Kendra Jacobs is an elementary school teacher and adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. She loves to explore how learners mathematize their worlds and change their relationships with mathematics. She is deeply passionate about reducing math anxiety in both children and educators alike. Kendra works alongside teachers to empower them to find joy in teaching math, creating an alignment of literacy and numeracy structures in the classroom which supports belonging, inclusion and self-regulation.
