Tasting Heaven, Touching Earth - Pastor Eddie Cole
What if thinking more about heaven actually made you more effective on earth?
In "Tasting Heaven Touching Earth," our pastor challenges the common notion that being "so heavenly minded means you're no earthly good." Drawing from Jesus' words in John 14, this message reveals how our perspective on eternity directly impacts our present reality.
After Easter's celebration of Christ's resurrection, we're invited to consider what Jesus told His disciples before His crucifixion. Using the cultural context of ancient Near Eastern marriage customs, our pastor unpacks Jesus' promise: "In my Father's house are many rooms... I am going to prepare a place for you." This isn't just poetic language—it's a bridegroom's covenant promise to return for His bride.
Three transformative truths emerge from this teaching:

Finally, an eternal perspective fuels our service. When ministry becomes exhausting or discouragement sets in, remembering our eternal destination renews our strength and purpose.
