Hey kids, welcome back to the next episode of the Incredible Kids Podcast. My name is Moritz Seary, and I will be your host through this incredible journey. We are going to meet many incredible kids. They're going to share with us their stories. Some of them super cool and different like you've never heard before. And some you may say are just order than their, but all of them incredible. If you have great ideas, email me today at iKidspodcast at gmail.com. And now it's time for Incredible Day! It's time for the joke of the day!
SPEAKER_06:Yay!
SPEAKER_05:Today's joke is brought to you by Shira S from Edison, New Jersey.
SPEAKER_04:What is a volcano's favorite meal? Malava Malca.
SPEAKER_05:Hi everybody, and uh Freelich and Sucus? I was gonna say a Freelich and Sucus, so let's go with that. A Freilich and Sucus. Happy success, chagsa meach, Hagsa Meach, Hagsa Meach Letulam. Good Yon Tiff to everybody. Good Moed. We're back here with another family trivia game. I'm joined by my darling daughter Devorah. Hi. Dee, how's succus going so far?
SPEAKER_04:It's going really good. It's really fun so far.
SPEAKER_05:Give me one highlight from the first days of Yon Def.
SPEAKER_04:Either building the sucka or sucka hopping.
SPEAKER_05:It was a little bit of a chili success. There's nothing like a good chili success where it's a little bit cold outside and windy. Yeah. At least where we live. You could always like layer up sweaters, hot yum soup in the sucka. Oh my gosh, that was Yam me!
SPEAKER_04:And like when we bring blankets and stuff, it just feels so like cozy.
SPEAKER_05:We're here today to play Sucus Trivia. And Tivora was actually part of the Sucus Trivia game that you're about to hear. So we had two teams competing. We had the price team, which it comprises of some of our own family members, and we played against the Aniswald kids. They were pretty good. Yeah. You'll see, it was pretty neck and neck the whole game, you know? Good competition. Made us think a little bit. The way it works is that you're going to hear our live trivia show, and at the same time, while listening, you are going to play the trivia game. And in between questions, you're going to hear some music. And during the music is when you should be discussing with family members what the answer might be. Play as a team with your family. Feel free to pause the music if you need a little extra time and keep score because we'll tell you how many points each question and answer was worth. And at the very end of the game, you will count up all of those points and then you will submit the score to incrediblekids.org. There is a special place to submit your score on incrediblekids.org. This way, all the scores are in one place. We can contact you if you are a lucky winner. And this success, we are going to be giving away in our raffle for those lucky winners so many awesome prizes donated by some very special people and companies. So thank you so much for partnering with us to reward all of these incredible kids and families for joining us. And Dvor and I are going to share the prizes with you. Should we start with like the bigger prizes or the smaller ones?
SPEAKER_04:Um, let's do the smaller ones and then like do like the grand prizes after.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, fine. Dvor will start.
SPEAKER_04:There are three winners for the holy doubles game.
SPEAKER_05:Right. That's a card game with Godolum pictures. That actually, like, you play it, but Ahuva's really good at that game. And Leora. Leora's also. Leora knows like all the gadolum now. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04:Just by picture, not by name.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, but that's something.
SPEAKER_04:I'm not that good at it.
SPEAKER_05:The next prize is three families are going to win a bag of Pop Insanity artisanal delicious popcorn.
SPEAKER_04:Pop insanity has the best popcorn ever. If you win, you're really lucky winner.
SPEAKER_05:I know. I hope we win. Three families are going to get the Courage Club book. It was written by Mrs. Brachageth, who wrote like a ton of books, and it's highly recommended. We've talked about it before on previous podcasts. And speaking about books, this is crazy. There are going to be three families that are going to win a book bundle that includes eight books that are from Mosaica Press. Six joke books and then two other books. The sketchbook and the book about the horse. The King's Horse.
SPEAKER_04:The King's Horse.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, so, and now we're getting to even bigger prizes. There's gonna be one winner that gets a$50 gift card to Amazon. Yes, and that was sponsored by the best, Wesley Eye Care, who provides Boritsiri with her glasses. And a huge prize is the very new, almost released, coming out of November, the newest version of the 24-6 device. It's called Solo 3. It's like the ones that we already know so well, but totally improved. I don't know how it can get better, but it's getting better. So somebody here is going to win the best 24-6 solo device.
SPEAKER_04:And they have even cooler colors. Like I saw like a light blue and like a light purple and light pink. They have really good colors now.
SPEAKER_05:Also, like how devastating is it when our 24-6 device is dead?
SPEAKER_04:Very right?
SPEAKER_05:In our family, it always needs to be charged because everybody wants to use it. And of course, all of the Incredible Kids podcast episodes are all uploaded to 24-6 all the time. So another great reason to win it. All you need to do is make sure to record your scores so that you can be part of this grand raffle. Before we get to the game, I want to say that obviously it's Holamoid. There's a couple days that we have to do awesome fun activities with our family. This is an incredible opportunity if you have not yet watched, or if you already watched and you want to see it again, the Incredible Kids film that we produced this summer called Through Their Eyes. I went to Artist Rale to film families, six families, to meet with them, share with them, and to hear from their kids about their experience since their fathers are in Miloim and fighting in the army and how much they value our Tehillim and they themselves joined the Tehillim army, in a sense. And through this video, you are going to feel so inspired, uplifted, and a tremendous feeling of Ahtas and pride in being a Jew and such an attachment to Artis Rao. Dvor, how did you feel when you watched it? Because you weren't with me when I made the video. I went to Artis Raoul all by myself to do this. But you watched it just like everyone else out there. What did you feel when you watch this video? Tell everybody about it.
SPEAKER_04:I was really inspired. I really liked like how it was kids who were talking, and sometimes it was adults. You got to hear from both perspectives, and I'm also a kid. The people who were interviewed were around my age, and I could relate to them, but not fully relate to them. Like they're going through such a hard time, but how they deal with it is so like amazing that, like, if that happened to me, I don't know how I deal with it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:They definitely have incredible levels of Amuna, but you also know that they're regular kids, right? It's not a fun thing to watch a scary video. Did you feel like this was something scary?
SPEAKER_04:No, there was nothing scary. There was nothing to be scared about for it. There's literally, I'm telling you, I'm a kid also, I don't like scary things. There's nothing scary about it.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, got it. Because that's like something people always wonder about, you know? Like, is it appropriate? Is it scary? And I think we can agree that it's totally perfect for all ages, really, right?
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, it's appropriate for it could be for a grandmother, it could be for a four-year-old, it could be for anyone. And I think everyone in the family can enjoy it.
SPEAKER_05:And learn from it.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:Thank you, Devorah. That was such a good testimonial.
unknown:Thank you.
SPEAKER_05:Words straight from your heart. Listen to Devorah. If you're wondering how to watch this film, you can find it at ikfilm.org. It was a special website designed to be able to watch this film, ikfilm.org. Check it out. For an hour and a half, you will be spellbound, entertained, and uplifted with the whole family together. And now, sit back and relax and get ready to be a little competitive.
SPEAKER_04:Be aware it's a lot of stress.
SPEAKER_05:But like the good type, no?
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, it's good. I like it.
SPEAKER_05:If it's not stressful, then you can't do anything. Right, exactly. You know how we say like meidos have like, you know, their benefits? Like if you get stressed out from things like there has to be something good about it. Well, when you're doing something competitive, it helps you try harder and be more creative and forge ahead. So, anyways, don't stress too much, but have a great time and enjoy this trivia game for suggest tough shin peihei. Hi everybody, and welcome to the Incredible Kids Holomoing Trivia Show. Today we have the Price Kids versus the Anisfeld kids. Let's have them each introduce themselves. Let's go um oldest to youngest.
SPEAKER_04:My name is Xavi Aniswald and I'm 11 years old. My name is Ghiel Anisweld and I'm nine years old. My name is Rosie and I'm five years old.
SPEAKER_05:Chevy and Giel and Rosie. Against Price Kids, each of you introduce yourself. Oldest to youngest.
SPEAKER_04:My name is Devore Price and I'm 10 years old. My name's Ihoover Price and I'm eight years old. My name is Leo Price and I'm six years old.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, so welcome contestants today. Just want to say, neither of the teams have heard the questions before. Not even my own kids. So we're playing fair and square. And for everybody who's playing along with us, which is the whole fun of doing this. So right now we're recording this live, and all of you guys listening, whether you're in the car or you're sitting around the table, maybe you're in the sukkah, maybe inside the house, wherever you are playing this game, I hope you have a pen and paper or something to record your answers on. So you guys both already have that I see, which is amazing. And the very first thing that we need to do before we explain the rules is we each need to come up with a name for our team. And if you're playing this with us at home or in the car, you also, all of you together are playing on the same team, come up with a team name. So I'm gonna give you guys a minute to discuss it amongst yourselves. A really good team name. What's your team name? Super Srach. Okay, so we have team super srach. And then Price Kids. Do you guys have a name yet? Special Success. Special Success. Okay, I like how we have a lot of S's. Super Srach and Special Success. So, okay, here we go. In case you've never done this before with us, the rules are very simple. I'm going to ask a question two times, and whatever you think the answer to the question is, you're gonna write it down on the paper that you have with you. People who are playing at home are gonna hear some music, and during the time that you hear the music, that's the chance for you to collaborate with your team and think of the answer. Then we're gonna say the answers, and you are going to give yourself points if you got the answer right. And we're gonna play with two rounds. So 10 questions and then another 10 questions, and at the end we count up all of our points and we submit them so that we can enter a raffle for prizes. We have really good prizes and we're playing for the fun of it, but then you might also win. So, of course, when you're finished the game, be sure to submit your scores. Okay, here we go.
SPEAKER_02:Let's go.
SPEAKER_05:Question number one write down popular things that are written on posters in people's sukkas. Think about all of the different posters that you've seen in people's sukkas and think of popular things that are written on sukkah posters. So maybe it's at like on the door of your sukkah, there might be a sign that says something. Think about the things that you're making in school, like typical things that it would say on the poster. Okay, time's up. Let's start with team special stuck. Brooklyn Habat M. Great. Super ska. The Ushbizin. Like the names of the Ushbizen, right? The welcomed fila to the Ushbizen.
SPEAKER_04:Happy suck it.
SPEAKER_05:Shiva's Haminem. You guys are on the bowl.
SPEAKER_04:Gidolin.
SPEAKER_05:Like different names of Godolum with their pictures. Yes, for sure.
SPEAKER_04:Can I say a fake one?
SPEAKER_05:Um, not even sure what that means.
SPEAKER_04:Um, baseball players.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, okay. You just want me to use the buzzer, I think. Yes. Okay, I think you're out of them. What about you, Anispel? Do you got any more? A suckus. Yay, suckest? Okay, so I hope at home you guys are all collaborating and thinking of some good, awesome ones that we forgot. So it's a really good start for our first question. Now, for each answer that you got, give yourself one point. So if you knew three of them, you got three points. If you thought of four of them, you got four points. Question number two. Can you tell me two other names that we call sukis? Can you tell us two other names for sukis besides sukis or besides haghasukos? Now, disclaimer, when we're recording this, I don't even know if you guys learned this in school yet this year. They've been really focused on, you know, prepping you for Rashishana and Young Kippur. So it's awesome if you know the answers. Okay, let's start with Super Shah. Let's go to the other team. Special Sukis.
SPEAKER_04:Ziman Sim Chaseinu.
SPEAKER_05:Correct. Ziman Sim Chaseinu, the time of our happiness. Super Shah, do you have another one?
SPEAKER_06:Chaga Asiv.
SPEAKER_05:Yes, you got it, Chevy. Good. Chagha Asif is the time of the gathering. If you knew two other names for Sukis, you could give yourself two points for each one. Okay, question number three. Do we wear it to fill in on halhamoid? Do you wear it to fill in on halomoid? Well, I never wear it fill-in, but a boy over bar mitzvah or a man, whatever, would he wear it fill in on halomoid?
SPEAKER_01:Okay, special success, price kids. Some do and some don't.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, what about you? What did you get? Super schach. You say yes. You say yes. Yes, tfilin'. So the answer is that, like D'Vora said, some do and some don't. It's one of those things that is a min hug that some people have and some people don't. Some people will put on their tfilin and not make a bracha.
SPEAKER_04:So we weren't tfilin, do we still get a point?
SPEAKER_05:Um, no, you don't get a point. You only get a point if you said some do and some don't. It's like not a simple halaka answer. I'm sorry. Question number four. We know that we're supposed to be happy on yantif. What is the thing that we usually say makes men happy? And what is the thing that usually makes the women happy? We know that on Yantif, everyone's supposed to be happy. So what's the thing that usually makes the men happy? And what's the thing that usually makes the women happy? Like what makes them have simcha on yantif? Like what's gonna make them have the best yantif.
SPEAKER_04:Going to show!
SPEAKER_01:They do like to go to show.
SPEAKER_05:Like Sanger of Eraso. The answer that I was looking for is that the men enjoy wine and meat. Like good meat.
SPEAKER_04:That's meat. And the women and the men enjoy when their kids don't fight. We also did one their kids behave.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, those are good creative answers.
SPEAKER_04:We did that when they're able to davin. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_05:But they're able to davin. So those are definitely things that adults enjoy on Yandif. But traditionally, it's the men like the meat and the wine, and the women get new clothing, right? For Yandef. Of course, there's other things that you could do to make yourself happy. What do you guys think? If I had to add a category for kids, what do you think kids would enjoy on Yandif?
unknown:Um candy.
SPEAKER_05:Because you get candy, right?
SPEAKER_04:But the younger boys get to make kiddish. You got to make kiddish? For young clipper.
SPEAKER_01:That's a wrong holiday. Good answer to you.
SPEAKER_03:Some castora. Yes.
SPEAKER_05:They probably love that. There's so many exciting things to look forward to. So if you got meat or wine, then you give yourself a point. And if you got new clothing, give yourself a point also. Question number five. In benching, we do two things that we add in. Two different things that we add in in benching on success. What do we add to benching on suckess? Two different things. Let's start with super ska. L he else. Y'all have a yavo, exactly. Let's see. Do you guys know the second one? Do you guys know it? Is it the harakaman like like for succus? It's harakhaman. Do you know the words of it? Harakaman Hu Kinu.
SPEAKER_03:Huyake Lanu? I don't know.
SPEAKER_05:Yes. Harakaman Huyakim Lanu as sukastavod hanu fallas. Usually, anyanti, if you say harakaman, huyankilino yom shaku tov, but for sukas, there's a special one, just for sukas. Give yourself one point for each of those if you got them. And if you only got one of them, if you only said Yalavyvo or you only said arachumam, give yourself only one point, but you got two if you got both. Question number six. What do we do with the aravos on Hoshan Araba? What do we do with the Aravos on Hoshana Rabbah? Okay, team special success. You throw them or you whack them. You throw them and you whack them onto the ground. Do you want to add anything to that? Super soft?
SPEAKER_04:For Lulu F and Esther, you you save them for pesock and then you burn them in the fire?
SPEAKER_05:Oh, cool. Yeah, some people do that. It's a really special day. I know that. It's a very, very important day to Dobbin. If you got that right, if you got right what we do with I Rovos, give yourself a point. Question number seven. On sucus, do we say half of halal or the whole halal? Sometimes on on sometimes we say the whole halal and sometimes we leave out half, you know, part of it. On sucus, do we say part of halal or the whole halal? Let's answer special sukas.
unknown:Half.
SPEAKER_05:What about you guys? Whole. Half, half, whole. The answer is whole. On succis, we say the full halal. There's other times. On Rosh Chodesh, we only say half. Success is a time when you say the whole halal. So joyous. We have so many reasons to sing and praise Hashem. If you got that right, give yourself one point. Question number eight. Which foods must be eaten in the sukkah? Which foods must be eaten in the sukkah? Which brachos? Which brachos like on which foods?
SPEAKER_01:Super skach. Gaffin hamochi and mizonos. Special sukis.
SPEAKER_03:We also got that.
SPEAKER_05:I was gonna say hamochi and mizonos. I didn't even think about hagathan because I was thinking about things that you would eat. But I'm assuming that you would probably have a hagathan in the sukkah as well. And mizonos and hamochi. You're really supposed to have meals in the sukkah, right? All you're eating and actually all your sleeping should be done in the sukha. So I mean, a lot of people get out of sleeping in the sukka. Maybe it's also not people's minhug, but really we're supposed to spend all of those seven days in the sukkah. Like literally in the sukkah. As much as we can.
SPEAKER_04:Aren't you also meant to eat like breakfast in the sukkah?
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, yeah. Not just Shabbos meals. Like anytime you're gonna sit down and eat, like it should be in the sukkah if you could be.
SPEAKER_04:I don't think you have to eat lunch in the sukkah.
SPEAKER_05:Um, I think you should if you could. Like if it's not pouring rain, you know? Oh, you're showing us the sukkah decoration that you made. You're getting ready for the holiday. If you knew that you're supposed to eat those foods in the sukkah, give yourself two points.
SPEAKER_04:Those brachas, not those foods.
SPEAKER_05:Well, you don't eat a bracha. You eat a food that that is part of the bracha. You know? Question number nine. Okay, this might not have happened to you before, but if you were in the street and somebody wished you moadim lisimcha, there's something you need to respond. If you're in the street and somebody wished you, Mo'adim Lisimcha, like you know, some people say good yantif or like semayach. So if you're like an Israel or you're with people who are from another community, maybe, they might say Mo'adim Lisimcha. And what are you supposed to answer? This is really hard. I don't expect you to know it, but I kind of want to teach you it. That's kind of why I'm asking you this question. Okay, do you guys know the answer? Yeah. Really?
SPEAKER_03:I don't know. We think.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, let's see. Give it a try. I'll practice on you. Moadim lasimcha.
SPEAKER_03:Toda?
SPEAKER_05:Toda, thank you. That's a really nice response. Not the response I was looking for, but that's him tova? Gamar Hassima Toba. I love it. Those are great guesses. Okay, let's hear price kids. You guys have a guess? Now you're just saying any Hebrew that you know?
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_05:Listen, because I want to teach you this. Many years ago, my Aunt Maddie taught me what you're supposed to say. So if somebody wishes you moadim lisim cha, you're supposed to respond. Okay, everyone say it with me. Okay, let's try try that again. Oh, oh, big shot. He could do it fast. Okay, now I'm gonna say it again. Moadim lesimcha. Perfect! You got it. And I'm gonna challenge you and all the listeners out there. If you're in the streets on Yanziv, I want you to try it, okay? If you see somebody that you know in the street and you're about to say good Yanziv, stop yourself and try saying Moadim Lissimcha. And see if they respond or what they respond. They might say gracias or toda, or they might actually know what to say. Or you could teach them. We're gonna start a new trend. If you knew that answer, give yourself two points. But I don't, I don't know how many people actually are gonna know it, but we're here to learn. Question number 10. Last question in the round. What language is Ush bizen? We know that the Ush bizin are the guests who visit our sukkah. So we know it means something to do with guests, but in what language? What language is the word Ushbizin?
SPEAKER_01:What's your guess? Hebrew. Spanish.
SPEAKER_04:Perfect. No, it's something that looks like pictures of something.
SPEAKER_00:Hieroglyphics?
SPEAKER_04:Not Chinese.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, Chinese.
SPEAKER_00:Yiddish.
SPEAKER_05:It's not Yiddish. Nope.
SPEAKER_00:Africa?
SPEAKER_05:Africa? No.
unknown:Japanese?
SPEAKER_05:It's not Japanese. The answer is Aramaic.
SPEAKER_03:That's what I was gonna say. I just forgot what it was called, so I said Arabic.
SPEAKER_05:It's from Aramaic land. Many years ago, when the Jews, when the time of the Gemara, a lot of things were in Aramaic. So that is the word Ushbizin. Ushbizan. Also Aramaic. There's Aramaic. Yeah, like what? I remember. Just like you just know it's in Pesach. If you knew that it was Aramaic, give yourself two points. That was round one. Count up your points from round one. And then we are going to start round two. How are we doing so far, everybody? I want to hear a cheer from Team Super Sach.
SPEAKER_02:Super Super Sach! Super Sach. Super Sach. We're gonna win.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, let's hear a cheer from Team Special Circuit.
SPEAKER_04:We're special circus that we're here to say. We're gonna win you.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, we're officially at the halftime point. So we did one round and you have one round to go. So we're gonna get up and we're gonna do a stretch. We're gonna reach up for the sky, bend down to the floor, stretch from side to side, be a lu love, for all I know. And get ready for round two. But just a reminder make sure to check out ikfilm.org. Many of you might be listening to Incredible Kids Podcast even for the very first time. If you are, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome. You have loads to catch up on. But lucky you, because you have loads to catch up on. And if you have a long car trip ahead of you at any point during this holiday, then you are going to listen to episode after episode after episode of Incredible Kids Podcast. Is it 41? Is that how many we have so far? Wow. And if you're an old timer, come on and tell your friends about this. Share this trivia game after you play with a friend. Hey, Ma, tell them that important thing. Oh, of course. I almost forgot. Okay. If you're listening to this episode of Incredible Kids on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, make sure you're following Incredible Kids and make sure that you give us a five-star rating if you feel that you really like it. Why is this so important? You know, it's kind of uncomfortable to say, like, pick me, like me, like me, but it's more than that because I'm learning a thing or two about podcasting over the last year and a half of doing Incredible Kids. And the more followers and ratings that come in, the more Spotify and Apple Podcasts basically takes that information and puts it into other people's feeds so it pops up on their feeds. Basically, what I'm trying to say is if we want to get so many more kids to realize their own incredibleness, then we need to try to spread it in the way that we can. And this is just one of those ways to help incredible kids grow. That's easy and free. So thank you so much for helping me out in advance. Just make sure you're following, give us a good reading, and subscribe wherever you can. And that way you will always know when there's a new episode out of Incredible Kids, and you'll have so many more opportunities to learn and grow.
SPEAKER_04:That definitely sounded important.
SPEAKER_05:And now, time for round two. We are now beginning round two. Question number one. One, please list as many Simchas Torah candies that you can think of, starting with the letter P. Let's go. Think of as many words that have to do with Simchas Torah candy.
SPEAKER_02:Time up.
SPEAKER_01:Let's go. Poppin' candy. Peppermint. Pez. Yeah, pez. Those are fun.
SPEAKER_04:Purple tapies.
SPEAKER_05:Okay.
SPEAKER_04:Pink mentos.
SPEAKER_05:Pink mentos. Yeah, those are the best ones.
SPEAKER_04:Pink zippies.
SPEAKER_05:Pink zippies.
SPEAKER_04:Pink lollipops.
SPEAKER_05:Pink lollipops. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04:I see what puzzle candy.
SPEAKER_05:Puzzle candy.
SPEAKER_04:Purple sippies. Punch sours. Like sour punches.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, but like punch sours. Yeah, I got that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04:Purple sour sticks. Mm-hmm. Purple sour belts.
SPEAKER_05:Mm-hmm. Purple everything.
SPEAKER_04:There is no such thing as purple sour belt.
SPEAKER_05:Count them up. You get a half a point for each one. That's where things get complicated. So two halves make a hole. You know what I'm saying? So yala count them up. Yala.
unknown:Yala.
SPEAKER_05:Question number two. How many hakafos are there on samchas Torah? How many hakafos are there on samchas Torah? What are hakafos? On Samchas Torah, we dance around with the Torah how many how many times? How many rounds are there? Yay, seven! Did you get seven also? Excellent. If you knew that there were seven, you get one point. Okay, question number three. There is a famous song called Lechaye Olamim. You know how it goes? Kiel, let me hear you sing it. Yeah, what in the world does Tsuvemin mean? What does Tsuvemin mean? Everybody sings it all the time on some chastora. Lemi lemi limi le kaye olamim. If you know what tu vemin means, write it down. You could guess. This song actually comes from something that we say in some castora. It's like a little poem. The whole thing is called Hadaras Vahamuna. And the words are Tsuvemin Suvemin. We say Hadaras Vahamuna. We're talking about how great Hashem is. The leader of the shool calls out the first two words, and everybody says Tsu Vemin Suvemin Lechaiolam.
SPEAKER_04:Wait, don't say what it means. I'm figuring out on my 24-6th.
SPEAKER_05:What are you doing? Are you Googling it? It's a 24-6. He's not gonna know what it means from 24-6. How are you gonna know? I'm not gonna say the 24-6. Is there like an English version to Lechayolamin that you're listening to? Yeah. Who sings an English version? Okay, I want to hear a good guess though. What do you think it means? Suvemin Suvemin. We will live. What do you guys think? Like greater? Okay, I'll tell you what it means. Exactly! That's exactly it, Ahuba. Because we're saying Hadarasvamuna. It means like how great Hashem is. We say who gets all of the honor in the world, right? Who gets all of the glory? Who has all the faith, right? Who? Who is it? The whole crowd says to them and soy to who, to who, to who, to who? And the answer is Le Khayolamim. Sounds like you're blowing a show far. Yeah, to who, to who? So Lachayolam means he who lives forever. And we're talking about Hashem. So who gets all the honor? Who gets all the glory? Who gets all the things that are so special? Hashem. Right? Next time you sing the song, you're gonna sing to who, to who. Okay?
SPEAKER_04:Actually, we get all the stuff that are special.
SPEAKER_05:What does that mean? You're right. We feel like we're the ones that are so lucky. But you know what? Simcha's Torah is like a wedding between the Jewish people and Hashem and the dancing. It's like that's why we hold the Talisim up like a chuppa. Because we love Hashem so much, and Hashem loves us. So we both feel like we got the better end of the deal. We feel like we're so lucky that we have the Torah mitzvos, and Hashem feels like I'm so lucky that I have you. Uh-huh. Totally. Question number four. What do we start saying in our Davening on Shmini Atsares? It says in the sitter, please start saying this on Shmini Atsares. What do we start saying in Davening? Hint hint, it's in Shmona S. Ray. What do we start saying in Davening in Shmona S-Ray from Shmini Atsares? Who has an answer?
SPEAKER_04:We have an answer. Say like bracha instead of something. Oh, you say like seven stuff differently.
SPEAKER_05:What do we say? We say Mechay me semata ravlo hoshia. Well, no no no, before you start saying Yes. Mashavruah Gashem. Don't forget it because if you forget it, you need to say Shhmona Sray all over again. So we say Tfilas Geshem, the whole shoul Savans for Gashem, and then we start saying it in our Shmona Sray. If you knew Mashavurah Murrah Gashem, give yourself one point. Number five. What do you call a man who writes a safer Torah? What do you call a man who writes a safer Torah?
SPEAKER_01:Sopher! Dulfer!
SPEAKER_05:That's right, you both knew it. In English, we would call it a scribe.
SPEAKER_02:He was known in Kiev as younger scribe.
SPEAKER_05:If I asked the scribe to describe themselves, that would be really weird, right? If I said, hello, scribe, can you describe yourself? What do you think they would say? We write books. We write with a feather ink and quill. If you gotta so forgive yourself one point. Question number six. This is my favorite part of Simchas Torah, okay? What do we sing in shool? What does everybody sing in shol? This is a min hug that many shools do. What do we sing in shool during the aliyah of kol na arim? They say, all the kids, kol na arim, all the kids come under the talus, and everyone makes like this massive canopy of tons of talism. Rosie, do you know what I'm talking about? No. No? Leora, do you remember it?
SPEAKER_04:Exactly what song you're talking about.
SPEAKER_05:You know what I'm talking about? And it's very emotional.
SPEAKER_04:What's the small mommy? Do you remember when Devorah started crying because she thought she um needed to be?
SPEAKER_05:Yes, I do remember that. I remember when Devor was like two years old, Abba took her underneath the talus for Colin Arm and she started crying because she thought it was bedtime because they were singing Hamalach. We were like, no, don't worry, it's not bedtime. And she was like, Meanwhile, I just thought she was emotional because it's emotional. It's so special when you see so many kids that are underneath the talus together. It's very beautiful. If you knew that, give yourself one point. Question number seven: in the Besa Mikdash, there was a special thing that happened during the times of the Besah Mikdash. In the Besa Mikdash, what was poured on the Mizbayach on Sucas? They would pour something on the Mizbayach. It was a big event, the happiest event of the year. What was poured on the Mizbayach in the Besah Mikdash on Sucus? At the happiest event of the year. Apparently, this is you've never seen anything happy if you've never experienced this. What did they pour?
SPEAKER_04:I know everything that happens. I know the order.
SPEAKER_05:Tell us. Please tell us.
SPEAKER_04:Right by the ear. First, the the showcane, um, or the corn goddamn, I'm not sure which one. Um, checks uh an animal and then they pour wine down this hole, and then they bite a manora or something like that, and then they start dancing, and then everybody like gathers around to see the rub.
SPEAKER_05:Does they pour wine or they pour water?
SPEAKER_04:I think they pour water down the hole, but they have wine in a cup or something like that.
SPEAKER_05:So the big deal about their pouring is water.
SPEAKER_04:I was gonna say water.
SPEAKER_05:The answer is water. But it sounds like you learned a lot of details.
SPEAKER_04:We did wine and water.
SPEAKER_05:So, water is the answer we're looking for. If you said water, give yourself a point. I wonder if this such, I hope that we'll be able to experience that kind of joy in RB Sumic Dash once more. That would be so cool. Hello, imagine being a kid during that time. Like it was probably the most fun thing in the whole world. I could just imagine happiness and dancing. They would probably have like cotton candy and snow cones, you know? Question number eight. What is the traditional order of shaking your Lulu and S robe? Do you shake it around your head? Do you shake it on the ground? What do you do with your Lulu and S robe? Give me the order of the directions that you shake your Lulu and S rogue or your et rogue.
SPEAKER_06:Lula.
SPEAKER_05:One of my sisters was born before Sucus, and we I remember when she was a newborn, we were like trying to guess what my parents were gonna name her. So we said maybe her name will be Lulavi, or maybe her name will be Etrogi. What's her name? Her name is Tamar because a Lulav comes from a palm tree, Kapostmarim. So her name actually did end up having something to do with Sucus. So it wasn't so crazy that we were making guesses.
SPEAKER_04:Could have been Esther because Esrogue.
SPEAKER_05:Right, but then we might as well name her Esrogue. By the way, like Esrogue could be a very cute name.
SPEAKER_04:Es lug!
SPEAKER_05:I don't know. I think it's cute. I think it's cute. Like, imagine you had a little baby and you're like, her name is Esrogue.
SPEAKER_04:Like Rabbi Esro Goldberg, Rabbi Esrog Goldberg.
SPEAKER_05:That would be a boys' version of it, though.
SPEAKER_03:Or you could say Lulove and call her Lily.
SPEAKER_05:Lulu is a very cute name. It's like Lulu.
SPEAKER_03:Lulu. Lulu and Es Rogue Price.
SPEAKER_05:That would actually be very cute. Imagine they were twins. Imagine twins born on success. Lulu love and Esrogue. Or you could say Hadal Sucus if I doss in. That's too normal for us.
SPEAKER_04:Moetili. Sometimes people call me that. Lulu.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, I call you that sometimes, Leo Rulu. Okay, tackless, tackless, tackless, ladies and gentlemen.
SPEAKER_02:Order in the court.
SPEAKER_05:Please tell me the order of shaking a Lulu of an as rogue. Who's ready to start?
SPEAKER_02:Us.
SPEAKER_05:Let's go. Xavi's gonna start.
SPEAKER_02:Right, left, up, down, forward, backward.
SPEAKER_05:Right, left, up, down, forward, backward. Okay, what are you gonna say?
SPEAKER_04:Backward, forward, backward, forward.
SPEAKER_05:Backward, forward. Okay, Devora, what's your guess?
SPEAKER_04:Side, side. No, up, down, side, side, back, forward.
SPEAKER_05:The answer to this question is gonna have to do with what your family does. Check with your elders and check with the min hug specialists in your family.
SPEAKER_04:What are min hug specialists?
SPEAKER_05:You haven't done it in almost 365 days, so it's totally understandable. And by the way, just a little disclaimer, I'm gonna be very honest right now. Every single time I hold a loot love and estrogue, I have to ask like somebody near me, like, am I doing it upside down? Which hand does it go in? And a lot of times, my kids actually, you guys usually help me because you learned it just in school, and I didn't go to school for a long time. So sometimes they get a little discomfobulated. If you got your order correct, give yourself a point. Question number nine. What is the day called right after some chastor is finished? What do we call the next day?
SPEAKER_04:Today we started to hill a marmy.
SPEAKER_05:Ooh, yes, what is that day called? So I want you to think about it. What is that day called the day following Simchas Torah? Sunday. It has a name. It's not Tokus anymore. And the answer is who wants to say? Ahuva, do you know it?
SPEAKER_04:The other team should go first. I think we have a guest, but we're not sure.
SPEAKER_05:That's okay.
SPEAKER_04:Shminy Nataris.
SPEAKER_05:No. Outside of our ethicsrael, Shminat Taras and Semchastora are actually separate days, but it would be Shminatzaris and then Samchastora. And then the next day, when it's not Yantif anymore, what's that day called? The next day. The answer is. Oh, we might know actually. We might know. Isruchag Isruchag.
SPEAKER_02:I was gonna say that.
SPEAKER_05:I was like, Hashem says, I wanna be with you another day. One more day. Such an emotional time because Hashem got to be with us for the whole L when he was like the king in the field. And then it was Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and then Sukhis, and then Shmeyat Tara sent some castora. He's like, I'm still here, but like this closeness is not gonna be the same. You know, it's hard for Hashem. If you got that day right, Isrucha, give yourself one point. And now the final question. Question number 10. True or false? I'm gonna say a statement, and you're gonna tell me if it's true or not true. True or false? The statement is such is the name of a place. Sucose, sukus, is the name of a place. Is that true or false?
SPEAKER_04:Interesting thing, so it's probably true. Why would she say that things?
SPEAKER_05:I like your reasoning. You said it's probably true, because otherwise, why would she say that? Who wants to go first? MS or Shakar? True or false?
SPEAKER_04:True.
SPEAKER_05:Rosie votes for true.
SPEAKER_04:Not for Kamala.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, we're not doing elections right now. Let's keep politics out of this. Rosie says it's true. She says it's true that Sukkos is the name of a place. What do you guys say? True. The answer is true. It's in the Hummus. It's in the Hummush. When the Jews left Mitzrayam, their second stop was in a place called Sukkos. They were on the way to the Yamsa. If you got that right, true or false question, and you got true, then you give yourself a point. And now I want you to count up all of your points from this round, and then you'll add the numbers together. Okay? So that you have one big score for the end of the game. Count in whatever language you know.
SPEAKER_04:Good.
SPEAKER_05:You can count in Hebrew.
SPEAKER_04:Arba Arba S R S.
SPEAKER_05:Do you know how to count in Portuguese?
SPEAKER_04:Um yeah. I just count in Spanish.
SPEAKER_05:That's Spanish. Portuguese is um do trois quatro cinco seis. You just know how to count backwards. I may or may not have used Google Translate.
SPEAKER_04:I know how to count backwards.
SPEAKER_05:Oh my gosh, let me hear you count backwards. Let's hear final scores. Super stra. Final score.
SPEAKER_04:27. We also have 27.
SPEAKER_05:No way!
SPEAKER_04:Tiebreaker! We need to do another question.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, we need to do another question. Oh boy, tiebreaker. I think we should keep it a tie. That's so nice and cute. You know, we don't do ties on purpose. I think like we can play fair and square, but if it's a tie, it's a tie. But to say that you tied. Like ani mom and by tie. Great one, mom. You like that one? I thought it was a little cheesy. Well, you guys have been such a fun group of contestants. I wanna give you each an opportunity to wish the ailam a good yantif or moadim la simcha.
