Let's go. Just a fucking tool. You make all the lace roll with your slick back here. You make a thing that you don't care, but I know you really do. I know what is really true. You're just a tool who thinks he's so cool. And so we'll find out you're a fool.

SPEAKER_00 0:27

Alright, punks, drunks, and skunks. Turn that sound up loud enough for the neighbors to hear. This is the misplaced punk show with your host, Brody. So grab a beer and let's go back to the bottom.

unknown 1:37

We got back the backstory. We are right on the middle of the fire.

SPEAKER_01 2:04

Hey, welcome once again to the Misplaced Punk Show. As always, I am your host, Brody. And like the last uh episode, this is another pre-recorded. Uh as you listen to this, I will have been back from my cruise and preparing to head on out to Iowa City. So, but I want to make sure everyone got the news. Because I've got a new band to uh play for you on this episode. Uh they were uh well I think I got permission in between recording the episode uh the last one and this one. So I cannot wait to play them. I think you'll love them. So let's get into it. Our intro this week was from Hunts, and that was Ladies Man. We started off with the Gilrods and Black Shoot, and that is from Waiting to Die. Now, uh since recording the last episode, some interesting things have happened. Uh the game three between the Knicks and first place. And if you watch well, it's been a while now before you're hearing this, but uh our deer orange paper and she's got food. It was a great thing to see. I loved it. Uh hopefully, I don't know what's gonna happen, you know, the outcome of the series. I just like that new word boodem. And they uh look like they protested or they gathered outside of an hour and let them have it there as well. It was pretty interesting. Uh anyway, like I was gonna left the three 150, 151 and this one. Try to play different bands and I don't want to repeat any different bands at all. All these will be different. So we're gonna continue on right now we're gonna first set first off with 1677 and everything will evade right here on this place.

Nothing makes sense.

SPEAKER_03 4:25

All the things you never did, all the things you never knew All the things you never did, all the things you never will Do you like to pay me, baby? Do you wanna change me? Change me. Do you think I'm free today, baby? I'm gonna leave you, baby.

SPEAKER_09 5:03

Well, I don't know any different, but I know we're not saying dress up nice and always be the singer.

SPEAKER_03 8:01

Well, this box, it doesn't fit me. We're tired of climate.

SPEAKER_06 8:21

I want to hear it.

SPEAKER_03 8:25

I want to hear it. I want to see it. We want to let it go, but we can't forget what we know. We need some hideous. But we base them all on how we felt at the time. Your eyes are glowing. I want to show you more, but I'm waking up on a stranger's floor, it's a light, knowing that you can't have fun. And it's taken. Is this a light? Is this a fridge? It's just an oldest time, and it's taken. The most time to sing the sadest for everyone. I wanna see your face when the light goes out. I wanna walk the bad to make it different. The only way that I don't have the boys, knowing that you can't have a lot of fun. What it's worth, I'll never find a word. Why do you die? Knowing that you can I wanna see your face. Why do I still have? I wanna walk the eye to make a difference. The only way that I don't have the voice, knowing that you can't have both the most, knowing that you can't have both. On the block to the bus stop in Moscow Say hello to the cap in the hallway. Take a seat in class, class, we play. Not the clock we drill, that's what we do. And the kids say no. Yeah, that's not what we did. And the kids say no. The black dance got a go. Yeah, that's not what we need to know, all in the same sun. Stay clear out the door in the wind. Keep a little noise from yourself. Just watch the park until they all play yourself. Keep saying no. The last time's gonna go. All the face and the control. And the kids say no. They've got a go. All the face and the control. Let's stop one win.

SPEAKER_01 15:51

We start off with six and seventy seven. From key approved line six. Followed by decline the decline. We can't have both from uh key approved line five. We finished with territories and their single The Lockdown. I don't think I've uh played too many from uh key records as of late. If I should. Great stuff. Great label out of Australia. Uh let's uh continue with a band that I can't believe I haven't played. I don't think I've played them at all so far. This is episode 152. Uh it's one of those bands that every time you uh have a list, someone will always say, Where is stiff little fingers? I have I don't think I've played them yet, but this is uh from their nineteen eighty album. Uh Nobody's Heroes.

SPEAKER_03 16:54

SPEAKER_01 29:53

Start off with stiff little fingers and tin soldiers from Nobody's Heroes. Like I said, that is from 1980. Then we had two from a compilation called Bristol Pop Post Punk Explosion, 1978 to 1982. We had uh Creature Beat with She Won't Dance, followed by Fish Food and Modern Dance Craze. We finished the set with Ian Drury and the Blockheads with Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll from their album New Boots and Panties. Now uh try to remember, I believe that song was banned. I actually don't know why, probably because it says uh sex and drugs and rock and roll. And at the time, I'm not really sure when I'm this late 70s, so you know, British censors could have been a little more strict. I mean, we all know about the the movies they censored, just the cover art. So uh, and this is pre-Titanic panic. So uh they got the crazy shit out of the way first, and then it came over here and we lost our fucking minds. But you know. Anyways, uh let's continue with some classic punk. Uh, another band I have not played, um, surprisingly. This is off, and time's not on your side right here on Miss Plays Punk Show.

SPEAKER_12 33:49

I just can't take my fall as a question. I'm going on my head, and I've got another question. I gotta go up for a war, I gotta sit down and I don't talk, the rusky out with the rest of the wide. Have you ever seen go back time? Bunnies, but this, but this is pressure, but this, but this, but this is pressure, I think, even walking, hey, I love this, alley, alleys, alley, alleys, allez, paris, parce que practice, parce que praya, line in the cells is really now fun, helping the bricks, running some tricks, we know the question I've done in our life, everything that really is.

SPEAKER_13 36:47

We're gonna fucking die. But I'm still on our road. I'm not gonna try to test up, we're not gonna try to sit up, we're not gonna try to sit up, we're not done it, we're not done it, don't I? When I want to trust what I got, go now, what I got, when it goes, where do you get it? Follow the road, six stuff, six stuff, give me fingers on the brush, better stop, for a better two, nah, none, nine, nine, none, nine, none, none, nine, none.

SPEAKER_03 38:32

And we finished with 999 and Custer's Last Stand from the album 13th floor madness. That was uh 1983. So most of these albums I've been playing are classic.
