Let's go! It's Brandy's birthday, she's a jump pain. Then I saw the hell remain with blue memorable face. I bet you visit the side to jump on the creature and back.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, punks, drunks, and skunks. Turn that sound up loud enough for the neighbors to hear. This is the misplaced punk show with your host, Brody. So grab a beer and let's go.

SPEAKER_01

I am your frog. And you are looking at this. I am coming on my way to Florida. I will be going to very Mexico. My first time in Mexico. So this was recording the four right after recording the 150th episode, which was our longest day. Over two and a half hours, so over 150 minutes. I didn't get to play that. So next episode will basically be a lot of that. I'm gonna try to play different songs. Or any band, I should say, from the three episodes. So you won't be hearing any bands repeated. Hopefully. Unless my brain has a brain part, and I forget actually play the same one, but my goal is to play different bands in all the episodes. So this week was anti-body with Mars. Which was the Beaters Band and some kind of hate doing a very good music cover. Um anyway, let's just run into the first band. I've only played from uh the Funkorama, I think. This is Millen Cowan, but my name is Golden, right here on the display punk show.

SPEAKER_01

We started with Melancholy and my name is Golden from their album Kingwood. I think it's the I would say it's their most popular at least that's one I remember uh playing over and over and over again when it first came out uh follow them up with the muff and Don't pick on me from really really happy I just I don't see how you can not like the muff.

SPEAKER_03

A phenomenal singer sorely it's crazy how long are already banned since we lost her uh yeah it's just what a voice follow them up with the Dead Nookman and Punk Rock Girl from Yellow Baba and finish with face to face and walk the walk from your film title album I don't think I've ever played either of those games before uh yeah I don't think so so let's just continue on another cast set for start off with class of 1984 and pick the fight with the thing right here on the place the holy copyright the Prince of Doctor's at me I am my own me the voice is free is over here's gonna free the bricks are not the sound really well it's gonna be the voice is screaming so I hear But now it's time to see my ass be out the body touch it down with road and goddamn legs and why it's way to fight my only fucking right no people sick no the D Walk Come to fight my only fucking right now he's out of the mid the DMC save let's go fight we're only fucking right the DCS and won my boy nothing to fight the only fucking right I'll be out sick it's out of me now I think it's CSM they won't I ball the DSL the won my boy come on soldier rule that please tell us what to do we have no money can just without help from you no thanks go fuck yourself and single for your views don't shut our camions down I thought we have the right to shoot Bro we won't return especially not for you like kids are shut up and tell us what to do no you'll catch up first your prolife fucking shut up we're taking away our right it's not about a fortune no it's all about control You play the part of caring Christians trying to save our soul and heaven's where you are there's something we should mention they say the world the hell is up to pay with good intentions No we won't return it's actually not for you what to do No you can stop us that without a fight We have no right back fight. We need to be a red back. Don't make it, go through yourself, and stop your fucking ward. Now we will let that go. Now you'll get the fire. Now we're not fighting. We have the right to choose. Down the back. On the law. Take the bird and down the dapper, where you stand. On the back.

unknown

When the days are short, the nights are low. But everyone you used to know.

SPEAKER_05

You brought nothing new and nothing old.

unknown

Still walk your way back home. The rooms were dark and they were gone. And I'm allowed to get the ball open.

SPEAKER_01

Followed by Pep Talk with New Blood. We got the single. And we finished with the Rackets and Federal Girls. And that is from Odds and Ends Volume 1. And we have also a two-song EP. Alright, let's just keep rolling. Another kick-ass band that I don't play this song as much. This is the Zaha Gebor with Ja Gebor. Right here.

SPEAKER_03

I never see what's right in front of me. To think about it, feels a politics. But if I thought about it logically, probably hang my head in shame. But pacing up and down a corridor. A broken window or an open door. And if I list them chronologically, probably startless just the same. It's not an omen but an open cord. A premonition that we can't afford. Get me the jet. I'll stay. If I'm hopeless, I'll say. Let this be the end of day. Goodbye. Never seen a look like this before. Feels like a scratching that I can't ignore. Quiet weapon is the breaks, which are fucking my blind would only get in the way. It's like a faster mother probably. Now I'm looking for acknowledgement. Still a bit too much of a gate, I'll make a lot of things that just can't wait. Put them up a couple of days. And now it's a late. Don't catch the way. That's dead the goddamn life. Don't get back, step the back of the facts. Stupid things I say If I can see what's right in front of me. My double vision would be the death of me. Or maybe make it catatonically. Fuck it, let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Those are like that, trust me. Every conversation, confrontation. Nobody would go like that. Then the self-dabrication Just like a million times before.

unknown

Anyway.

SPEAKER_02

Throw the thoughts away. They're in the way you need to be holding on a complacency. On the back is the diet. Every conversation has a teacher. It's heavy, but you can follow this. Yeah, that's too big. Who in the winds are you? Try to say it, but it came out wrong anyway. You gotta throw the thoughts away. But you just meant to make it if you gotta die to try. You try to say it, but it came out wrong anyway. You gotta throw those thoughts away.

unknown

There is anywhere you need to be.

SPEAKER_01

Then we had Nerdinger with their single Silly Sorry. And of course, it was off of P Records. Then we had the OK Greeks with Where You Need to Be from their album Area of Refuge. And we finished the motorcycle Crom Dates and California Avenue from their self-titled album. Alright, let's go back to 1982. This is Bad Religion and Lash KeeKid right here on the Display Sponge Show.

SPEAKER_03

Feeling much like the devil. So I'm that burned inside of me. Red in a three Puerto Rican. The girl took us to the funhouse where we played a lonely baseball machine. New York City. I wish I was on the highway. Back to Olympia. I'm having a hard time understanding. He gets all to the man in. He's all gone and I'm trendy. So they're trying to keep inside of me. I know it's four o'clock in. She ain't never shut up then. I watched a thousand come up from work. Hang out the corner, a 50-second driveway. Cars pass by, but not a losing from my way. New York City, I wish I was on the highway. Before I go crazy, before I lose everything. Something burning deep inside.

SPEAKER_08

Ranning in three Puerto Ricans. These girls took me to the cornhouse. I don't wanna be alone again.

SPEAKER_03

Hanging on the corner, a 15-second broadway. Cars back by that one seem to come my way. Back to a live Don't call me white! Don't call me white. Don't call me white. Don't call me white. Don't talk to white. Don't all be white. Don't talk to white. I want this white dog. Don't call me white. Don't tell me white. Don't tell me white. Don't tell me white. Don't call me white. Don't tell me white. Don't call me white. See that believe that you wanna do the dust? I think it's not you said there's a power death that you'll never alone. The body and the dead box takes control. Destroy your mind. You think I'm straight boy? Ya la fight. Well, I just pushed it. Still I just feel it, making your wheel. All the ride my list, I'm waiting to kill dog stays in too. Destroy your mind. You think I'm straight boy? Ya la boy.

SPEAKER_01

I think I would call these like uh the best of nineties punk set, I guess. Does that make sense? Because we started with Bad Religion, which actually came out in uh 1982, with uh Last Key Kids, that is from How Could Hell Be Any Worse. But uh personally I didn't start hearing them uh till the 90s, because again, they were on the radio. Uh followed them up with No FX and their cover of Rancid's Olympia, Washington. That is from the BYO split series volume 3. So of course we had to have Rancid and their cover of Don't Call Me White from No F. And we finished with Good Riddings and State Control, which is from Balads from the Revolution. Alright, uh, we have time to talk right now. We have enough time for one more set. So I'm going to go up to Canada. Another uh I think they're like, I don't know how many albums, like seven, ten albums, and so they're no longer nickels in the block. Uh and pronunciation is well I've heard multiple different pronunciations. Uh I used to say propag uh Gandhi, kind of like uh, you know, Gandhi himself himself there. But uh I've also heard propagandi. So correct me if I'm wrong. I'm gonna go with propagandi. Uh and this is the only good fashion is a very dead fashion. Right here? I'm gonna display my show.

SPEAKER_10

Sex is racist homophobes, Aryan agents and hammer skins? I love an attempt, you know!

SPEAKER_06

Just what exactly are the great historical accomplishments of your race that make you proud to be white? Capitalism, slavery, genocide, sitcom? This is your fucking white history, my friend.

SPEAKER_10

So why don't we start making the history worth being but I'm gonna start fighting a real fucking enemy? Swasticas and clan robes. Sex is racist homophobes. This one's for the master race. Why brown power ass in your white power face? Kill them all and let a North God start them out.

SPEAKER_03

Just great, dress the god, we're going, Side and speak, a day is side, stop in the shape. Wait a game, drawing out Make sure the mountains are Feels good, that's the blue, let us shoot down to your car. Walk every time, do what you wanna dream and just ignore everybody Walk every time, do what you wanna dream and just inform everybody What you are, how do we touch it over and touch your charge? Why is it shouldn't they start? Maybe joke and make a shit They make you wanna quit Guess what? I'm not gonna cheat involve drama Fuck every time, do what you wanna do and just ignore everybody Fuck every time do what you wanna do and just inform everybody. I call myself, she can fall the wire Wanna go out by myself, I gotta work on my arm mental health Guess what?

SPEAKER_01

I don't care My confidence has been repaired Oh you can't you think you shop Three more words don't get full Fuck every time do what you wanna do and trust Ignore everybody Fuck every time do what you gotta do and trust Inform everybody Fuck every time do what you wanna do and trust Ignore everybody Fuck every time do what you gotta do and trust Inform everybody Sunday Sunday precious skill I want it out It's my headset I take it out I wanna piss for the fame I wanna piss for the millions I come in my name for me It's called the game I see a free I tell my shame Don't hear me come I want a fishbowl It's for the devil I live for the glory of fame I wanna fist ball It's for example The millions I call in my name Spell a dream I've got just a spin of mansion I stay like a match like it happened I've been second we can make it a lot of the Food Fucking All right so I haven't repeated any music yet uh we started with Propagandy and the only good fascist is a very dead fascist from Less Talk More Rock followed by Vicious Blonde with Ignore Everybody. Follow them up with Sex Max and Goodwill from their album Repackage and we finish with Baby and the Nobody with Pistol from their album Kiss This. Alright, that'll do it once again for another episode. Hope you enjoyed it. Found some new bands. If you haven't been listening, if you're new, most of these bands can be found over on Bandcamp. Uh some, like uh I think maybe Nerdminger, you might have to go through P Records. I'm not 100% sure on that. But uh other men like uh let's see like the Dead Milkman, Milk Holland them up, stuff like that. They're uh more mainstream, so you won't find them on Bandcamp. But uh NoteX is over on Bandcamp. I don't think that split is, but uh all the other stuff is where I found them and then uh contacted them. So yeah, as always we are on the socials. Instagram, Facebook, you wanna message us, misplacepunk at gmail.com, or misplacepunk at proton.me. If you wanna suggest a band, uh request a song, send us some music if you want us to play the music. Or just uh just a bullshit. So, and if you do want to bullshit, another good way is you're on the uh website, the BuzzRot website where I post my podcast through. There is a fan mail, which basically is just a message. But uh I can respond email. And uh there should be a link down below if you want to support us. Uh that should be about it. Alright, I'm gonna leave you with I think I played this a long time ago. Uh they're kind of like a new wave British band, but they're more they're more modern. And this particular song was from shit, now my brain. The girl walks home alone at night, which is a Iranian uh horror film. I think it's filmed in Los Angeles though. But uh it's a really good movie, and there's this uh point in the movie where I think the I'm not gonna say too much, but the girl puts on a record and it's just on. It's where the first time I heard it, and I immediately went and listened to it, and then we immediately went and bought it. So this is White Lies with Death from the album To Lose My Life. This has been the Miss Placed Punk Show. I have been your host, Brody. Have a great week.

SPEAKER_13

I love the feeling when we live on watching the world so small and low I love the dreaming when I'm in God's safety in the clouds out my window I wonder what keeps us so high up Could there be love beneath these wings? If we suddenly fall, should I scream out keep very quiet and cling to my mouth as I'm crying So frightened of dying Relax yes I'm trying with fears gotta hold on me Yes this feels gotta hold on me Yes this feels got a hold on me I love the quiet of the night time when the sun is drowned in the deathly sea I can feel the heart beating as a speed frog The sense of time catching up with me The sky set out like a pathway But who decides which route we take As people drift into a dream world I close my eyes as my hands shake And when I see a new day Who's driving this anyway?

SPEAKER_03

I picture my own grave Cause Fizz gotta hold on me Yes this feels gotta hold on me Yes this fears gotta hold on me Yes this fears gotta hold on me Yes this fears gotta hold on me Floating either up or download I hit the ground to the earth beneath my body shade And cast your sleeping arms away to the trample stars from moonlit sky could it drag and tear from your cold eyes I live on the right side and sleep on the left while everything is gotta be the dead Yes this bit of
