00:00:00.462 --> 00:00:11.141
This is Revive All with Oasis City Church Columbus, featuring pastors Bill Demillares and Adam Stewart So I want you to grab your Bible today, and I want you to make a confession over the Word.

00:00:11.141 --> 00:00:11.711
Are you ready?

00:00:12.051 --> 00:00:18.361
Hold up your phone if your Bible, if you don't have a paper Bible with you, because there is a Bible on that phone, even if you don't use it.

00:00:18.731 --> 00:00:19.472
Uh, it's there.

00:00:19.472 --> 00:00:22.602
Say,"This is my Bible, and I really love it.

00:00:23.632 --> 00:00:25.312
These are more than words in print.

00:00:26.251 --> 00:00:27.681
These are living words.

00:00:28.382 --> 00:00:32.262
These are God's words, and I'll never be the same.

00:00:33.051 --> 00:00:38.152
In fact, today, in just a moment, my life Is being changed.

00:00:38.671 --> 00:00:43.712
My mind is being renewed because of God's Word." Amen.

00:00:43.712 --> 00:00:45.161
If you believe it, say amen.

00:00:45.161 --> 00:00:45.692
Amen.

00:00:45.692 --> 00:00:46.301
Yeah.

00:00:46.722 --> 00:00:53.311
Well, I was, um, really happy to be here, um, you know, today and preach two weeks in a row, uh, which was wonderful.

00:00:53.311 --> 00:01:03.351
And last week, of course, was, you know, hot off of the, uh, July 4th, uh, celebration and the anniversary of the United States, 250 years, our birthday.

00:01:03.621 --> 00:01:10.281
And so we just began to, to, uh, pray for our nation, but also, uh, talk about how God has moved in our nation over the years.

00:01:10.281 --> 00:01:18.992
And as for many, uh, for as much bloodshed and terrible things that's happened in our nation, um, there's also been great moves of God over time.

00:01:19.292 --> 00:01:26.251
And, and it's important for the church today to realize that God has moved so, so we can ask Him to do it again.

00:01:26.441 --> 00:01:32.902
Uh, the prophet Habakkuk said,"Lord, we, we recognize, uh, what You've done before.

00:01:33.012 --> 00:01:33.941
We fear You.

00:01:33.951 --> 00:01:36.992
We, we are in awe of You," he says.

00:01:37.212 --> 00:01:45.371
And, and then he said,"And help us in our na- in our need again." How many of you know that we need God?

00:01:46.328 --> 00:01:47.617
Our nation has needs.

00:01:47.837 --> 00:01:50.397
And he says,"Help us in our need again.

00:01:50.487 --> 00:01:51.977
Do it again, Lord.

00:01:52.808 --> 00:02:00.188
Do it again, Lord." And so however you've moved in the past, we're not just looking for an old move of God, we're looking for a fresh move of God.

00:02:00.227 --> 00:02:01.748
But we want revival.

00:02:01.847 --> 00:02:04.378
But we don't just want a visitation from the Lord.

00:02:04.537 --> 00:02:09.467
We want, we, we seek that, but we desperately need transformation.

00:02:10.448 --> 00:02:13.598
And then from transformation, we desperately need reformation.

00:02:14.038 --> 00:02:22.177
And that's, that's what true revival looks like, not just, not just warm, fuzzy feelings, not just you having great worship and crying at the altar.

00:02:22.268 --> 00:02:26.198
I mean, these are good things, but we need transformation in our lives.

00:02:26.407 --> 00:02:29.068
And then we need transformation to go beyond us.

00:02:29.268 --> 00:02:31.437
It needs to go beyond us to our family.

00:02:31.687 --> 00:02:33.737
It needs to go into our communities.

00:02:33.867 --> 00:02:35.388
It needs to go into our school systems.

00:02:35.538 --> 00:02:43.018
It needs to keep going, and that needs to bring reformation to our cities, our policies, the school system, uh, all of those things.

00:02:43.018 --> 00:02:46.737
We need reformation, uh, in our government, in, in our laws.

00:02:46.768 --> 00:03:09.713
We need righteousness, uh, to, to be, um, a beacon of hope for the lost, and it starts with the church So last week's title was Revival Can Change a Nation, and part two this week is Revival Can Change a Nation: Can God Trust Us?

00:03:10.794 --> 00:03:13.644
Can God trust us?

00:03:14.493 --> 00:03:19.584
You are familiar with the statement,"In God we trust," right?

00:03:19.984 --> 00:03:26.954
Just grab any piece of currency, uh, and you'll see,"In God we trust." It's the official motto of the United States.

00:03:26.954 --> 00:03:31.493
The US Senate, uh, and the, and US Congress, I mean, adopted it in 1956.

00:03:33.413 --> 00:03:41.033
It replaced E Pluribus Unum, um, and, and, uh, we see it on, on all currency.

00:03:41.033 --> 00:03:43.114
You see it on government buildings.

00:03:43.114 --> 00:03:44.394
In God we trust.

00:03:44.454 --> 00:03:46.443
Now, it wasn't just formulated in 1956.

00:03:47.424 --> 00:03:52.144
Actually, it was first, uh, printed in 1864, uh, in God we trust.

00:03:52.144 --> 00:03:59.413
And so that, that statement has been on coins and has been on dollar bills and has been throughout our nation.

00:03:59.584 --> 00:04:04.204
And so we are familiar with that, but, but is God able to trust us?

00:04:06.800 --> 00:04:11.849
Because he wants to partner with his people to bring heaven to Earth.

00:04:12.919 --> 00:04:14.430
He doesn't just move sovereignly.

00:04:14.430 --> 00:04:14.969
He can.

00:04:15.110 --> 00:04:16.649
He just doesn't move in his providence.

00:04:16.649 --> 00:04:17.250
He can.

00:04:17.449 --> 00:04:19.740
But revival is not just a sovereign move of God.

00:04:19.889 --> 00:04:25.910
It's a partnership with heaven because when he does move, he wants to know if he can trust us to allow that to continue.

00:04:27.139 --> 00:04:29.180
What are you gonna do with the move of God?

00:04:29.800 --> 00:04:41.279
And this is what God has, over the centuries of human history, throughout the Word, and throughout many revivals all across the globe, this is the question: What does God's people do with the move of God?

00:04:41.560 --> 00:04:42.649
Do we shut it down?

00:04:42.660 --> 00:04:43.639
Do we embrace it?

00:04:43.850 --> 00:04:44.889
Do we pass it on?

00:04:45.089 --> 00:04:46.660
Do we just say,"Oh, that was nice"?

00:04:47.720 --> 00:04:49.579
God wants to trust us.

00:04:49.750 --> 00:04:52.420
The question is not can God send revival.

00:04:53.629 --> 00:04:55.699
The question is can he trust us with revival?

00:04:58.586 --> 00:05:08.675
And, and there's been many, uh, revivals all across the world, and, uh, I wanna talk a little bit about this transformation that needs to take place within the Body of Christ.

00:05:08.706 --> 00:05:14.446
The first perspective is this: Revival must produce holiness.

00:05:15.425 --> 00:05:19.396
Revival must produce holiness.

00:05:19.396 --> 00:05:38.196
Look with me, um, in 1 Peter 1:15,"But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written,'You shall be holy, for I am holy.'" Woo! Now that's a statement right there.

00:05:38.346 --> 00:05:58.387
I think one of the greatest dangers is confusing God's presence with God's approval It's dangerous to confuse that because He's present because He's faithful He's faithful to every generation.

00:05:58.778 --> 00:06:12.757
And he says,"Where two or more gather, I will be present." But just because he's present doesn't mean he's approving what's going on Doesn't mean that he's approving what you did last night just because you're in church this morning.

00:06:14.358 --> 00:06:20.747
And, and don't get it twisted, because revival must produce holinesses, holiness in our lives.

00:06:20.788 --> 00:06:24.478
Remember, Israel had the Ark of the Covenant, the presence of God.

00:06:24.507 --> 00:06:25.677
It traveled with them.

00:06:25.677 --> 00:06:30.497
They ha- they had to care for the presence a certain way, but yet they also lived in rebellion.

00:06:31.137 --> 00:06:35.117
Just because they had the presence doesn't mean that they had holy living.

00:06:36.247 --> 00:06:51.254
You can have the presence and rebellion at the same time Be holy yourselves in all your behavior because it's written,"Be holy'cause I'm holy." Woo.

00:06:51.524 --> 00:06:53.223
In all of your behavior.

00:06:53.553 --> 00:06:55.223
He cares about your behavior.

00:06:56.213 --> 00:06:57.374
Now, here's the good thing.

00:06:57.884 --> 00:07:04.113
You can be holy because you already are the righteousness of God in Christ because of the cross.

00:07:04.314 --> 00:07:06.413
So you're forgiven and you're made righteous.

00:07:06.624 --> 00:07:08.494
Because of the cross, you're justified.

00:07:08.644 --> 00:07:10.824
You don't ever have to be justified again.

00:07:10.824 --> 00:07:12.403
Justification is a one-time thing.

00:07:12.564 --> 00:07:13.954
Jesus did it on the cross.

00:07:13.954 --> 00:07:20.124
If you accept him and you accept his sacrifice, you believe him, you are now born again and you are justified.

00:07:20.314 --> 00:07:26.033
But sanctification is a lifetime process, and you are becoming more saved.

00:07:26.644 --> 00:07:29.124
You, you can, you can become more saved.

00:07:29.363 --> 00:07:35.113
And, and let the fear of the Lord, let salvation come to you each and every day, more and more and more and more and more.

00:07:35.113 --> 00:07:42.863
You're saved, but then you can become even more sanctified in your life, and that's why it says,"All of your behavior." So here's the key.

00:07:42.923 --> 00:07:56.271
What he's saying is, you're righteous on the inside, so let it out Let your inside affect your outward life.

00:07:57.322 --> 00:07:59.362
That's why be holy in all behavior.

00:07:59.362 --> 00:08:00.271
I can't do it.

00:08:00.271 --> 00:08:00.961
It's too hard.

00:08:00.961 --> 00:08:04.252
Yeah, it's too hard, so you can't do it on your own strength.

00:08:04.312 --> 00:08:08.291
You have to have the righteousness of God in you, and let it out.

00:08:10.101 --> 00:08:10.911
Walk it out.

00:08:10.911 --> 00:08:12.732
Walk out your righteousness.

00:08:12.791 --> 00:08:16.862
Look at, uh, in chapter one, same, 2 Peter, but look at verse three.

00:08:16.872 --> 00:08:22.052
It says,"For His divine power has granted us everything," say everything.

00:08:22.052 --> 00:08:22.482
Everything.

00:08:22.482 --> 00:08:27.802
"Pertaining to life and godliness." His divine power has given you everything you need for godly living.

00:08:28.802 --> 00:08:33.331
"Through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

00:08:33.721 --> 00:08:53.631
Through these, He has granted us His precious, magnificent promises, so that by them you can become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that's in the world on account of lust." Wow, you've escaped corruption in the world.

00:08:54.081 --> 00:08:55.162
You've already escaped it.

00:08:55.162 --> 00:08:57.142
Don't, don't welcome it back in.

00:08:58.552 --> 00:09:01.812
Don't welcome lust of the world back into your life.

00:09:01.942 --> 00:09:03.162
But here's what I love in verse four.

00:09:03.282 --> 00:09:09.812
You, through His glory, through His glory, you and I are partakers of the divine nature.

00:09:10.591 --> 00:09:11.201
Wow.

00:09:11.662 --> 00:09:13.162
I mean, that's amazing.

00:09:14.042 --> 00:09:16.851
Because He loves us so much, He doesn't want separation.

00:09:17.022 --> 00:09:18.442
We carry His glory.

00:09:18.711 --> 00:09:20.481
We have knowledge of how to live.

00:09:20.591 --> 00:09:23.292
You have everything you need for godly living.

00:09:23.302 --> 00:09:24.052
That's what He said.

00:09:24.231 --> 00:09:32.741
You have everything you need for godly living, and you and I are welcome to partake of the divine.

00:09:34.581 --> 00:09:38.402
I mean, you can choose not to, though.

00:09:42.361 --> 00:09:53.138
And then complain that your life s- sucks But even when your life sucks, you still need the divine in your life'cause He makes all things beautiful.

00:09:53.548 --> 00:09:55.107
He can turn it around.

00:09:55.378 --> 00:09:58.697
He takes ashes, and He gives beauty.

00:09:59.847 --> 00:09:59.878
Yeah.

00:10:00.087 --> 00:10:05.788
He takes broken, torn apart things, and puts them together again.

00:10:07.628 --> 00:10:11.028
He gives beauty for ashes.

00:10:11.038 --> 00:10:11.057
Yeah.

00:10:11.738 --> 00:10:18.048
He's the only one able to do it, and His divine power has granted you everything you need to live a godly life.

00:10:18.197 --> 00:10:21.168
Don't let the enemy fool you.

00:10:22.298 --> 00:10:23.368
But he doesn't just stop there.

00:10:23.378 --> 00:10:33.868
Verse five, six, and seven, look how brilliantly, beautifully, um, this, these three verses stack on top of each other and create something amazing.

00:10:34.238 --> 00:10:41.998
Verse five,"Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence in your faith," say faith.

00:10:41.998 --> 00:10:42.518
Faith.

00:10:42.518 --> 00:10:44.268
When you're diligent, watch what happens.

00:10:44.658 --> 00:10:50.567
"In your faith, supply moral excellence." We, Lord, we need more moral excellence, don't we?

00:10:51.707 --> 00:10:53.817
In your moral excellence, knowledge.

00:10:54.258 --> 00:10:56.357
In your knowledge, self-control.

00:10:56.618 --> 00:10:58.807
In your self-control, perseverance.

00:10:58.967 --> 00:11:00.898
In your perseverance, godliness.

00:11:01.087 --> 00:11:03.788
And in your godliness, brotherly kindness.

00:11:03.998 --> 00:11:06.658
And in your brotherly kindness, love.

00:11:06.658 --> 00:11:14.405
Woo! You are partakers of divine nature, not just for your own good.

00:11:15.446 --> 00:11:34.179
It's so that you can be on a journey that now is creating something that ultimately leads to love He says,"Faith supplies moral excellence." We need that in our churches.

00:11:34.580 --> 00:11:35.720
We need it in our nation.

00:11:36.519 --> 00:11:41.389
The body of Christ should be excellent with m- moral things.

00:11:42.289 --> 00:11:45.490
But it doesn't stop there because that leads to knowledge.

00:11:45.759 --> 00:11:47.159
We need to know how to live.

00:11:47.159 --> 00:11:48.710
We need to know the word.

00:11:48.710 --> 00:11:50.460
We need to know the answers.

00:11:50.460 --> 00:11:55.539
We need to know what to do in situations of, of, of destruction and turmoil.

00:11:55.539 --> 00:11:57.000
You need to have answers.

00:11:57.330 --> 00:11:58.230
So we need knowledge.

00:11:58.230 --> 00:12:01.840
So it leads to that, but then knowledge goes to self-control.

00:12:02.149 --> 00:12:03.299
Hello, somebody.

00:12:03.379 --> 00:12:11.898
You're gonna need self-control at lunch today But what does self-control give you?

00:12:11.918 --> 00:12:15.398
It leads to perseverance, meaning it's not a one-time thing.

00:12:15.508 --> 00:12:16.467
You can persevere.

00:12:16.477 --> 00:12:17.498
You can make it through.

00:12:17.628 --> 00:12:19.638
When you get tempted, you have self-control now.

00:12:19.638 --> 00:12:23.418
It's not a one time because you keep using self-control, using it, using it, using it.

00:12:23.628 --> 00:12:25.518
Now, when you're tempted, you have perseverance.

00:12:25.518 --> 00:12:28.508
You can make it through the temptation all the way.

00:12:30.327 --> 00:12:38.070
And then that leads to godliness This perseverance leads to godliness.

00:12:38.240 --> 00:12:38.759
But what?

00:12:38.860 --> 00:12:40.289
It doesn't just end with godliness.

00:12:40.649 --> 00:12:44.179
It, that leads to brotherly kindness.

00:12:44.669 --> 00:12:47.590
Man, we need more kindness.

00:12:48.600 --> 00:12:49.590
We really do.

00:12:50.169 --> 00:12:51.690
I mean, Christians can be mean.

00:12:53.580 --> 00:12:55.500
I mean, just downright mean to one another.

00:12:56.909 --> 00:13:00.360
And what does kindness, more kindness brings you to love.

00:13:01.610 --> 00:13:04.240
We need to love each other better.

00:13:05.179 --> 00:13:07.850
We need to love the Lord better.

00:13:08.580 --> 00:13:12.149
Holiness isn't perfection, it's just becoming more like Jesus.

00:13:13.039 --> 00:13:20.240
And revival isn't just God visiting you, revival is God changing you, and you carrying it forward.

00:13:20.679 --> 00:13:27.220
It reminded me of, you know, s- I talked a little bit about moves of God last week, I'll mention a couple, uh, again today.

00:13:27.399 --> 00:13:36.600
But the Welsh Revival, again, it's just one that's been dear on my heart, and, and Brother, um, Evan Roberts, who was a young coal miner, who gets saved and became a preacher.

00:13:37.029 --> 00:13:46.600
And in two years, this nation of Wales was changed dramatically because of his, um, uh, be- be- because of that conversion.

00:13:46.860 --> 00:13:54.230
But here's what happened in the Welsh Revival, if you, if you weren't here last week, uh, I mentioned that it, it drastically changed the nation.

00:13:54.470 --> 00:14:02.309
And, and Evan would preach in one church, and then he would literally, when it was over, he'd go across the street, there'd be another church filled with people already, and he would preach there.

00:14:02.470 --> 00:14:08.480
Then he'd go down the street, there would be people standing in the streets, and they're ready to preach, uh, ready to hear the word, and he would preach.

00:14:08.500 --> 00:14:09.840
And people were just praying.

00:14:09.850 --> 00:14:11.580
There was just a revival in the streets.

00:14:11.730 --> 00:14:13.220
There was a revival in, in...

00:14:13.259 --> 00:14:17.659
And it caught on in a community, literally changed the community, and then impacted the nation.

00:14:17.919 --> 00:14:22.539
And in this coal mining town, um, what would happen, it, it was very impoverished.

00:14:22.570 --> 00:14:24.929
The pe- the families were very poor.

00:14:25.259 --> 00:14:41.580
And, and one of the main reasons they were poor was because the dads would work all day, then they would leave work, and instead of going home, instead of getting their paycheck and going home and providing for their family, on the way they would go to the tavern, and they would spend their earnings in the tavern.

00:14:41.580 --> 00:14:43.870
They would drink them away, eat them away.

00:14:44.090 --> 00:14:54.059
Um, and then they would get home and the, the, the wives didn't have enough, uh, uh, you know, produce in the, in the pantry, and the kids were eating bread.

00:14:54.059 --> 00:14:55.879
And I mean, you can see all this, it was documented.

00:14:56.070 --> 00:14:59.500
There was a lot of, uh, you know, poverty and, and malnourishment and such.

00:14:59.639 --> 00:15:02.690
Well, what happened in the revival, all these coal miners started getting saved.

00:15:02.889 --> 00:15:07.529
And then when they got saved, they bypassed the tavern, uh, on their way home.

00:15:07.529 --> 00:15:10.940
A- and so now taverns were closing'cause they didn't have enough work.

00:15:11.059 --> 00:15:14.850
And the men would bring their money home, and now they're buying food for their kids.

00:15:14.850 --> 00:15:17.519
And so now the grocery stores are making money.

00:15:17.519 --> 00:15:20.179
Instead of closing, now they, they're earning money.

00:15:20.279 --> 00:15:26.000
And the kids, instead of going to the hospitals, the k- the hospitals are emptying because the kids aren't malnourished anymore.

00:15:26.149 --> 00:15:27.620
And marriages were put back together.

00:15:27.620 --> 00:15:30.240
See, revival isn't just feeling God in the street.

00:15:30.429 --> 00:15:42.285
It transforms your community And there's a whole lot of great stories out there, and I'm sure a few of them are embellished, but one particular story, it's very true though, you could look back.

00:15:42.436 --> 00:15:49.145
So the miners used horses and mules and such to do their, their labor, uh, these beasts of burden.

00:15:49.346 --> 00:15:51.946
And so, um, the, the...

00:15:52.225 --> 00:16:04.086
What was said with, with this behavior change, because they got born again, Spirit-filled, their behavior started changing, their language changed, and so they stopped cussing so much.

00:16:04.426 --> 00:16:05.676
But here was a problem.

00:16:05.865 --> 00:16:10.895
What the problem was the horses didn't understand the new language.

00:16:11.885 --> 00:16:15.975
They didn't follow the commands anymore because the commands didn't have four-letter words in them.

00:16:16.145 --> 00:16:18.316
The horses only knew the bad words.

00:16:18.475 --> 00:16:19.836
They didn't know the good words.

00:16:19.936 --> 00:16:24.875
And so it, it literally, the, the whole horse community needed to be retrained.

00:16:25.105 --> 00:16:25.905
Imagine that.

00:16:25.916 --> 00:16:27.375
That's what revival does.

00:16:27.546 --> 00:16:29.905
It changes you from the inside out.

00:16:30.005 --> 00:16:31.605
Your behavior begins to change.

00:16:31.605 --> 00:16:33.916
The way you treat your brothers and sisters begin to change.

00:16:33.916 --> 00:16:35.946
The way you treat your own children begin to change.

00:16:36.096 --> 00:16:38.155
The way you spend your money changes.

00:16:39.865 --> 00:16:42.025
We need more of that, Lord, in our community.

00:16:42.035 --> 00:16:42.535
Amen?

00:16:45.456 --> 00:16:51.076
The miners changed so completely that their work environment is what noticed it.

00:16:51.086 --> 00:16:52.535
Thousands were converted.

00:16:53.046 --> 00:17:10.448
It was, it was just an amazing time because here's the thing, I think true holiness is when your coworkers notice your change rather than your pastor I should be one of the last people that recognize you're different.

00:17:11.167 --> 00:17:15.518
It should be your coworkers that,"Man, something's different about you." It should be your wife.

00:17:15.518 --> 00:17:26.938
It should be your kids,"Daddy's different." And then the pastor,'cause y'all know how to act in church, but I don't know how you were acting on Friday So, so that's what holiness is.

00:17:27.458 --> 00:17:39.178
The people around you recognize,"I'm different now because God has touched my life." The greatest evidence of revival wasn't what happened in the church, it was what happened on Monday morning.

00:17:39.958 --> 00:17:42.298
That's evidence that you are changed.

00:17:44.167 --> 00:17:49.567
So re- revival requires holiness, but revival also requires repentance.

00:17:50.958 --> 00:17:53.357
There is no revival without true repentance.

00:17:53.867 --> 00:17:56.407
We often want awakening without repentance.

00:17:56.758 --> 00:17:59.637
Uh, but the Bible never separates the two.

00:18:00.528 --> 00:18:03.478
All the moves of God through the scripture, the church needs to repent.

00:18:03.478 --> 00:18:07.228
James 4:8-10.

00:18:07.228 --> 00:18:10.188
We typically know the first line and we know the last line.

00:18:10.198 --> 00:18:13.988
We like them, but the in-between part is kinda ouch.

00:18:13.998 --> 00:18:14.018
Yeah.

00:18:14.538 --> 00:18:15.067
Watch.

00:18:15.647 --> 00:18:21.428
Romans 4:8,"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." Oh, what a promise.

00:18:22.077 --> 00:18:22.718
It's amazing.

00:18:22.728 --> 00:18:25.788
We sing songs, you know, draw, draw me closer.

00:18:26.008 --> 00:18:28.768
You know, come- Draw near to God, He'll draw near to you.

00:18:29.307 --> 00:18:34.458
"Cleanse your hands, you sinners." Hello, there's a wake-up.

00:18:35.057 --> 00:18:37.137
"Purify your hearts, you double-minded.

00:18:37.877 --> 00:18:39.688
Be wretched and mourn and weep.

00:18:39.917 --> 00:18:42.798
Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom.

00:18:42.917 --> 00:18:48.528
Humble yourself before the Lord and He will exalt you." We like the last line.

00:18:48.688 --> 00:18:50.198
We like the exalted part.

00:18:50.347 --> 00:18:51.347
Yes, Lord, exalt me.

00:18:51.458 --> 00:18:53.518
Draw near to God, draw near and He'll draw near to you.

00:18:53.538 --> 00:18:56.178
Oh, that sounds great, you filthy sinner.

00:18:56.198 --> 00:18:56.218
Yeah.

00:18:57.317 --> 00:18:57.948
Repent.

00:18:59.147 --> 00:18:59.728
Weep.

00:19:00.028 --> 00:19:00.417
Mourn.

00:19:00.417 --> 00:19:04.008
Now, I could see if that was in the Old Testament, there's lots of that.

00:19:04.008 --> 00:19:04.907
This is James.

00:19:04.907 --> 00:19:06.107
This is the New Testament.

00:19:06.448 --> 00:19:08.018
Where's he getting this from?

00:19:08.367 --> 00:19:10.917
And this is why James is, uh, you know, so unique.

00:19:11.258 --> 00:19:17.708
A- and in the Book of James, you see it's kind of like Old Testament framework with new covenant promise.

00:19:17.928 --> 00:19:25.567
So James is a very disciplined, uh, author, he's a disciplined writer, and it's still the very inspired word of God.

00:19:25.877 --> 00:19:29.597
And so what happens is, see, see, it sounds like John wrote the first line.

00:19:29.788 --> 00:19:32.867
"Draw near to God and He'll draw near to you." That's something John would write.

00:19:33.387 --> 00:19:37.647
You know, he's the one that, that, that, that he thinks Jesus loved the most.

00:19:38.018 --> 00:19:42.498
You know, he, he, he's the one who understands the love of God, and I love reading John.

00:19:42.498 --> 00:19:48.897
As a matter of fact, we're gonna be doing a series coming up in the next few weeks on I, II, and III John called How's Your Love Life?

00:19:50.208 --> 00:19:51.647
I'm gonna be talking about your love life.

00:19:51.688 --> 00:19:52.988
I'm gonna be right in your ear.

00:19:56.271 --> 00:20:08.051
But, but James, uh, uh, it's like James is giving us truth that we need to recognize ourself, that in order to be in God's presence, we can't allow sin in our life.

00:20:08.402 --> 00:20:09.561
We need to repent.

00:20:10.951 --> 00:20:12.862
We need to mourn for our mistakes.

00:20:13.432 --> 00:20:37.470
We need to, we need to have joy, but you need to mourn, you need to weep sometimes over what you've done or haven't done that's been sin in your life so that you can humble yourself before the Lord so He will exalt you We don't need political repentance or, or some type of newspaper repentance.

00:20:37.480 --> 00:20:39.349
We need personal repentance.

00:20:40.140 --> 00:20:42.230
We need corporate body of Christ repentance.

00:20:42.279 --> 00:20:44.099
We need national repentance.

00:20:45.009 --> 00:20:53.009
One of the most famous sermons ever preached really in the United States was f- first preached on July 8th, 1741.

00:20:53.009 --> 00:20:59.309
July 8th, that's just last week, 1741, by Jonathan Edwards in the First Great Awakening.

00:20:59.940 --> 00:21:04.849
But the title of the message was Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.

00:21:05.690 --> 00:21:06.539
Many of you know that.

00:21:07.079 --> 00:21:11.700
S- now, that doesn't s- that doesn't sound like one of Bill's sermon titles, you know?

00:21:11.940 --> 00:21:23.960
But, but And it sounds harsh, and it sounds l- l- like all, you know, wow, that's rough, sinners in the hand But you gotta realize that Jonathan didn't have a microphone and, and he didn't have all these giant churches.

00:21:23.960 --> 00:21:33.390
He was, he was in corn fields and in, in, in communities, and he's preaching to the wicked people in the, in the town that weren't the churchgoers.

00:21:33.509 --> 00:21:35.319
And he was saying,"You need to repent.

00:21:35.490 --> 00:21:37.309
Your sin leads to death.

00:21:37.339 --> 00:21:38.180
You need to repent.

00:21:38.329 --> 00:21:39.359
Hell is real.

00:21:39.430 --> 00:21:41.299
You need to turn your life over to Jesus.

00:21:41.640 --> 00:21:46.480
God is angry wi- with what sin has done in the Earth." And this is in 1741.

00:21:46.670 --> 00:21:54.509
And he would preach it, and there was a mass move of God of repentance, and it swept all across the colonies at the time.

00:21:54.930 --> 00:21:56.319
But here's the interesting thing.

00:21:56.660 --> 00:22:01.730
He was not known for his, his orator skills.

00:22:01.930 --> 00:22:06.369
He wasn't known for being, um, a, a preacher of preachers.

00:22:07.519 --> 00:22:16.453
He, he wrote the sermon word for word, and he stood, and he read it And I've, I've read the sermon.

00:22:16.453 --> 00:22:17.713
You can get it online, you can see it.

00:22:17.943 --> 00:22:22.003
It's, it's one of the m- most preached sermons at, in those days.

00:22:22.693 --> 00:22:36.884
And he would just, he, he wasn't famous for his style of preaching, but God was on his words, and he would just read it, read the scripture, and there would be massive amount of people weeping and wailing in repentance under the Lord.

00:22:37.763 --> 00:22:40.794
That's a move of God, whether you like the title or not.

00:22:42.794 --> 00:22:45.624
It said that there would be people under tents and poles.

00:22:45.773 --> 00:22:57.692
They would be holding onto the poles just weeping profusely Just needing to hold onto something because they realized that they needed a born-again experience.

00:22:58.122 --> 00:23:03.422
We need a revival like that again,'cause we think revivals are emotional preachers.

00:23:04.451 --> 00:23:08.531
Like, the more emo- and I'm an emotional preacher, you know, I'm, I'm all that.

00:23:09.211 --> 00:23:10.582
But, but there's something...

00:23:10.672 --> 00:23:31.576
Like, you can do all that, but if God's not on it I mean, some preachers are better comedians than they are'Cause if God's not on it Remember a couple years ago, our theme for the year in 2024 was Psalm 24.

00:23:32.185 --> 00:23:32.605
Remember?

00:23:33.135 --> 00:23:37.605
And the, the thing I said at the end of'23 is we need a Psalm 24 revival.

00:23:38.615 --> 00:23:40.316
We need a Psalm 24 revival.

00:23:40.536 --> 00:23:42.036
God needs to move on that.

00:23:42.036 --> 00:23:46.115
And it doesn't mean that when 2025 came, or 2026, that now we no longer need it.

00:23:46.165 --> 00:23:46.865
We still need it.

00:23:47.036 --> 00:23:50.715
So I'm saying today, we still need a Psalm 24 revival.

00:23:50.715 --> 00:23:56.135
And let's just look at the, a couple verses in Psalm 24, because we spent a whole year in the psalm.

00:23:56.135 --> 00:23:58.556
Remember,"Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?

00:23:59.445 --> 00:24:02.486
Who shall stand in His holy place?" This is the psalmist.

00:24:02.695 --> 00:24:03.885
This is the question.

00:24:04.135 --> 00:24:12.226
Who has the right to be in God's presence, to ascend i, into His presence, and to stand in His holy place?

00:24:12.375 --> 00:24:14.625
And then the answer's given immediately.

00:24:14.925 --> 00:24:16.655
This is who gets to do it.

00:24:17.236 --> 00:24:26.316
"He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully." Wow, clean hands.

00:24:26.316 --> 00:24:27.506
What does James say?

00:24:28.125 --> 00:24:31.316
Wash those hands in the Spirit.

00:24:32.276 --> 00:24:37.155
That's where he, that's where he says,"Cleanse your hands." You need to have clean hands and a pure heart.

00:24:37.155 --> 00:24:37.625
What is that?

00:24:37.625 --> 00:24:39.556
That's the inside and the outside.

00:24:40.185 --> 00:24:44.915
It's, it's you living outside just like you believe on the inside.

00:24:45.046 --> 00:24:48.185
It's your behavior reflecting who you are in Christ.

00:24:48.895 --> 00:24:50.145
Clean hands and a pure heart.

00:24:50.536 --> 00:24:57.486
And what I love is the parallel psalm is Psalm 15, and we, we s- we spent time in Psalm 15 as well.

00:24:57.486 --> 00:24:59.375
And, and I love it in The Message translation.

00:24:59.385 --> 00:25:00.195
You might remember this.

00:25:00.195 --> 00:25:01.885
We, we have a hoodie w- with it on it.

00:25:02.036 --> 00:25:06.965
Psalm 15:1,"God, who gets invited to dinner at Your place?

00:25:07.276 --> 00:25:10.596
How do we get on Your guest list?" Now stop right there.

00:25:10.726 --> 00:25:14.455
Man, that's the same question in Psalm 24, just said a little differently.

00:25:14.875 --> 00:25:19.625
Wouldn't you like to know how you can be on God's dinner guest list?

00:25:21.506 --> 00:25:24.486
Who gets invited to God's dinner?

00:25:25.476 --> 00:25:26.455
Who gets invited?

00:25:26.645 --> 00:25:30.145
What do you ne- how do you need, how do your name get on the list?

00:25:30.465 --> 00:25:35.036
Well, then he answers it, and it's very similar to the answer in Psalm 24.

00:25:35.076 --> 00:25:36.385
Psalm 15, look at it in verse two.

00:25:36.385 --> 00:25:36.746
Ready?

00:25:36.806 --> 00:25:37.695
Read it aloud with me.

00:25:37.905 --> 00:25:38.826
"Walk straight.

00:25:39.486 --> 00:25:40.236
Act right.

00:25:40.556 --> 00:25:41.306
Tell the truth.

00:25:41.736 --> 00:25:42.685
Walk straight.

00:25:43.086 --> 00:25:43.855
Act right.

00:25:44.276 --> 00:25:45.685
Tell the truth." What do you gotta do?

00:25:45.756 --> 00:25:47.816
You gotta- Walk straight.

00:25:47.816 --> 00:25:48.986
Act right.

00:25:48.986 --> 00:25:49.496
Say it again.

00:25:49.496 --> 00:25:52.855
You gotta walk straight, a- Tell, tell...

00:25:52.855 --> 00:25:54.675
Look at your neighbor and say,"Walk straight.

00:25:55.086 --> 00:25:55.925
Act right.

00:25:56.125 --> 00:25:58.306
Tell the truth." Look at your other neighbor,'cause they need it too.

00:25:58.395 --> 00:25:59.326
Walk straight.

00:25:59.615 --> 00:26:00.506
Act right.

00:26:00.605 --> 00:26:01.365
Tell the truth.

00:26:01.405 --> 00:26:03.145
That's what you need to do.

00:26:05.903 --> 00:26:09.173
That's how you have dinner in heaven with the Lord.

00:26:10.663 --> 00:26:13.644
Because God cares about your behavior on the outside.

00:26:14.874 --> 00:26:18.223
I mean, sometimes you have to say it like, you know, parents say it this way.

00:26:18.453 --> 00:26:20.403
You know, you have to say it with a clenched tooth.

00:26:20.634 --> 00:26:25.847
Like you say, you say,"That's right." Act right.

00:26:26.988 --> 00:26:28.258
You know, you're going to dinner somewhere.

00:26:28.268 --> 00:26:33.087
You're, you're meeting people, trying to impress them, and you're like,"Guys, when, when we get in there, you better act right.

00:26:33.948 --> 00:26:40.018
You had better act right." And the more my molars touch, the more serious it is.

00:26:41.827 --> 00:26:48.837
It's like, or when you're driving your kids in the back, and you're like,"Act right." You're just swinging the air.

00:26:48.847 --> 00:26:52.877
You're not even, you're not even, you're not even reaching your, their point of contact.

00:26:52.948 --> 00:26:54.597
Are you allowed to do that anymore, by the way?

00:26:54.607 --> 00:26:54.627
Yeah.

00:26:55.738 --> 00:26:58.758
Do you get caught if you, if you swatted those kids?

00:26:58.938 --> 00:27:00.137
I used to, I used to do that.

00:27:00.198 --> 00:27:01.198
Don't tell any stories.

00:27:02.827 --> 00:27:04.097
Say,"John, act right.

00:27:05.208 --> 00:27:10.402
S- s- stop, stop touching her." Stop saying that.

00:27:10.811 --> 00:27:11.432
Act right.

00:27:12.201 --> 00:27:13.951
And that's what God says to us.

00:27:14.061 --> 00:27:17.321
Kids, walk straight.

00:27:17.632 --> 00:27:18.951
You're on the crooked road.

00:27:18.961 --> 00:27:20.731
Why are you so crooked all the time?

00:27:20.872 --> 00:27:26.066
Walk straight Children of God, act right.

00:27:27.026 --> 00:27:29.776
And by all means, tell the truth.

00:27:30.046 --> 00:27:30.066
Yeah.

00:27:30.996 --> 00:27:37.246
Stop lying, and stop lying on each other Hello?

00:27:41.018 --> 00:27:44.698
Revival produces justice and compassion.

00:27:45.518 --> 00:27:48.928
It produces justice and compassion.

00:27:49.327 --> 00:27:52.337
I wanna read a passage, um, in Isaiah 58.

00:27:52.367 --> 00:27:53.928
We read this every January.

00:27:54.208 --> 00:28:04.127
Every January we do a fast, and this is part of our, um, scriptures that we revisit, because God has fasts in the Bible for reasons.

00:28:04.867 --> 00:28:09.837
And, and the children, the prophet speaking, he's like, and God's like,"I didn't tell you to fast for that reason.

00:28:10.048 --> 00:28:17.617
I'm telling you to fast for this reason." And God still today is telling His church,"When you fast and pray, these are the kind of results I wanna see.

00:28:17.617 --> 00:28:29.448
This is why I'm calling you to fast and pray, because revival produces justice and compassion." Look with me, Isaiah 58:6,"No, this is the kind of fasting I want." He's real specific.

00:28:29.567 --> 00:28:33.557
"This is the kind of fast I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned.

00:28:33.798 --> 00:28:36.067
Lighten the burden of those who work for you.

00:28:36.198 --> 00:28:43.147
Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people." Break every chain.

00:28:43.157 --> 00:28:44.008
Break every...

00:28:44.657 --> 00:28:45.178
You sing it.

00:28:45.478 --> 00:28:46.978
"Share your food with the hungry.

00:28:47.178 --> 00:28:48.678
Give shelter to the homeless.

00:28:48.847 --> 00:28:50.498
Give clothes to those who need them.

00:28:50.657 --> 00:28:53.178
Don't hide from relatives who need your help.

00:28:53.597 --> 00:28:55.228
Then your salvation..." Watch the then.

00:28:55.238 --> 00:29:01.208
He tells you to do all this, and He says,"Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will heal quickly.

00:29:01.327 --> 00:29:10.478
Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind." Somebody needs your behind protected.

00:29:11.938 --> 00:29:15.667
Then, watch this,"Then you will call on the Lord, and He will answer.

00:29:15.678 --> 00:29:18.198
'Yes, I'm here,' He will quickly reply.

00:29:18.347 --> 00:29:20.077
Remove the heavy yoke of oppression.

00:29:20.178 --> 00:29:24.748
Stop pointing your finger and spreading vicious rumors." Sheesh.

00:29:26.157 --> 00:29:29.549
Tell- Walk straight.

00:29:30.279 --> 00:29:31.259
Shut your mouth.

00:29:32.579 --> 00:29:36.309
Stop pointing your finger and spreading vicious rumors.

00:29:36.589 --> 00:29:37.509
Feed the hungry.

00:29:37.759 --> 00:29:38.779
Help those in trouble.

00:29:38.940 --> 00:29:44.950
Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and your darkness around you will be as bright as noon.

00:29:45.440 --> 00:29:50.220
The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you're dry, restoring your strength.

00:29:50.470 --> 00:29:56.160
Watch this, you will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.

00:29:56.869 --> 00:30:02.500
And some of you, see some of us, some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities.

00:30:02.829 --> 00:30:07.859
Then you'll be known as a rebuilder of the walls and a restorer of homes.

00:30:08.529 --> 00:30:15.980
Woo! Lord, let Oasis City Church be, known as a restorer of homes, a rebuilder of things that are ruined.

00:30:17.329 --> 00:30:20.779
The other translations say you're the repairer of the breach.

00:30:21.539 --> 00:30:24.690
You go in and you take broken things and you put them back together again.

00:30:24.799 --> 00:30:26.650
That's what God wants to use you for.

00:30:27.490 --> 00:30:34.369
God wants to use you to restore people, wants to use you to set the captive free, wants to use you to feed the hungry.

00:30:34.410 --> 00:30:38.940
He wants to use you to, to minister to the poor, and to the needy, and the lonely.

00:30:38.990 --> 00:30:44.980
He wants to use you to set, make the oppressed go free, to break yokes of bondage off of people's lives.

00:30:45.109 --> 00:30:48.259
He wants to use you, and He wants to flow over you.

00:30:48.259 --> 00:30:50.380
He wants you to be a well-watered garden.

00:30:50.579 --> 00:30:52.420
That means an ever-flowing spring.

00:30:52.519 --> 00:31:01.163
Any time somebody's around you that's needy, they can drink from your life Revival does that.

00:31:01.544 --> 00:31:03.124
It's not just a touch from heaven.

00:31:03.243 --> 00:31:04.693
It changes communities.

00:31:04.804 --> 00:31:25.410
When the poor are now cared for, it changes that city When those who are naked have clothes, it changes those kids When those who are oppressed with darkness and addiction and all the, all the ugliness of oppression in life and they're set free, it changes their lives.

00:31:27.190 --> 00:31:30.549
Woo! Whew.

00:31:32.450 --> 00:31:33.700
Notice the progression.

00:31:34.710 --> 00:31:39.109
It starts with God freeing people, then He heals communities, then He rebuilds cities.

00:31:39.450 --> 00:31:40.519
That's the progression.

00:31:40.750 --> 00:31:46.556
That's what this whole thing's about And we need to be part of that in Westerville.

00:31:46.556 --> 00:31:47.965
We need to be part of that in Columbus.

00:31:47.965 --> 00:31:49.685
We need to be part of that in the state of Ohio.

00:31:49.826 --> 00:31:51.385
We need to be part of that in our nation.

00:31:51.645 --> 00:31:59.943
We need to be part of it around the world Revival requires unity.

00:32:01.374 --> 00:32:07.443
It's not a buffet ingredient or item that you can just walk by.

00:32:08.433 --> 00:32:09.884
It requires unity.

00:32:10.713 --> 00:32:15.023
Even the words of Jesus himself, he prayed a famous prayer.

00:32:15.124 --> 00:32:18.854
When Jesus prays, you better be listening and reading.

00:32:19.034 --> 00:32:19.804
What's he saying?

00:32:19.804 --> 00:32:20.874
Why is he praying this?

00:32:21.114 --> 00:32:23.084
He has this famous prayer in John 17.

00:32:23.144 --> 00:32:26.943
I only have time to read a couple verses, but, but look at the impact of this.

00:32:28.403 --> 00:32:29.443
He's praying to the Father.

00:32:29.443 --> 00:32:46.213
He says,"I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may be all one, just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

00:32:46.554 --> 00:32:52.784
The glory that you've given me, I've given it to them, that they may be one, even as we are one.

00:32:53.193 --> 00:33:08.763
I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me, and love them just as you love me." Now, this is not just a prayer of those disciples living in that day.

00:33:10.124 --> 00:33:11.233
How do I know that?

00:33:11.523 --> 00:33:20.854
Well, I know it from the rest of the prayer, but also look at what Jesus said in verse 20,"I don't ask for these only, but for those who believe in me." He said...

00:33:20.933 --> 00:33:24.773
So, so 2,000 years later, his prayer is still happening.

00:33:25.354 --> 00:33:32.273
It's not just for those there that were alive right then in the Garden of Gethsemane or, or on the hill or up the Olive Grove.

00:33:32.314 --> 00:33:34.834
It's not just for those who were following him to his death.

00:33:34.923 --> 00:33:36.673
It wasn't just for those who were sleeping.

00:33:36.814 --> 00:33:39.943
It wasn't just for those who were at the Mount of Transfiguration.

00:33:39.943 --> 00:33:41.824
It wasn't just for those who were feeding...

00:33:41.983 --> 00:33:44.273
uh, who got fed, the 5,000 and the 4,000.

00:33:44.273 --> 00:33:46.453
It wasn't just for those who were healed in the pool.

00:33:46.523 --> 00:33:47.344
It wasn't just for those.

00:33:47.423 --> 00:33:49.933
It was for anyone who believed in me.

00:33:51.423 --> 00:33:52.124
And that's you.

00:33:53.824 --> 00:33:54.134
That's you.

00:33:55.503 --> 00:33:57.733
So this applies to you.

00:33:57.834 --> 00:34:00.364
So why, why is he saying this?

00:34:01.013 --> 00:34:03.213
Why, what's the purpose of this prayer?

00:34:03.394 --> 00:34:17.623
Oh, the very next line,"That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I'm in you, that they may be in us, so that the world might believe.

00:34:18.583 --> 00:34:27.500
The glory you've given me, I've given to them." See, our theme this year has been more glory.

00:34:27.880 --> 00:34:28.840
It's been evangelism.

00:34:28.840 --> 00:34:36.619
It's been taking God's glory, uh, out of, of just an experience in, within the four walls of the church, and we're asking for glory.

00:34:36.619 --> 00:34:39.369
We are saying,"God, come and disrupt our lives with Your glory.

00:34:39.559 --> 00:34:41.480
Come and interrupt us with Your glory.

00:34:41.630 --> 00:34:44.750
Come and do, do things in Your glory that we don't even expect.

00:34:44.750 --> 00:34:46.889
Lord, come and move in our life." Why?

00:34:46.929 --> 00:34:51.619
So that we can carry that glory, the glory that G- go- that Jesus has.

00:34:51.650 --> 00:34:53.570
He says He gave it to you.

00:34:54.909 --> 00:34:56.389
Now, why did He do it?

00:34:57.230 --> 00:35:14.572
The why is the next line of His prayer: So that the world will know See, our unity is a key for non-believers to become believers.

00:35:16.092 --> 00:35:20.902
The unity of the body of Christ is not just for the body of Christ.

00:35:21.481 --> 00:35:26.592
It's so that the world may see it, and they may know.

00:35:27.411 --> 00:35:30.141
And the world may say,"I don't know about those Christians.

00:35:30.342 --> 00:35:32.871
I don't know about, I don't know about, you know, all the Bible stuff.

00:35:32.871 --> 00:35:33.192
I don't know.

00:35:33.271 --> 00:35:38.081
But here's what I do know, man, I don't see them fighting and arguing.

00:35:38.922 --> 00:35:40.391
I see them loving each other.

00:35:41.101 --> 00:35:45.231
I see, I see the church, uh, solving the community problems.

00:35:45.231 --> 00:35:47.532
I see the church affecting the school system.

00:35:47.532 --> 00:35:48.242
I see the church...

00:35:48.411 --> 00:35:53.012
I mean, every, every time I, I show up and I see a Christian, they, they have a smile on their face.

00:35:53.012 --> 00:35:54.052
They have a kind word.

00:35:54.202 --> 00:35:54.871
They hug me.

00:35:54.871 --> 00:35:55.672
They pray for me.

00:35:55.791 --> 00:35:56.411
I don't know.

00:35:56.692 --> 00:35:58.282
I- there's something gotta be on it.

00:35:58.282 --> 00:36:08.632
I don't know who's got the answers, but let me tell you, I know the church has the answer." In a divided society, only the church can model unity.

00:36:10.382 --> 00:36:11.322
Only the church.

00:36:11.641 --> 00:36:18.762
It's the hope of the world,'cause the world will believe when believers love each other.

00:36:20.132 --> 00:36:28.070
Those are the words of Jesus That's why Azusa Street was so powerful, and I taught on it more last week with William Seymour.

00:36:28.820 --> 00:36:52.371
A, a one-eyed Black man in segregation in 1906 leading a church filled with Black people, white people, Asian people, Hispanic people, to the point where the news article said That color was washed away in the blood.

00:36:54.362 --> 00:36:58.632
Here's a man who's not even allowed, because of segregation laws, to do what he's doing.

00:36:59.112 --> 00:37:00.751
But a revival broke out.

00:37:01.331 --> 00:37:04.632
A revival broke out, and the color line was washed away.

00:37:04.632 --> 00:37:10.072
The boundaries, what separated us, was washed away by the blood of Christ, and that's the power of unity.

00:37:11.271 --> 00:37:16.902
That Azusa Street Mission was, was, in that revival, modeled what Jesus prayed in John 17.

00:37:18.802 --> 00:37:21.512
It wasn't coming because they had the best seats in the church.

00:37:22.382 --> 00:37:24.202
It wasn't because it was the most beautiful building.

00:37:24.211 --> 00:37:28.001
It wasn't because, uh, they had the best sound system, the best praise band.

00:37:29.052 --> 00:37:51.436
It was unity in revival, and people got born again, spirit-filled, and they said,"Man, we don't care about segregation laws" I didn't love you yesterday, but I can look in your eyes and love you today I'm gonna end on this point, but I have more.

00:37:52.456 --> 00:37:53.155
Just warning you.

00:37:53.166 --> 00:38:03.192
I have to preach in a couple weeks or something Revival must become mission.

00:38:04.782 --> 00:38:16.541
Revival must become mission Just like in the Book of Acts, the movement of the church didn't end at Pentecost.

00:38:17.572 --> 00:38:23.262
Pentecost launched the mission of the church, and it's still launching and going.

00:38:23.262 --> 00:38:24.822
Revival's always moving.

00:38:25.481 --> 00:38:31.161
And another one of the commands of Jesus, another one of the instructions of Jesus is r- really famous.

00:38:31.331 --> 00:38:35.302
As a matter of fact, um, all, all the denominations can agree on this one.

00:38:35.302 --> 00:38:43.532
E- they might not agree on speaking in tongues or the gift of the Spirit, or they might not agree on orthodoxy, but they, everybody that's born again, uh, believes this passage, preaches it.

00:38:43.532 --> 00:38:45.601
Matthew 28:18, you know it.

00:38:45.601 --> 00:38:51.132
"And Jesus came up and he spoke to them saying,'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

00:38:51.391 --> 00:39:00.742
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you.

00:39:00.851 --> 00:39:10.271
And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age.'" I mean, that's a power-packed three, three verses, and it's the instructions of Jesus to His church.

00:39:10.442 --> 00:39:14.262
Revival always becomes mission, and this is the mission.

00:39:15.101 --> 00:39:16.472
This is the Great Commission.

00:39:16.472 --> 00:39:19.302
This is, this is, if you're a follower of Jesus, these are your instructions.

00:39:19.461 --> 00:39:27.541
But we sometimes, I think, forget the, the, the passage in the middle says,"Therefore," but we forget what the therefore is for.

00:39:28.302 --> 00:39:32.702
Any time you see therefore, you should wonder what it's there for.

00:39:33.202 --> 00:39:33.751
Read it.

00:39:34.041 --> 00:39:35.492
What's in the previous verse?

00:39:35.521 --> 00:39:43.842
Jesus says something so incredibly mind-blowing, and we forget about it, as a church I think we do, as Christians.

00:39:44.231 --> 00:40:03.420
"And Jesus came up, spoke to them saying," look, it's the first one he said, quote,"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." Therefore Now, why do we need to get this?

00:40:07.056 --> 00:40:14.385
Because if all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus, how much does the devil have?

00:40:17.175 --> 00:40:18.315
I mean, he said all.

00:40:18.905 --> 00:40:21.806
He could've been like,"50/50.

00:40:21.806 --> 00:40:41.630
Up here I'm good, down there you're on your own." So we're not saying, we're not, we, we have to recognize, you know, there's demonic forces, there's spiritual warfare, there's all this, but all authority, the final say, absolute all authority, has been given to Jesus, and then he gives it to us.

00:40:43.460 --> 00:40:44.590
That's why you have to see it.

00:40:45.599 --> 00:40:51.349
You have the battle, you're gonna win, but don't run from the battle, because all authority's been given to you.

00:40:51.929 --> 00:40:54.230
Go therefore and make disciples.

00:40:54.360 --> 00:40:55.429
Baptize them.

00:40:55.579 --> 00:40:56.630
Preach the gospel.

00:40:56.719 --> 00:40:57.429
Teach them.

00:40:57.559 --> 00:40:57.949
Why?

00:40:57.960 --> 00:40:59.539
Because you have authority to do so.

00:40:59.550 --> 00:40:59.579
Yes.

00:41:01.210 --> 00:41:04.059
You have authority to change the way people think.

00:41:04.550 --> 00:41:07.750
You have authority to make disciples, make new followers of Jesus.

00:41:07.750 --> 00:41:09.219
You have authority to baptize people.

00:41:09.329 --> 00:41:11.110
You have authority to preach the gospel.

00:41:11.789 --> 00:41:12.849
You go do it.

00:41:14.429 --> 00:41:15.659
He's relying on you.

00:41:15.699 --> 00:41:17.460
Can God trust us?

00:41:20.045 --> 00:41:27.197
He's not sovereignly sweeping in and baptizing Could he do it?

00:41:27.288 --> 00:41:27.637
Absolutely.

00:41:27.938 --> 00:41:28.987
He can do whatever he wants.

00:41:29.407 --> 00:41:30.077
What does he want?

00:41:30.088 --> 00:41:31.157
You to baptize.

00:41:32.108 --> 00:41:33.458
He wants you to make disciples.

00:41:33.958 --> 00:41:35.708
He could make a robot if he wanted.

00:41:35.807 --> 00:41:41.858
He could just give you, he could download the whole Bible in somebody's, in some wicked sinner's brain all at one time.

00:41:42.277 --> 00:41:43.737
If he wanted to, he could do that.

00:41:44.137 --> 00:41:46.277
They'd just automatically get saved, spirit-filled.

00:41:46.807 --> 00:41:48.307
They automatically preach the gospel.

00:41:48.318 --> 00:41:53.498
They automatically, you know, on YouTube have podcasts, overnight success.

00:41:53.748 --> 00:41:54.677
He can do it if he wanted to.

00:41:55.248 --> 00:41:56.027
What does he wanna do?

00:41:56.057 --> 00:41:57.768
He wants you to preach the gospel.

00:41:58.668 --> 00:42:00.288
He wants you to take his authority.

00:42:00.418 --> 00:42:06.657
He wants me to go on mission and extend his kingdom and his word and his power.

00:42:06.797 --> 00:42:16.077
One of the, one of my favorite missionary, uh, stories and truths is the Moravian Revival from the seven, from 1727.

00:42:16.077 --> 00:42:22.648
The Moravian Revival, uh, took place in Saxony, Germany, by Count Nicholas Zinzendorf.

00:42:22.788 --> 00:42:23.878
I like saying his name, too.

00:42:23.947 --> 00:42:24.768
Zinzendorf.

00:42:25.757 --> 00:42:30.498
Now, here's the interesting thing about the Moravians 300 years ago.

00:42:31.117 --> 00:42:40.668
The Moravians were, um, refugees, and they ended up on his land, on his property.

00:42:41.047 --> 00:42:46.947
And at that time, the church, the greater church, he's a believer, but the greater church is having all kind of schisms.

00:42:47.318 --> 00:42:49.157
They are disagreeing over everything, doctoring.

00:42:49.157 --> 00:42:50.577
They're fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting.

00:42:50.577 --> 00:42:59.088
And these refugees come up, and he's like,"Listen, you can stay on my property." And they were, they were bickering and everything, and the whole story, and he basically said,"Listen, we're gonna stop all the fighting.

00:42:59.518 --> 00:43:03.007
We're gonna pray John 17, that we're gonna be one and unified.

00:43:03.237 --> 00:43:06.418
We're gonna, we, and, and everybody here is gonna sign a covenant.

00:43:07.447 --> 00:43:19.057
We're gonna sign a covenant that we will be unified, that we're not gonna let anything separate us, and that we're gonna glorify Jesus because of the blood of Christ, and we're gonna, everything is submitted to the blood of Christ." Now, that wasn't the exact words, but that was basically it.

00:43:19.057 --> 00:43:20.168
It was, like, three sentences.

00:43:21.168 --> 00:43:25.007
Everybody signed the covenant, and they started a prayer meeting.

00:43:25.478 --> 00:43:26.217
He said,"This is what we're gonna do.

00:43:26.217 --> 00:43:26.697
We're gonna pray.

00:43:27.717 --> 00:43:28.338
I'm not gonna preach.

00:43:28.338 --> 00:43:28.628
I'm gonna...

00:43:28.788 --> 00:43:38.657
We're gonna pray." And they started a prayer movement that, for 24 hours a day, every hour was covered of somebody praying.

00:43:39.878 --> 00:44:01.503
That prayer movement lasted 100 years A hundred years But it didn't just stay in Germany, because these people that were getting born again because of prayer, they started praying.

00:44:01.753 --> 00:44:16.536
They started recognizing that God needed to send them out as missionaries, and there became a movement of the Moravians missionaries, and they went to hundreds of nations Started prayer movements.

00:44:16.726 --> 00:44:25.985
One of the first places they went from Germany was the West Indies, and they started ministering to slaves on the islands in the Caribbean.

00:44:26.835 --> 00:44:32.525
And one thing was interesting, this morning after church, one of the ladies came up to me and she said,"I'm from the West Indies.

00:44:33.155 --> 00:44:41.476
I'm Moravian." I said,"What?" She said,"Yeah, my whole family." She said,"And my, I'm bringing my family here, and my son, he's Moravian, too.

00:44:41.505 --> 00:44:44.385
We know the Moravians." He said,"We're going back to St.

00:44:44.385 --> 00:44:44.635
Kitts.

00:44:44.646 --> 00:44:51.735
I'm taking my family because I want them to see the Moravians, what they did in this island." I was like,"That's so cool." Why was it at the end of my message?

00:44:52.215 --> 00:44:53.735
Could've had that lady testify.

00:44:55.496 --> 00:44:56.146
But isn't that cool?

00:44:56.166 --> 00:44:57.576
Right there, second row, right where Mike's sitting.

00:44:57.585 --> 00:44:58.425
She was sitting right there.

00:44:58.615 --> 00:45:12.568
She said, uh, she went and then go,"I'm Moravian." Black woman from, from the West Indies,"I'm Moravian" Hundreds of years later, relating to a revival from 1727.

00:45:13.538 --> 00:45:15.077
That's what prayer does.

00:45:15.077 --> 00:45:16.057
That's what revival does.

00:45:16.217 --> 00:45:18.018
It takes the church on mission.

00:45:19.088 --> 00:45:20.788
It takes the church to other nations.

00:45:20.788 --> 00:45:22.268
That's why we showed you a video today.

00:45:22.387 --> 00:45:23.918
That's why we have missions in this church.

00:45:23.927 --> 00:45:25.347
You need to support missions.

00:45:25.557 --> 00:45:31.632
If you can't go, you should give And you should still consider going.

00:45:31.641 --> 00:45:31.661
Yeah.

00:45:33.581 --> 00:45:38.202
And if you can't go, you should give and help somebody go, in this church.

00:45:38.371 --> 00:45:40.172
We, we love missions in this church.

00:45:40.172 --> 00:45:43.061
Our network, Reconciliation, we do missions trips.

00:45:43.112 --> 00:45:43.621
We love it.

00:45:43.621 --> 00:45:45.972
Covenant Church of Nazareth, we do missions trips.

00:45:46.411 --> 00:45:56.851
And, and, and, uh, I, I mean, I mean, we, we just were in South Africa, we're in Colombia, and then we're in Peru this year, September, me and Lynn, in Lima, Peru.

00:45:56.851 --> 00:45:58.411
We're taking a team from our churches.

00:45:58.831 --> 00:45:59.612
Go on with us.

00:45:59.672 --> 00:46:00.512
Now, here's the interesting thing.

00:46:00.512 --> 00:46:01.362
You wanna hear that story?

00:46:01.371 --> 00:46:01.391
Yeah.

00:46:02.402 --> 00:46:02.992
You got a second?

00:46:03.612 --> 00:46:03.632
Yeah.

00:46:03.692 --> 00:46:15.641
Um, you know, we were in Col- Well, four years ago, four years ago, I had a prophetic word from Papa Joe, you know, Joe Ewan from Scotland, and he's been in my life for, uh, 20-some years.

00:46:15.862 --> 00:46:20.731
And, and he was just praying for me, and he said something he's never said to me before, and nobody ever has.

00:46:21.192 --> 00:46:22.552
It was, like, one sentence.

00:46:22.931 --> 00:46:32.871
"Bill, when South America calls, you need to go." I was like,"South America?" Now, at that time, I had never been to South America.

00:46:33.891 --> 00:46:38.172
I had never had an invitation from a, a church to come to South America.

00:46:38.512 --> 00:46:39.461
I, I, I just...

00:46:39.552 --> 00:46:42.271
And I didn't, honestly, even really have a desire.

00:46:42.442 --> 00:46:53.771
Like, we focus on Jamaica, we focus on South Africa, uh, we focus on our other, you know, regions around the country, um, and some other nations in Africa, the person that we go to and invest our time in, and I never even thought of it.

00:46:53.922 --> 00:46:59.121
And then my phone rings, and then, and I get my first invitation.

00:46:59.161 --> 00:47:01.942
I have this,"Hey, oh, I gotta say yes.

00:47:01.952 --> 00:47:08.452
Say yes." And then, then I was in Dallas, and a guy came in and he said,"You know, I'm from Bogotá, Colombia.

00:47:08.452 --> 00:47:12.302
Will you come, uh, next y- in a conference in, like, three months from now?

00:47:12.442 --> 00:47:23.672
Would you come, and would you preach at this worship conference?" And, and co- And I had the word in my head,"When, when they call, say yes," so I said,"Okay," so,"Yes." And then a few months later, I had a guy come to my office in Pittsburgh.

00:47:23.681 --> 00:47:26.472
He said,"Hey, would you come to Brazil with me?

00:47:26.472 --> 00:47:27.621
Could you, could you, would you come?

00:47:27.762 --> 00:47:28.911
Would you bring your son with you?

00:47:28.911 --> 00:47:31.981
We're gonna do this prayer thing with teenagers in Brazil.

00:47:31.981 --> 00:47:35.262
Would you come and preach?" And I, I was like,"What did the word say?

00:47:35.572 --> 00:47:44.282
Say..." So then, so then I'm back in Colombia, this is last year, back in Colombia, and I'm preaching in a tent, about 800 people in this tent.

00:47:44.302 --> 00:47:45.601
Beautiful church, amazing church.

00:47:45.771 --> 00:47:50.902
Mostly young people, as it was, like, a summer re- revival for teens and, and college students.

00:47:52.001 --> 00:47:58.672
And, and the way they have this tent, they have this long catwalk, uh, a- and, and they're out there preaching, and, you know, the stage is behind you.

00:47:58.811 --> 00:48:03.672
And I'm out here, and I'm b- pretty high up, and all these people are there, and it's nighttime, and I'm just preaching.

00:48:03.672 --> 00:48:09.561
In the middle of my sermon, I have a word of knowledge comes to me from the Spirit of the Lord about Peru.

00:48:09.742 --> 00:48:10.822
Now, I'd never been to Peru.

00:48:11.001 --> 00:48:12.262
I'd never been invited to Peru.

00:48:12.371 --> 00:48:15.791
I'm in Colombia, and God's talking about, about another nation.

00:48:16.422 --> 00:48:17.711
So I have a choice.

00:48:17.992 --> 00:48:21.532
Do I risk it, or do I keep preaching?

00:48:21.981 --> 00:48:22.871
'Cause I had a pretty good sermon.

00:48:26.903 --> 00:48:28.273
And so I'm like,"I don't know Peru.

00:48:28.463 --> 00:48:29.514
What if I say something wrong?

00:48:29.523 --> 00:48:31.083
I don't even know, I don't know the capital.

00:48:31.193 --> 00:48:35.233
I don't know what it looks like." I mean, God, I'm having this conversation with the Lord while preaching.

00:48:35.313 --> 00:48:36.224
You can do that, by the way.

00:48:36.914 --> 00:48:38.934
So I'm like, okay, and I'm like this.

00:48:39.114 --> 00:48:47.014
I said,"Is, is there any Peruvians here?" And I'm like, one eye open, winking, like they're gonna say no, and I'm gonna just keep going back.

00:48:47.923 --> 00:48:53.884
As soon as I say it, in the back of the tent, all the way in the back, it was an uproar.

00:48:53.893 --> 00:49:03.923
"Ah!" High-fiving, standing up, and I'm looking like,"What is going on?" And there was like 40 people in the back, and they did not wait for me to say anything else.

00:49:03.954 --> 00:49:09.994
They stood up, high-fiving, and they just ran to the front of the altar.

00:49:11.123 --> 00:49:16.903
And they were like,"Prophesy over us, pray over us." And I'll tell you, that's when the meeting was over.

00:49:18.074 --> 00:49:19.673
Well, I mean, it went on for about three more hours.

00:49:19.673 --> 00:49:21.003
That's when the sermon was over, I should've said.

00:49:22.373 --> 00:49:32.773
So I said,"I see Peru, and here's what I see..." And I started describing a city center, and, and I started describing this and this, and prayer movements, and prayer walks, and all this stuff, and I'd saw it in my, in...

00:49:32.864 --> 00:49:33.773
I saw the vision.

00:49:33.773 --> 00:49:37.793
I started prophesying, and all these people are hungry, crying out for the Lord, and they're like,"Pray for us.

00:49:37.983 --> 00:49:45.844
Come down here and lay hands on us." So I had to run away from the catwalk and down the steps and come over, and Lynn joined me, and we started praying, and people were just b- b- b- b- b- everywhere.

00:49:45.983 --> 00:49:48.474
And then all the other nations started coming forward,"Pray for us.

00:49:48.534 --> 00:49:51.664
Prophesy over us." And, um, and it was glorious.

00:49:51.664 --> 00:49:52.373
It was amazing.

00:49:52.373 --> 00:49:58.434
And after the meeting is over, and I'm tired, and I'm ready to leave, and it's hours later, so...

00:49:58.614 --> 00:50:00.733
And, and, you know, I was preaching with an interpreter.

00:50:01.003 --> 00:50:02.134
Nobody speaks English.

00:50:02.193 --> 00:50:03.664
Well, not nobody, but very few.

00:50:03.893 --> 00:50:14.864
So I'm preaching with, and I'm trying to make sure this prophecy's accurate and, and, and this little g- little, young, young, sh- short, I should say, uh, young woman comes up to me.

00:50:14.873 --> 00:50:16.563
She speaks, like, perfect English.

00:50:16.753 --> 00:50:18.583
She en- ends up being a, an interpreter.

00:50:19.353 --> 00:50:28.014
She comes and she says, uh,"Apostle Bill and, and Pastor Lynn, would you meet my parents?" I said,"Of course." She says,"I'm from Peru.

00:50:28.403 --> 00:50:29.293
You just prayed for us.

00:50:29.483 --> 00:50:34.614
But I want to introduce you to them, and I will translate for them." So we keep, we, we meet them, and we pray for them.

00:50:34.804 --> 00:50:43.853
And as we're leaving, they said,"Will you come to Peru next year?" Now, I wanted to say,"I don't know about Peru.

00:50:43.873 --> 00:50:44.804
I've never been there.

00:50:44.844 --> 00:50:46.353
I don't even know who you are.

00:50:46.574 --> 00:50:50.563
I, I, I trust you're good people, but, like, I don't..." But what was the word?

00:50:52.014 --> 00:50:57.054
So I said,"Yes, we'll come." And we've been in touch with them for a year.

00:50:57.873 --> 00:51:03.123
Um, she's in Lynn's, one of Lynn's mentee programs, and, and we're going to Peru in September.

00:51:03.264 --> 00:51:04.094
I have never been there.

00:51:04.094 --> 00:51:07.014
I don't know what we're gonna do, but we have a team of people with us.

00:51:07.054 --> 00:51:08.164
You can come if you want.

00:51:08.273 --> 00:51:09.983
We have a team of people, but I said to everybody...

00:51:09.983 --> 00:51:11.454
They said,"What are we gonna do?" I said,"I don't know.

00:51:11.463 --> 00:51:12.213
We're gonna preach.

00:51:12.474 --> 00:51:13.713
You're gonna lay hands on the sick.

00:51:13.934 --> 00:51:16.653
Any type, any person we walk by that needs prayer, you're gonna lay hands on.

00:51:16.764 --> 00:51:20.724
You're gonna pray, you're gonna prophesy over them." I am, yep, if you're going on the trip, that's what you're gonna do.

00:51:20.914 --> 00:51:22.373
You are the ministry team.

00:51:23.614 --> 00:51:24.514
You might be preaching.

00:51:24.514 --> 00:51:25.114
I don't know.

00:51:25.184 --> 00:51:26.503
I don't know how many sermons I got.

00:51:27.313 --> 00:51:28.474
I don't know how many speaking opportunities.

00:51:28.474 --> 00:51:30.333
Lynn's doing a women's night revival meeting.

00:51:30.574 --> 00:51:33.603
I was like,"You're, ladies, you're going with her.

00:51:33.943 --> 00:51:40.793
Guys, you come with me, we'll, we'll do something." But church has to be on mission.

00:51:42.153 --> 00:51:46.233
You've gotta be on mission, and maybe for you, maybe for...

00:51:46.434 --> 00:51:48.204
Yell out your street right now that you live on.

00:51:49.833 --> 00:51:51.664
That's your mission field right now.

00:51:52.434 --> 00:51:53.753
Yell out your school district.

00:51:55.403 --> 00:51:56.643
That's your mission field.

00:51:57.813 --> 00:51:59.014
Yell out your employer.

00:52:00.704 --> 00:52:08.326
That's your mission field Don't be going to South Africa if you can't even witness to your coworker.

00:52:10.175 --> 00:52:25.456
If you can't represent Jesus behind the cash register, or in the clothing aisle, or behind the accounting desk, if you, or in, typing the email, if you can't represent Jesus there, stop trying to go somewhere else.

00:52:25.775 --> 00:52:26.706
You need there.

00:52:26.786 --> 00:52:45.461
Make that a mission field, and then go on mission Okay, I'm done I'm gonna, I wanna, I wanna say one more thing I want you to stand,'cause that will help me know that I'm done.

00:52:45.472 --> 00:52:45.512
Maybe.

00:52:46.251 --> 00:52:46.922
Yeah, maybe.

00:52:47.032 --> 00:52:47.751
It might help me.

00:52:48.871 --> 00:52:58.643
We'll just start singing again and Chanda called me a few days ago and she said,"Hey, I have a question." I was like,"Anything for you, Chanda.

00:52:58.643 --> 00:52:59.514
What do you want?

00:52:59.864 --> 00:53:10.114
You're one of my favorite people." And she said,"Would you lead a song on Sunday with the team?" I was like,"What?" I said,"Chanda, I haven't done that in like four years.

00:53:10.393 --> 00:53:20.704
I sing every once in a while up here with the people." I said, like, I s- She said,"Yeah." I was like,"Well, I just said I'd tell you yes, so I said yes." So thank you for the opportunity.

00:53:20.704 --> 00:53:21.384
Thank you.

00:53:25.690 --> 00:53:26.670
I'm gonna end with this.

00:53:26.670 --> 00:53:29.110
I'm not gonna preach it, but I- this is important to know, though.

00:53:30.650 --> 00:53:36.610
Revival must be generational,'cause we've seen all these moves of God, and they end.

00:53:36.940 --> 00:53:44.190
And, and I understand they end, and but, but, but there is in the heart of God, He wants a continuation.

00:53:44.190 --> 00:53:47.309
He wants another 100-year prayer movement, okay?

00:53:47.929 --> 00:53:53.090
And there's a passage in Judges, I won't be reading it, but here's, here's the passage.

00:53:53.400 --> 00:54:03.570
It said that Joshua was alive, and as long as he was alive, and the other leaders around him, that Israel obeyed the Lord.

00:54:04.929 --> 00:54:11.489
He died when he was 110, and it said that the elders who were still with him, so he dies, that means some of the guys are younger than him, but he was the...

00:54:12.070 --> 00:54:14.559
Even when they were alive, they served the Lord.

00:54:15.760 --> 00:54:16.010
It...

00:54:16.139 --> 00:54:51.614
But then a few verses down, it says,"When they had all died, another generation rose up and did not acknowledge the Lord, and they served other gods." Because see, revival that doesn't become transgenerational just becomes old religion And in this case, they didn't even serve Yahweh anymore.

00:54:52.474 --> 00:54:57.268
They served the Baals Idols.

00:54:58.867 --> 00:55:04.248
And it was just one generation after Joshua and all of his elders.

00:55:05.148 --> 00:55:07.777
That's how easy it can be dropped.

00:55:08.597 --> 00:55:10.018
That's how easy it could be missed.

00:55:11.128 --> 00:55:28.978
And that's why, for as long as the Lord tarries and we're on this earth, we, and as, as, as, as young as you are, as old as you think you are, you need to always be preaching to the generations, because we cannot afford even for one gap of a generation to miss it.

00:55:30.467 --> 00:55:33.878
Father, I pray for the people of God here right now at Oasis City Church.

00:55:33.958 --> 00:55:45.898
Under the sound of my voice, those watching online, I pray for you right now, those who are hearing, listening, whether you're watching live or on demand on another day, I pray that presence of God would be in your life.

00:55:45.898 --> 00:55:48.188
I pray the fire of God in your belly.

00:55:48.208 --> 00:55:50.427
I pray for revival fire.

00:55:50.427 --> 00:55:54.007
I pray, Lord, for the cloud of glory that would go with you.

00:55:54.007 --> 00:56:01.807
I pray that you carry the glory of the Lord, not just for your sake, but for you to be one with other believers, and for the world to see it.

00:56:02.068 --> 00:56:04.867
I pray that you will go with the authority of Heaven.

00:56:05.018 --> 00:56:06.177
You'll make disciples.

00:56:06.347 --> 00:56:07.387
You'll heal the sick.

00:56:07.637 --> 00:56:08.797
You'll raise the dead.

00:56:08.797 --> 00:56:09.887
You'll cleanse the lepers.

00:56:09.987 --> 00:56:11.268
You'll cast out demons.

00:56:11.407 --> 00:56:13.137
I pray that you'll go on the mission field.

00:56:13.268 --> 00:56:14.208
You'll raise money.

00:56:14.208 --> 00:56:15.018
You'll give money.

00:56:15.018 --> 00:56:16.228
You, you'll find money.

00:56:16.228 --> 00:56:34.478
God will bless you with the, the funds and the resources to be able to do it, but you won't stop, uh, m- ministering to your community, your city street, your school system, your workplace, that you will be bold in the power of Heaven because you have all authority that Christ has given you to go extend the Kingdom in the earth.

00:56:34.657 --> 00:56:38.588
I pray for miracles, signs, and wonders upon you, work through you.

00:56:38.677 --> 00:56:40.467
Use your hands for the glory of God.

00:56:40.507 --> 00:56:43.507
I pray that you will have clean hands and a pure heart.

00:56:44.108 --> 00:56:54.157
I declare that you will walk straight, you'll act right, you'll tell the truth, you'll repent for your wicked deeds, you will live a holy, righteous, and pure life, in the name of Jesus.

00:56:55.907 --> 00:56:55.958
Come on.

00:56:55.958 --> 00:56:58.458
And Lord, would you grace us with revival again?

00:56:58.998 --> 00:57:00.128
We wanna be a part of it.

00:57:00.398 --> 00:57:02.398
In Jesus' name, amen.

00:57:02.807 --> 00:57:03.527
God bless you.
