Starting with Cole winning three provincial championships with the John Barsby football program, then playing for his hometown VI Raiders and being named a two time CJFL All Canadian. Cole decided to make the jump to USports and sign with the university of St Francis Xavier in Antigonish Nova Scotia, after his playing career came to an end in 2021 Cole began coaching for the STFX football team.
