the number 16 ska podcast. Right? I mean anyways, we had, like I said, that was there are the boy detective, we have replacement, and a dreadful collection of memoranda from her album Art Battle. Alright, and let's just continue with some more ska for you. We're gonna start off with uh my new favorite band, the Snouters, and this is Blob Fish.

SPEAKER_05
