Peace, peace, peace. You know, tap in with Supreme Manda Podcast, where we inform and inspire. I'm the host and creator, Supreme Manda, the self-made God, Supreme Being, Supreme Energy, Supreme Thoughts, Supreme Vibes, Supreme Ma, Supreme Honda Podcast. Let's build. Season two, Episode 12. Emotional triggers reveal truth. Or peace to every man, woman, and child. Everybody that's out there listening. Wherever you listening from. Gratitude for listening. And for everybody that has been consistently checking me out. Um and you know, um just lending me your air to help you think from a philosophical perspective, specifically my perspective. Um Peace to y'all. Well I'm grateful for your time. So we're gonna talk about emotional triggers. An emotional trigger is anything, a comment, memory, or sensory experience that sparks a sudden intense emotion reaction disconnected from the present moment's reality. Take note of that, that's deep. Let me read it again. An emotional trigger is anything, a comment, memory, or sensory experience that sparks a sudden intense emotional reaction disconnected from the present moment's reality. Long story short, heightened levels of anger, fear, sadness, or anxiety. Right, due to a comment, a memory, you know what I'm saying, or something that you've just experienced. All right, so let's build so being emotionally triggered is something common, right? Because a lot of us haven't emotionally healed, mentally healed, right? A lot of us haven't healed in any form, right? And the heart is considered the first brain in a sense because it has more neurons than your actual brain. So that means that most times that you make a decision, or when you're making a decision, you're making a decision from the heart. And we know the heart is in relation to your emotions, right? And your feelings are interpretations of those emotions, and when you know things are said or done, you know, you're emotionally triggered because it's bringing you back to an ex something you experienced that you didn't hear from. Check it out. Emotional intelligence is the first episode on season one. Right? So go check that out. And right, so when you possess emotional intelligence, you won't allow how you feel about your emotions dictate your movements. I'll give you an example. Someone says something to piss you off. You know what I mean? That hit strikes a nerve, that's a trigger. You don't cuss them out or hit them, that's having emotional intelligence. You're not letting what you feel about these emotions control you. Yeah, you want to punch them in the mouth because you were triggered, it strike the nerve. And maybe it was around people, they disrespected you, belittled you, you know, made you feel of no value, however you want to put it. And, you know, you felt some type of way. That's because you were emotionally triggered. That's why you felt some type of way. Feelings are the interpretation or your emotions. Feel me. Your feelings interpret your emotions. So the route to how you feel is based off of your emotions, right? So it leads back to what? Emotional intelligence. Feel me. You have to be emotionally aware of how you feel, what you feel, and why you feel it. Write that down. What you feel, why you feel be aware of your feelings in general. What you feel, how you feel, and why. You know what I'm saying? So your emotions are a big thing when it comes to just who you are as a person. You can't, you can't like just elude your emotions. You can't hide them, tuck them. I mean, you can, you know, you can pretend nothing's wrong, you know. You can act like nothing's wrong. People ask you how you feel, you can say you're fine and all that, but in all reality, you can't escape your emotions, right? And that's why people have high anxiety or be sad, depressed, you feel me, or and or fearful, right? Because they're not emotionally stable, right? They have been emotionally scarred. They have been through experiences that hurt them emotionally. So now when you don't heal from those emotional scars, you have triggers. Right? Or you can say, you know, strike, you know, strike a nerve, all that same thing. Right? Emotionally triggered. But I think that would be the technical term for it versus striking a nerve. Like, you know what I'm saying? That's like metaphorically speaking, but emotionally triggered is the root. Like that's straight to the point. So when people get angry, a lot of times, they're emotionally triggered. There's no doubt about it. And again, our heart has mu more neurons than our actual brains. Well, and I speak on that in one of the EQ series. One of the EQ series episodes, right? But you gotta go check it out to find out which one. You feel me? Your emotions are a main part of you because your heart is a main part of you, a main organ. You know what I'm saying? And you must take care of these emotions. You must nurture your emotions, right? Or you're gonna allow things, people, first of all, and things to affect your life, so to speak, right? Your feelings are gonna be all out of whack, your emotions are gonna be, you know, always triggered. Feel I'm saying, which means that you don't have no control over yourself, so to speak, because you don't have emotional intelligence. Because if you had emotional intelligence, you wouldn't be emotionally triggered. Feel what I'm saying? And if you no, I'm gonna stick to that. But that's saying two different things. So you gotta, you're either doing one or the other. Like you're either able to manage the emotional trigger or you're not. You know what I'm saying? And one of the pillars of emotional intelligence is self-management. So you're able to manage your emotions in times of in times of disrespect or insults, comparisons, you know, so on and so forth. All right. If you haven't checked out the previous episode, season two, episode 11, go check out Divine Masculine featuring the guard, brother Nasea. Peace to you, look. It was a great um experience to get to know the king, man. Or peace to you, Lord, and everything. You having um rotation, your cipher and the cipher word piece. And he got a book out too called Apology to the Black Woman. It's on Amazon. Go check it out. Paperback and Kindle. Well, shout out to that. So, yeah, you have to you have to be emotionally stable to be able to get the best out of life, right? Because you're not able to control people. You can't control people's actions, what they do, what they say, how they move. You know what I'm saying? You could control and should be in control of who you allow in your life. Feel what I'm saying? Because that's pretty much it. If you allow the wrong people in your life, then of course you'll be emotionally triggered. You feel what I'm saying? You're gonna be, you know, pretty much you know, in positions where you know you always at odds with someone, and that shouldn't be. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, if you're around at least people that have emotional intelligence, so to speak, then you know, you'll probably be able to try to manage in those moments because an emotional intelligent person will be able to help guide you, you feel I'm saying, through you know, difficult situations where you're dealing with, you know, anger, you're dealing with anxiety, you know what I'm saying, depression, sadness, or things like that. So, you know, you'll have somebody that can sense it, see it, you know what I mean, and be able to support you. So most importantly, it's good to have it for yourself. But again, if you don't have like righteous people and authentic people in your life, you know, it's gonna make it harder for you to actually manage your emotions, especially if you don't have emotional intelligence. Feel me? You're always emotionally triggered. You know what I mean? So I would say, if anything, try to work on that for yourself. You know what I'm saying? And be around people that have emotional intelligence. Because that'll help you be able to take accountability for the times where you realize that you reacted, you know, out of emotions because you were triggered. Feel I'm saying, and that's what people that have emotional intelligence did. They took account for themselves, their actions, things they said, did that, you know, they weren't proud of. So they made the change. And I'm speaking of me, I'm people. You know what I'm saying? I've made many changes to who I am as I continue to grow because you know, I became more aware of the things and was able to accept the things about myself that you know I didn't like, so to speak. That I wasn't proud of that, you know, I felt as though that I could improve in that area, and I did so. You know what I mean? So you know, awareness is definitely the key to anything you're trying to achieve for yourself. That's first and foremost. Like, that's anything. But you know, you you gotta want to do it for yourself. You have to be the one to be willing, be diligent, be consistent in being accountable for yourself, for your actions, for things that you say, for your emotions, so to speak, right? You know what I mean? Even if you don't react to people, you are reacting within yourself. So that means just suppressing your anger or your sadness or you know, your depression. Like, you know, you're trying to hide it. And all reality, you can't hide it from yourself. You can't. Again, you can't get away from yourself, right? You can't. You know what I mean? So there's ways to manage yourself. You just have to want to do it, you know what I'm saying? And you have to, you know, actually do it and be consistent, you know what I mean? And be disciplined and make sure that you're always introspecting yourself means checking yourself, inspecting yourself to make sure that you know you're moving accordingly, you know what I'm saying? With yourself first and foremost, and the people that are in your life, you know what I'm saying? So that's first and foremost. That's what you that's what you need to do. That's why I recommend you do if you're trying to gain some type of emotional intelligence, you know what I'm saying, to not be controlled by your triggers, right? Things that affect you emotionally, you know what I'm saying? Like, so part of self. No nigga, fresh gulp of water, you know what I mean? Um, so you know, you can definitely do it, trust me, you can do it. I speak on a lot of episodes and how at a time I was very impulsive. You know what I'm saying? Very reactive, not responsive. There's a difference. Being reactive means anything anybody say or do, you want 10 already. You feel me? Um being responsive is actually taking a minute to think about how you want to respond. You feel what I'm saying? And like, you know what I mean? Like, am I gonna flip out or am I just gonna be cordial, calm, and collect, and really like not, you know, let my emotions control this experience. Feel what I'm saying? And you don't see the thing is, like, when we in these times and in these moments, like, we we gotta realize we're in control of ourselves or supposed to be. So you don't have to react to anybody. Like, you have the you have the right and liberty and freedom to choose what you want to do or not do. So in that moment, you don't have to move. Like, you don't have to say nothing. Like, you can just stand there and you know, think about it. But maybe that's not cool enough. You know what I'm saying? People are not really too privy or you know what I mean, feel like that's the hood way, or you know, that's the real way to do it. But whatever you want to say, it's the wise thing to do. You feel what I'm saying? And I want to move wise with what I know. I'm gonna, you know what I'm saying? I'm gonna bring forth understanding. Because if I move wise with my knowledge properly, with the proper knowledge, you feel what I'm saying, and utilize that proper knowledge wisely, I'll I'm able to bring forth understanding to what's going on. People, places, things, and now, since once I learned that information and was able to apply it wisely, and now I understand, you know what I mean? You know, I had complete comprehension of people place or think, or that situation, or that experience. So now I'm able to set the example, right? Now I'm able to share what I know wisely to bring forth understanding, meaning others others would understand me based upon what I'm sharing wisely. Like how I'm sharing information with you about emotional triggers. You feel me? So I pride myself in being knowledgeable, wise, with understanding, understanding, and overstanding of myself, those around me, and the universe. And most of all, right, to do that, you you have to practice self-mastery by mastering yourself, doing the knowledge to yourself, first and foremost, right? And that's doing the knowledge to your mental, your physical, your spiritual, and your emotional, right? Again, your physical, your mental, your spiritual, your spiritual, your physical, your mental, your emotional, in any order. But it's usually mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, right? All four of those parts you need to discover. Right? You need to research, you feel me? You need to be aware of your mind, you need to be aware of your body, you need to be aware of your emotions, you need to be aware of your spirituality. Because even if you think you don't possess a spirituality, you do, because you're a spirit being in a vessel. Right? When you die, your body goes on the ground, but your spirit is not in the ground. You're a spirit. Feel me? Having an earthly experience, you know what I mean? So having the awareness of the aspects of you in those four parts and just your entirety, those around you in your universe, is the complete guide on how to live out your life in its highest form, in its purest form. You know what I'm saying? That's you know, conducive to, you know, something that's enjoyable, that's fulfilling, you know what I'm saying, with purpose. Right? And when we talk about purpose, you know, it it's not gonna be a job, you know what I'm saying? Like, and I'm not saying a pacific job, you know what I mean? Because if that's what you love to do in that specific field, then you're not technically working, right? When you when you You love what you do, you're not working, right? So don't get that out of context when people say that as if like they're, you know, frowning upon working or being a, you know, a working individual. Like everybody is not built to run a business, and everybody doesn't have a business. And, you know, companies wouldn't be what they are sometimes without a person being, you know, a worker, not an owner. You feel what I'm saying? But your emotions play a pivotal part, you know what I mean, in your your your entire life. And by knowing your emotions, you're in the best position to be able to understand them. Right? Because if you know them, then you can start working on them and figure out why they're there, what they're saying, actually. You know what I'm saying? And only you will know that. Only you. Can't nobody else tell you why you feel how you feel, unless that person experienced certain experiences with you and gained some emotional intelligence, and you know, they're able to, you know, give you their perspective based upon what they feel. But at the same time, I feel like if they was there and experienced, you know, a situation with you, then I'm quite sure that they felt the same way too. Not exactly the same way. If it was traumatic, then I'm sure they felt the trauma in the way they felt the trauma. You feel what I'm saying? But it still was trauma, what I'm saying. So, you know, they can still, you know, interpret why you possibly feel that way. You know what I mean? Because you experienced it with them, you know what I'm saying? You're not gonna feel the same, but it's still the same feeling and or emotion, I should say. And dealing with your emotions as a man is something that's looked at as weakness. You know what I'm saying? Like setting boundaries, um you know, really allowing how you feel to you know, be in its highest form. Meaning, you know, you f you feel things, right? And and it's not it it's not not a manly thing in the matrix of the world to feel, you know what I'm saying? To have emotions. You know what I mean? And when we bottle up our emotions, we know what happened, right? We're violent. And we're just on a path of destruction, right? Because we're not at peace. And if you don't feel peace, you won't be peaceful. Don't let nobody fool you. If you don't possess it, right, you can't operate in it, neither can you give it. Right? So if you don't possess internal peace, peace of mind, right? Peace of body, peace in your body. You know what I'm saying? Peaceful emotions, you know what I mean? Being emotionally stable with emotional intelligence, then you're not, you know what I'm saying? You're not gonna be operating, you know, in peace, in calm. You're not gonna be operating in, you know, in understanding and love. You're gonna be operating in fight or flight mode, right? You're operating in survival mode. That's what you're operating at. So be careful with yourself, first and foremost, right? Because if you value yourself, then you should be able to be accountable for yourself, right? And being accountable means that you're of value. You're not gonna just do anything, say anything, or be anywhere, right? Because you value yourself. You're gonna put yourself in the best positions possible, right? Because you're an asset, not a liability. So you put yourself in positive situations that build on, build and add on to yourself, part and so. You know what I mean? Do things that help you improve mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You know what I mean? And some examples I already gave, but I'll start breaking that down. One would be feelings of criticism or being judged, right? You're not tall enough, you're not light enough, too dark, too big, right? Too small. Right. You don't work fast enough. Right? You don't look like this, or you don't look like that, your hair's not straight enough, your hair's not long enough, your teeth not white enough, your teeth not straight enough, right? You're not strong enough, things like that. That, you know, can be damaging to a person's emotions and their mind, you know what I'm saying? To be criticized and or judged, you know what I mean, like on a consistent basis, every time you either make a mistake or just in general, like that is just demeaning, you know what I'm saying, in every sense of the word. Or but having emotional intelligence will enable you to remain neutral when these things happen, right? Because it's going to happen. It's people that don't have emotional intelligence, they are emotionally tricky. That's why these episodes, you know, are valuable, all of them, because they're real life situations. I speak on real life, right? In the very moment, in real time of things I've experienced, most of all, seen, heard, done, don't do. Alright? So again, Supreme Handle Podcast, informing inspired, giving you my philosophical perspective. You know what I'm saying? So take heed. Regardless of how you feel about what I'm saying, because if you feel some type of way, then that means you have some you're either emotionally triggered, or you're emotionally intelligent. So if you're emotionally triggered and feel some type of way about what I'm saying, that means you should check yourself. I just gave you a real simple guide previously on how to, you know, start to tap in with your emotions and manage them to gain emotional intelligence. You feel me? But if you already have emotional intelligence, you're like, mm-hmm, yeah, world, I feel you. You know what I mean? Like, you you understand, overstand what I'm saying. You understand what I'm saying, you feel me? Peace of the wisdom understanding, world. Peace of divine understanding. Well, peace of the nation of gods and earth. Alright. I'd like to hear the sound of my voice. Well, so another example, the second example will be perceived rejection or abandonment. You know what I'm saying? And you know, we also statistically say that men don't perceive rejection or receive rejection well. All right, they well, I I think it could be both perceived. It could be it could be perceived too. Cause your perspective on what someone else's perspective or opinion is shouldn't fucking matter. Like our perspectives might be different, and that's fine. They may, you know, you may feel like what you're saying or how you came off to the female, you know, was right and exact. You know, what you were saying was true, was real, in so many words, you feel me? And lame's and you know, and and regular talk. Um, so and she not feeling that. You know what I mean? Then work for her, whether it's what you said, your appearance, whatever, that shouldn't that shouldn't change your value of yourself and how you feel towards yourself. Like, why would it? Like, that don't make sense. That means that you're not secure, and neither are your emotions. You feel what I'm saying? If you're insecure insecure, this you're definitely emotionally triggered, and the type of person that don't take rejection well. You know what I'm saying? In any form, even if it's, you know, not necessarily a male and a female situation. Like, you know, for instance, any anyone, a male or a female, you know, they made plans with a person, you know what I mean, and they canceled. Right? You feel rejected, or you feel abandoned, like, oh, this motherfucker, you know what I'm saying, didn't want to go out with me anyway. You know what I'm saying? Like you just really assuming shit because you're emotionally triggered. You feel abandoned or rejected because of an experience you may have experienced before where you're rejected or abandoned. You know what I'm saying? Or the first example, you were criticized or judged. And you never forgot how that shit felt. I overstand that. Or you know what I mean? I've been criticized, I've been judged, you know what I'm saying? I've been rejected and abandoned. You know what I mean? But one thing about me, regardless of you know, having emotional intelligence or not, like anytime I was rejected from um by a female, I've, you know, I ain't cuss it out, I ain't flip out. You know what I mean? I probably was upset with myself, like, damn, I couldn't even bag Shorty. You know what I'm saying? So other than that, like, you know, I keep it moving. I ain't gonna press you. So love. You know what I'm saying? Like, I realized, like, you, you know, you're not feeling me. Like, I got that at an early age. All right, cool. I may have not dealt with it again internally. Like I said, we can't get away from how we feel or our emotions. So, you know, I may have felt some type of way towards it, but I didn't react. You know what I'm saying? Out of pocket. So, but that doesn't mean, again, silently, you're not, you know, battling with yourself, putting yourself down along with the person that rejected or abandoned you or criticized or judged you. Like you're you, you know, you're helping, you know, them do, you know, to you what you think they're doing. You feel what I'm saying? Just based upon your emotions not being attacked, but they're really not doing anything to you, but showing you who they are, so to speak. You feel what I'm saying? Like, and sometimes it's not them, it's you. You're just unable to accept truth. You know what I'm saying? It's one or the other. All right. Let's get into the final and third example. Loss of control or unpredictability. You know what I mean? That's a big one. What you think I'm talking about. The loss of control or unpredictability. I would say the first loss of control. People that can't control your movements and what you do and how you do it, they don't like that. That's an emotional trigger for a lot of people, right? Because they feel like, oh, they know I like them, they know how I feel about them. So why would they do that? Why would they do what? Be themselves? So you like them that they're themselves. You acknowledge they're themselves and they're authentic. But when they're this, when they're themselves with you, when it's directly, you know, with you and this person in real time, then you're oblivious to this person just being authentic, right? You don't accept that. Right. That's selective. That's a person that needs to gain more emotional intelligence or emotional intelligence in general if they don't have any at all. You know what I'm saying? Because you're not gonna control me, and you shouldn't allow people to control you, right? I set boundaries, like, you know what I'm saying? In every relationship, whether it's family, relatives, yeah, there's a difference, that episode is coming. Or, you know, platonic friends. You know what I mean? And or, you know, significant others. You dig what I'm saying? Or if you, you know what I mean, you're single and you just, you know, you vibing with somebody, so to speak. That's what I would say. You feel what I'm saying? Like, you can't control them, man. You can't control them. And they shouldn't be trying to control you. Right? It go both ways. You know what I'm saying? Y'all respect each other and leave it at that. You know what I'm saying? Like, respect the time you get with that person, while you spend the time with that person, be grateful, and you know, leave it at that. But people don't like to not have control. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, control is a big thing. Control is power, like a motherfucker, for real. You know what I mean? Having control in general is complete power. You know what I'm saying? Like being able to choose, right? It's having control. So you have the control and power to choose to allow an emotion to make you feel a certain type of way. You know what I mean? And then at the same time, you feeling some type of way is not a bad thing. Let me just say that. You can feel some type of way, but don't let it have you moving out of pocket. Don't have it, you know, making you do things you shouldn't do, is what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying? Don't allow it to emotionally trigger you. Feel what I'm saying? Learn what those feelings mean because your feelings are interpretation of your emotions. So what you feel, that's the definition. Figure out what that feeling is saying. And there you go. You know what I mean? And being unpredictable is, you know, again, a lack of control because you can't control what this person's doing. You know what I mean? They're not telling you their every move, you don't know their schedule, they ain't give you their schedule. You know what I'm saying? And things come up. You know what I mean? You may have to change plans, you know what I'm saying? You may have to reschedule, or you may have to like pause or delete yourself or step out of people's lives for however you long you need to. Indefinite, some months, years, whatever you feel. You feel what I'm saying? But that feeling won't be understood unless you have emotional intelligence. That's how you figure out your feelings by gaining emotional intelligence, being aware of your emotions to interpret them, to know why you feel the way you feel. Right? And you gotta deal with that, but not with anger, right? Or anxiety, or depression, or sadness, right? Because you're gonna think so many things, right? And you're just the observer. And you get to choose again, you have control, you have that power to choose, right, how you feel or what you feel. Not what you feel, how you feel. Sometimes you're gonna feel emotions you probably never felt felt in certain, you know what I'm saying, experiences. And that what woke me up because it was situation, you know, it was a situation in particular that like just hurt me. I, you know what I mean? I even realized it was gonna hurt like that, but it hurt straight up. You know what I'm saying? And I learned from that shit. And I would not remove it. Like, I don't regret it. You feel what I'm saying? Like it taught it taught me so much, taught me so much about myself. Word, you know what I mean? So we have to look at it as lessons again. Jewels, this is jewelry I'm putting on your neck for free. You know what I'm saying? There's some episodes you gotta subscribe to, but I got a lot of free jewelry out here, two seasons of it, you know what I'm saying? Go check it out. Word up. So being emotionally intelligent is the key to living out life happy, right? And peace freedom and equality. Wow. Pretty much everything you need from an internal standpoint, right? Because it's how you live on the inside that is a reflection of your outside world, right? So who you are on the inside will show itself on the external, right? So you make sure you manage your inside, your internal self, your eternal self, right? Your spiritual self more than your outside, right? Because it's not vice versa, it's not what you do in the world that's gonna change the world as you see it or know it, or change anything inside. You stuff, you have to start inside first, because that's what will reflect outside, right? The inside world, the outside world is a reflection of the inside. We have to we have to keep that in mind, or the external world is a reflection of your internal world, right? That's why everybody's life is different, because it's their perception of themselves internally, is how they're living out their life. And if they're living their own life, meaning, are they just following what everybody else did? Their parents, family members, friends, whoever they may be influenced by. Maybe they, you know, following in their footsteps, literally. I ain't really living in fulfillment. That's not living free, right? It's not living somebody else's life or life, I should say, on repeat, pretty much. Like, because you're doing what they did, and you're not even them. You know what I mean? So you have to focus on you, stay focused on you and stop worrying about what everybody else is doing, saying how they're doing it, because it that's based upon their perception. You know what I'm saying? And whatever they build up in themselves, internally or externally, don't got nothing to do with you. It's not gonna affect you one way or the other. Right? So you're in control of that. Well, you should have control of that. And then you won't be emotionally triggered. Right? Because you'll be working on yourself, you'll be discovering yourself and figuring out why you say what you say, why you do what you do, why you feel the way you feel. Right? And just pretty much who you are is learning yourself. You know what I'm saying? Emotional intelligence is learning yourself. That's what that is, right? And emotional intelligence. Is free. It just caused consistency. That's all. It just caused consistency. And that's a high cause, but the value is worth the reward. Right? Or the reward is worth the value, right? If it's helping you improve, right? In any and every area. Because any area of your existence that you improve is gonna enhance another area, right? But you still have to work on those other areas, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. You have to work on those four parts. Those are four parts of your entire existence that you should know about, that you should be aware about. And if you don't know yourself, why don't you know yourself? You should be asking yourself. You know what I'm saying? But you have to want to do it. You can talk about doing it. You know, you can even listen to this episode and be like, Yeah, you're right. You're right, but you gotta, you know what I mean? You actually gotta go out here and do it. You actually gotta go out here and do what you need to do. You know what I mean? To not be emotionally triggered anymore. Right. Cause who wants to be emotionally triggered? I know I don't. It means I'm not in control of myself and someone else is controlling me. I mean someone else's actions or ways control me in some form or fashion. But why would I allow that to happen? Alright, why would I let that happen? The subconscious, right? If you have the habit of not managing your emotions, then you will be emotionally triggered. So like it's it's automatic, that's just how you're gonna react. But you can become conscious of the fact that you're emotionally triggered and start working on those emotions, you know what I'm saying? Upon and so but and when you figure that out, trust me, you'll feel so much better. So much better, all right, to have that control over yourself. Right? Having that self-control over yourself and being able to manage your emotions is one of the greatest things in life. Right? Cause you can just ignore the bullshit, because there's so much bullshit that goes on and so much people that be on bullshit, right? 85% of the world is deaf, dumb, and blonde. Which means they programmed by the Matrix. They programmed by the government, the news stations, andor religion. You know what I'm saying? Those are the three things that they distract us with and try to control us with, so to speak. But if you don't know yourself, those around you in the universe, then you won't know that, right? So that's why it's good in general to just be aware and have the knowledge of things, right? And, you know, that's just a mental thing. But the emotional part has to do with you. And really nobody else. You're supposed to be able to, you know what I mean, be the one managing your emotions and not allowing people to, you know, strike a nerve and this, that, and the third. Because then you might, you know what I mean, more than likely get yourself into situations that you can't get yourself out of, which is a violent experience. A lot of violence ends tragically, you know what I'm saying? Some people are able to, you know, not, you know what I mean, meet their demise, so to speak, but you know, sometimes they do. You know what I mean? And a lot, I felt like a lot of violent situations tended from people being emotionally triggered. Not, you know, having emotional intelligence, they were angry, they were depressed, they had anxiety about something, and, you know, they just reacted instead of taking the time to respond, which is giving yourself the time to decide what you want to do, how you're gonna do it. You know what I'm saying? Is it worth going off the deep end, or is it worth just chilling? You know what I'm saying? And I feel like it stems to, of course, it stems from the the awareness of yourself and how you feel about yourself. Like if you feel like you're valuable, you're not gonna just fly off the handle over shit to a certain extent because it's like, eh, that shit ain't even worth it. You know what I mean? Like, some sometimes a lot of situations is like best to be dealt with at most times without a reaction. Like, just let people be foolish, so to speak. Of course, it comes to physically protecting yourself, that's different. Don't take that as a game. Protect yourself. But all the mental shit, the mental jousting, and you know, a lot of the, you know, out of communication is non-verbal, shit like that. Like, just, you know, just gotta bob and weave that shit. Like, oh, these motherfuckers on some dumb shit. And just, you know, try to step around that shit, whether you know the person or not. You know what I'm saying? And then you just know now, now you're aware, you have the knowledge of who this person is. You know what I'm saying? Like, and sometimes people, sometimes your emotional triggers are feelings you need to figure out about people that you fuck with. That's that's another, you know what I'm saying? That's something deeper, you know what I'm saying? Before we go, that's a part of that too. It's not just you not having emotional intelligence, it's sometimes people, you know what I'm saying, showing you who they are, and you just don't like the feeling. But you gotta accept that shit, because if you don't accept it, then that means you're just gonna remain emotionally triggered by what people do or how this person is doing you instead of learning from what the feeling is telling you, because your feelings are interpretation of your emotions. So that's the definition of that feeling. So figure that out. Accept that shit, clip that person if you need to, meaning cut them off, or you know what I'm saying? You could, you know, you know how to move forward with this person, you know what I'm saying? Whether it's a conversation, whether you have to apologize or whatever, just you know, you know how to move forward, you know what I'm saying, with with whatever circumstance, you know what I'm saying, or experience that happened between you and this person. You know what I'm saying? Or it could be people, you know what I'm saying? Because some of us are black sheep of the family. You know what I'm saying? And a lot of times we get emotionally triggered just based upon, like, of course, you don't have no emotional intelligence. Oh, that shit is just, you know what I mean? Uh why wouldn't it strike a nerve? People that you love, you feel what I'm saying, moving funny as fuck. You know what I'm saying? Like just like, but you're able to see it now. See, before you was just it was, you know what I mean? It ain't really, really click. Like, it just was like, ah, yeah, damn. Like, you know what I'm saying? You always felt some type of way, like it was you. It really won you. No, you didn't necessarily have emotional intelligence, but again, that feeling wasn't for no reason. That shit was telling you that this person really wasn't right. And the fact that you didn't heal in the emotional department, you're gonna look down on yourself when these certain examples that I gave you come up. You know what I'm saying? When you feel rejected, when you're feeling judged, you know what I'm saying? Or when you feeling abandoned, or you don't have any control over what a person is doing, which you necessarily should, so to speak. You know what I'm saying? You should be controlling yourself. And if you feel as though you gotta control somebody, I don't think that's somebody you should be vibing with, or you just need to get your shit together. You shouldn't even really be even trying to be in a relationship with nobody. And I think a lot of times that's where shit get out of hand, too. When you in relationships when you ain't shit, and I'm not saying like you're a bad person, you out here fucking with people, but no, you you not you ain't together. Like your emotional department is closed, shut down. So anything you cold, so anything that's going down, you anything that happened that triggers your emotions, it's up. Like you just going all the way out. That's crazy. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's just crazy. Like, and as an adult, that's crazy, but even still, it's it's gonna it's gonna it's gonna set a deeper example and culture to the younger generation now. Like, oh all right, well, this is how to act. Like, cause that because that's what we do. This violent shit is emotional triggered. Like, you know what I mean? We emotional triggered, the culture just triggered. You feel what I'm saying? Because our emotions is fucked up. We don't know how to deal with shit. We don't know how to accept shit for what it is, suck it the fuck up, learn from it, and move the fuck on. We just want to sit on it, harbor it, front like we okay, act tough, get into bullshit for nothing, right? And then you already projecting because it's emotional intelligent people like me that already fucking see that shit already. Like, you like I see you. Feel me? And there's other people like me or that I put on that I vibe with, that you know what I'm saying? I'm able to allow them to lead themselves and find a leader in themselves, and now they up. You know what I'm saying? And they they level of thinking is up. They see y'all. Like, we see y'all. Y'all ain't hiding. That's why y'all got clipped. You feel me? Because we have emotional intelligence. We not triggered. We're able to manage our emotions, you feel what I'm saying? And we f refuse to be triggered or bothered by your bullshit. Feel I'm saying. So no, we not mad about nothing. You didn't trigger us. There's no triggers. Feel I'm saying, there's only emotional intelligence. With five pillars attached to that. You should get you some.
