Speaker 2:

I know but we have a lot of work to do.

Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you, shargy. So we have big plans. The food's alright. I love it.

Speaker 2:

The idea came from me and Justin, and then I said, why not Caribbean? Yeah, the answer was, but Caribbean, that's only fried chicken, right? And I'm like what the who?

Speaker 4:

said that.

Speaker 1:

What are you?

Speaker 4:

whispering in his ear.

Speaker 1:

He's whispering stuff and then he wants to act like he's mad that he's next to me, exactly.

Speaker 5:

He's enjoying it, so I'm gonna scoot on this side of the table, me too.

Speaker 4:

I'm like what is going on, you're a little wild today.

Speaker 5:

I'm truly, truly gay and I'm baby. I'm black. Let's go. We couldn't tell. That's crazy.

Speaker 5:

This is why we had to put Mr Justin Ethan, aka Chef Cox, on OnlyFans.

Speaker 6:

Next to this guy, chef Cox, onlyfans, let's go.

Speaker 5:

We haven't started yet right, Not yet Still waiting for all you guys. All the fans First started get subscribed.

Speaker 4:

Thank you, welcome, kiana. Welcome back. Thank you, anir.

Speaker 5:

Fun fact. I mean I don't know up, but we had an interview with kiana's mom. Hilarious good time fabulous. And now we know where she gets her energy from so if you haven't seen it yet it's either out already, go look at it. But it's not, oh yeah, wait and it'll come out. Yeah something like that.

Speaker 1:

Either way, you're gonna see it yeah, am I recording now.

Speaker 5:

I just did a double check I'm sorry, let's go all right guys.

Speaker 5:

So today we're at a special location and it's something you, if you've seen the podcast, if you've seen these two episodes with kiana and justin, you know where we are today. We've talked about this in a vision a year and a half ago with you, and then last year we spoke about it with you, and today we're sitting with mariska and we're in the monday. Monday caribbean is not a reality. It was a vision to a year and a half ago and today wild.

Speaker 1:

How does?

Speaker 5:

that feel.

Speaker 1:

I feel like we have to just jump right in. How does it feel to know that something that was just an idea, a plan, executed to such a beauty and your locals are actually enjoying it?

Speaker 2:

anybody, anybody it feels great, of course, but you know we are already working on our next, so we are not like oh fully, because we we see a lot of things that oh yeah, we need to do this, we need to do that, and so maybe we should enjoy it more.

Speaker 1:

I think so first, this place is gorgeous it is but it's we have a lot of work to do. Thank, you Shargi, so we have big plans.

Speaker 5:

No, I love it, the food's all right, the design good job, ladies. The food's okay you know I went to Randy's had better I'm kidding it's okay, oh, quality, it's okay.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to have a promotion to Randy's.

Speaker 5:

The food is good. The food is really good.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you guys had some snacks. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's tuna tacos.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I like the one. The carne carne soba. The carne soba.

Speaker 6:

The taco carne, I believe. I think carne soba is better.

Speaker 5:

I just want to make sure I'm saying the right thing. God damn, I don't know, I don't know. A rib, a rib, short rib, back ribs, I don't want that shit right now. Okay, okay, it's okay.

Speaker 3:

It's in our Dutch no, no, no, no.

Speaker 6:

No.

Speaker 5:

Hey guys. By the way, this is going to be the first time I'm going to be speaking Dutch today.

Speaker 2:

Vandaag gaan we Nederlands praten.

Speaker 5:

Een beetje Nederlands, this is the first time I'm going to speak in Dutch on this podcast.

Speaker 6:

We gaan aan mix praten. Ja, een beetje.

Speaker 5:

Het is Curaçao. Aruba, pomer, papialans, papimento Geen.

Speaker 6:

Spaans.

Speaker 5:

Papialans.

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 5:

Hey, hey, hey, get your phone away.

Speaker 6:

Get your phone away. I took it out.

Speaker 5:

I took it out. Yeah, Okay, let's switch back to English.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, give him the phone, yeah that was the rule we had it. My wife doesn't want my phone.

Speaker 3:

My wife, my wife, my wife, my wife, my wife, my wife.

Speaker 5:

My phone, so if you don't yeah very well, don't compare us to her. So I want to talk about what was the journey like creating this place. What was the struggles? Are you okay? The sun's hitting you.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't want to have the shot in my face.

Speaker 5:

I'm just focused on keeping the good angles, but we'll be fine, we'll be fine. So let's talk about the beginning of monica. What was the start of this?

Speaker 2:

where does this idea come from. So the idea came from me and justin yeah, a couple of years ago, um I um was asked to create a new concept in one of the Corendon hotels, and Corendon is a tour operator, but they also have their own hotels. And then I said, why not Caribbean? And then the answer was but Caribbean, that's only fried chicken, right, and I'm like what's that?

Speaker 1:

Who said that Don't say who said it, because otherwise he will be fired.

Speaker 2:

So I will not say it, he'll be fired. I cannot fire him, but we can cancel. So then I said, okay, let me prove you wrong. And then I googled and there were two Caribbean chefs in Holland. So I had a meeting with both of them, but with one of them I didn't feel any connection, and with Justin it clicked like instantly.

Speaker 5:

This guy is a social guy man.

Speaker 2:

I can see why, but he's also very creative and obnoxious and annoying Emphasis on annoying.

Speaker 5:

Especially the last part Emphasis so we Relax and annoying, but okay emphasis on annoying, especially the last part.

Speaker 2:

But so we we, so we connected instantly and then yeah it all started and um yeah, we never stopped being creative from that point on so yeah, that's that was the start of monday and what was like the design going into, like how did y'all envision this specific place, the location and all that good stuff? So the location was an easy one, because it's close to a corenon hotel and it was easy for us to um make it a reality.

Speaker 2:

To make it reality and the um, yeah, the design and the interior. That's more like how do I want to feel when I go to a beach club or how do I want to feel when I go to a restaurant? And I think that for me it's important that it's not too chic, not too fancy. Uh, I just want to have good food with friends or family and, yeah, enjoy myself and don't feel like, oh, my god, do not touch this because it's too expensive, or whatever so just easy going.

Speaker 1:

I must say I do feel like y'all embody that essence of a beach club. Yeah, perfectly, because it gives that exact. Then a few nights ago we came and there was a cruise ship here.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's awesome that element.

Speaker 1:

It just it was. It just gave you luxury, but at a great price, and it feels like something that is off the island, like you had to take a boat or a yacht to get here. But that's not the reality. It's he, it's you're in. You're still in curacao. So I think y'all did an exquisite job when it comes to that whenever you want to you can see me wherever this is.

Speaker 3:

I think this is what you guys need when you have to control his pr. You can see me wherever.

Speaker 5:

I think this is what you guys need when you have to control his PR. No for real Whenever he comes the first time.

Speaker 1:

He'll sign his contract with a lot of people. He's just like breathing.

Speaker 5:

That's why he's talking some crazy shit, but I love it. That's what.

Speaker 4:

I like about you. He's a big kid. He's a big kid, he's got two moms.

Speaker 5:

Relax.

Speaker 1:

Justin.

Speaker 5:

But I really wish this is something Aruba's missing.

Speaker 3:

For sure it doesn't exist.

Speaker 5:

In Aruba Beach Club there's this Nikki Beach or Reflection Beach, but it's not this, it's just a bar near the beach.

Speaker 2:

Or just Uva, if somebody's listening. We can use some investors. Yeah, you can be some investors.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, you want to be part of Aruba. Nah, nah, we're looking for some investors for Aruba.

Speaker 4:

And a nice place.

Speaker 1:

in Terreno Natchi there's some very rich people in Aruba. So yeah, no, for sure.

Speaker 5:

If they hear it on this podcast.

Speaker 6:

you want 10% Three one.

Speaker 5:

Go keep going. Who else Is that your phone number? Are you sure you want 10%? 3, 1 go keep going. Who else is that your phone number? Are you sure you want to share that?

Speaker 1:

yo bro howdy he's like that's a dollar sign.

Speaker 5:

Boy, I don't know what you're talking about so for you guys it wasn't that, for you guys it wasn't that difficult with the location, so you guys were blessed like I'm like, super like, where is the hotel? By the way, is it this? Way so it was super nice for you guys to find location so close to the hotel, so that was the easy part. And when it come to the designing part, like I love this menu, it's pink love I like.

Speaker 6:

Okay, this is a butterfly every location of us that is is own mascot. What's?

Speaker 5:

the mascot. Well, there's also like an iguana in the menu.

Speaker 6:

That's Amsterdam New West. That's an iguana.

Speaker 4:

Amsterdam New West. Maybe it's better that Kiana explains that.

Speaker 5:

Chef.

Speaker 1:

Let's go to Kiana.

Speaker 4:

Let's go to Kiana, Kiana explain the design, because you're wearing pink, the menu is pink, everything is pink in here, marisco is really the one responsible for the entire design, so you guys can ask her all those details later, these little things in terms of branding, collateral and marketing. That's me, but it's true. Each Mondi has its own spirit animal, because we just thought that it was appropriate to give each one its own animal right so. Mondi Nuest is a flamingo.

Speaker 3:

This one is a butterfly.

Speaker 4:

And the Skybar is a parrot. We have three different mascots for three unique locations.

Speaker 1:

All have a different color scheme something else, but with the Mondi emblems. I love that.

Speaker 5:

I love that y'all bring which animal? If you happen to open one more next one, which animal would that be?

Speaker 4:

I'd like a turtle.

Speaker 5:

I agree.

Speaker 2:

Me too.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and I feel like turtles are like perfect for Mundi Aruba, so it could be.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, what are you whispering in his ear?

Speaker 1:

He stay whispering stuff and then he wants to act like he's mad that he's next to me. Exactly, Boy bye.

Speaker 5:

He's enjoying it so much. He, he's enjoying it so much he loves it. This guy loves it.

Speaker 1:

You want to talk about it. It is what it is. It is what it is.

Speaker 5:

Don't die on us. I'm going to choke on this, please don't, please don't. You know I've never been. I went to the one. What was the one you told me? The one in the school, the me, the one in the school, the one that wasn't in the school, the college hotel, the college hotel, yeah, yeah that's the one I went to, and then I found out I went to the wrong one. I should have went to the one in West where they had all the carnivals and stuff.

Speaker 4:

Where that was Caribbean nights that night.

Speaker 5:

I remember this happening.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was with my wife, but it's a 10 minute drive. You didn't want to just drive to the other one.

Speaker 5:

I already ordered everything, like I text the hand give me PD, give me PSA. And I'm like, yeah, I thought it was going to be ambient. What the fuck is this? And then I go out. I'm like, oh wait, we came to the wrong one.

Speaker 3:

The food was good but the atmosphere was was no, you were expecting a party, I a fucking like cocktails flying no, that's the other one.

Speaker 4:

Cocktails were flying.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, dancers, women, no they didn't lay up in there you went at that expensive table, oh child what child?

Speaker 1:

yeah, they have like a very expensive table. Like you can book a table?

Speaker 5:

yeah, yeah, like a minimum spend type of thing but, that's a couch, that's fabulous.

Speaker 6:

What do?

Speaker 1:

you couch a cage a cage.

Speaker 5:

What do you mean? What did he say? I was like what is a couch? Like a couch.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to scoot on this side of the table.

Speaker 6:

I don't know.

Speaker 5:

I'm like what is going?

Speaker 3:

on.

Speaker 4:

He's sexual with it. You're a little wild today.

Speaker 5:

So I want to know. So what's going on now? Like you guys are all residents in Holland, Are you guys moving back to Oru, curaçao, curaçao, back and forward, because you have businesses running in Holland and Oru?

Speaker 1:

Curaçao how does that work?

Speaker 3:

You don't want to like boom, boom, boom.

Speaker 1:

No, no, that's a little extra, that's crazy.

Speaker 2:

No, that's a lot. No, it is it is it is, but when you do something you like, it's not a terrible job to do. So I'm flying back and forth. Kiana and Justin are staying here for a longer period, and then Justin and I agreed that we will.

Speaker 5:

We keep switching, yeah, we keep switching.

Speaker 2:

So when he's in Holland, I'm here, when I'm in Holland, he's here.

Speaker 5:

Someone has to be responsible. Yes, are you sure he's the right person to be responsible? This was luck.

Speaker 6:

So he can be responsible when he has to be when he has to be On the order. Yes, of course, but now it's playtime, because y'all are Exactly Okay.

Speaker 5:

So was it difficult to start this beach club I mean, there's other places here in Curacao as well Like, will it feel like a competition?

Speaker 2:

So for me it's never a competition, because I believe in abundance. There's enough for everybody. And everybody has their own guests or clientele that they attract. So I'm not running a race, I'm just walking my own, or we are walking our own path. So, yeah, we are not aware of any challenges like that.

Speaker 6:

Got it yeah Got it got it.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, don't worry.

Speaker 6:

Facts. I have a vision, I want to do something. I want to do something. I want to do something.

Speaker 4:

That's important you always have to look at yourself and do your own thing.

Speaker 6:

Of course, people will always do things different or maybe better than you.

Speaker 1:

But that's a lesson or something you can take with you, or it's something that suits the other, it suits the other.

Speaker 3:

You don't have competitors. We.

Speaker 6:

Something that fits the other person Exactly. I always say you don't have competitors, we are all co-colleagues and we work for ourselves. To give the guest at our place. A nice experience.

Speaker 5:

And he wants that too.

Speaker 4:

He doesn't want anything else, so you go to one spot.

Speaker 5:

That's one experience. Come here, it's a different experience, yeah. So it's not really like a competition, it's more like what?

Speaker 4:

kind of vibe do I want today?

Speaker 1:

There are enough tourists for everyone, but it's the same thing, like with the different mundis that exist. If you're going to look at it as a competition, they're all in competition with each other at. So you have the option to choose. Hey, do I want to go to this monday, that monday, that monday, that monday.

Speaker 2:

Or do I not want to go to monday at all? Yeah, but just choose the monday that fits you yeah exactly.

Speaker 6:

I think that if you're just like that in life with everything you do, you know. At least then you are more at peace. Yeah, if you always look at someone else. Compare they say in Dutch the grass is greener, always at the other side. That's Dutch that's English.

Speaker 5:

I just translated it that's why we love you Justin you know, what's crazy about me is like when I'm or this might be bad, whenever I'm drinking, for some reason I function so much better.

Speaker 6:

I'm more aware of everything around me, but you come from Aruba that's why Maybe, maybe Is there like a battle between Aruba and Curacao.

Speaker 5:

Great technique, I don't know. We're always winning.

Speaker 3:

I don't know. Oh yeah, I love you.

Speaker 5:

I love you, but Arubans are known to drink a lot.

Speaker 1:

Don't tell Arubans you have an open bar. Yeah, we show up and we clean it. They drink every time. Don't do that.

Speaker 5:

You tell us oh, there's an open bar in my world. That's where we're going today.

Speaker 3:

Get ready?

Speaker 4:

Seriously, yes, I don't know you why.

Speaker 1:

Who is?

Speaker 2:

better Arubans or people from Curacao no good more beautiful.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, listen.

Speaker 5:

Shark is going to be Curacao, because we talked about this before oh, tell me all about it, y'all man here, oh, but Aruba is smaller how many people lives in Aruba? 120,000.

Speaker 2:

So it's a lot, it's almost the same.

Speaker 4:

It's almost like 60,000 we have 150 150 dude.

Speaker 5:

Oh it's really it's a full male island, or who?

Speaker 1:

cares like the reason.

Speaker 5:

The reason why he likes Carissa is because what he said in a podcast in the past is you want a specific like a guy, a black guy with a blue eye and white hair. It exists.

Speaker 3:

You will find it, carissa has options, yeah.

Speaker 5:

And Aruba is like one standard package and that's what you're going to get, but a little bit of fluctuation, depending on the income.

Speaker 1:

They just all have a big belly and there's just hair and that's what you're gonna get a little bit of fluctuation depending on the income. They just all have a big belly and there's just hair and there's just like excuse me.

Speaker 5:

I mean I'm married now, so like the weight comes with the package. You know, you see what I mean. That's a Ruben man. I'm gonna get back to it. The next curious I see them, I'm gonna be fit okay, we'll see let me adjust them fit 30 days hey I'm saying 30 days, 30 days. I go to the gym, I come home I have pasta. I'm like no, no, no.

Speaker 6:

Get away bad bitch.

Speaker 5:

Get away. The cocktails here are fucking good by the way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

They're going to keep them coming.

Speaker 5:

Guys, if you come here, get the rosemary mezcal so good, and it's going down like a juice.

Speaker 1:

So I have a question. Last time we had a conversation, it was said that there would be multiple Mondis opening in Curacao. Only they got a little cafe as well. Right, what's the status on that? And what other Mondis can we expect, because we already got the beach club? Are we getting more beach clubs or are we getting different elements of Mondi?

Speaker 4:

I think the idea is to do something with this group, whether it's going to be of Mondi. I think the idea is to do something with this group, whether it's going to be called Mondi or not. That's still something that we're discussing at the moment. Maybe it's time at this point to come up with a new concept, a different type of cuisine and branch out. Curacao is very small, so that's my opinion, but that's something that we're openly discussing in this time.

Speaker 2:

yeah, yeah, but we already opened a mondi cafe right within in the hotel yeah, but that's not open to public, that's just for the hotel guests.

Speaker 4:

Exactly, is the hotel all inclusive?

Speaker 3:

the hotel is all inclusive, all inclusive.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, brandon, okay, our pilot stop.

Speaker 1:

That was mondi Stop. I didn't know that. We're going to show you Please.

Speaker 2:

It's like a cute little cafe when you can drink coffee.

Speaker 5:

Same vibe, like this Tropical.

Speaker 4:

It's a really nice vibe. It's small, just coffees and pastries and teas and things like that.

Speaker 2:

So that's like a test. You're testing it out, is there?

Speaker 6:

Pilot.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a pilot.

Speaker 1:

So Curacao already has two Mondis.

Speaker 2:

Curacao already has two Mondis and a third one is coming up, but, as Kiana is saying, if we will call it Mondi or not, it will at least have our signature.

Speaker 6:

So basically it's something, something small by Mondi, Maybe, maybe maybe Our biggest dream is to have multiple concepts in our group.

Speaker 4:

That's common in hospitality groups it is. It is Like group hospitality in Miami and have different concepts.

Speaker 5:

In Miami you have a lot Like what's the guy David something.

Speaker 1:

I remember it was called Renaissance Branches under the mother brand, like in Aruba you have Gianni's group. Yeah, like what's the guy David something. I remember it was called Renaissance branches under the mother brand, like in Aruba.

Speaker 5:

You have Gianni's group. Yeah, they have an Italian restaurant, a steak restaurant, a sushi restaurant are they all called Gianni's?

Speaker 4:

no, it's called Gianni's group. It's on the Gianni's group.

Speaker 5:

It's a Gianni's restaurant but they're called Daniel's by Gianni's. Like this one, asia they all fall under the brand. Yeah, Garden Fresh.

Speaker 1:

That's what we want to do. Okay, so then it's probably not going to be a Mundi, but it's going to be something by Mundi.

Speaker 2:

It's probably not. It's a baby of Mundi one of their kids. Okay, I have a Mundi group.

Speaker 1:

Of course I have a Mundi group, because that also gives more job opportunities for the Mundi brand to grow, and we can also see, maybe, something that's more your alley, something that's more your alley, something that's more up his alley. So I love that, I love that concept thank you coming soon in two months we're open.

Speaker 2:

Few months, oh few months. I was saying two months.

Speaker 5:

She's like don In two months we're open A few months, oh, a few months. I was saying two months. She's like don't push it, relax, justin. No, yeah, yeah, yeah, a few months, a few months. So you're going to invite us to the opening?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because we're going to get an invite for this opening as well and we had to invite ourselves, which is fine.

Speaker 6:

We had a deal.

Speaker 5:

I was like I'm going to cook here.

Speaker 1:

That was the deal.

Speaker 5:

And then I was with Chef Irvin. It was a weekend with Mondi. It's a chef's table at Infini, it's a 12-seating nine-course, something like that. And I was like I was saying you should come to Aruba for just one weekend and cook like three nights, and I have like a specific kind of.

Speaker 3:

A pop-up shop, a little multi-pop-up.

Speaker 5:

I told them a year and a half ago it could be arranged.

Speaker 6:

But right now I'm here so it's for me easier to go to.

Speaker 5:

Aruba.

Speaker 6:

Yeah you're closer and let's make it happen, let's go.

Speaker 5:

Shit, I'm tired. Remember the day, huh.

Speaker 6:

Okay, remember the day. Okay, okay, wait, wait, remember the day. It's five past five. You should have my wife text me.

Speaker 5:

Where are you, oh, wyoming?

Speaker 3:

I'm beginning to sound like.

Speaker 5:

I'm.

Speaker 1:

Wyoming. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm just looking Five past five the hell Nah.

Speaker 5:

So what else can you guys tell us about Moni? Like, tell us a little bit more. The cocktail is amazing.

Speaker 4:

I've only had two different cocktails, but they're my favorite.

Speaker 1:

The food's really good, I just had the what, what was it? The bajiriki sauce? Oh, that was fantastic. Yeah, that was really good, a little bit of rice in there.

Speaker 4:

I don't know what's in the bacalito, just you're the chef. No, there's no rice, just fish. Pakkalyaw right.

Speaker 6:

No, not codfish, it's a codfish. It's called pakkalyaw right.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so it's good.

Speaker 6:

Umm Bloem.

Speaker 3:

Step one.

Speaker 5:

He doesn't even know his own menu. I'm thinking.

Speaker 2:

What do I put in it? No, no.

Speaker 6:

First you make your bakiaw Like you want it on taste. So you put the bakiaw in the pot.

Speaker 1:

One language, pick one, it's okay.

Speaker 6:

And then you put I know I'm going to explain, but I'm going to explain it Please.

Speaker 5:

Do it, do it. We're not angry.

Speaker 6:

This is a multicultural podcast Do your thing, okay, so you make a bakkoyau with a lot of flavor. Then you add flowers flavor, and then you make balls out of it. You can do it with Funchi or with normal flowers, and then you make balls out of it. You can do it with Fungi or with normal flowers and then you're going to peel it, but we do less flowers so that the baklava really comes up. And then we do those panning so you get that nice crisp and then your nice sauce.

Speaker 6:

And then we have a mondi sauce.

Speaker 5:

What's the mondi sauce again? I'm not going to tell you that I tried last time too Damn. I'll try again in one more year.

Speaker 2:

But even we know the recipe, we don't even know.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, you want a bit of whiskey with soda and Red Bull. Five drinks later you're going to ask this is the recipe. Actually I tried it like two nights ago. We were at Bar Pays.

Speaker 6:

We have a lot of dance days. I'm a little bit tired.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 6:

Speaker 5:

He was going to sing. I'm like, bro, he was singing. I was embarrassed, I was like I'm not with him, no.

Speaker 3:

Speaker 1:

I'm kidding.

Speaker 4:

Wait what We've met, justin the MC.

Speaker 6:

We've met him. We met him. They told me I'm Tommy Justin. Today is DJ Rubber Rick.

Speaker 5:

Rubber what.

Speaker 6:

Rubber Rick. That's Ricardo. That's DJ Biggie MC Justin Rubber Rick.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, that's right.

Speaker 6:

Why is it called Rubber Rick? That's his DJ name, Rubber Rick.

Speaker 5:

Why Rubber Rick yeah?

Speaker 6:

Like rubber, like rubber, rick, yeah Rubber.

Speaker 1:

Rick, that's his DJ name. That's weird, right.

Speaker 6:

Maybe like you know don't be silly or rap that, willie. I'm happy Guyana got the joke, but okay yeah.

Speaker 5:

He drove me home. What?

Speaker 6:

about me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, please, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5:

I mean Aruba, to be honest.

Speaker 6:

Corsa Nightlife is so much better. Yeah, yeah, no, for real, I think.

Speaker 5:

I think maybe because it's different, like here everybody comes at the party have a good time. In Aruba Some of the clubs people just meet on the wall.

Speaker 4:

But wait today's Thursday right.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

You guys should go to Peter Mayen today. Maybe you should take that. No, no, no, no.

Speaker 6:

Justin, please.

Speaker 5:

I had no drink. I'm not the one ordering bottles.

Speaker 3:

No, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.

Speaker 5:

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I know there was a bottle there. We all started drinking from the bottle.

Speaker 2:

I'm like I don't know it sounds like Justin.

Speaker 5:

Yes, Listen, he was a good host that night. He came here I don't think you knew we were here, you just showed up and then he sat with us. He had some drinks.

Speaker 2:

He was a phenomenal host. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

It was good we spoke to Don from Afro Bros. He was supposed to come as well. He never, showed up, but chaos did show up.

Speaker 6:

We met him at the party, but it was a very nice evening.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, the vibe was nice. We all ended up staying. Thank you, guys, for calling us. Well, thank you for the invite today, so we're going to see you at Peter May tonight, right, yeah, hey. I'm just Tuesday was Justin, Thursday is Kiana. Hey.

Speaker 6:

And Mariska, but Kiana drinks tequila soda.

Speaker 5:

I love tequila.

Speaker 6:

Okay, Like Reposado.

Speaker 5:

Añejo, let's go.

Speaker 6:

Check out, give me some 1942. Amazing.

Speaker 5:

Love it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's, true, Stop, stop. Oh my God, yes, stop stop, stop, yes, let's have a cute night out.

Speaker 5:

Your mom told us to go eat at.

Speaker 1:

I object.

Speaker 5:

Your mom told us to go to Come.

Speaker 4:

But I would go tonight To something in Peter Mike, that street like.

Speaker 3:

Taqueria, one of those things.

Speaker 4:

I'm having dinner with my parents and some of their friends.

Speaker 5:

I'm sure your mom will understand. I don't know. Those guys are nice. She should definitely go with them. I'm just saying how many times do you find some really shocking, really shotgun Torian in Curacao?

Speaker 4:

Once a year now, but it should be twice a year. It's cool, it's going to be twice a year.

Speaker 5:

Your mom also supports that idea. You guys should come twice a year.

Speaker 4:

I definitely think so.

Speaker 6:

Okay, everybody. Sometimes they need a little bit of sponsorship, so if you want to see more of these podcasts, in. Curacao sponsor no Filter podcast. Would you be our first sponsor A place to sleep, not a ride. A place to sleep, not a couch, just a place to sleep. And some tickets, right? Tickets, let's go All that. Tickets right, okay, let's go Bang bang.

Speaker 5:

I think Mondi will be our first sponsor.

Speaker 4:

Not the bang bang again.

Speaker 5:

You promised us he's big with his bang bang.

Speaker 3:

You won't say bang bang, bang bang.

Speaker 4:

You promised Bang bang, we love you, but no more bang bang.

Speaker 1:

Wait, what's the history behind bang bang?

Speaker 4:

Nothing, it's just Boof. Boof says that and he's not Boof Bang, bang, bang, bang bang. We need to come up with a new phrase.

Speaker 6:

Say that Candela.

Speaker 4:

Candela grande.

Speaker 5:

I think yours would just be like amen or something. It's like you guys are so happy you're on this side of the table oh my god, everybody hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god. So what was in your cocktail?

Speaker 4:

legit because you want another one you want another one.

Speaker 5:

This is amazing. Yeah, this is wild what did you have?

Speaker 4:

again the rosemary mezcal and Jess, you want another one.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, no más.

Speaker 1:

And then strawberry, and oh, not casa.

Speaker 4:

All right.

Speaker 1:

All right let's keep it pushing. Okay so what is the expectations for this year for Mundi? Because I saw y'all had a brunch party and all this good stuff going on and that looked extremely lit it was. What can we expect for Mundi, Caribbean, right here, the Beach Club for 2025?

Speaker 2:

More brunches for sure for 2025. More brunches for sure, right? Yeah, brunches. And we have some um like concepts we are working on. In holland, we have a concept called 25 plus, so that's like an r b? Um party, but then we also want to do this combined with a brunch. So, and what else do we have?

Speaker 6:

we have I think just a lot of different concepts, which is the concept of afro afro house. Yeah, only, lady djs, we are working on our soon yeah this new restaurant is going to open there soon outside building yes, don't say everything, please because there has to be an element of surprise in there for later. So yeah, a few things we are working on.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think the biggest thing is indeed it's gonna be a champagne bar. So we have a very nice exclusive deal with a very nice champagne brand that we're not gonna reveal yet and that will open over there. Like you know, like you have right now all the new beach clips, like valenciaga or this or that, something like that so we're looking forward to that and in terms of monday, I think marisco said a lot of different dinner concept, brunches, parties, day parties a little bit of everything, um, but always, I think the most important thing for us is that people have a nice ambience, a nice vibe, and that the food is great, so great.

Speaker 4:

So that's just, you know, the main focus, of course, the restaurant, and for you know people to be enjoying the Caribbean food and is this place available for if somebody wants to do like a rent out?

Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

Speaker 4:

They want to do a wedding.

Speaker 1:

They want to do whatever.

Speaker 4:

It's available Everything.

Speaker 6:

Corporate events parties birthday parties rent out the whole thing, just the buyout, yeah, yeah, yeah, I had a question hey, what's the goose?

Speaker 5:

ducus, money, money moves, yeah, yeah, yeah, kiana's pressing over here.

Speaker 2:

She tried to give him, uh, media training, yeah yeah, we heard about this when he came with the podcast. When she came on the podcast, he was saying I was trying to give him media training. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we heard about this when he came on the podcast.

Speaker 5:

When she came on the podcast, he was saying I was trying to give him some tips, yeah, and he just fucked it up.

Speaker 3:

Nope, not about us.

Speaker 5:

We started talking about OnlyFans within the first five minutes of the podcast. No, no, no, it didn't matter. Yes, it did. But what I want to say about that is and we talked about it is like I didn't know what to expect from him, because I never met the guy, I only texted with him. I'm like I'm going to get coin. The first impression was bad already, because he came 30 minutes late.

Speaker 2:

That's also sounds like Justin, yeah.

Speaker 5:

And he shows up, and then I did not expect the person I spoke to, which was hilarious. I loved it, so like ugh, Justin, but I can also understand why You're like.

Speaker 6:

Justin no, but I'm a very loving character.

Speaker 2:

You are, yeah, you are, you are, you are.

Speaker 4:

It's different every day.

Speaker 2:

You have a lot of love in you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, bro, a lot.

Speaker 6:

And sometimes I ask my parts, but they already know my parts yeah there's nothing coming.

Speaker 5:

There's no add-ons no cummings, no points. This is what you get. This is what you get, hey switch this what it is.

Speaker 6:

They know me already seven years and she know me and every course more and now we're getting to know you, I am Stop it.

Speaker 5:

What does it mean to be calm? I said calm.

Speaker 2:

I said calm, yes.

Speaker 1:

He doesn't even believe it. He doesn't even believe it.

Speaker 6:

I am always at home.

Speaker 2:

He is always at home.

Speaker 6:

I am married.

Speaker 2:

It sounds more like a question he's asking. I'm calm right Next topic.

Speaker 5:

Let's go back to what we were talking about. So basically, what you're saying is Mondi is not complete yet. It's not complete, no, so based on percentage, where are we standing right now at Mondi?

Speaker 4:

What would you say, Maris? Is it a location?

Speaker 5:

I'm thinking about Mondi, this area, this beach club.

Speaker 6:

No no no, I'm saying.

Speaker 5:

No, no, no, this one. So, like this Mondi area when it crosses a little bridge on this property 70%, oh wow.

Speaker 4:

So that next part is 30% what else are we missing over here? What?

Speaker 2:

do you feel like Just different aspects? I designed a very nice gate. Yeah, a very nice gate. Yeah, a very nice gate.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, a very nice gate. Yeah, a very nice gate. Yeah, a very nice gate.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, a very nice gate.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, a very nice gate. Yeah, a everywhere there are some plants you know that are missing and have to grow.

Speaker 2:

It's like when you have your new house yeah then you have your hardware and then the feeling has to come in right of course make your house a home we, we now have a house, but we have to make it a home you have to build on the walls, like the gates and everything exactly.

Speaker 5:

I can relate right now.

Speaker 1:

Trust me and you also have to now, because it's a different concept. You also have to educate the people of the island, as well as your employees, to what the mondi brand is and what they can expect when coming here. Because it's not. There's nothing like this. It doesn't? I don't to me, then it doesn't, there's nothing like this but I really feel a lot of support from the people no, I'm very happy with the outcome and with their feedback.

Speaker 2:

Of course, they have some feedback, some of them. So Justin is a. He is a fusion chef, so it's not like authentic.

Speaker 4:

Caribbean, you had a taco with tabasco, but it's not rice with tabasco, right, correct?

Speaker 2:

yeah, yeah, yeah, it's fusion and, of course, there are some people who are commenting on that. Okay, that's fine.

Speaker 5:

You can't please everybody.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, and the kitchen, that's his part. Yeah, not only your part, but that's your case. The skin is hurting from his brain, from, yeah, imagination and, yeah, I fully support that. So there are a lot of people who are supporting, who are supporting us here, so I feel a lot of love for our no for sure.

Speaker 1:

That's why I said like you have to educate your public, as well as your employees, on hey, this is what fusion is. Hey, this is what the concept of art is with food and all these different things and it takes time because not everybody is going to understand it, but I think, even without that, what we've seen, especially with the newspapers and things like that, is a lot of people come and they say we can do it ourselves.

Speaker 4:

We can do it ourselves, of course, and I think that there's a huge support for people that are born and raised here and Mariska from Suriname, a neighboring country. They love that locals and we love that for ourselves too, of course. So I think that the love is immense and I think it'll only grow.

Speaker 1:

It's definitely going to continue to grow, like Mundi, definitely again. This concept is so. It's so lux, but it's so affordable and it's so but that's, that's our home it's like it's.

Speaker 6:

It's not that it needs to be barefoot chic. Yeah. So I'm feeling you feel yourself at home, don't feel robbed. You know what I mean. Sometimes you go to a place.

Speaker 5:

You need to spend so much money and you don't feel unwelcome, like yeah, I don't think I belong here, like we wanted you know, yeah, like when we met you.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to say where we met you the night, but like that's kind of giving like a beach club.

Speaker 5:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Remember.

Speaker 4:

Looks yeah versus this, this gives you.

Speaker 5:

I don't want to mention names. I don't want to mention names.

Speaker 3:

That gives you looks yeah.

Speaker 1:

Versus this, this gives you. Oh, I want to spend a day here.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, let's go to Mondia, I think the aim is for us to create a homey feeling, and that's what this gives that you just feel comfortable and even though you're saying From my first day here.

Speaker 1:

I felt the vibe. I was like, oh yes, oh, that's nice and you were happy.

Speaker 2:

But I think that, as owners, you are never satisfied with your product, of course. There's always something that can be improved.

Speaker 1:

But that's why we're here to tell you like, hey, y'all can relax, Because y'all are doing a great job.

Speaker 4:

We won't, but thank you.

Speaker 2:

I also feel the love from your side, from your side. So thank you for that. No for sure, but I think that we will never stop being or looking at our product is okay, what come? What can we do, to being critical? Yeah and yeah, I think so you asked a question about only here. But if I look at what our future plans are, and that is to take over the world with, Caribbean. Fusion, Fine Dining coming from Justin. So yeah, that's our aim, let's go. Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 1:

Another thing I also want to add that I want to give you all props to and I think to me this is one of the biggest things that I've realized from here was your uniforms for your employees. Yeah, YDK.

Speaker 1:

The fact that y'all worked in collaboration with YDK, a local brand, and y'all made the uniforms and y'all didn't even decide to be like hey, you know what? We're going to wipe out your name from the uniforms? Of course not. I want YDK to be there as well, as you know the monday name. So to me, as somebody that has apparel, I feel like this is just a whole different level of collaboration.

Speaker 6:

What?

Speaker 1:

this is this. Y'all put an imprint on what collaboration is supposed to look like, and and this is it.

Speaker 6:

No but for sure you know it's very important like to also invest back in your country right.

Speaker 4:

In your community, for sure.

Speaker 6:

And I think if we can work together we can go miles together, you know. Amen If we go alone there's a very different type of road. We are not like that so we really want to work with local people and do local things, Because we also. Mariska is not from here, but she is coming here for 12 years right now and it feels home for her.

Speaker 6:

Of course it does, and we really want to be part of Curacao and invest back and give back to our island and that's one of the most important things for me To our island.

Speaker 3:

And that's that's one of the most important things for me, so that's why we try to work with a Lot of local brands and, if you want, I can fix a by the game shirt for you guys.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to lie, I'm going to give you one.

Speaker 5:

I think I told you when I was drunk.

Speaker 6:

I'm going to give you one. Later on, I'm going to give you one.

Speaker 4:

We had a line of merch that we designed with Georgie, actually, that we released, but it's stunning what he made.

Speaker 5:

I like the color. Look at the printing it's like a little palm tree.

Speaker 3:

I love it, I love everything about it.

Speaker 5:

It's like a details.

Speaker 6:

I was not involved, thank God.

Speaker 5:

He was angry after that.

Speaker 2:

Really.

Speaker 5:

Why were?

Speaker 2:

you angry? Not angry, but like okay.

Speaker 5:

Why did you be angry? He was a bit upset about it, like a child throwing a tantrum.

Speaker 2:

No, he's luckily not like this, Bro.

Speaker 6:

I cannot do everything, you know.

Speaker 5:

I agree, bro, I agree.

Speaker 6:

These ladies can do a lot of things together, so I leave them. Don't micromanage. I love that. How big is your uniform?

Speaker 2:

Extra large, how big?

Speaker 5:

is your uniform.

Speaker 1:

Large. How do you say A? What's the way? You can't say my name.

Speaker 6:

Not A.

Speaker 2:

No, you can't say my name. I'm not going to say it.

Speaker 4:

No, I don't know his number I don't know his number. I don't know his number, I don't know his number.

Speaker 3:

I don't know his number. I don't know his number.

Speaker 6:

I don't know his number. I don't know his number. I don't know his number. I don't know his number.

Speaker 3:

I don't know his number.

Speaker 1:

I don't know his number. I don't know his number.

Speaker 4:

I want to know that a little bit as well the hiring process but there was a lot of enthusiasm for Mondi to open, I think from the beginning, yeah, and then we immediately started putting out ads online and then the newspapers, and when we put on the ads on social media, I think that that that was something huge, and before that you were doing a lot of stuff. Yeah, right with the shoe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I think that for us it's important that we also hire or employ a lot of local people for it so in our, in our team, we only have two girls from Holland. The reason is we met them. They were so nice and one of them. I know their dad, her dad for many years.

Speaker 1:

So he asked me my daughter was like that but, the girl with the gap year?

Speaker 5:

the girl has a gap year, yes, and her father asked me please can she come to Curaçao?

Speaker 2:

I want her to learn how to work, because she has to work hard.

Speaker 1:

Of course.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, that I think those are the two only Dutch girls that we have not, I think, I'm sure and the rest are all locals. And, yeah, we have the pleasure to also have beautiful locals, so glad you did that because my team everybody looks gorgeous like models.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I wasn't cute as well. I'm not going to.

Speaker 6:

I'm sorry, we have one lady from Suriname, hey, hey.

Speaker 1:

And my mom.

Speaker 2:

But the lady from Suriname. She also lives here for eight years now, so she's local because oh my god, another guy.

Speaker 1:

Which one Him?

Speaker 3:

He's the artist, he makes music. He makes good music.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's a producer, I think right.

Speaker 5:

Yes, yeah, I thought you were just fucking ready though.

Speaker 1:

No, david the the, I don't shit hey, make it, get us no. Oh my God, I just said life is good. Dj Crocs and they played his song. It's like Afro beats type of thing. He's Alejandro's cousin, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he makes good music.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I listen to him on Spotify, good music, good music.

Speaker 3:

You guys have DJs in the building. Look at that. I listen to him on Spotify. Good music, good music.

Speaker 1:

We also have DJs in the building.

Speaker 4:

Come on.

Speaker 6:

If you want to work with Monnie, you can still apply. We are still looking for handsome, lovely artists, nice people to work with, but wait a minute.

Speaker 2:

You don't have to be beautiful, you just have to be fun and to like it Everyone is beautiful Indeed. That's right.

Speaker 1:

You say that very well. Justin is really beautiful Well.

Speaker 6:

Ridiculous.

Speaker 4:

Hope you love.

Speaker 6:

If you can, I'm also part of love.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

Speaker 5:

regards to Mundi yeah, please share some more information. Before we close this out, you guys want to do like some big parties, bringing DJs here.

Speaker 4:

We have our first Caribbean Nights, which is a concept that started back in 2021, I think when, yeah, 2021. That's on January 30th.

Speaker 5:

Oh yeah but you don't have to bring it in. Oh yeah, that's on January 30th. Oh yeah, we're not here.

Speaker 4:

I saw the ad about it this is airing in March, so scratch that we have a Caribbean night every month, so every month the last. Thursday of every month, we have Caribbean nights.

Speaker 5:

I gotta say the fabric is super nice. I agree with Troy Shout out to Georgie. I asked him like hey, so who's your supplier? We're also trying to make shirts for our podcast. No, you don't tell me, I know, I know.

Speaker 1:

I'm asking that I'll do that after I ask you, give me a little bit, as you should.

Speaker 3:

I ask you, give me a little bit.

Speaker 1:

As you should. I hate it when you ask me that shit. Like don't ask me but do your research.

Speaker 5:

I like that. This is something you can wear going out.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm wearing this out. I got a fit for it already.

Speaker 4:

Send us a picture. When you do, I'm going to tag Monty.

Speaker 3:

His ego loves it. He's a cool guy.

Speaker 1:

I'm also with Ken's back. What's up?

Speaker 5:

It's.

Speaker 6:

I'm used to it. I don't know.

Speaker 5:

Look at this way. Look at this way.

Speaker 2:

What else can?

Speaker 5:

you guys share about Monday.

Speaker 2:

I mean we're happy to be the foodies. We have something. Let me ask you this what is something? Let's stay on track.

Speaker 5:

Let me ask you this what is your favorite food item on the menu?

Speaker 2:

I'm really fan of the bacalaitos, if I pronounce that right, super nice. And I think the bacalips.

Speaker 5:

I almost had that last night and I didn't go for it. Oh, you wanted to try something. I just had a few appetizers and then, Justin showed up, and then we started drinking.

Speaker 1:

What was the last one?

Speaker 2:

Bacaribs, bacaribs. Oh, the ribs, the short ribs. It has the short ribs, okay unless.

Speaker 5:

When we were here the other night. I wanted to try it, and then we decided to order them Cheese balls, croquettes, both tacos.

Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so standard. You guys didn't tell me that that's almost the same thing that I ordered for you guys.

Speaker 1:

It was good, yeah, but it was good, we just did it, okay, well, when?

Speaker 4:

we're done here. You guys can try more stuff obviously.

Speaker 5:

I got to go pick up my wife. You guys have to try the egg gangbos Without me.

Speaker 2:

What the fuck. But she cannot come Because you invite her to come here.

Speaker 5:

No, I have to go pick her up. She's at the hotel.

Speaker 2:

Oh, in which hotel are you staying?

Speaker 5:

We're staying in Acoya, oh, acoya, yeah, so she still works online, so she couldn't make it. She had meetings.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 4:

And then she probably.

Speaker 5:

She just finished like 30 minutes ago Okay. Let's chill.

Speaker 3:

Okay, it's in.

Speaker 5:

March. It's in March, it's all good, she forgave him by then.

Speaker 1:

At this point, yeah, or I'm just dead?

Speaker 5:

I don't know. It just never gets uploaded. Always forgiven.

Speaker 3:

Always forgiven.

Speaker 5:

I'll skip. So, Kiana, what's your favorite item of the menu?

Speaker 4:

I think for me. I'm not much of a shrimp person, but we have a really, really nice shrimp dish here that I eat the entire week and then I switch again the week after.

Speaker 6:

Kiana ate the burger one week.

Speaker 4:

Every day she ordered burgers.

Speaker 1:

What. Yeah, the smash burger you don't look like a burger person.

Speaker 4:

I was last week.

Speaker 2:

But she is not a burger person, she's, I love eating person. I love.

Speaker 5:

Okay, I'm eating burger. She looks like a tall boy.

Speaker 2:

Bro, listen to me. She kicks, bro, listen to me.

Speaker 5:

But she's always on a diet. You have a diet, a diet, kiana the kind of thing.

Speaker 6:

Can I have a pastiche please? Pastiche Food, Always food. She just did it an hour ago.

Speaker 5:

It's like I'm on a diet. I call it creatures. I can't go catch it.

Speaker 6:

I'm like, yeah, I'm a man, Kiana, she has her thing. Like Friday she can eat pastiche, but every day is Friday, that's rule number one. Then number two like in the Netherlands, there's a specific kind of bitter ball that she wants to eat. Because if it's different, she doesn't eat it, so every, every day she's trying to skip a day. She ordered bitter baller with mustard.

Speaker 6:

Like one o'clock the first thing was she asked when she came at work, who's in the kitchen like who's in the kitchen was cooking and then she, and then she asked what is your food? And if there's something that she doesn't like. She ordered tacos.

Speaker 1:

I love how much y'all know each other. That's crazy. We're a small family.

Speaker 4:

Yesterday around 4 o'clock, Bolas goes, isn't it snack time for?

Speaker 5:

you.

Speaker 4:

I said I just had my snack.

Speaker 5:

You just missed it five minutes ago you just missed it, yeah. A little bit earlier today.

Speaker 6:

I know Piana and Mariska so good. I know exactly. They know you good too. No, fuck it.

Speaker 2:

You can't start something last week they were angry with me and they were not talking to me.

Speaker 6:

And then, okay, continue no, I I know exactly when there's something wrong, like yeah, if I come in the morning I oh, okay apparently I did something you know? No, no, no. Look when I call her, like we call each other like I don't know, 10 times a day what have you done when I when? I pick up the phone in the first sentence. I know, everything. And it's hi. Okay, she's visiting. I call you later, okay.

Speaker 2:

No, you're not saying that. No, let me sit, I'll say it later. That is even more annoying. No, let me sit. What happened last week? There was something.

Speaker 3:

And he goes okay, let me.

Speaker 4:

I can't get it out of my words, then you have to try to get them out of your words. Try to communicate better.

Speaker 6:

I'm going. I'm going, I'm going to go Kiana, I'm going, I'm on my period. Okay, Bye. Yes, okay.

Speaker 2:

Yeah we have the same period. Oh, my God.

Speaker 6:

I'm working with two ladies on a period, on the same moment, on the same time see you later.

Speaker 1:

Justin is not today, don't call me.

Speaker 6:

You know what happened I was like oh, that's why she's like that. Kiana was like I'll see you, I'll see you in five days you know what it is, then everything falls together you know. Okay, I'm gone, it all makes sense. Bye, that's crazy, let that shit wear off.

Speaker 1:

You know what it is. Then everything falls together. You know Okay, I'm gone, it all makes sense. Bye, that's crazy.

Speaker 2:

Give me a snack, and we'll be fine. Just act normal and we'll be fine.

Speaker 5:

I don't think that's possible for Justin, for Justin I support him.

Speaker 1:

Y'all acting for a lie. Why no tea, no shade, I'm just acting lie. No, tino Shane, you need Jesus.

Speaker 2:

You need Jesus he needs Jesus in his life. No, he really needs.

Speaker 4:

Jesus you've said that already in the podcast we already heard that you're loving caring.

Speaker 2:

Why don't?

Speaker 4:

you explain your dreams and your vision for 2025 or for the coming five years, oh that's a good question.

Speaker 1:

What can we expect from Mr Neeson in 2025?

Speaker 4:

Top three goals Bring it into the universe, top three goals Get myself locked down.

Speaker 6:

Opening our new restaurant in Antille. That's number one. Number two Opening our new restaurant in Antille. That's number one Number two, opening a new restaurant.

Speaker 3:

Miami.

Speaker 6:

Boat.

Speaker 3:

First. First cruise ship yeah, oh wow, the new cruise ship.

Speaker 5:

It's on camera.

Speaker 4:

We just said it in the mic.

Speaker 1:

You didn't hear it.

Speaker 6:

Everybody knows that we're going to start with a boat, but not.

Speaker 2:

It's not a boat, it's a cruise ship. Not a cruise boat.

Speaker 3:

A ship From the same company?

Speaker 5:

Yes, does Grandin have cruise ships?

Speaker 4:

Starting in November.

Speaker 5:

I know you already have like Cominda when you come from Holland to Curacao.

Speaker 6:

Oh yeah, that's also a very new thing we're going to do all the planes of Coreano. We used to do only the Airbus that's flying to Curacao.

Speaker 5:

So I developed a new concept. My brain is trying to.

Speaker 1:

So wait, now you're going to get all.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, we're going to do all the planes of Coreano.

Speaker 5:

We talked About it already.

Speaker 1:

No, that they were gonna do, just the ones that are coming from Curacao.

Speaker 6:

No, we do right now Amsterdam, curacao for two years already I'm doing

Speaker 5:

this two years now.

Speaker 6:

He's gonna do all yeah. Puppy it's my job you know I like my job, so I see it as an accomplishment.

Speaker 3:

But I was already working on this for two years already Of course.

Speaker 6:

To be ready to do this big step, you know.

Speaker 1:

But the fact that it's happening is a big deal of course.

Speaker 4:

It takes a lot of development time, and I mean food is different in the air.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, we have a few things that happen and this and that we have a lot of development time, and I mean food is different in the air.

Speaker 2:

We have a few things that happen and this and that we have a lot of tastings.

Speaker 5:

You can invite us to tastings. Those are the parties I want to come by. Kiana is definitely a tasting I could eat like.

Speaker 6:

I'm sorry, I love the tastings Because right now I did like I do quality control every day.

Speaker 5:

I love that you you can serve this For this new menu.

Speaker 6:

I'm going to do a to-share concept on board. I made a fully new to-share concept on board so you can, because in the Netherlands we have short flights.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, flights For one or two hours or three hours. Yeah, a little cheese ball cookettes, so we're going to do a full new concept on board.

Speaker 6:

Super nice.

Speaker 5:

That's really really great. We talked about it two years ago and now you're here. Same thing with this place About a year and a half ago, last year. Now we're sitting at it.

Speaker 1:

I'm honestly excited because I feel like having these episodes are like diaries. Then we can go back in to be like, okay, well, y'all said this. And then to come back and then, especially, do like updates with y'all To be like, okay, well, remember what we wrote or we talked about before it's actually happening. So now we have today as a new chapter and then by next year probably, or in a few months, we come back. It's like's like okay, give us the updates we're doing all of this right.

Speaker 4:

That's been said, and then achieved, said, achieved, that's really really I'm proud of y'all yeah, so am I.

Speaker 1:

So am I really really really people actually out here doing the big ones and y'all are breaking barriers for not just curacao but like for the sister islands, everywhere else. It's like look at what our people are doing, because y'all could also like easily. Y'all are like on your way to becoming like a Wendy's brand that you get like a Wendy's everywhere.

Speaker 4:

We're getting a bunch of Wendy's everywhere.

Speaker 3:

And this is a place in Aruba, though. You know what I mean, so it's huge.

Speaker 5:

He's like let's fix Aruba. It's more complicated than that. It's all politics and permits.

Speaker 4:

Don't worry, you guys can podcast with all the politicians 100%.

Speaker 5:

Listen, we're going to be, we're going to. We're the Joe Rogos of Aruba. Like we decided, we helped the election. We helped the election. People, people came. People came up to us and said like, hey, what's up At the airport. He said I left the airport. I begged. Please let me out of the airport. I forgot something. Without it, you might as well cancel this trip. He let me out and on the way he was telling me hey, what's up? We were going to vote for someone and then we started watching your shows and we completely voted for a whole different party, a whole different person. But it's great. It makes me feel like, oh shit, so we did kind of have an impact on elections.

Speaker 4:

Recently they started interviewing politicians in a room.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he told me there was an election, so we're very happy. That is quite Sensitive. Yeah not only sensitive, but that you realize what you contribute. Yeah, the impact that you have. Yeah, exactly what you contribute.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, the impact that you have is very important. Some say it, sometimes I don't see it. And whenever I say it, Because you're just doing something you love, yeah, but I say it's like it's so crazy people like our shit. It's like motherfucker, they've been liking it for two years.

Speaker 1:

But, for me.

Speaker 6:

I don't doing this. I don't know, I know.

Speaker 5:

So when I have you, I'm like alright cool, I've already been working on it for two years.

Speaker 6:

My mind works like this, and Mariska Kiana also. We have something in our mind and we work through it and then we accomplish it. But we already know that there's a second thing already.

Speaker 1:

But that doesn't mean you can't be ungrateful to god I didn't say that I'm saying you have to stop sometimes and show a little bit of gratitude onto hey look how far we made it. You know how many other people that this is just a dream and it would always just be a dream, yeah y'all are actually making dreams reality but that's something to be grateful for.

Speaker 4:

This podcast is a good moment. I think that we haven't had a moment, really, except for the first night right that we did a little huddle in the back at fb, as you should it's a big

Speaker 1:

deal that we haven't really taken a moment to reflect no at all so many things things are always gonna have to be get done. That does not mean you can't say, hey god, you know what, thank you, you really did your big like no, but I think you're hard maybe we didn't do it uh together, but on a daily basis of course yeah, internally I really do wake up and do it exactly.

Speaker 2:

I wake up and give my thanks to uh first for waking up, of course, amen right, amen, right, and then yeah, and then to everything that we have and that we can do. So.

Speaker 1:

But y'all are a team, so that's why it's so important to like bring that together. Like, hey, listen knock, knock, knock, knock. Guys, look what we did. Yeah, yeah, and we had a small ritual.

Speaker 2:

Good ritual, good we have three bottles of champagne ready and we all wrote down a goal. A goal, yeah when we have reached this goal, we will open this bottle.

Speaker 1:

I love that. Okay, I'm close to that. Yeah, so we have a ritual. Okay, good, there's something in place, are?

Speaker 5:

you guys close to opening the bottle um, I think yours first.

Speaker 2:

Right, I think yours first. I didn't read it.

Speaker 4:

Or did I know what his?

Speaker 6:

is.

Speaker 4:

Break even in three months. Shit no say it.

Speaker 5:

That's impressive, that's a goal.

Speaker 1:

It's a realistic goal. I love that.

Speaker 6:

Look, I always say you need to put your standards high, but you need to put your standards high, but you need also be realistic yeah because you need to be happy with everything that you do.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. You're gonna be disappointed, but then I think we did, because who's the second then?

Speaker 2:

I think I am Of course.

Speaker 5:

Kiana yeah, we're opening one in Mykonos, no problem, literally on the beach, with three yachts outside. Okay, it's 2045.

Speaker 3:

We finally made it I think that in a year I'm not going to say anything. You can't say it. You can't say yours or no we're going to reach it.

Speaker 2:

You can't say it Is it yours or no, we're going to reach out. Let us know I'm going to jinx it. Yeah, I agree If I say mine, that I will jinx it, because I never told anybody mine.

Speaker 5:

Oh, I don't know yours.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know, he probably forgot I bet you forgot, he forgot, so that's why.

Speaker 5:

I'll come around and ask you, don't put it on him now.

Speaker 1:

He will just put it on him. Look, look, look. So it went in perfect steps.

Speaker 6:

Listen to me, listen to me. What happened? Oh my God, she came at me. She came at me.

Speaker 2:

I call you. What is that? Okay, okay.

Speaker 6:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

I remember.

Speaker 3:

I was there.

Speaker 6:

And Mariska was walking through.

Speaker 5:

She, justin, what do you?

Speaker 4:

say Great story no more stubbornness.

Speaker 6:

She pulled me over and said Justin, what's your first goal? And I said right away this one, Done Nothing else.

Speaker 3:

Yes, and then she said actually that's a good one, justin, I said but honey, this is it.

Speaker 6:

And if we achieve, this, then we can't stop. Yes, do you understand and you're about to accomplish it. Well, look, you know what it is. You also have to be happy with what you're doing.

Speaker 4:

Exactly.

Speaker 3:

Look there are also boundaries.

Speaker 6:

Yes, and I just think that's important Because, look, if we're all happy, then we can make each other even happier. Exactly, and that's what I think is very important, we have to do it together in the end. Amen, I agree, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I agree, because if everybody's under 100% and they're top percent, you're just bringing to this an explosion Exactly. So yeah, I agree with that.

Speaker 6:

And every step is a step closer to it. Every step is a step closer to it.

Speaker 2:

But sometimes it's like this we look back and we think, oh my god, it's quite an audacious goal.

Speaker 1:

And then you look back and hey, we did it. Yes, of course.

Speaker 2:

And fortunately we are also like we are fighting our way through it. So sometimes you just have to say okay, of course, and luckily we are also like we are fighting our way through it. So sometimes you just have to say Okay, fuck it, I'm sorry, yes, don't we love that.

Speaker 5:

Finally, finally, let's do it yes.

Speaker 4:

It's just a battle of titans.

Speaker 1:

Either we're dying or. It's a swim baby. It is what it is. It is what it is.

Speaker 6:

She always says Of course, Swim Baby, it is what it is. It is what it is. She say always we die fighting. Yeah, that's really my motto she always say to me Justin, listen to me, If we die, we die fighting.

Speaker 1:

Oh, to the end, of course. Till the end, and together. Till the end, together, yeah.

Speaker 6:

And that's also the way how I think If I need to go 10 steps further, because we have to. I'm in different. Fuck Vampire.

Speaker 1:

Vampire yeah.

Speaker 6:

Against all odds, there's nothing that can break us, you know. Amen, we got it. God, we trust that's it, amen. Let's go Sit there, bang bang. There it is.

Speaker 2:

He was waiting he.

Speaker 5:

He was going really well, until just now. What is this? I agree, I agree.

Speaker 6:

If you cannot, it's like same with you guys. You are doing this so many years already. You guys are having success. You see, your business is growing. Your podcast is growing. You're influencing people like influencing people in a good way. So you also see the, the fruits that you are coming out of the tree all the trips that you pay for you.

Speaker 3:

Thank you, carry the mirror.

Speaker 6:

So yeah you pay your own trips. You don't have nobody to get sponsored, you guys.

Speaker 5:

I don't know who I told this. We reached out to Zia like, hey, you know, support this.

Speaker 6:

They just left us on read Okay, guys, it's fine. It's fine Because in my mind.

Speaker 5:

I'm like do this, it just would have been helpful, but we don't need. But we're fine, we're still gonna do this shit with you. Without you, we don't give a fuck if we have to spend some money to be here and we did spend money to be here and it's fine because we enjoyed this as well like 100 the amount of knowledge that you get.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, from everybody else's experience. There's certain every keywords that y'all say. That is things that I can apply for my own business and for my own life. So it's like okay and you, you have that with every single person that you have a interaction and a sit down with.

Speaker 4:

So, of course, the, the, the, the knowledge that you gain, you can't really put a price tag on that, it's just yeah, but I think not only for you guys, but the knowledge that you spread yeah, of course, this trip.

Speaker 5:

we were having a conversation on the way here. We had a conversation this morning with Kev the singer.

Speaker 4:

Double V. Right yeah, double V and Dots.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, I didn't know about the Dots I found out today. So we had it with.

Speaker 5:

Kev and your mom, okay, and I was telling the story like fuck man. Like today's podcast really made me rethink a lot of things in friendship, in business, how I see things and all the people we've interviewed. I've seen different certain words, keywords, points and it all. There's a silver lining here and I'm like, wow, everybody's just like fuck me.

Speaker 6:

Do what you want to do, don't give a fuck. Did you ever saw the the um thing from, uh, jake paul?

Speaker 5:

jake paul the documentary. Oh no, I haven't the one before. Before the fight what are you guys? Are doing, because jake paul also started like only making podcasts, fuse, vlogs, and later on he went like sky high being one of the best market marketeers from maybe he's not the best freaking boxer but like he knows how to market a fight and make a lot of money, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, you told something about him. What is the fight of what he did the best marketing?

Speaker 2:

yeah, yeah yeah, at that moment I thought it was the best marketing stunt ever yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5:

People can say whatever the fuck they want about you, but at the end of the day, they're still watching. My bank account looks great. I don't know about you but I did, I did.

Speaker 1:

It was just marketing. That was exactly what that fight was. Yeah, but if you need to.

Speaker 6:

You need to really look at his documentary yeah, is it on Netflix or YouTube?

Speaker 4:

I think Netflix, right. No, I've seen it on, maybe HBO.

Speaker 5:

I'm pretty sure I can find it. You will find it, you will see he and his brother.

Speaker 6:

There was a certain time that they had a fight yeah because their brother has 100k followers yeah, I do.

Speaker 5:

I do follow the brothers.

Speaker 6:

They had a fight. There was a few years. They didn't speak with each other. Only about followers and who's better than them. It was crazy. You really need to look at it. It was very.

Speaker 5:

Eye-opening.

Speaker 6:

Eye-opening. I don't know how to explain. Sometimes, in every journey from another person, you can find lessons.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 6:

Everybody has his own path.

Speaker 2:

Maybe it was empowering For sure To keep going through.

Speaker 6:

Because there was a certain time that he was nothing anymore. A lot of people were bullying him out and he had no views anymore, and the only thing that he was doing is keep going, keep going, keep going, and then he started boxing.

Speaker 4:

It's a nice story, and I think again, it kind of explains the power of social media right, which is what you guys probably experienced with the entire political thing is just keep the amount of people that are, that are watching you. But also, what do you have to tell? Yeah, right, and what's your responsibility, or our responsibility, as people that are saying something? What's the message that you want to bring, as it stays online forever and ever, exactly?

Speaker 2:

But isn't the most important thing? Just to stay authentic. Yeah, stay true to yourself. That's it Because playing a role it doesn't bring you anywhere.

Speaker 4:

You're going to get exhausted. It's very exhausting for yourself.

Speaker 2:

And I think that's what Jake Paul is also doing. Okay, he's a bit crazy and a bit the Lulu, maybe, or maybe that's what he wants people to believe Exactly, but he's making it work.

Speaker 4:

But just like Paris Hilton, right With her fake blonde voice Right.

Speaker 6:

He does a few marketing stunts. I think I saw it on YouTube. Just things that you think why would you do this? But what happens there? Just 200 million views. Things, just crazy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, craziness, but people like authentic and they like different. Those are two of the things that you notice, even like on TikTok, some of the most viral TikTok videos, like Demure. But all of these people they look different they physically look different and that's why it's like the different people just saying the most. Oh, that's very demure, that's very cutesy.

Speaker 4:

Look at him now, and now look at him.

Speaker 1:

People like that type of shit. So if you can look good like this and then just market other, yeah, like people like that type of shit. So if you can look good like this and then just market other things, you're good to go?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course.

Speaker 1:

You need nothing else.

Speaker 6:

Internet and a phone and most of the time the stupidest videos work the best.

Speaker 4:

Pindu, pindu. But, like you said, the realest things, right, the realest things that come out of your mouth.

Speaker 6:

We made a few TikToks together, very nice one. We also went fighting a few times. Yeah, yeah, you see.

Speaker 5:

I saw the massage therapist.

Speaker 4:

Extend those that one.

Speaker 6:

That's.

Speaker 1:

Lola Brooks. This one went viral.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, and which one that I'm watching in the restaurant with all those things on my head. Do you remember that one in rest?

Speaker 4:

yeah, that's like the tiktok how a restaurant, how everyone thinks a restaurant owner walks into a restaurant and then how he really walks in yeah that's just the real life, the real experience of a restaurant owner slash chef gotta love him Epic. Or not.

Speaker 5:

Sometimes no, I'm kidding Sometimes you want to choke him, but that's okay. But we need a chef, that's okay.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's okay we lost each other.

Speaker 6:

Everybody got his own power. Yeah, but I think now it's.

Speaker 4:

sometimes we even enjoy the fights and we know that it's okay, it's not that serious.

Speaker 1:

In. It's not that serious. In half an hour we'll be fine again.

Speaker 4:

It's a siblinghood that I feel like nobody can interfere in.

Speaker 1:

It's not something that people have to understand. Y'all get it exactly. That works exactly so it's like if you get it, you get it, if you don't, then it's not for you to get.

Speaker 5:

Anyways, I feel like you guys should put a camera in the office and just let it film the whole day just to see what happens.

Speaker 3:

We go viral.

Speaker 6:

We need a documentary of our life, because there's a lot of crazy shit Some wild

Speaker 3:

shit.

Speaker 6:

Maybe we can do it, but Maresca, we want to do it. Maresca was like no wait a minute.

Speaker 3:

Wait a minute, wait a minute. I have a professional career.

Speaker 2:

Maybe not serious. I'm serious, but I'm also the oldest.

Speaker 4:

Which I only recently discovered.

Speaker 2:

She was telling a story that somebody who was 45, very old, and I'm like that's old, I'm older than that.

Speaker 4:

And she was like what Maybe? You never knew her. You've been with her for like five, seven years.

Speaker 3:

I didn't know her age. There was never a point in time where I had you look good baby.

Speaker 1:

You better work.

Speaker 4:

That's when I was like what Are you?

Speaker 2:

40 plus Are you kidding me so, but that was. I think I'm more abandoned than the two of them. I don't need to be on the the forefront no that's not really my thing.

Speaker 1:

You're the behind the scenes type of gal, we'll get shit done, right.

Speaker 2:

So and then when people say oh, are you also part of Monday? Yes, I am, but we didn't see you. Okay, that's okay, yeah. I still see my bank account, so.

Speaker 5:

I'll just do the kick the clack in the background. Yeah, hey, one thing I do gotta give you guys everything is like branded.

Speaker 3:

I like it thank you, you got this, you got the menu.

Speaker 2:

You got the so for what is a syese word for how you're doing?

Speaker 5:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

And then, yeah, dushi, you know right Of course.

Speaker 1:

So we melt it. I love that. Yes, that's what I think I love the most about the dynamic is the attention to detail. There's detail in every single aspect. I feel like everything was so thought through. Y'all left no stones unturned, maybe not for y'all because y'all are the perfectionists. It's your vision, so you will never be content, but as somebody, that this is not my vision.

Speaker 1:

To us it's wow, and I feel like every time now that you come back, especially now that we know that it's not all the way done. Marketing is having people involved in the process, so letting people know that hey, we're not done, but we're getting there gives them the sense of oh okay, we've been back. Oh they got this thing.

Speaker 3:

Oh for you, I'll keep it a noble You're growing along with it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, they got this thing. Oh, my God, I'm so proud of you, guys, y'all got it. People are going to be celebrating your accomplishments like it's theirs, just because they feel part of the process. Yeah, absolutely. So. Don't overcomplicate things just because it's not done for y'all, because that can, that can be the whole process for everybody else yeah it is no, you're right, you're absolutely right, Guys.

Speaker 5:

Speaker 1:

You are welcome when the champagne door is open and you are more than welcome.

Speaker 2:

Champagne showers, champagne showers yeah.

Speaker 1:

I want to come for a brunch. Oh yeah, I want to come for a brunch. There's a brunch going on I want to shake my ass right there.

Speaker 6:

Okay, I think easy, I need to spawn.

Speaker 5:

Speaker 1:

I put fans on my Instagram.

Speaker 3:

Instagram.

Speaker 5:

What do you do on Instagram? Only fans.

Speaker 6:

Just in my Instagram.

Speaker 5:

Okay, okay, okay. What's your one goal, personal goal for 2025? Not business.

Speaker 1:

Get married.

Speaker 5:

Someone to lock you down. I think you have to say cut now, cut.

Speaker 1:

It's an end, no personal goal, just someone to lock you down like for real.

Speaker 5:

I think you have to say, cut now, cut yeah, yeah, yeah, bum, bum, bum.

Speaker 1:

It's an end I go. No personal goal. All right, he's doing it, he's doing it, he's doing it. That just goes to show where his mind is at you never say something like that.

Speaker 3:

That's where his mind is at.

Speaker 6:

It's like the set. Oh my god.

Speaker 2:

No, you know, I love your wifey. Oh yeah, she's great, she's really great.

Speaker 5:

You met her, of course I did Of course we did yeah. You've only seen pictures and heard great stories, hey stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop stop. You're like, you're like, you're like.

Speaker 3:

My personal goal.

Speaker 4:

He has flinders.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, flinders so cute, okay.

Speaker 4:

Like our Monday mascot.

Speaker 6:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Personal goal Personal goal is To communicate better Yay.

Speaker 3:

Yay.

Speaker 6:

Wait, is that your goal or my goal?

Speaker 5:

Because I also have a perfect goal, their goal, for me.

Speaker 6:

But maybe is that a good one. Yeah, communicate better. What is yours?

Speaker 2:

though, yeah, what is yours?

Speaker 1:

That's been the question for like a good minute now.

Speaker 6:

I want to try to be 100%. I think working right now on 75. Be more healthier you know I'm healthy, but trying to be 100%. I think working right now on 75. Be more healthier you know I'm healthy, but trying to be better.

Speaker 3:

Hey man, we're going to first start with cutting out the alcohol.

Speaker 6:

Yeah. So, like my, dry January went wrong since you came on the island, so you fuck it up.

Speaker 2:

Wait, my fault, my dry January was only one day yeah for.

Speaker 3:

January. I'm just going to understand.

Speaker 2:

You started the fourth we just got here.

Speaker 6:

Okay, so my personal goal is to get this year more healthier. Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 5:

I think that's my personal goal. Let's go on this side, Mariska. What's your goal? Your?

Speaker 2:

personal goal oh my God. I'm just thinking about it, my personal goal.

Speaker 4:

But. But first it's your social handles right. Okay that's it, your handles, your social plug. What do you call it?

Speaker 1:

Your social media, like your Instagram.

Speaker 2:

Oh my social media Mariska Nunez. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

I was like what.

Speaker 3:

Mariska Nunez, just Mariska Nunez.

Speaker 2:

And my personal goal is to get a better balance between work and.

Speaker 1:

Personal life and my personal life.

Speaker 2:

That's important Because I worked a lot last year and this year and this year.

Speaker 5:

The year's only begun, okay.

Speaker 2:

The year just started, but, yeah, I want to go to Cuba.

Speaker 3:

Nice.

Speaker 2:

It's a personal goal. Yeah, I think those are the two things.

Speaker 1:

Work on it. Please Do work on that. Work life. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going to book.

Speaker 2:

Cuba is just. We're going to book the tickets.

Speaker 5:

There's the book.

Speaker 2:

yeah, oh and the three of us going to Colombia. That was also.

Speaker 5:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 6:

Oh, wait, wait we're in Colombia.

Speaker 5:

We're in Colombia when, because we were talking about when or where, where and when, where and when. I don't know, is it Medellin?

Speaker 2:

Because Diana is my Colombia chica. Colombia, chica I don't know anything about Colombia.

Speaker 6:

I would say Cartagena, medellin and Bogota and maybe do a little trip around everything. Don't take him to Medellin. Don't take him to Medellin, you can't take him anywhere. No, we're going to ruin that one.

Speaker 5:

What's your personal goal for this year, Kiana?

Speaker 4:

I think mine is similar to Justin's. I think that when you have a healthy body, you operate way better and you're connected more to yourself and to God and to everything. So for me, I'd really like to reach a certain target weight that I've had in my brain for a while Stop eating pastiches.

Speaker 2:

Exactly it's very difficult in this environment.

Speaker 4:

But I think similar to also tequila. Stop drinking tequila. I'm going, guys, I'm going, I'm going.

Speaker 2:

No, but we believe in you. You can the suhuya. Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 6:

We believe in you Every morning. Blu Max, I went yesterday. I know I saw. Yeah, I was there.

Speaker 4:

Tomorrow we go to and you don't knock on the thing when I'm with you. No, but I saw you there, you know Leo, okay, so I think that's it Nice To a healthy, balanced, happy 2025.

Speaker 6:

Yes, amen Kiana also going to marry this year, I heard.

Speaker 5:

Shit. She didn't say anything bad so I might have to believe you. It's not up to me.

Speaker 4:

I'm not gonna ask anyone to propose. I hope he's not watching why are you putting?

Speaker 2:

her on the spotlight.

Speaker 5:

I mean, I feel like that was a fair shot. Nobody bullied him.

Speaker 1:

Nobody bullied him, don't do that don't try to put that on my girl.

Speaker 5:

I'll pull you down, but do you?

Speaker 4:

guys want to share your personal goals for 2025. To close it off.

Speaker 5:

We're the ones that do the interviews. No, for me, I would have to go with my desk on this one. Communicate better. Shark knows this. I suck at communicating, I suck at delegating, so I need to work. It's not a conversation we have in the car as well, so communication is definitely one. Delegating work is. I'm someone who's like I'll let you do it and if you fuck it up, I won't tell you. I'll just hey, it's a good job, I'll do it myself because I know it's going to be done. Right, some bullshit, hey, anyway. So definitely communication, and also get a little bit more fit. I used to be a lot more fit. Got very comfortable in life Eating a lot of pastiches.

Speaker 5:

Love them Eating a lot of burritos, tacos, ribs, no works out whatsoever.

Speaker 6:

I also want to be healthy.

Speaker 5:

I'm trying to be healthy. I want to get in better shape.

Speaker 4:

I feel like that's the basis for everything you function better I want to say you something.

Speaker 6:

I feel like that's the basis for everything you function better. I'm going to say you something Right now. I think the last five years I changed my way of eating you know I drink, but I try to go every fucking day to the gym.

Speaker 3:

Or I do something.

Speaker 6:

If it's not gym, it's boxing or padel. But it's also. Sport needs to be a lifestyle you know?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but it's also for me. It's more like Shark knows it a lot. I'm a people pleaser.

Speaker 2:

That's my biggest problem.

Speaker 5:

That's why you cannot delegate.

Speaker 2:

Because you are a people pleaser.

Speaker 4:

The. Thing is.

Speaker 5:

I'm going to have to hit you up and give you some tips, because my biggest issue is that I want to help everybody Like Nike, just do it. Like.

Speaker 1:

Nike, just do it as one, yeah, like nike, just do it.

Speaker 5:

I can't help it, but I I do want to um. But sometimes maybe say no, but I can't say no, I want to you ask my mom like yeah, I know tomorrow I'm super busy, but I'm gonna say yes, I'm gonna make it, I'll figure out. There are some nights.

Speaker 5:

Last year I was pulling all-nighters like many times to wake up editing, working, uploading and then go to a meeting at 8 o'clock, because I do more than this. I have a studio, I have other companies that run social medias for big companies in Aruba. So I just need to learn how to take a step back and do what Shark does. It's like have a better work-life balance.

Speaker 6:

You know the best. Thing. Something I learned on this trip the best. Thing. I can give you advice is saying no.

Speaker 5:

I'm trying, I'm working on it.

Speaker 2:

If you cannot say no at the spot, so immediately, you can also say let me come back to you.

Speaker 3:

Let me come back to you, I will think about it. Yeah, let me come back to you, I will think about it.

Speaker 5:

Let me come back to you and then you have time, yeah, yeah that's something I want to work on, so sharky, yours oh my word of the year is completion.

Speaker 1:

So, oh, completion, yeah. So that's what that's. My goal for this year is. I definitely want to do less, make more, but I also start a lot of things but I never finish them all the way through, like I start everything.

Speaker 1:

I'm like excited to start things and I'm like, okay, I did it, now move on, I don't fuck with it no more. So I want to do something all the way through, from start to finish, and then move on to the next. So that's my main goal. Other than that, like I have a really great work-life balance and everything else.

Speaker 5:

So very good. One thing I'm going to apply to my life for sure is something I we had an interview I don't know if you know who trent shelton is motivational speaker, really big one. We had him last year. We just released the episode and he talked about like and he said I should implement some of that.

Speaker 5:

Until 12 o'clock, I'm unreachable, so, like when you wake up, until 12 pm, that's your time. Go to the gym, do your personal stuff, answer whatever personal emails you have to do, and then 12 o'clock, you open yourself to like your business partners. And then you know that's something I'm going to apply when I go back. And then you know that's something I'm going to apply when I go back. I told him in the car the first thing I'm doing I'm going to have to talk. I have two business partners. I have to talk with both of them and I'm going to hey, don't text me, I'm putting all my group chats on mute, everybody forever, not eight hours in a week, forever. And if I need you, then like hey, where are you? Do the at some meal? Then I'll get on the spicazzi, but that's the first thing I want to do when I go back.

Speaker 1:

That's how my life flows, everybody knows, don't contact me before 11 30 because I'm not answering nobody I mean I do sometimes I go to the beach I go to the gym. I do everything that I need to do for me. I read my books. Whatever I need to do for me, I'm doing that. 11 30 business. Starts my day. Start anybody that needs me now. Okay, what do you need?

Speaker 6:

in your video. I can do that for you.

Speaker 4:

You need what this 11.30, this quiz this does sound a little bit like cause what time do you end?

Speaker 1:

whenever I'm tired my shift ends at my radio show ends at 8, so after that it's socialized with my people, so I go to my friends house do you have a radio show?

Speaker 6:

yeah, with my people. So I go to my friend's house. You see a radio show?

Speaker 1:

Yes, sir, yes sir 100.

Speaker 3:

Farthings.

Speaker 1:

Chris, take that. I'm going to take it to the radio, sir, amazing.

Speaker 5:

I'm a bad bitch Full time. You know what I'm saying, sir. Hey, Justin.

Speaker 3:

I'm getting in. I'm getting in, justin.

Speaker 5:
