Dr. Gayle Kouklis is an emergency physician and climate medicine expert in Seattle, WA. She trained in Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno and did a fellowship in Climate and Health Science Policy (aka climate medicine) at the University of Colorado. The intersection of climate and health affects all of our daily lives: from air pollution to increased wildfires in the West to heat and flood emergencies, to name a few. We talk all about what climate medicine means, small changes that can lead to big impacts, and the importance of working in multisdisciplinary teams. After all, diversity of thought is helps us to get to solutions faster!
