#ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth is dedicated to raising support, funding, and awareness for childhood cancers and the profound impact they have on young patients and their families. Launched in 1990, 2024 marks the 34th anniversary of this crucial initiative with the theme: ‘Hug with Hope’. This year, we encourage everyone to share a meaningful hug photo using #ChildrenwithCancerUK to show solidarity and support. Overall, this day reminds us that simple acts of charity can alleviate the worst effects of humanitarian crises and create more inclusive and resilient societies.

#SexualHealthWeek runs from September 9th to 15th, focusing on raising awareness of sexual health. The 2024 theme, ‘Playing it Safe,’ leverages nearly 60 years of safeguarding experience to highlight the connections between mental and sexual health. This year’s campaign amplifies the voices of those facing health inequalities, including neurodivergent individuals. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay on September 10th brings together suicide prevention and mental health organizations under the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) to promote global action aimed at preventing suicides. This day serves as a reminder that suicide is a major, preventable cause of premature death. A variety of events and activities will be held to spread awareness.
