Teacher O

Teacher O is an 8th grade English teacher in NYC who has worked in 5-12th grade classrooms, youth organizing, state-level education policy in the seven years since she began teaching. Having taught in Title I traditional public, charter, middle, and high schools, she joins her personal stories with her graduate level training in secondary education, urban education policy and school leadership for the conversations we hear on the podcast.

Teacher O is a proud auntie of seven amazing humans, loves to eat yummy food, listen to music with great vibes, sing in her church's gospel choir, and dance to songs in her head while waiting in line.

She is a graduate of Brown University and currently enrolled at Columbia University's Teachers College.
