Speaker 1:This is the end of our trip. We're actually we have to be in the airport in about five hours, no less. We got time, we got time, we got time. I have to be in the airport, but it's gonna be like a recap. It's going to be a recap episode about our experience. This is definitely a different trip than our first season for sure 100.
Speaker 1:The people that you're gonna see on this on this season are super dope people, people from and not saying last season wasn't dope, no, that was dope last season was super dope.
Speaker 2:That last season really opened doors I feel like last season made this season possible yeah, for sure 100.
Speaker 1:So shout out to everybody from last season which maybe in season three they're gonna be, some of them are gonna be coming back for sure they have to, and gotta bring back some duos. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, we'll bring like benassi and iski together, you know. But this season was great. It's a great blend of different kind of people, different kind of background, backgrounds, different kind of success, different walks of life, different industries. So me that get to act like this season is a super dope one.

Speaker 1:Man the love we got here this trip as well. We went to some places, by the way, cominda que nada, comi mama. I'm hungry right now and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to eat in a few minutes, but the? Where are you going? I think I have a feeling I know what you're doing. So, guys, um, this season has been an amazing season we have. We have over here. We have a bunch of polaroid of all our guests. We came here with the intention of our goal okay, we need to get eight episodes, two months season, right, we ended up getting reaching 10. And then, at the end, we ended up having 13, including this episode.

And then the third person was the guy that brought this, but he came over. He has some natural products. It's called delighted, delighted. Okay, so, and the thing is, I've seen this in different mini markets, so I would really.

But it was just me, justin, it was DJ Biggie, it was Michael Mendoza, it was MC Chaos also was there, the owner Rico was there, his wife was there, we were like 15 people, it was just us, everybody, like everybody out, and then the DJs were just like rotating, like taking times.

Speaker 1:We started before we even get through. Shout out to Akoya ew, 100%, I know we're sitting in this Airbnb right now. We rented out an Airbnb to, you know, pasatiempo, like have a little vacation. In the end, it ended up not being vacation because we added more people to the list. Pero Acoya, it was the first person we reached out to like hey, we're coming over here and we're doing on like pretty much, cut, cut us off, llega. They gave us a two-bedroom villa.
Speaker 2:Yeah, shout out to Henry.
Speaker 1:Yeah, henry, thank you very much. He supported us with this. We shot 10 episodes in Arcoia, super nice villa. You have your own private pool, my own private room, own private room and bathroom. Sorry, that's funny. I didn't even know there was, like you know, a bathroom in this room. I didn't know, I didn't know. We each had our own bathroom, our own bedroom. Every now and then Breakfast was nice, too Worth it.
Speaker 2:We went to breakfast as well. We got like a breakfast special.

Speaker 2:They had like events every night as well. They got like a breakfast special. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they had like events every night as well. So there was like things to do.

Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they had like things to do, but Akoya definitely came through for us. I'm not even going to lie for you. Like we did breakfast, I went to the gym. Okay, I didn't get to go to the gym a lot, but I went to the gym and the fitness center by the spa. It's a nice place to walk around the whole premises too.
Speaker 1:It's amazing, it's very pretty, so I had to go get the list because I had it here. On Monday we got folklore night. On Tuesday we got Caribbean night. Wednesday they had saxophones. Thursday they got trumpet nights there you go. Friday karaoke we already go. Friday karaoke we already left by then, though. Yeah, we left. We left on friday um saturday latin night, and sunday they got cuban night. So every single night, not even the activity going on on the premises. They have a nice pool. You have a bar next to the pool, the restaurant's also by the pool, everything is by the pool actually, yeah, and it's a whole vibe.
Speaker 2:It's like once you, once you leave the villa and you want all your rooms and you want to vibe out there like you're at the resort.
Speaker 1:At that point, yeah and then and you have like options, like you can have a one-bedroom villa, two-bedroom villa, three-bedroom villa or just a regular hotel room with a balcony.
Speaker 2:So for sure it's an optional place.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's not like a one size like. Well, it is a one size fits all but Ocado Cameta.
Speaker 2:I mean there's also like the single big, big, big houses as well, Like with the stairs and all that good stuff. Yeah, that's what I mean. So it's like options.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so, like they have whatever you need to make your needs, and it like mambo beach, it's like a, I don't know, a five minute car ride or less. Yeah, so it's five minute car ride from mambo beach, about five to seven minutes to peter my, which is a very nice area which we're going to get into as well. Um, I just like this and it's not too far from the airport.
Speaker 2:You can't remember the airport, I think like 25 minutes ish, give or take.

We went in with a super fan and a guy that I just know of you but I don't know you Like talk to me and that's such a great conversation. But I've seen that deep thing. There's always going to be a party. There's always going to be all these other things. Yeah, the opportunities that happen in your path. They might only just happen one time, so you can choose to either go party or go live the ha ha, let me have a khazakh type mifrinda or be like like, hey, you know what? Speaker 1:We had three. Now, fifth episode was the. He recorded this one outside of the airbnb, outside of afghan. We went on location because we wanted to record at their place, showcase the place a little bit. One thing and hopefully I fixed this is the audio, because there's a lot of wind and stuff, so you will hear like a lot of wind in the background, which hopefully in post-production I'll be able to fix. If not deal with it, because I'm sorry yeah like it is what it is it gives you the element like you're there as well.

Speaker 1:We went one night at dinner because they also serve dinner now, so we went for dinner. That's when we bumped into Justin and the Kobe who did on the bar pay and we went. The next time was for the recording and that we spent like half a day there because we were there hanging out. At the beginning we were setting up the other podcast. We hung out for a little bit afterwards and then we went out um shout out to everybody who's given us um like recommendations for restaurants too.

He's the director of state bay, the caribbean tourism board. He was also part of this conversation. We talked about them hitting their goal next last year and then it ended up being 700,000. We ended a conversation not like what are you going to talk about, but it ended up being a nice conversation about Curacao, the culture, the history, the parties, the festivals, the culinary. We had, we went to Peter Mai twice, we went for Mayatakiria and then the pizza place and the pizza place we went to.

Speaker 2:But I think they were you can clearly and they were running like two, two new people restaurants yeah and yeah, and there was like two new people for sure, they were definitely new, but the food was good. Yeah, yeah, where else did? We go where else did we go? I feel like we went. We went like a bunch of different random places as well.
Speaker 1:You went to van gogh. The coffee spot was that good I didn't get that was good.
Speaker 2:That was really good actually. Um, the juice was a bit weak, but the food it was good the smoked salmon with the croissant and the avocados.
Speaker 1:Nice, it was wet I went to I when you guys been there. I had lunch with Jeff, yeah, at hidden at the sea or something. It's like a beachfront like restaurant. It was also nice. I had just like kip setay, like nothing. Jeff had a salad which looked bong. I was like, damn, I should have got that me asking for a salad. Like, yeah, that spot was good we went to Cascada, rooftop Cascada.
