So April is #StressAwarenessMonth raising awareness of the causes and cures for our modern-day stress epidemic. It is the time when we have an opportunity for an open conversation on the impact of stress. This year’s theme ‘Little By Little, A Little Becomes A Lot’ conveys that small consistent actions each day contribute to overall wellbeing as a cumulative effect.
The Stress Management Society is encouraging you to look deeper into what actions you can take to create a change in your personal and professional life. One way is to take part in their One Day at a Time: Daily Wellness Challenge and pick one action for your physical, mental and emotional well-being to carry out each day of the month. Other things you can do are share your own coping mechanisms and what has worked for you.
For more information about the One Day at a Time: Daily Wellness Challenge and to test your stress levels online visit stress.org.uk.

#WalktoWorkDay on 5th April encouraging us all to put our trainers on and get moving. #WorldHealthDay on 7th April. Founded by the World Health Organisation, World Health Day promotes health, keeping the world safe and serving the vulnerable – so everyone, everywhere can attain the highest level of health and well-being. This year’s theme 'My health, my right’ was chosen to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.
