Uh so of course tomorrow back to the city grindstone. But uh at least we got some tunes to listen to. Uh maybe get a mind off our mind-nummy jobs, or I mean you may like the job, but I don't know. Maybe crazy. Uh I don't know. Um, but yeah, see what's going on. Uh we got some new band. Uh got some sad tribute. Uh two birthday tribute. Uh yeah, of course we lost two people this week. I'll get into that a little bit later. Uh anyway, yeah. That's what's going on over here. Uh let's just get into it. We started off with Magic Park and No Mercy. And that was our intro. Or yeah. And then we started off with Agnostic Front and Crying Without the Fin on our album 128. I believe that was 92. Um I was just thinking about this earlier. There's those people who basically think for some reason the odds have no timeline. But I only hear about people who know. When was the best era of punk was the late 70s? Was it the 80s? Was it the 90s? I personally my favorite was the 90s, because that's when I mean I turned 13 in December of 89. So the early 90s was when I really got into music and on my own. Start with music. Skate punk and hip-hop and uh eventually grind an alternative and you know that, you know, such and such. But uh what's your thoughts? Just play punk at coton.md. Let me know. What's your favorite band? Anyone I'm missing or forgetting about. I mean, there's so many bands I'm probably forgetting about some because I was not into the early 80s hardcore scene. Um, I caught up later on, so I I know there's bands I missed out on. Um of course I think I've mentioned it. Minor Threat was the first one I heard. So to me, that's my favorite. What's your favorite? Let me know. Um, the first set. It's a band that basically sounds like uh the 80s, I think. They have that feel. I think they're one of the tags is uh 77, I believe. I'm not sure. All the way from Australia. A band that I have not heard from anything recently. But uh I hope I hope they're still together. Hope we're thinking about new music, but uh three albums. Dead Pioneers for brand new album Wagon Burner that was you know $30 but that just came out so that makes sense that they would have I mean they only had one copy unfortunately but I am in uh Tennessee so we're not really a punk area even though Nashville does have some underground bands and some clubs and stuff but uh that's not near me. But anyways I'm ranting again I'm sorry um let's just get right to the next set another great band uh I say that because they sent me all their vinyl and I love it and it's all good. So I'm gonna play one from uh the album because I love the title geeked up.

Night of the Living Dead is one of the greatest movies periods of all time. I love it. Uh all that was courtesy of my cousin. If you want to go check his stuff out, he has uh Monster Maniacs. Uh mainly uh they start off with you and moving him and his partner Todd Claire Wilson, who's a uh director. But he also does a segment of factors for going to where he also plays music. And uh he's coming on to Molly Transfer. I love those guys. So and I mean I don't know if you've been seeing it, but I've been seeing a lot of you know putting up Halloween decorations already. So I am all for Halloween. Uh I watch four movies all year round. But uh so those were the good tribute. Now down to the sad tribute. Unfortunately we lost two singers. Well, she's also the basis of L7, of course we talk about Jennifer Finch. That was, I don't know if you were following it on Facebook, I believe, but it seemed like, I want to say just a week ago, they were talking about uh she'd been diagnosed, and they started a GoFundMe to help with all the uh the cost that's gonna go along with that, and then just suddenly a week? Less than a week? I don't even know. She's gone. Very sad. Uh I remember L7 from the early 90s, but uh they started in '88. I'm gonna play four songs from them, each one that she was a part of. She departed in '96. I think she wrote one song for their last album. I don't know if she's on the whole album, I'm not 100% sure. Alright, four new bands this week. Started off with a hangout. And Forever Never from Love Me or Commit. Then we had Kabas with uh Kudor, uh Coup d'Emas. They were from Brescure, France. Uh we had another French band, Ron Curr. First we had uh Mars 1906, then Lay Ah man, and passion, I believe. They are from Nancy, France. Oh, and the album is called Facial Light. Uh we finish Oh, sorry, we did not finish. We had Born in 69, which is a sounds, it's well the the logo for the uh the cover is the skinhead logo. So immediately I assume they are I guess the French version of uh Tutone. They kind of have uh it's almost like a modern twist on classic scar. It's kinda hard to say, but we had Moon Hop and Alcapone, both from uh the This is crazy 50th anniversary! 50th year anniversary, which is like that can't be right. These dudes are been on for 50 years. This is crazy. Hold on. I'm gonna pull up uh the record label, also out of uh France. I don't know how I came up with all these French bands all at once. Uh Trouille Records. I think that's how you say it. T-R-O-U number two, D-A-L-L-E, Toubalet record. Um there's a bunch of good stuff on there. I just like I said, I just picked born in 69 because of the the cover. But anyways. That should do it for another episode. I hope I didn't butcher my French too much. I am French a little bit. Uh my last name is French. So there was actually a band in that same label that has the French spelling of my name. So that was kind of weird.
