His career spans telecommunications, data centers, MSPs, healthcare, hospitality, finance, banking, and retail, where he built a strong problem-solving mindset and passion for reliable connectivity. Recently, he transitioned into a management role, applying his technical foundation to lead teams, align initiatives with business goals, and bridge engineering with leadership.
Pat is the creator of Layer8packet, a blog and newsletter focused on the intersection of network engineering and management, sharing insights from technical deep dives to leadership strategies with a rapidly growing audience.
Outside of work, he runs a BBQ side business and is developing a comic book—creative outlets that complement his technology-focused career.
