If you want to be more consistent online, because obviously you know that's where your visibility starts you need some consistency. You're going to love what I share with you today in this mini-sode. I'm going to share a very, very practical exercise so you can get more consistency and more visibility and start standing out in front of your dream clients. Hey, welcome to the Comforting Coach Academy podcast. I'm your host, Kushla Chadwick, and if you have an audacious dream to really be of service in the world, build a profitable coaching business online and have an awesome life offline, then, my love, you are in the right place. Together we're going to talk strategy, mindset, manifestation, thought work, energy work all the things.
So let's dive in. Hey, my friend, I hope you're doing amazing today. I wanted to answer a question that I get a lot in one form or another. The question is something like I'm really struggling. I'm really struggling let me speak proper English to be consistent online, and particularly what I'm talking about on social media. So I'm really struggling to be consistent, like what can I do? And so there are obviously a lot of energetics and mindset stuff that can go into like why this is a problem for someone, but sometimes I find that just taking action actually helps to resolve the mindset and energy stuff around it, and you actually don't have to get into some of the underlying stuff. It just naturally gets fixed through taking action. So what I'm doing today? I'm just going to share an exercise that I get my clients to do for more visibility, and this really can be helpful for your consistency. So I'm just going to read, basically because I shared about this actually in my Facebook group. So I'm just going to share exactly what I wrote and you know some of the comments that people have left about it, so ready and you can take notes. This is a really simple exercise for you to get more consistent. So here's an exercise I get my clients to do for more visibility. This is especially good if they keep resisting putting their content out, which is so common for coaches who haven't crossed the six-figure mark.
We do something called 10 plus 2. How it works is they set their time into 10 minutes and after the 10 minutes is up, they have the piece they will use, right, but we want to add a little bit of grace so they reset the time into two minutes and allow themselves some time to tweak it and edit it. After that they have to post it or schedule it or post it when they are meant to. The beauty in this is they don't get caught up in overthinking and we all know how easy that can be. They accept that not everything they share is going to be groundbreaking, and they certainly don't have to live up to some invisible version of perfection. They also begin to think about what their people and clients need to hear and put in the time to actually think and or research before sitting down to create. So they're ready to go Now.
One little change to this is that I recently had a client with dyslexia who does so much better by giving herself 15 minutes to write. The point isn't how long you give yourself, but that you give yourself a container to get it done, stop procrastinating, and that this is good enough. That way, you get to create more visibility and peace. So, yeah, that was like um part of the post that I wrote in my own Facebook group and, uh, I just thought it would be super powerful to share that for you guys who are struggling with consistency. I know what that can be like.
I have been there and I have done that and honestly, I think for most of us. If we don't have the right structure for ourselves, it can be really, really hard to be consistent and to get the amount of visibility that we need. Okay, so I hope that that was a really helpful short action-taking thing that you go and apply if you are struggling with consistency. If you do go and apply it, please come to my Facebook group, which is the Confident Coach Academy Business Coaching Group, and join us and let us know how it went. Or you can message me on Instagram at Kushla Chadwick Official, and let me know, say hey, Kushla, I used that strategy, the 10 plus 2 exercise to get more consistent and visible, and it worked for me. Or, however, you know it goes, I would love to hear how it goes for you. All right, my friend, lots of love and sunshine and I will catch you later.
