SPEAKER_01Alright, punks, drunks, and skunks. Turn that sound up loud enough for the neighbors to hear. This is the misplaced punk show with your host, Brody. So grab a beer and let's go.
SPEAKER_05There's nothing cool about being a Nazi. We're coming with access, we're all the next year. I got a free race and for retrospection when I see him. Think it for a roadhead. I guess that needs a fucking jumps on me. Fascists of my hair, good. Now they wanna steal a country. Fascists of a haircut, now they wanna steal a country. But white supremacy, green air, besides. These trolls just say out loud. The race been trying to hide the air. The fucking dumb A Like they missed the memo on that southern strategy. Fascists on my haircut!
unknownNow they wanna steal our country! Fascists on my haircut! Now they wanna steal our country! Fascists on my haircut! Now they wanna steal a country!
SPEAKER_05They say you know they'll be fucking unprepared! Fascists on my haircut! Now they wanna steal a country! Fascists on my haircut! We're not letting them take anything!
SPEAKER_00Alright, welcome everyone to the Misplaced Punk Show. I am your host, Brody, and this is episode 150. Yes. We have made 150 episodes. This is crazy. I never thought when I started this I would make this many episodes and still be doing it. This is my third year of doing it. Uh I'm I just love it. Uh met so many bands, uh so many people. Uh this has just been a great roller coaster ride so far. Um still not making any money off of it, but uh still enjoying it. That's not why we do it. Um buy more music, more LPs, more vinyl, set cage, whatever. Uh, because there's so much music out there that I have, you know, barely scratched the surface as far as buying purchasing. But we still keep going because uh it's a crazy fucked up country right now. And this is kinda like my little uh relief uh therapy session every week. Uh I get to talk to you, get to play some kick-ass tubes, and just sometimes vent uh you should know that by now. Um just like you should know by now. I love compilations. But uh yeah, let's get into it. Uh this week with follow-up with yo yo. Uh the first man that everybody I guess is the note. Uh great group of guys. So thank you guys for your support. And they've just been great. Very encouraging. Love those guys. Uh so let's just get into the first set. Now this will be a mixture of new and old classic and modern stuff. So we're gonna start off with uh a newer album. This is uh from Fred Rattle, this is firing right here on the display.
SPEAKER_05Those kids are picking up bread eggs, don't smell a petrol in the air. They ain't about to give up Three million of them everywhere Nobing is gonna stop them, no they ain't stepping back They sat around too long now, it's time to attack You can go, You can go You can go You can't go No time, no employment Sat around for much too long Violence is their enjoyment Come on and join the frog I made it she's a pain How much longer will she last? Next time force of violence, I don't know if we can last You can go!
SPEAKER_04You can go You can go You can go Those kids are freaking up racks That's well retro the air They ain't about to get them up Three million of them everywhere No make it gonna stop them No they ain't stepping back They sat around long now It's time to attack You can come You can come You can come You can come in 16 doesn't give a fuck about you Always on the bow Make it double We the throw He loses his soul every night It doesn't matter what's from your right He live by himself because it's all alone Fake a lie and so it's a night I'm so Well you've lost his soul Way and I lost his soul Wait a lie and I lost his soul Well he lie and I lost his soul He lost his soul Running white in the streets at night He's the last one standing after the fight Never like the choice never got it a line We shouldn't say from time to time Oh advising the survival lot of you fight for saying that it didn't do What the lie so What the lie So What is so He lost his soul He lost his soul He lost his soul He lost his soul He lost his soul Goin through Paradin A boss I don't like it on it all the day I'll just be on the trail Just going through Paradin's Don't get the meaning of Alright I forgot to mention at the top of the show but I do have some new bands, some new music.
SPEAKER_00So we'll uh we'll get to that later. Uh I also forgot to mention that I may, since this is a 150th episode, I was thinking, should I go 150 minutes? Which is uh what, two and a half hours? It may be too much for some, but I mean I have so much music that I want to play. Usually I have to cut a lot out, so we shall see. I don't know. We can do it, we will do it. Um, so that being said, we started with Rat Rattle and Firing Line from their new album as The World Falls Apart. Then we had fire convictions with their single UK Thunk, followed by Lion's Long, and their single Lionheart, finishing with Rip, and their single Hot Class. Alright, I'm gonna take you back right now to the very beginnings of what many called Punk. It was the year 1977, one of the very first bands. Uh they played CBGBs, everyone knows. Uh they originally had Richard Hell in there. But uh one of my favorite bands, uh, this is television with See No Evil, right here on the Displaced Punk show that I was I won't now, and there's a whole lot more than I wanna fly, fly a fountain.
SPEAKER_05I wanna jump, jump, jump, I'll jump a mountain. I am the stay alone, destruction purchases. I see, I see the I get out of this I can emotion I want a master made out of emotion I get your point You're so shocked getting good actions when it be a shock I understand the strongest seeker. I see I see no one. Well that's it, I gotta do this what I want I want now a so that more than it has the force.
SPEAKER_19Too many lives have gone down.
SPEAKER_05I've made excuses for myself before, afraid to make decisions till now, and I don't give a damn whatever anyone. And it's not gonna be a love that cannot speak its name. Now is the time for something new. Now is the time for some Now is the time for me and for you I don't want to hide this love anymore.
SPEAKER_00Too many eyes have been so Now's the time to show the world I know When all the love has gone wrong Well, I don't give a damn anymore anyway And it's not gonna be a love that cannot speak its name Now is the time for something new Now is the time for something Now is the time for me and for you And if life was like this everywhere No more wars, no brief I wouldn't care I want all the best for people I guess I found love for people That should be like this for everyone Let me have to work I want all the best for people I guess I found out for people Hey it's like what's that is every frequent No more was no free care I want all the best for people I guess I've found out for people Let's be like this Oh everyone's a lot of the bigger baby Oh my shaking All is talk of blood and I am It's a cause of all my shaking The bottom I have no place to travel It makes me want to win out shaking I was so talking about There's something we can do without This man I'm holding my that's what's in my shape Just keep what no more photo I'll let's talk I'm talking label I tell you this you can leave me out Don't bother as no words too battle I want something to have my head I feel it's all those trucking paper That's something I can do without an hour Oh God to talk to us in my son Just keep one room for telling me stuff It's all the same It makes me want to sell the button That's something I have to do it now It's better on it for the time it was mainly music you could buy off of Bandcamp But uh since then it evolved into what my philosophy has become which is music I want to hear on the radio but don't which often uh includes music you can only find on Bandcamp uh older bands uh obscure bands so yeah that's basically what like that set was I mean if you I would say this if you live in an area where that is played on the radio you are so lucky I am in uh I'm in the South uh in Tennessee so yeah it's mainly country music or classic rock which I have to say I'm a little offended by this week I was flipping through channels and I came across like the classic rock station and they were playing Lincoln Park and like what the fuck that okay that is not I am old apparently because that is not classic fucking rock no way but uh this is classic punk uh we started with television and Ceno Evil from the album Marquis Moon which came out in 1977 I don't know the exact uh month off the top of my head but I was less than a year old when it came out so I just repeat myself uh followed them up with the Stranglers with uh This Town from Stranglers in the Knight and then we had X-ray Specs with Identity from German Free Adolescent and we finished with Gang of Four and Guns Before Butter from our album Entertainment. Uh you know there are various opinions as to which genre or genre the which age I guess you could say of punk is the best whether it's the late 70s you know 76 ish to 80 whether it's the early 80s with the hardcore emergence uh late 80s whether it's the 90s with a skate punk revolution kind of uh and the onset of like what is it the third wave I guess of Scott Punk and uh Tony Hawk and all that I love it all so it doesn't matter to me so that being said it is June I know we're like what two weeks away two weeks away maybe exactly I don't know when the first day of summer is but we're gonna call it summer right now so we're gonna actually already noticed the music behind me is uh different it is uh what's called a Bermuda shorts or something like that uh different uh surf rock song I don't know I don't know what to say right now um so I'm gonna start with uh some summer feelings volume one uh first band I'm gonna play is the Renfield with Machete a go-go right here on this place Wanna go to the tona beach where the girls are nifty and out of reach oh yeah oh yeah they tona beach the girls are busy getting ten and cat walking the newest friends oh yeah oh yeah they don't beach oh yeah oh yeah wanna ride a support all day long and then there's a party that the serpent plays inside the donut beach is the place to go it's groovy and cool and out of control oh yeah oh yeah the donut beach story the tip is what you know best surface cars and rock and roll oh yeah oh yeah the donut beach oh yeah oh yeah we do remember Ricky cards left with me let's all check to Ricky Let us raise a big I wanna go go go go to don't go go go go to donut go go go go to na beat Wanna go go go go the tonga go go go go to na go go go go to na be Oh yeah oh yeah so come and take my hand let's go to this place Witch as far as I could I put some sunscreen on my face I wanna go go go to donut go go go So the donut go go go show the donut I wanna go go go go to donut go go go go to donut go go go go to go nah flap flap flap down as long as there's rips let me squeeze into my stretchy pants and let's go let's go whack what you can roll I have you got enough to remote control until now till now to make the message that's a winch but I know not now I don't know what you like and look at the word in a free as a bird in my best go in a free as a bird in my best go in my best go in my best go in my best go in my We started with the Redfields and the Shadia Go-Go. Then we had the Barbecue's with Daytona Beach, followed by The Johnny Five with My Rascal. We finished with Rockaway Radio and California Sun. That is from Summer Feelings, Volume 1, crazy of RTTB Records. Also known as Ramones to the Bone. Now, I don't know if the Johnny 5, uh I'm gonna guess they take the name from First Circuit, but I'm not 100% sure. Uh yeah. I mean, I'm just hoping I love that movie. So, uh you want to continue on the next set. I don't have their newest album because it's a little pricey, and I really want the vinyl. I don't want just the video copy, which is the final but the vinyl is like with uh should be fine, I believe. But uh anyways, this is angel thing, and I can't go back right here on this place.
SPEAKER_13So go watch to make it through the door, kill the wire, yes, somewhere.
SPEAKER_18I'd really, really, really like to help you out.
SPEAKER_03Nothing left to take for a quick pillow. One thing I confess, yeah, I might be a bit jealous. No, you're never, never, never gonna ever gonna kill my best.
SPEAKER_05Kinda sort of feel like looking at the further But don't go change your way to my action Wait chopping at the fit, but fine stuck in E. No, you're never, never, never gonna ever gonna kill my best Right of that I've probably run but this whole fucking thing but side of being Maybe I just feel unappreciated So these emotions make me unmotivated Gonna make a move, I'll move up a cat the reset button, move on with our yeah But show me a little piss When I feel I bring messages Cash I'm trying on the sick Boba thoughts on a chunk, let me feel like it's see it Makes me wanna square, not feel like it's a quick So you never never never gonna ever gonna get my best Right up right up Proper clear up by this whole fucking thing by side of me Maybe I trust that I feel unappreciated So these emotions make me unmotivated No you're never never never gonna ever gonna get my best No you never never never gonna ever gonna get my best No I don't know a lot of TV okay No, you never never never gonna ever gonna get my best My best My best My best My best What's a gimmick That was yet another set of bands that should be played on the radio, but I don't hear them.
SPEAKER_00I only hear them on other podcasts. Uh we started off with Angel Face and I Can't Go Back from their two song EP. Then we had Bad Idols with Kill the Light from Popstar, followed by the Radio Buzz Kills with Never Gonna Get My Best from the album Get Even. We finished with Gino and the Goons and Dance of the Goons from her self-titled album. Alright, it is time for some new music. All the way from Madrid, Spain, we have two from Plastic Meat. We're gonna start off with Burn with Me. Right here on the Miss Place the Punk Show.
unknownYeah, for you are right. Can you see me here? I don't want to go, for a couple, suck the meat, suck and pay, go for a go.
SPEAKER_05You can drive me up, make me look real tough, and I'll fight the enemy. And how I wish it I could be And how I wish it I could be Your comic book superdity, I'll show it all to you now wherever you go, I'll fight the world for you. I see you smiling back at me. You're hot and you're sweet, you're all I'll ever be. My cat, you're everything to me. Never be too much. And she's my captain We met when I was in school. She's my cat enough, will never be too much. And she's my team that babies my cat.
unknownYou never be too bad. You never be too bad.
SPEAKER_00So we started off with two from Plastic Meat. First we had Burn with Me, and then Choking Me, both from their album Losing It. Then we had two from Dodgeball. First one was Comic Book Superhero followed by My Caffeine. Those can be found over on YouTube. There's also uh three albums, I wanna say, over on Bandcamp. Uh this is what they sent me. As their their newer stuff. Uh actually My Caffeine, I believe, is on the last album. I can't remember what year that came out. They are from New Jersey. Uh hold on one second. I can check them out. Yes, they are from New Jersey and My Caffeine. Oh, maybe not. Okay. The last album that came out was called Get Some. Pretty good album. Um I'm gonna say. No, I'm sorry. And yes. Uh no, then also doesn't have to be. Yes, and my caffeine. Okay. I knew I was uh right to first find, but every time you quit yourself, you're always like great band. Um play two from them right now. Uh and then I have a new one from Elvidir. And I can't even think of what's after that. But anyway, here it is, two from Gray for Dead right here on this playbook show.

It's not too up with it, stop it, stop the forest, take it down, the food is quiet, it's what it's quiet, and that's the wife they all step out in the circle, you need to go to Marchway, stop it to go. Well, there's a season, so we'd be right. It's no the enemy, no compromise. I thought, hey, down, you just in here, it's about it. It's what we're gonna see. It's not you up with it, stop it, stop your water, it's down, the fruit is fine on your neck, it's flipping. They are let us all gone.
SPEAKER_02I've got a plan for the weekend. If I'm not playing, then I'm never gonna satisfy my plans for the weekend. It's the second over waste of work and time. Stop the other fall at up, uh, up it up, no, no, no. What do you remember from us now? Always do the same thing, always do the same thing. I've had enough and now my head is pounded.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, if I says I wouldn't need a same thing again. I've got a battle for the weekend. It's a mouthplay, but I'm never satisfied.
SPEAKER_02Just sit us down, the time is up, uh, talking now, nutty nap, nah, nah, nah. Give them all the way rounds and crazy. So we always do the same thing again again.
SPEAKER_05Play for the weekend. It's all the way to that.
SPEAKER_02Stack the autopilot up, up up. Stab the autopilot, up up, stab the autopilot, up, up, up, up. Always do the same thing, always do the same thing. Stack the autopilot, up, up, up, stack the autopilot, up.
SPEAKER_05Always do the same thing. I've got a bath on the weekend. If I'm not playing and memorized, satisfy my back for the weekend. Take it all away, so let's do that.
SPEAKER_00Two more new games, another single. Gotta love it. Started off with two for uh Hooray for Dad. First we had Road Trip and then Go Back to Bad from their album I Hungry. Um like the oldest dad joke of all time. Basically all the songs are on like dad punk. Which is unfortunately I can relate to it now. Uh follow them up with a brand new single from Belvadeers, their third, probably their last, from the new album uh Seven Years of Bad Luck that was in Solidarity. And we finish with the light show and plan for the weekend. Um It is time for new dwarfs. The brand new album Jenkum uh released yesterday. And yeah, if you want to uh learn something a little gross and interesting, look up what the drug Jenkum is. I did not know, looked it up. Now, I'm glad. Well, I can't I should say I'm surprised that people do this shit. Uh no planet cannot. But uh, nah, I'm not. I'm really not. So we're gonna have two. And then we're gonna start off with uh actually titled Bad Drugs right here on the placebo.
SPEAKER_07I wanna be productive, I don't don't wanna remember, or whatever. I really don't know, I just know it's a bad drug, it's a bad remember, really.
SPEAKER_05That was a bad drug, it's a bad bad drug.
SPEAKER_07I don't wanna sit down and shut up and just do as I'm told Don't wanna live forever. That just means being old, I don't know what it is.
SPEAKER_05It's a bad drop, so you bad That's a bad drop, it's a bad guy tonight, or whatever, don't wanna die in my pleasure, that's why they feel it's a bad drunk, it's a bad, bad It's a bad drunk, it's a bad bad drug is a bad bad drug they've come for thee, young lovely accessory Have mercy now she's with me, she's not guilty She knowing that for her loyalty When to trust one royalty But have mercy now she's with me, she's not guilty, she is free A Melania, Amelia Put doing as you please Now come along with me You need me to control you since you but you take me I'm no exclusive Jackie Oh She just needs a husband low set up free now let her go but I need to know Oh no A Melania A Melania You're doing as you please Now come along with me I'm ready to whistle you and explain the my pussy I'm not who you think I am And I think you could use a head exam And I know I'm not always right But how can we make babies If you won't spend the night Just because I live like an animal who smells like a penisoo Sometimes I go be in the shower does not mean I don't love you Not me, not me Now no no Not me, not me all your friends were right One look at me, I'm a rapper type And maybe you give me a chance I take you out to dinner But I can't find my pants Just because I live like an animal Smells like a panty zoo Sometimes I go be in the shower Does not mean I don't love you Not me not me now no not me Not me now Nobody knows Nobody knows Just because I live like an animal Who smells like a belly zoo Sometimes I don't be in the shower Does not mean I don't love you Just because I live like an animal Spells like a pedigree zoo Sometimes I don't be in the shower Does not mean I don't love you Love you oh Love you oh Love you oh oh oh this were a dictatorship it'd be a heck of a lot easier Just so long as I'm the dictator Welcome in Chief Watch your beat It's my word IOS Criticism we must stay that goes I'm a Nazi cat in my SUV Just a late and you're all freaks I'm a Nazi cat I'm a blue monkey I am still the vote as you all know I'm a top guy in the land I call the shots on the cheap desk spot fight for the following I'm a Nazi cat in my SUV Just to late A You all freaks I'm a Nazi cat I'm a cool monkey Monkey in a suit of the White House line Monkey in a suit with his dungeab, monkey in a suit with a nuclear bond There are some who I feel like it's different to such a fake and attack us there, bring him on Monkey in a suit on the White House line, monkey in a suit with his dungeon, monkey in a suit with a nuclear bond. Monkey in a suit with a stun's gap on, monkey in a suit with a nuclear bond.
SPEAKER_00Uh while listening to that set, I'm sorry, but it is now in your brain permanently. You'll never forget it. Um we started off with two for the brand new dwarves album after Kyle Jenkham. We had Bad Drugs and then Melania. Uh, followed up by Gutter Mouth with P in the Shower from their album Gusto, and we finished with The Queers and Monkey in a Suit. From their album Monkey Brain. Uh Monkey in a suit can be uh contrast basically every politician in history. I mean it's all been just monkeys and shoots, throwing their feet into the wall and yelling at each other, and just the worst, the dumbest parts of humanity. Um so let's get some more classic punk in here. One of my favorite songs, um, by a very interesting band. This is a new model army, and here comes the war, right here on the misplaced punk show, and that's a good idea.
SPEAKER_10They break like waves of hunger and desire upon these eroded shores Carrying the curses of history, but a history it's over return. Black color of the bazaars that go to the forest floor They shout, give us a fake share, give it a seat just case early morning to the south of air video men in makeshift uniforms, carrying to the misty ladies Re figures dark behind the trees As a snap of rifle rounds echoes out across the field Will they hardly know they're a secret when I saw Yeah But they recognize the duty to defend the flag Hanging live on body above the village on the river Young Break the lights on the Asian razor out the candle Yeah tell us all those great stories and once about serial killings The dreams flow into savage toy Cheer the sorrow and scream it out across the city We had three odd nights in succession The Red season is here again we lose back the valley of the shadow of death, and I think that's a good thing.
SPEAKER_05I like things that find things that free back nine Everybody is asking me what's it like down there? That's great story is all the wall up there I safe just being alone Living in darkness, living in a world of my own state just being alone Living in darkness, living in our stuff doing everything by myself, fucking so I wanna live to be a couple thousand years old too ashes, just too dust last I used somebody that I could touch down, I'm so sure. I feel safe if being alone, living in darkness, living in a while am I home I feel safe if being alone, living in darkness, living in a while am I? I'm left by lift down dying the thing of the past Know these girls, I know I'll turn him up to bed I know why I am never gonna go again, never again I just take this girl, living in doctors, live in a word of my own I feel takes this girl, living in darkness, live around my own. We can't stand still, there's a real pointing going on. There's a message in our heads, we're talking strange guttural sounds. We're back from the dead, it's senseless, but we can carry on. So we feel like primal man, swap me from the weather hands, from the way we stand, back from the dead Up around a sound of drums, for the pills on the tips of our tarts, but shoot why we're stand back from the deads, walking on the statues, talking our sleep, is very like pointing going on Switch on the sheets, switch out the lighting, so hey No! So it feels like Rino Band, drawing me from the weather hands, in prison where we stand back from the dead That's around to the sound of drums, all the pills on the tips of our turns, but choose life instead back from the dead, back from the dead, back from the dead, back from the dead Why you think you tell me how to get to walk what the heart is fine? What is the Well what you think?

SPEAKER_00Alright, you know we had to play some of our buddies up in Squamish. Starting with Tides will turn and home record, followed by Death Sentence and Statue of Mitt of Misery. Wow, can you talk there? Uh follow that up with Johnny Trash and Call Your Guy. We finished with the Thingerling and Stockholm. Alright, all that is from volume six. Alright, that'll do it for another episode. Of course, this has been uh the longest episode we've ever done. As far as I know, I only I think this even beats the Halloween and Exodus episodes, if I'm not mistaken. So I hope you enjoyed it. I hope you enjoyed all the music. Hope you found some new bands that you like. Uh most of these can be found over on Bandcamp. A lot of them are from my own collection. Uh like I said, the dwarves just came out yesterday, so go check that out. Um as always you can find us over on the socials, Instagram, Facebook, we have a Facebook group. Uh you know, as always, if you want to suggest them something or you make a request, MissPleasePunk at gmail.com is the best place. So if you want to send us some toons, you can send it there. Um there's a uh link somewhere if you're listening if you're listening to it on bus route for fan mail, if you want to contact us with a request or anything like that. I will re- I can respond now. Um there's a link down below if you want to support the show. Like I said, we do not have uh my Patreon yet or anything like that. So I mean, it's in my brain. That's about as hard as it's got. Same thing with uh the merch. I have a hat that I tried out. It's okay. As far as like the pit goes, uh it's not too bad. I would prefer a more fitted hat. But you know. Whatever. It is what it is for right now. So uh yeah. So the next episode, oh, I will be basically gone for the next two weekends, but I'm gonna record episodes beforehand, but so you know, there won't be any like new tunes if I get anything from now. Between now and then, uh whatever I get uh while actually recording these episodes, or whatever time this week it takes me to record, if I get anything new, I will play it for you. But until uh what, three weeks from now, uh I'm gonna uh end with uh one of these bands that I don't normally play that may not fit perfectly into what we do listen to, but I s it's still good, and I know probably probably uh most of you do listen to this band. Uh if we want to play some Joy Division. This is a means to an end from the uh 40th anniversary of Closer. Came out in 1980, so it's 46 years now, which is fucking insane. But anyways, as always, this has been the Miss Place Punctual. I have been your host, Brody. Have a great weekend, I'm gonna go to the house.
SPEAKER_17One day we'll be improved. We left behind. We were the better kind. The same, set free too. I always look to you.
