Stand For It

It's All Good... Just As Long As You Don't Rock My Boat

Fred Castro, Shawn Willbanks Season 1 Episode 47

Send us a text

In this episode, Fred Castro and Shawn Wilbanks take a raw, unfiltered look at the current state of society, where too many are comfortable as long as their personal world isn’t disturbed. They talk about personal responsibility, the growing divide in common sense, the unchecked waste and corruption in government, and the cultural shift toward complacency. From personal stories about family, fitness, and facing adversity, to a broader conversation about accountability and standing up for what’s right, Fred and Shawn remind us: real change starts when you’re willing to have your boat rocked. They wrap it up with a nod to Bob Marley’s timeless message of unity, freedom, and resilience.

The change starts with you!

Fred (00:00.884)
All right, what is up guys? This is Fred Castro and Sean Wilbanks bringing you the Stand Forward podcast. Two real guys talking about real shit. The good, the bad and the ugly. And just like us, I'm sure you're wondering what is really going on in our society.

Shawn (00:15.438)
We need to get one thing straight, ladies and gentlemen, this is not about left versus right, black versus white, gay versus straight. Did I do it right?

Fred (00:24.064)
I don't know, but you pause. So what are you thinking?

Shawn (00:26.742)
I don't know, but we're just gonna keep going. It's about doing what's right. It's about being free men and women that stand for our country and we create change one person at a time. And that starts with you. Welcome to the Stand For Podcast. You know it's been so long. I don't use my notes, right? I just go off the head. Sometimes I get it right, sometimes I get it wrong.

Fred (00:46.644)
Yeah, there's not much up there.

Shawn (00:50.71)
Hey, take it easy buddy. Take it easy.

Fred (00:52.276)
You're doing a good job. I can't do it without my cheat sheet, even though it's very simple. I would say the same old same old, but not quite the same old same old anymore.

Shawn (00:57.058)
Yeah. That's all right. What's happening, bro?

Shawn (01:04.846)
Happy belated Easter. Resurrection Sunday has come and gone. He is risen. And yeah, did you hide your own Easter eggs this year?

Fred (01:10.548)
He has risen.

Fred (01:16.192)
I can't say that I did. Easter, we're almost like empty nesters now, so there was no Easter egg hunt.

Shawn (01:23.982)
You're empty nesters until they come back and you're not empty anymore

Fred (01:27.616)
right? So a little different Easter than normal, but it was a what I what I thought was pretty interesting is that all week last week was kind of gloomy and little on the cold side for springtime. But Saturday was probably the most beautiful day ever. Only topped by Sunday again, sunny, beautiful 70 degrees outside and then Monday hits and it's a little cold and a little gloomy again. So

Shawn (01:44.878)
Ahem.

Shawn (01:54.698)
Yeah, you got your sweat, you're rocking your sweatshirt. You chilly?

Fred (01:56.936)
Yeah, it's chilly today, so go figure. Anything below 70s chilly for us in California.

Shawn (02:00.322)
Well...

That's what happens when you start getting up an age and get a little long on the tooth there

Fred (02:05.716)
When you get soft, not only is your belly soft, so is your muscles.

Shawn (02:13.196)
Yeah well, speaking of, you're getting ready to get your mountain bike fixed. You'll be getting back at it here soon, yeah?

Fred (02:20.222)
I got it. My therapy is gone. That's why I call you every day. Sean, you got to help me.

Shawn (02:24.046)
Dude, you're in trouble. You're in trouble if you're leaning on me for therapy,

Fred (02:30.836)
I don't know. You got two, you got two big D's, you got two beautiful children. You're doing something right. So they're maybe, I don't know if they're washing each other out cause you definitely, you've been blessed with two beautiful girls. No, I said you have, you have two like not double D's either. So a man of, of wisdom. So anyways, things are, things are good on this side.

Shawn (02:38.19)
I don't have one big D. I got two big D's.

man, that's alright.

Shawn (02:51.971)
Well...

Fred (02:56.864)
Started a new venture, which is going exceptionally well, super excited, which we'll leave it at that. then family's good, work is good, health is good as far as we know it. And can't wait to get back on my mountain bike. How about you, brother?

Shawn (03:20.226)
I don't know what happened. I guess I hit a button. Everything's good, man. I've been riding my mountain bike and hitting the gym every day and cold plunging and sauna and lifting weights and high intensity training. you know, trying to stay ahead of the curve. I'm actually trying to catch up to the curve because I was behind for a while.

Fred (03:40.916)
trying to get swole. That's what your mom said. You on the swole again?

Shawn (03:42.624)
Swo- Swo-Sol

Shawn (03:47.52)
Mm-hmm. She thought I was doing Additives to my system to help me grow

Fred (03:55.786)
Yeah, this creatine's crazy.

Shawn (03:58.254)
freaking crazy son, it's crazy. What are we gonna talk about today? We got some good stuff, I'm excited. It's been a while. Thanks for joining us, ladies and gentlemen. It has been a hot minute. We've, like Fred said, he's got a new endeavor and he's been really busy and I've been busy, but we're never too busy for you guys. So we tried to get on yesterday and some things happened, so here we are and ready to get at it. Help some people out, solve some problems.

Fred (04:03.018)
Yeah, we.

Fred (04:23.06)
ready to rock the house.

Shawn (04:27.19)
Mostly our problems.

Fred (04:29.0)
Yeah, since, we're the common sense podcast. That's probably it us in a nutshell. And, we like to bring things up that have been pressing on us. And I don't know, it's just one of those things. Like, you know, we always ask each other, Hey, what's on your mind? What's kind of pressing you? What do you feel like talking about? And the one thing that I think we're both in agreement on, and I'm confused as hell cause you know, common sense is common sense and

Shawn (04:32.814)
you

Shawn (04:36.814)
Ahem.

Fred (04:57.766)
and waste and lack of accountability kind of go hand in hand when it comes to common sense. I've been feeling this way on my heart because I'll be on social media and I have friends that I've respected for many, many years. And I still do. And I respect their opinions. But I guess I'm stumped by the fact that most of the people that I knew that were academic scholars in school, they're the academic ones. were.

They were the smart ones. were the thrashers kind of just getting by, but you know, grew up in a good home, have great parents. College was in the plans for them from day one, going off to the university, go out in the real world. They've all done good for themselves. But I see this, this, this divide online, you know, with the new, well, Donald Trump in place and, uh, and Doge. And, it's been a point of contention for the difference in opinions.

Shawn (05:32.398)
Uh-uh.

Fred (05:56.644)
And my take, and I'm not going to speak for Sean, but I do know that he leans on this side, is that we're held to a certain level of accountability in our personal lives. You can't just decide that you're not going to pay your taxes. Or you can, and there's going to be consequences, right? Or you can't decide that you're going to overspend every year and raise your own personal debt ceiling. Now you can to a point, but it's going to catch up with you.

Shawn (06:19.252)
Ahem.

Fred (06:23.23)
And so the United States is in a state of except extreme waste, let's call it. And, so I'm, you know, anytime. Yeah, it's grotesque. I mean, it's just so absurd that when I see intelligent people go off the handle online and they can test and, know, condemn what's going on, I go, well, who's going to ever step up and try to write the ship, right? Well, the bottom line is.

Shawn (06:30.348)
gr-gr-grotesque waste.

Fred (06:51.86)
You know, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that we shouldn't be operating by two different set of rules. If the Constitution is for the people, by the people, then it should be exactly that. It shouldn't be for those who want to take and take and take without levels of accountability. If you're a politician, there's no way in hell you should be with $300 million.

Shawn (07:15.458)
Yeah, and I mean, the rule is this is for thee and it's not for me when you're a politician, right? These are the rules that apply for thee, you, the taxpayers, the citizens, those rules do not apply to me, the politician. We make the rules, you guys play by them and what we say goes. And you know, when you get into office and you're, and we talked about this a few podcasts ago, not that we're trying to beat a dead horse, but

It's just, I think the veil is being lifted and we're seeing behind what's actually really happening. A lot of transparency is taking place, but you go into office as a politician, let's say you make 175,000 a year, little more, little less, whatever. But after three years, you suddenly have a net worth of 80 billion or 80 million or a hundred million. You know, you look at Nancy Pelosi's picks for

her stock picks, her portfolio is like, I don't even remember what it is now, but the last time I looked it was like she had 1200 % and gains, right? So you don't walk out of office as a elected official by the American people, us, the taxpayers, we vote these people in supposedly, they're supposedly supposed to do a job, they represent us.

Fred (08:24.224)
it gains.

Shawn (08:43.948)
We tell them what to do, they are employed by us, they leave their position, and now they have 20, 80, 100, 200, 300 million dollars net worth. And it's mind boggling. And it should piss you off, because I know it pisses Fred and I off. What's really going on? Like you said, we say in the beginning, what the hell is really going on?

What is our national debt, Fred? I know you have some stats and facts in front of you.

Fred (09:12.928)
Yeah, it's $36 trillion is what we're at today.

Shawn (09:16.694)
and it grows rapidly every day.

Fred (09:19.722)
Yeah. And anytime there's a, you know, anytime it comes down to, you know, government, potential government shutdown or, you know, the, because we've got to raise the debt ceiling. It's just like, just raise it and keep everything moving forward. But when the reality is, is that we owe China and Japan combined roughly $2 trillion. So they, that means they own part of America and nobody seems to be concerned about reconciling this debt.

But if it were those circumstances were put on your personal, you know, finances and you had to take care of this, you're responsible for taking care of that. And you can't just continue to go borrow more money and raise the debt ceiling on yourself. You just don't get to do that. So the lack of accountability is the first one that's disturbing me or that I find disturbing that how people can just ignore it. So I was, I was doing something and I'm in like that Bob Marley song came to come came to mind, you know,

Shawn (09:53.294)
Hmm

Fred (10:17.576)
It's like don't rock my boat. So nobody gives two shits unless it rocks their boat. So a guy posted that I, that I, that I know I'm a friend of a friend and, I don't really know much about the guy, but apparently works with a postal system out here and with Doge uncovering a lot of waste and jobs are being, cut back and, you know, spending is being cut back and all of a sudden he felt threatened. this guy that

Shawn (10:20.312)
Mm-hmm.

Shawn (10:28.962)
You

Fred (10:45.088)
Pretty amazing guy. You know, I don't have a different opinion of him other than I was shocked to see this post that he put out how disturbed he was that he, his whole claim was that I got the job and I worked really hard. I've done everything I've been asked to do. went to school and I, you know, decided what my career path is going to be. And I've dedicated every day to being in the postal service. Then all of a sudden his job's a little bit in jeopardy, which he still has a job by the way.

puts his long rant on there and how he's the victim. I'm like, welcome to the real world, bro. mean, jobs are jobs. Sometimes you get to keep them, sometimes you don't. And if people are being, if you were part of Enron, you lost your job because somebody was cooking the books. And guess what? The US Postal Service, if they're cooking the books, they should be held accountable.

Shawn (11:24.152)
Yeah.

Fred (11:39.264)
And so not that I have a problem with him being concerned about his job, but all of a sudden it was like, let's put the victim hat on and fucking light the world on fire because all of sudden somebody rocked my boat. Well, guess what? My boat gets rocked every day, every month, every year. Some years are good. Some days, some years I'm like, what the hell, you know, I've done all the work, tried to do it 10 X so that I could be more than enough, but there's no guarantees. So I see people that are fully content.

Shawn (11:51.629)
every day.

Fred (12:09.766)
And somebody disrupts their little piece of the pie and it irks me. don't comment anymore on people's posts. I'm going to respect them for their art because even some of my good friends, I still love them no matter what. But at the same time, I'm just challenged by their interpretation of what's truly going on. And people calling people fascists and...

Shawn (12:30.958)
Mm-hmm.

Fred (12:34.228)
But the bottom line is who in the hell is going to stand up and represent America if we continue to go into debt further and further and further? We already let these foreign countries come in and bail us out, buy our land, buy our businesses, steal our IP, so on and so forth. So are we just the American punching bag? Come over and do as you please with no consequences?

Shawn (12:36.541)
Ahem. Ahem.

Shawn (12:59.15)
Well, I think, and there's a lot that we can peel back on this, right? Number one, we are not the world police. Everybody looks at us as, we're the big brother and we should be striving for, now I'm all for world peace, but we're not the police to go to another country and say, hey, you leave these guys alone, you leave these guys alone. Hey, we're gonna give you $150 billion to leave these guys alone. We're gonna give you 70 billion.

We're gonna send you some weapons To help defend yourself in case this big bully over here or this little bill bully starts messing with you Here's some of our weapons. by the way, we gave them 110 billion dollars, but you guys need to play nice Why is it our role? Why is it our duty to? be the world police and so Me being a dad have two little girls your father

You're doing the best you can. I'm doing the best that I can. My boat's rocked every day. You we shouldn't be letting another country, China, come in and purchase agricultural land. There's no reason for another country to be owning American soil. It's American soil. And you don't have to be an economist to understand that if you take jobs,

goods and services out of the United States and put them into another country

We're gonna have to pay We're dependent upon those goods and services and We're outsourcing them from another country. Well, where does that where do we get it from? We get it from that other country great now we're gonna have to buy those goods and services and It gets brought into our country and guess what we have to pay tariffs on it You know everybody's up in in arms about Doge And I'm sorry If you don't think Doge is a good idea, you're an idiot

Shawn (15:04.354)
I'm just gonna be perfectly blunt because they're peeling back the government waste, the excess waste. If we have how many million federal workers and it costs us how many trillion dollars, that's government waste. I mean, I don't remember how many buildings are in DC that we're not even using.

Fred (15:29.472)
Yeah, this, uh, some of these stats I have the department of defense, 125 billion in bureaucratic waste, a pentagon. Right. That's just the DOD. I'll go down the list because this thing is freaking.

Shawn (15:36.545)
And that's just the DOD.

Shawn (15:42.136)
Go to USAID, what's USAID?

Fred (15:45.472)
If it's on here, let's see. So failed audits. So let me know next time you get audited and you fail it. If you just get to give a pass, because I'm not quite sure. Um, you got 236 billion and improper payments just in 2023 alone, 236 B I L L I O N billion dollars.

Shawn (15:56.685)
Hmm

Shawn (16:07.566)
And that's in 2023?

Fred (16:09.312)
Yeah. And then, you know, it just goes on and on. So fraudulent activities, annual fraud losses, COVID-19 relief, approximately 10 % of the 42, 4.2 trillion allocated for COVID-19 was lost to fraud or waste, amounting to over 400 billion. Come on. And then, so guess who gets to pay for it? The American tax payers. So.

Shawn (16:34.178)
We do. And that should piss, it should piss you off. It should, it pisses me off.

Fred (16:38.93)
So here's a little tidbit. So I have a conversation with somebody and they just get done telling me how, you know, we're all in our 50s now. so retirement's coming up, you know, or you hope to retire. But, you know, with all the advancements in your career, you're in management now, you've gotten raises, you've gotten this. But I can't figure out why I'm still having a hard time making ends meet. I'm like, well,

Shawn (16:49.454)
Ahem.

Fred (17:06.696)
Listen to yourself because you're listening to the narrative, you know, of what is being shared on, on public news, CNN or whatever it is, you know, but you're going to buy into the bullsh**. I'm like, well, why don't you take five minutes and figure out where the wasteful spinning it goes and decide what you want to stand for. And if you come to the conclusion, you still are going to stand on that, on that hill of where you stood before. Fine. But don't spew nonsense and then go, Whoa.

Shawn (17:08.014)
Yeah.

Fred (17:34.75)
I can't figure out while you know, I'm in management now. I've been doing this for seven years and I'm making twice as much money as I did my entire career and I'm still fucking broke. Well, wake the fuck up. That's all I gotta say is wake the fuck up. So if you don't, if you want to just fucking sit on the sidelines and I didn't want to drop any F bombs on this, but, but it does aggravate me to no end.

And I'm like, I'm tired of being the stupid one for saying anything. I'm like, okay, well, if you don't love our country and you're not a fan of accountability, then why don't we all just not be accountable? Stop paying our taxes, stop paying your mortgage payments and just fucking live freely and just be kumbaya. We'll go smoke weed and fucking do acid.

Shawn (18:18.926)
Well, and it's not that you're the dumb guy or the bad guy, I forget what you just said. It's if you say something along those lines, you're a racist, you're a fascist, you're swinging from Trump's nuts, you're an extremist. The name calling goes on and on and I don't care what people call me. I don't care what people think of me. It goes to the intro, it goes back to the intro. We're about doing what is right. What does the Bible say about the golden rule?

Do unto others as you'd want done to yourself. Treat others the way you want to be treated. And we're getting screwed. And here's the deal. You, the listener, me, Sean, I am the main character in this story, this book about me. And nobody's coming to save me. You, the listener, you're the main character of your story. And you know, like Fred said, what do we do?

What are we supposed to do? Well, you push back. And we're not talking about have a complete anarchy and revolt in the streets, but you gotta push back. You gotta let people know that, hey, this isn't right. And you do have to understand what narrative are you listening to? What story are you listening to? Are you listening? And it's on both sides. It's not just CNN. It's Fox. It's MSNBC. It's all of.

There is a narrative that they're trying to force feed us and get us to believe, and I'm sick of it. I'm tired of

Fred (19:51.84)
Yeah, same here. So I just opt to just turn that stuff off, you know, because it is divisive, you know, and I think that that's what, you know, they're pulling us in to the trap. You know, they want the divide, they want the divisiveness. They want you to disagree. And, you know, I've said this a thousand times on the podcast. go, our, our ideals are the same. Our goals are the same. We want to go to work, earn a decent living, be able to put food on our tables, a roof over our family's heads and eventually retire and enjoy our

Shawn (20:06.222)
Mm-hmm.

Fred (20:21.248)
our golden years. Is that too much to ask now? But at the same time, you know, when, you know, just here in California, they suppose another gas tax already at $5 a gallon. Yeah. $5 a gallon. That shit's going to be 5 25, 550 here in no time. You know, and it's like, why does anybody want to stay in California? Tesla's moved out in an hour is moving to Tennessee somewhere now taking their corporate headquarters out of California.

Shawn (20:32.738)
Are you guys still up at five?

Fred (20:50.602)
But it's business after business and family after family. And so we had the, the opportunity to meet, governor Bianco a few weeks ago, amazing guy. And he stands for the cowboy way. A hans- Yeah, he's running for governor. Sorry. And, but he's the, he's the American patriot. He believes in American values, American families first. And you know what crime is a crime and people that commit crime should be locked up.

Shawn (21:03.15)
He's running for governor, isn't he?

No, you're good.

Fred (21:20.552)
And so it was such a breath of fresh air to hear him speak because we get to hear this nonsense. comes out of God knows where and supposedly that's the, that's the, that's the truth. It's not the truth. The truth is we want to live in a free country that we pay for handsomely. Nobody minds paying their taxes. I don't mind paying my taxes just as long as I get what I'm supposed to get out of it. But when I see fraud, waste and excess suspending day in and day out,

Shawn (21:34.83)
Mm-hmm.

Fred (21:50.206)
and funding programs to give condoms to monkeys in some foreign country or some, you know, sex changes. You know, there's a, it's kind of interesting, you know, we've, we've got a lot of information coming at us quite a bit now that the, that they've allowed us to pull back the curtain. And, I told you, we had a really good time on Friday night and I had people beat me up on the podcast in a positive way.

Shawn (22:06.67)
Hmm

Fred (22:17.694)
But they're like, you have a podcast. So they add questions. And one lady, she has an LGBTQ, I don't know if it's a son or daughter, but she wouldn't let it up. And I'm like, hey, you know what? All you can do is love them. I don't know if you don't think you're supposed to condemn them in the Bible it says otherwise. And I'm not God, so I can't say whether it's right or wrong. But I said, all you can do is love them. But what's strange to me is that...

Shawn (22:17.838)
Mm-hmm.

Fred (22:48.352)
There is just a, I have no problem with homosexuality personally, but I just, I am stumped as to the sheer volume of people that are coming out is that we know we had friends in high school that were more homosexual and you could tell you just could. And you know what? They're amazing people. I same thing. I still love them too, but we have so many, we have so many people that are coming out and maybe they've always been there. They just, you know, felt

Shawn (23:09.592)
Ahem.

Fred (23:17.948)
embarrassed to come out or shamed or whatever it may be. And, and I think it's sad, but at the same time with the food system, the way it's been, and I, was thinking about this because my son made a comment and he he's a gym rat and he's a very active outdoors, but they just went through a strike for the movie studios and they were out of work for at least a year and a half. They're technically they're not even back yet. It's just picked up a little bit. And, so he's playing Fortnite a lot, but he's sitting in a room.

that's dark playing this video game for eight hours, 10 hours and eating, coming home with Chick-fil-A or ordering it at the door, which makes me crazy. It's like, you're going to order your food, especially it's, it's really shit in the bag that you're going to pay extra money for to have it delivered because we can't go out and get it anymore.

Shawn (23:52.536)
Mm-hmm.

Shawn (24:08.942)
because you don't want to just turn off your Fortnite for 20 minutes.

Fred (24:12.958)
Yeah, but so when I was, this lady was just talking my ear off about, you know, the situation and I, you know, I feel for her. So when I say talking my ear off, she was passionate about it and I get it. My kid was like that and I had questions and I'm looking for answers, you know, but my point is that society is so, you know, we've talked about comfort kills. So guess what? The comfort is so abundant.

that you can sit in a dark room, play video games all day and be stimulated like crazy, but stimulated in the wrong way. So my point in saying that is between that sedentary lifestyle, not eating the right foods, dude, you're, you're literally you're damaging. Yeah. You're poisoning yourself. You're not able to produce hormones that you should be able to produce at that age as a young man or even a young lady. Cause human human beings need sunlight.

Shawn (24:45.358)
Mm-hmm.

Shawn (24:49.059)
Hmm

Shawn (24:55.726)
Poison yourself.

Fred (25:07.914)
They need vitamin D. They need to be grounded to the, to the earth. They need to be outdoor, being active. They need to sweat, you know? And so when my son started getting back into the gym or he start, he was never really a gym rep, but he started going to the gym and he's like, dad, feel amazing. I'm like, yeah, because that's what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to, you're supposed to stress your body with workouts. You're supposed to stress your mind with challenges and

obstacles that you need to get through. But the sedentary lifestyle, I think is a strong component in where people want to hide behind their home. They were hiding behind the TV, then they're hiding behind the computer. Now you can go on public and everybody just hides behind their phone. you don't have to feel awkward walking through a crowd anymore because you don't have to look at anybody. You just stare at your phone as you're walking through being a jackass and not even taking the consideration that there's people around you. And so

Shawn (25:51.662)
Great.

Shawn (26:01.176)
Yeah.

Fred (26:02.948)
I'm, I'm convinced that there's something to it because kids don't want to get their driver's license anymore. They don't give two shits. It's like, dude, that was like a, that was like a ticket to freedom when we were kids. You, like everybody's counting the days you're taking driver's ed the semester early so that you're ready to go and take your test. Once you get to go do the physical driving, you checked all the boxes. Now I can go drive and be an idiot, but it was something to get your license. Now it's

Shawn (26:30.83)
Well, you had something to look forward to, right? When you were a kid, think the big, you know, I'm 51 and I look, I think back and it was like, wow, I'm gonna be 13. I'm officially a teenager. And what was the next milestone? 16, right? What was the next milestone? 18. The next milestone, 21. You know, I mean, you had these milestones and we can call them goals. We had these goals growing up, right? That,

Fred (26:45.352)
I get, yeah.

Shawn (27:00.322)
When I turn this age, I'm gonna be able to do this. And I don't think that, in fact, I don't think, I know that they don't have that today. It is, it's, you we're all about instant gratification. We're looking for that instant dopamine hit. We get that through our phone. We get that through social media. How many likes am I gonna get? Okay, I'm not posting, but I'm gonna just scroll. I'm gonna scroll, scroll, scroll, and just see what everybody else is doing.

It's like keeping up with the Kardashians at the palm of your hand, right? You're just trying to find out what the hell everybody else is doing. And then it's okay. I don't want to take the time to cook for myself. So let me door dash something and it'll be brought to me. It's not going to interrupt my scrolling or my Xbox or my whatever it is. look, it's almost dinner time. I better order some more food. it's, you know.

Fred (27:32.447)
Right.

Shawn (27:56.078)
It's time to go to bed and I'm gonna lay in bed until one in the morning and keep scrolling. I mean, dude, it blows me awake, but it is a sickness.

Fred (27:59.925)
Right.

Fred (28:06.258)
Yeah, so now that all these things are being exposed, there's some real truth behind there.

Shawn (28:12.248)
There's, it's a lot of truth. Yeah.

Fred (28:14.304)
And so, so then again, it's like, you know, all these comedians are making fun of RFK because of the way he talks. Who gives a shit? The guy's telling you the truth. know, people, know, they want to live in this, you know, this bubble that's their own reality. But yet when things start to go sideways, like, you know, somebody wants to step in and, and make sure that our government is held accountable for their actions.

Hey, guess what? If you will work in the public sector, you get held accountable for your actions. If you work for a publicly traded company and you have those kind of accounting practices where you're just going to continue to raise the debt ceiling and defraud your investors, guess what's going to happen? You go to jail. End of story. I've worked for a publicly traded company. You got to sign your ass off to make sure that you understand crystal clear that certain information is not for the public.

Shawn (29:12.812)
Right. Right.

Fred (29:13.44)
And insider trading is not acceptable, but in the government, the other hand, apparently it is. So anyways, I just, you know, I didn't want to get on here and just to be a gnarly ramp, but maybe I did because guess what? I'm sick and tired of this stuff going on and then being criticized for having a strong point of view that it should all be fair and equal and you should be held accountable for your actions.

And you should also realize too, that if you have children, you need to take a look at the way you're raising them. That's the bottom line. Are they involved in sports? Are you involved in their life? What do we talk about? We've talked about an early, early podcast. I see a lot of people still getting divorces, you know, they're having issues with their kids. We still have issues with our kids, but guess what? We have to address them. And guess what? Every time we resolve an issue with our kids, there is a bond that is stronger and stronger and stronger. And just like the

You know, we always say, you know, um, steel sharpens steel. that friction is absolutely necessary in order to forge into the next version of yourself and your family. But people want to take this, this road of ease. And then they want to bitch and complain when things just don't flow their way. It's like, well, guess what? Again, wake the fuck up because that's how it works. Exactly.

Shawn (30:35.672)
Well, welcome to human nature. And I think it's since the creation of man, everything was cyclical. Seasons are cyclical. Tough times, they're gonna come and they're gonna go. Good times, they're gonna come and they're gonna go. Problem solving is necessary in order for advancement of life. There's gonna be hard times today, later on I'm sure. I'm gonna have some obstacles.

Are they gonna be insurmountable, mind blowing? Probably not, but who knows? Who knows what's gonna happen? I don't know what's gonna happen.

Fred (31:11.072)
But at one time in your life, those little problems used to be big problems, right? But then you keep strengthening your ability to resolve problems. You go, that one, it's not a 10, it's a two.

Shawn (31:15.136)
huge, Yeah.

Shawn (31:21.966)
Yeah, my first divorce, was like, holy shit, I waited for so long to get married, had our first kid at 40, divorce happens and it's like, my world's upside down. Well, guess what? I had divorce number two. I'm not proud of it, but it happened and it sucked, but my world wasn't upside down. It was like, okay, well, I've been here before. I'm conditioned for this shit. I know what's going on, right? And I make light of that kind of tongue in cheek, but

Fred (31:45.897)
Right.

Shawn (31:51.042)
Hard times are gonna come. They're gonna come and go. And we were created to work. We were created to figure out things. God gave us a brain. The strongest computer in this world is between our two ears. It's his brain. And if you don't use it, it becomes mush. You have to use it. There needs to be stimulation. There's right stimulation and wrong stimulation. Scrolling on your phone,

getting a constant dopamine hit all day long is not the right stimulation. Go out and problem solve, go out, create something. You know, the Bible says in the beginning God created. And if we were created in his image, what does that tell us about ourselves? We were created to be creators. We are supposed to go out and create something. We are supposed to go out and make something happen and build big shit and make things happen. That's what we're supposed to do.

Fred (32:23.274)
right.

Shawn (32:48.952)
I'll get off my soapbox on

Fred (32:49.162)
Well, no, it's okay. One of the things I wanted to point out cause we're going to use this as an example. So you just mentioned the divorces and before that I mentioned how I keep seeing people get, you know, there's another couple they're getting a divorce. so I'm so you hear about someone. So yeah, they're getting a divorce. And then I get the opportunity to talk to these people and what's the first thing they do blame. Yeah, let's, let's blame the other person.

Shawn (33:15.182)
Point fingers.

Fred (33:19.326)
Let's point fingers. He doesn't, she doesn't, they don't appreciate me. They don't understand what I go through. They don't this, they don't that, they don't this, they don't that blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Never once on this podcast, when you talk about your divorces, have you ever passed blame? You've accepted it.

Shawn (33:26.542)
Ahem.

Shawn (33:40.748)
I've accepted it, but here's the deal. You lost connection. What do you need to do? Go reconnect. How do I do that? I don't know. Put your fucking phone down. Go have a conversation. Take your spouse out for a date. Communicate with your kids. Do something that you used to do when you first started dating. It needs to be right. You need to date your spouse weekly. There should be a designated day. This is a non-negotiable. We are having date night.

Fred (33:52.957)
Exactly.

Fred (34:01.856)
Yeah, exactly.

Shawn (34:10.786)
This night, this week. I'm not asking for permission. We're doing it.

Fred (34:15.358)
Yeah, we're going on a date. We're going to be a couple.

Shawn (34:18.722)
Yeah, and guess what? When you lose connection, what are you gonna do? You're gonna go seek attention elsewhere. And now it's easier to get attention more so than ever in previous times in history because of this supercomputer, this phone that we have, that you can go on social media and get a like, just like that. Or, woe is me, here's my story, this and this happened, they're the bad person, look at what happened.

Fred (34:38.176)
Exactly.

Shawn (34:46.958)
you know what I mean? And you are out your dirty laundry, why not go sit down and have a conversation face to face? Well, he doesn't know how to talk or she doesn't know how to talk. Well, something happened along the way because you got attracted to each other at one point in time and hence that's why you're married.

Fred (34:52.532)
Right?

Fred (35:04.138)
Yeah. So the, so the, the point of this, bringing this up is that it doesn't matter if it's your marriage, the relationship with your kids, the financial situation that you're in your and I, and it took me a while to accept this one. You're the problem. You are the problem. Just like I'm the problem. Yeah. I I'm the problem when I have these issues because

Shawn (35:12.504)
business?

Shawn (35:22.261)
You are the problem.

You're the main character, yeah.

Fred (35:32.596)
people don't realize the importance of, of words, you know, and I catch myself, you know, I have, you know, just recently I, I stuck my foot in my mouth, just having a condescending comment to somebody that really loved and it, and it was a short comment, but it was enough to pierce the freaking, you know, just break, break the skin.

Shawn (35:51.534)
And let me stop you there. When you said that comment, I don't think for one second that you said it to pierce their soul.

Fred (36:00.614)
No, but it did and it breaks my heart.

Shawn (36:02.306)
But you did probably say it to get their attention, right?

Fred (36:05.876)
Exactly. So it was intentional. And then, so that leads me to my next deal is if you want to lead, like Sean and I, our journeys, we've decided to live an intentional life and it comes with ups and it comes with downs because you have to earn the spot to live the life that you, that you dream of. And some people have more elaborate dreams. My dream zone is elaborate as they once were, but I've realized that all those things don't make you happy.

The things that make you happy or the intentional things that bring value to your life. And that's connection, connection with your spouse, connection with your children, connection with your close friends, connection with your parents, connection with colleagues, connection and being authentic. We know we'll set it We've said it a million times. We'll say it a million times more. The truth resonates at the highest frequency. And so anyways, when you, when you, when you elect to lead an authentic and intentional life,

you're going to have to do some work. You're going have to do some soul searching. There's going to be good days. There's going to be bad days, but do not lose sight of what your intentional life looks like. And we don't all need mega yachts and super cars and stupid shit. You know, it's like, cause that's not going to make you happy. Those guys are not happy. They think they're happy for a little while until you know, the fricking thrill is gone. And so we're all trying to

make the best possible life for ourselves and

It's our decision. You know, it's our decision how we want to raise our families, the connection we want to have with our spouses. And it is our country that we have to stand for, to stand for a podcast. The whole reason we do this is to challenge the status quo. And so, you know, it's just been pressing on me so hard lately because I just see more and more comments online and it comes in waves. But you as a man have to step up.

Fred (38:11.016)
and build the life that you want. Just like if I was Donald Trump, don't think I have, I'm not crazy enough to be Donald Trump, but he's got big giant cojones and he's gonna go take on the world to make this thing right. And is he perfect? I'm not saying that he's perfect. So scratch that from your list.

Shawn (38:30.318)
No, he's flawed. He's flawed, just like everybody else. Just like you listening, just like me, just like Fred. We're all flawed and we're trying our best to get through this world, to get through this life. But I'll say this again, you are the main character in your story.

Fred (38:33.759)
Yeah, so, but you.

Shawn (38:52.162)
Let that sit with yourself for a few seconds. You are the main character of this story. Nobody's coming to save you. Nobody's coming to save your family. And it's you, it's your family. It's up to you. It's up to me to lead from the front, my little girls. My job is to be the best father that I can be. But how do I do that? I have to take care of me first. My mind has to be right. My body has to be well.

The things that I'm putting in my mouth need to be things that are taking me closer to my goals, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. The things that I read need to be taking me closer to my goals. The things that I listen to, the people that I allow in my circle need to be edifying to take me closer to my goals, not drag me further away. And if you're one of these pessimistic

People that have a viewpoint of everything's bad the world Donald Trump Doge The man this white person this black person Whatever your view is if you have that kind of mindset guess what? You're the main character in your story You need to change you I Need to change me and that's my goal. I am not perfect. What Fred can tell you that Fred's not perfect. Nobody's perfect

Fred (40:09.694)
So you're

Shawn (40:20.248)
Donald Trump's not perfect. He's not the Christ, he's not the savior, he's a flawed man doing the best that he can to make America great again, to get excess spending under control to what, MAGA?

Fred (40:33.344)
You said it.

You said it,

Somebody's gonna key your car when you get off the podcast.

Shawn (40:40.014)
You

That's all right, bring it on, bring it on. Let him key my car. I don't have a car. But you know, we're just trying to do the best. We all want what's best for us as ourselves, individuals, and our family. And if government is out of control, why wouldn't you want something shining the spotlight on where excess spending is taking place?

Fred (41:10.592)
Yeah. Cause that just puts more dollars back in our economy that aren't getting wasted for, for what? For nothing for somebody's personal gain. So the, let's see if I got my train of thought right here. you know, I, I just want to say that I'm grateful for what's taking place. You know, I was a little taken back by the tariffs just coming on so strong, but not because they didn't need to happen.

Shawn (41:17.846)
Right. Yeah.

Fred (41:37.824)
It was just, you know, Sean and I had this, this talk. I'm like, dude, what the heck, you know, just like this, somebody flipped a switch and all of sudden we've got these radical tariffs that are going to be imposed and really could just bottleneck our country. Right. And it still may happen for all I know, but does it need to happen? Absolutely. And so radical change, like you always say, Sean, what does it require? Exactly. So it's like radical change requires radical change. So

Shawn (41:59.726)
requires radical change.

Fred (42:05.896)
If you're 350 pounds and your heart's barely fucking beaten and you can't walk up the steps in your house, radical change requires radical change.

Shawn (42:15.274)
But in addition to that, what needs to take place in order for that radical change to take place and have radical change? Accountability.

Fred (42:24.308)
Right. Exactly. You got to be accountable to yourself. And so. And so our country is 350 pounds, can barely walk up the flight of stairs and. It's just, it's just asinine to me that people can't see the writing on the wall that this will be the the Republic of China at the pace we're going. Do we want to be a communist country? Absolutely not. You know, in the Donald Trump thing, he's an easy target because of his mouth. Fine.

Shawn (42:27.854)
Just own it, right?

Fred (42:54.334)
I've never been a fan of his mouth. He can be more eloquent and he's kind of calmed down, but he's also been attacked like nobody ever in this country. So you got to give them a little space because they did attack them, but he's a fighter. He's going to continue to come back and fight harder and stronger and harder and stronger. And guess what? He's doing what he said he was going to do. He's going to clean this shit up. Somebody needs to clean it up because I don't see anybody else stepping up to, to, to be the one who's going to clean America up.

Shawn (43:01.998)
Mm-hmm.

Shawn (43:21.101)
Hmm

Fred (43:24.128)
Call it what you want, make America great again, clean this shit up. Or, you know, if you want to cry and, know, I'm leaving America, fine, get the fuck out. This is our country. When my kids grow up or they're adults now, but when their children grow up and their children grow up, they need to live in a country where they're safe. And that's, you know, result of our actions prior to them. So we leave them some legacy.

Shawn (43:32.462)
Go.

Shawn (43:51.448)
Yeah, I'm gonna and you're absolutely right. I'm gonna kind of not veer off but I'm gonna shine the light in a different direction. Same same direction but you know one thing that gets me this senator, senator or congressman, I forget what it is. He flies over to Venezuela to check on this MS-13 member who was not, is not an American citizen. They deported him to Venezuela.

He's in the Seacot prison and we have a senator or a representative, I forget what it is, flying over there because he wants to check on him and he wants to get this man out of prison and bring him back to the United States when he's not even a citizen, huh?

Fred (44:39.252)
Yeah, why don't you put him up in his house? Why don't he do the forward exchange thing where he can stay at his house?

Shawn (44:44.972)
Well, his own wife, the guy's wife said he beat me, violently beat me. Used to beat me all the time. She came out on record stating what he had done. He's got tattoos on his knuckle, MS-13. My question is, this senator is so concerned about a non-US citizen that he flies over to try and get this man out of prison to bring a non-citizen back to the United States. Where was this senator when?

the fires in Maui took place. Where was the senator when we had the Carolinas underwater because of the hurricanes and because of the flooding? When Florida was underwater because of the hurricanes, where was the senator? He wasn't once checking up on any US citizens, but yet you go to another country to fight to get him out of prison to bring him back. Help me.

Fred (45:41.907)
support terrorism.

Shawn (45:43.308)
Yeah, help this make sense to me. Help me understand this. It's completely, it blows my mind.

Fred (45:48.522)
Yeah.

Fred (45:52.832)
And if anybody's listening, they want to, they want to write in, go ahead. Cause I'd love to hear it. Cause that's that shit. Noisic shit out of me. Cause it doesn't make any sense, but you're absolutely right. You're not going to, you're not going to go stand for something that's, know, that's affected American people, but you're going to fly over to Venezuela and try to bring back a MS 13 killer.

Shawn (46:01.134)
Yeah, you could.

Shawn (46:15.81)
Gang member and he even said he was willing to kill in order to get his I don't know what they call it in in biker land and in biker gang you to get your patch To be get your 1 % patch you have to do the 1 % of things that people won't do You're you are the 1 % that will do things that most everybody else will not do this guy was willing to kill to get his full ride into MS 13

Fred (46:28.159)
Right.

Shawn (46:46.7)
and this senator is over there lobbying to bring him back to the United States. I don't understand. And please, if any of you listeners, please send us a message on Instagram. Just write in, shoot us a message, a direct message. We'll get it and actually we'll read it. If we get something for or against, you guys send us messages because we wanna start reading some of these messages on some of these episodes that we do.

Fred (47:14.048)
Help us understand that side because for the life of me, I can't figure it out.

Shawn (47:18.559)
Or why you're against Doge? Why you're for Doge? Why you're against Doge? Like, send us messages.

I don't understand, man. I don't see how people can look at that side of the coin and say, hey, this is wrong. We don't want them, you know, exposing where all these dollars are going to. And I know why the politicians don't want it to take place is because they're losing their gravy train.

Fred (47:47.388)
Exactly. Don't rock my boat. But what I can't understand of the common American person that's subject to the same nonsense that we are there. They're going to retaliate. I'm like, don't rock your boat either. So let's all just, let's just stay on the sinking ship. You know, if you want, you want Ms. 13 people to come back, open your home to them. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Go, go over there and live in their lifestyle for a little bit. If you love it so much.

Shawn (48:07.788)
Or better yet, why don't you go over there and go click up with them over there.

Fred (48:17.312)
And the other thing too is that if you want to, you want to ban the police, who are you going to call when somebody's breaking into your house? That's MS-13 guy. The first people you call is the police. So it's mind boggling to me and I can't handle it anymore. I'm like, Hey, I, like I said, I, I'm not the smartest person on the planet, but I'm surely not the dumbest.

Shawn (48:26.488)
Mm-hmm.

Shawn (48:40.526)
Well, I think it comes down to common sense, Fred. And you can't get any common courtesy from someone that doesn't have any common sense. And if you don't have common sense and you don't have facts, you're just getting your information and your sources from mainstream media, there's a thing called Google. There's a thing called the internet. Go deep dive, go research, go figure out what's actually going on yourself. Don't take my word for it. Don't take Fred's word for it. Don't take Fox.

CNN, MSNBC, don't take their word for it. Go find out yourself. Get some answers because the narrative that you have playing through your head, it's not the real narrative. It's not the right narrative.

So yeah, I'm frustrated man. And yes you are, don't tell stories.

Fred (49:31.028)
I'm not.

Fred (49:35.744)
I don't know if you could tell, but I'm a little perturbed by the whole thing. at the end of the day, they're making the changes, which I'm in favor for. So there it is, publicly stated. And I hope that it works. I know it's going to work, because somebody has to step in and do it. It's the right thing to do. And we've got to get them comfortable as a society, or we're not going to have a country to even worry about, which is a crying shame. And so we're the strongest economy in the world.

that everybody leans on. And I'm all about being a, you know, they, they call it a global economy now, which, Hey, it's actually wonderful that we have the internet. That's one of the beautiful things about it is you can, the other side of the world is not the other side of the world anymore, although it is, but there's a level of communication that, that we can have. We can share values. can share. Um, we can share business. We can share in prosperity. You know, there's no reason a third world country should be.

poverty stricken. You know, it's a big world. Everybody needs something, but it needs to be reciprocal. Maybe look at the word up reciprocal. There's a reciprocal tariff. So, but people don't, they won't even take the time to look up reciprocal. They're just, there's this tariff and a reciprocal one. Well, look it up and see what it means. So anyways, I'm done. Renton. Let's talk about, let's talk about, let's talk about something positive.

Shawn (50:58.69)
No, you're just getting warmed up.

Fred (51:03.572)
What it is positive, but it's got to be a little spicy on the way there. So I think I, my last piece I want to add to this is, you know, we'll use this as an opportunity to do a timestamp. We'll look back three years from today or three years into this presidency and see what it looks like. Cause it doesn't, you don't turn the ship around overnight. And so it's going to take two, three years that man just

I, what I can envision for this, you know, the United States and by the way, it's okay for countries to come still invest in the United States, build manufacturing, micro processing. You live in the mecca of it right now. You know, I've been on job sites where Samsung has, they are building a micro processor or semiconductor plant and right in Tyler, Texas. So humongous project.

Shawn (51:54.606)
Mm-hmm.

Fred (52:00.596)
I'm out there supplying the PPE that I sell with these large contractors. And it was very interesting that they're literally, however many hundreds of acres this thing is, is there's a line down the fence down the center of it. One side is the Japanese side. One side is the American side, Japanese workers on one American workers on the other. And you would see backhoes digging ditches and a guy with wearing fricking flip flops and

some crazy looking cheap hard hat smoking a cigarette cause he's of Asian descent from their country. Then you got our guys, they're wearing head to toe PPE. They got a fricking hard hat on. They got their safety eyewear, their, you know, class two vest. They've got work boots on, you know, working by our standards. But what was interesting is you see this massive investment and then you go around the project and you're on the Samsung side now, which is a fully owned by Samsung.

but they wanted to manage one side of the project on their own. And that's where all the data centers are going and all the high tech, whatever it is, it's very guarded. So big fences around everything, but you know, just that one project, it started off, there's supposed to be two or three phases. They made sure that they built it in a place where they could expand it. Well, they're up to seven now, seven, you know, you know, seven times bigger than what they.

Shawn (53:09.838)
All right.

Shawn (53:23.47)
That's crazy.

Fred (53:28.35)
you know, originally started off with for a single one. And, but now we're getting the semiconductor plants and Phoenix.

Shawn (53:30.659)
Yeah.

Shawn (53:34.99)
Yeah, Taiwan Semiconductors building like four big or five big plants out here.

Fred (53:41.888)
Yeah. And then, uh, Apple's supposed to do five. I can't remember what the numbers are, but it's they're staggering the investment in United States. So what's that mean? That means jobs at all levels for American people to grade the soil, to do the surveying, the engineering, the freaking grading, the freaking, you know, the plumbing, the electrical, the freaking cement work, you name it. And then it provides jobs for American people that are going to run these plants.

Shawn (53:43.5)
Apple.

Fred (54:09.854)
you know, and it brings X amount of jobs to Phoenix alone or to Tyler, Texas or to whatever it may be. But that's good. And it's encouraging for our children if they want to go to college because the occupation that they want warrants going to college, go to college. Or if you want to be the one that installs power lines, go be a lineman and go through the IEW lineman school. So there's so many different options, but

Instead of getting everything for a discount overseas, let's build it here, have better paying jobs, you know, support our, our towns, our cities, our communities, our states, our country, and see it prosper. We get rid of the, the, the fraud and the waste. We should be driving on streets of gold and we shouldn't be paying five something, you know, $5 a gallon for gas, you know,

Shawn (55:04.514)
Yeah, that's crazy to me that you guys are paying that much still.

Fred (55:07.52)
So then you have the you have the funds to be able to live the life you want senior kids to college put away for your retirement do whatever it is that you want to do but some at some point in time we're going to have to hold each other accountable and it starts not only with us but we need to be the ones to hold our government accountable for their actions.

Shawn (55:29.582)
percent.

I think that was a good rant by you and I. It was a good rant.

Fred (55:36.18)
That was a rant.

I should have teed up the Bob Marley song, the Don't Rock My Boat.

Shawn (55:43.288)
Well, when you post this, can, as long as we don't get like some kind of copyright violation, post it and we'll wrap the show up with a little Bob Marley.

Fred (55:52.532)
You Bob Marley knocking at your door. How's it brought out?

Shawn (55:55.369)
But, uh, I love, I love Bob. Bob was, Bob was the man. That's still one of my favorite albums. Legends.

Fred (56:03.988)
Dude, are you kidding me? That that's like the, if you're, you can't be in a bad mood. And if Bob Marley is on, it's just, it's so, it's so, I dunno, it just cleanses your soul. You know, it's, what's interesting. I don't know if you've ever watched the movie. I don't want to go out another story, but I'm going to tell it anyways, because I think I find it compelling that the Bob Marley story, I couldn't tell you where exactly where he grew up, but was it Africa or South Africa?

Shawn (56:10.221)
Right.

Shawn (56:16.814)
100%.

Shawn (56:33.336)
Frenchtown, Jamaica.

Fred (56:35.24)
So there we go. Trans-town Jamaica. But the guy grew up in poverty, right? I mean, poverty, poverty. They had fricking, you know, dirt floors, know, tar paper walls held up by bamboo sticks and whatever, but he's got this. I don't know where he got a guitar, but it was nothing fancy and his, and his boys are banging on stuff. But when you talk about the frequency of the earth and how the truth resonates at the highest frequency that he was singing.

to bring people together. You know, they're part of apartheid and all these, you know, political battles and, know, and he just wanted the best for the human race, regardless of where you're from. And that's kind of where we're at, you know, not to get philosophical, but it's true. You know, I want the best for all of our listeners. I the best for you. I the best for myself. And guess what? The more we can align with each other to have solid views on the world, we can make a difference. But Bob Marley's music traveled.

all over the world. A guy that he would, he would never, if you had to put money on it, say this, this guy, this Jamaican guy that sings pretty cool and whatever is going to be a phenomenon. You'd be like, yeah, global from it. Nah, that's not going to happen. I wouldn't have my money on it. He might be pretty awesome, but a global phenomenon.

Shawn (57:46.638)
global phenomenon, right?

Shawn (57:52.91)
Right. Dude, every time I go to Hawaii, every store you go in, every car you pass, they're all playing Bob Marley. He wasn't from Hawaii. He was from Jamaica, you know? And, uh, dude, I, uh, it's crazy to me, you know, he had a vision. His vision was I'm doing music for the people. That's it. He wanted to change the apartheid and all this different stuff.

Fred (58:03.188)
Shawn (58:22.73)
He was against government because they had a corrupt government and he and he stood he stood for it Bob Marley stand for it They tried to kill him try to take him out and He kept standing for it kept fighting for what was right pushing for what was right and I think at the end of the day if we all took a page out of that book and we said hey, I Want to see my fellow man?

Fred (58:26.057)
Exactly.

Fred (58:30.484)
He did. And guess what? Yeah. In a big way. Yeah.

Shawn (58:52.45)
my fellow woman, my brother, my sister, my neighbor, this stranger over here, I wanna see you guys win. And stop comparing what's my life compared to your life, what's your life compared to my life. No, I just wanna see you win. I wanna see your family win, I wanna see you guys prosper. And I think we'll all prosper a lot more if our government wasn't so corrupt. And we're not a political podcast, we really aren't. But you have to stop.

Fred (59:16.595)
minutes.

Shawn (59:22.348)
and say, hey, this doesn't add up. This stuff isn't adding up. This looks a little fishy. This isn't right. That's what Bob Marley did. Push back on the man.

Fred (59:36.682)
push back on the man, but at the end of the day, be good to each other. You know, some of the people that I guarantee you, they still have Bob Marley. don't look at it that way, but again, do a little homework. And guess what? There's, there's just some amazing people out there. You know, they, they just maybe spin their story a little differently, but at the same time we want what's best for each other. And it starts with accountability and you're number one. So

Shawn (59:39.512)
Yeah.

Shawn (59:52.526)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah, absolutely.

Shawn (59:59.79)
Turns with you.

Fred (01:00:01.436)
Anyways, I think it was a fun way to kind of wrap up a a little tension, but at the same time, hopefully it resonates with people and, you know, you get something out of this that, you know, believe what you want to believe, but do your homework. And, at the end of the day, let's all be good to each other.

Shawn (01:00:18.028)

Shawn (01:00:48.344)
