What starts off light gets real fast.

In this episode, we kick things off with laughs — why girls love when guys wear their hats backward, Hell Week chaos, and Samil’s wild weekend. But the vibe shifts when frustration takes over and the conversation turns emotional.

We dive into homelessness, politics, and the growing anger around leaders who keep talking about change without actually doing anything. From empty promises to real-life consequences, this episode goes beyond jokes and into uncomfortable but necessary truths about life in Aruba.
This one gets heated, honest, and raw — exactly what No Filter is about.

In this episode:
• Why backward hats hit different
• Hell Week chaos vs real life consequences
• Samil opens up about frustration and emotional burnout
• Homelessness and political inaction
• Why talking isn’t enough anymore
• When jokes turn into real conversations
No guests. No scripts. Just two friends having the conversations people avoid.

Cold Open And Radio News

SPEAKER_04

Listen, I know the episode is about to start, but I just gotta tell you this. We are now going to be on the radio. XFM 102.7 FM Babies, no filter is about to take over. So your Saturday mornings are about to be even better. Okay, enjoy the show now.

SPEAKER_02

What is up with women that when guys wear their hats backwards, for some reason they're like not all guys that wear their hat backwards automatically, it's like vaginas wet.

SPEAKER_04

It's not that. Calm the fuck down. Like these people are really happy versus They didn't degrade you. The other ones are like, listen, I'm here's a hundred dollars, here's$200, but now you're my bitch.

SPEAKER_02

Silver Sam said yes, and I fully agree. It's after all the tequilas were flying, everyone's having a good time. Just couldn't help people. I couldn't help myself. Let me go home. I ain't got time for this. Nah, you're probably gonna go meet someone and come back down. I ain't tired you out. Shut the fuck up. Look at your smiling. It's really not that.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's really not that.

SPEAKER_02

You're dumb. Like you're watching, I know who you are. You're hearing it first. Shark scars up for grabs. Shut the fuck up. Special price. Either you have thin hair or you have good hair, but not so much. I had two of the worst parts combined.

SPEAKER_03

You had like four strands of hair just going through the biggest.

SPEAKER_02

No, not four strands.

Banter, Filming Setup, And Intros

SPEAKER_04

What the fuck? This party just smells like wealth. Like honey. It was good. It was fun. Of course. I mean, Sam. There is no way in hell you could tell me there was all of that and the party wasn't good. Like, get the fuck out. Hey yo, what's up? Allah Chemistas.

SPEAKER_02

Guys, welcome back to the podcast. No Filter Paradise. It's show about anything and everything. We need two friends. One is straight and the other. Super duper gay babies. Hey guys, welcome back to the show of the week's? Okay.

SPEAKER_04

We're also ABC's favorite podcast, by the way.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I forgot to mention that part of it today. It's okay. We just ate. We just ate. I feel like. Can you flip that camera for me? Sorry. Absolutely. Yeah. I I I here we go. Yeah, and I flip now. Flip it. Yeah, look at other way, other way, other way, other way. Sorry, guys, one second. Sharks learn how to work with a camera. Here we go. Now tap on my pretty face. Magical focus. And I'm back. It's good. It's good. I'm hoping it's good. I look good. Guys, I'm out of focus. I'm sorry. Either way, guys. Do you want me to like do it again? No, no, you're good. You're good.

SPEAKER_01

You're good.

SPEAKER_04

Sure.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Focus, cancel. Focus on. Okay. Spot focus.

SPEAKER_02

You know what? I didn't check the memory, how much memory there's on there, but if it runs out, it runs out. Alright. Did you clear it? No, I didn't. I forgot. But it's okay.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. How do you know how much memory is on it?

SPEAKER_02

When it turns off.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Well, let's make this happen.

SPEAKER_02

I guess we'll keep it on this whole part in a podcast, right? We're still on. Yeah, not being caught.

SPEAKER_04

Like, welcome to no filter.

Rethinking The Show Intro And Branding

SPEAKER_02

Like, this is what it is. I'm gonna ask you something. Have you ever considered or thought about like because this year's gonna be six years of no filter? And uh what? Oh no, like uh six years, huh? Like changing up the like a new intro. Like, I think it it's gonna come this year. It has to be this year.

SPEAKER_04

Which intro do you mean like what we say?

SPEAKER_02

That and like, and definitely a brand new.

SPEAKER_04

First of all, we haven't got a you know that's I'm I'm ready. You're the one that's lacking on that.

SPEAKER_02

So like because if you look at the picture, it's reversed now. Like Shark got skinnier, I got thicker. So like I gotta got skinny too. Like he tried to hide over here. You clearly see like a shadow is like running through the screen. Don't do that.

SPEAKER_04

What's up?

SPEAKER_02

Don't do that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's what you get.

SPEAKER_02

All right. So, no, I want I've been thinking thinking about like, you know, what if we just like change up the intro a little bit of like how we hey, hey yo, what's up? Like all that part, and but also the intro intro itself of like, I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

Drop a comment if y'all think we should, because like we thought uh this is a thing, this is a thing that I've realized, like, especially like me that can't I can't I come from a background of like watching something, and it's it's like it's a fun thing when you know an intro and you can say it with somebody, and you know, like you get into it, even if it's like a uh like a talk show, yeah, or whatever. Like, once you know the intro, you're like, ah, I'm gonna say it with them. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. You get it, like you feel a part of the community once you get it. Yeah, so like switching that up is like for who though? Like, I get it.

SPEAKER_02

I get it.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, it's been changing because we went from like Aruba's favorite podcast to ABC and ABC and it kept changing, you know, it kept changing. So, you know, small changes, not a bad thing. I don't like a complete change. I don't know if I feel about it.

SPEAKER_02

We'll stick with it. But you guys comment down below what do you guys think? Yeah, because we did talk to um Ali, Tribal Kush, to get to make a new intro for us, like for with the beats. Oh my god, for real. I forgot about that. That was a while ago.

SPEAKER_04

And he was on board like year. He's always on, he's always down. Ali's always down. So maybe maybe that intro we fully changed, but we keep the intro of the show the same. Okay, just let us know what you guys think down below. Yeah. Produced by Tribal Kovish, but don't play with it, don't play with it.

SPEAKER_02

Ooh, so what's the name of the agenda today for uh topics?

SPEAKER_04

Okay, first of all, um, how was your weekend? How was the web? The web, the wedding, to ink.

SPEAKER_02

No, it was great. It was a three-day almost well, three-day for me, four-day for them, because they they had one party prior to everybody else. It was strictly just family and their closest, closest friends. Obviously, they make the cut. It's okay. No, but um it was great. It's third, it was Friday, Renaissance Island welcome dinner. And then Saturday was a main wedding itself. And like, imagine like uh like almost 200 people, tables everywhere. Every table had like one gold label, um, gold label bottle, one class azul bottle, and one like like Belvedere. Classy Azul? Classy Azul and Belvedere, but like the higher end of Belvedere vodka. Every single day, and they're just doing shots. They got this Polish um limoncello that they make homemade themselves. Fucking amazing.

SPEAKER_04

This this party just smells like wealth. Like funny. It was good, it was fun. Of course. I mean, Sam, there is no way in hell you could tell me there was all of that and the party wasn't good. Like, yeah, get the fuck out.

SPEAKER_02

It was good, it was good.

SPEAKER_04

I would uninvite anybody that ever said, like, oh, I didn't have a good time. Fuck you.

SPEAKER_02

You're you should get unfriended.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, permanently. By all means, please don't even ever look in my direction. Like, I wouldn't even spit on you. Like, get out of here.

SPEAKER_02

You're on fire too bad. Bye. But uh, yeah, Saturday was great. Um, imagine like uh like the first, usually the wedding is like the introduction, and you do the first dance, blah blah blah. So they did all that except for their first dance. I'm like, what the fuck is going on? And then like um I see them walking down at the soul going onto the golf course. I'm like, what the fuck is happening? Like everybody or just a couple. Okay. They were doing the first dance there.

SPEAKER_03

Aww.

SPEAKER_02

And it's like and it's like on the greenery parts, like very flat green one, and then all around it was like the the sparkles. I'm getting goosebumps. And uh I can show you a video. And um, all of a sudden, fucking fireworks every like it was New Year's. So like look at this. From a from a perspective um of the videographer who was filming, imagine like you're dancing, like you you dip her and you give her a kiss, and the spark, and the whole sky is just like lights up. I think weddings like this only happens like a few times. Like, like, look at this. It was going off. Like the ending, you know how in Aruba, like the last shot is like Yeah, yeah, yeah. It tends to be going crazy. No, there was like they they had, I mean, obviously you need to get permission, everything. Of course. No, it's a it's a whole process. No, there was like I think um here goes every you can see from far already. Like it's just like ridiculous. And and they're down here dancing. Like it's it's it's just like the money shot. I mean, yeah, and then that wedding that went like the the groom and the bride, they're brilliant, they're good friends of mine. But I actually grew up more with their siblings, um, because he's the younger one. And I remember he invited he invited, hey, you're invited to win, but like, there's only one rule. I'm like, what? You can't work. Like, I know you like grabbing the mic, but I want you to guess as a guest that I want you to enjoy it. No problem. First day, that was good. I didn't do anything. Second day, now Silver Sam said yes, and I fully agree. It's after all the tequilas were flying, everyone's having a good time. And then I couldn't help myself. I just grabbed the mic and everybody loved it. So everybody came, dude, you did a great job. You really brought the party up. So I had a and then and that's your crowd.

SPEAKER_04

Because one thing about it, yeah, y'all know he's married to America. Like his wife's American.

SPEAKER_02

And then, like, I and then I went, and then I go singer frogs mode. And I was like, I think people sweating. You know, I'm like, you know what that means. I need a fucking CO2 tank. So I go, I go where I tell you, so hey, do you have a bar? Like, right? It's like, yeah, you have those guns? Like, yeah, if you have those guns, that means you have CO2 tanks. Like, yes, we do. I need you to bring me two. I look at the mom, and she looks at them. Bring him two. And then I put the the the guy first. Oh wow, of course he loves that.

SPEAKER_04

Looking like a big kid. He loves that shit.

SPEAKER_02

I'm screaming right now. Fuck that. And then the white bar is like, I want to do that too. So I bring her up and get another thing.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe we'll pop it over here. I don't know. That's how you fucking do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yo, and they had a man, just like it be it became a whole party.

SPEAKER_04

Everybody's jumping. I love to see white people dancing. Like, like they just believe in a good little hop, and they are having the time of their lives. Like they're just jumping for the like Anthony.

SPEAKER_02

You better the shopping card. But uh no, the wedding was sick.

SPEAKER_04

Uh, I love the what happened afterwards.

SPEAKER_02

I think there was an after party, I don't remember. And then yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a guy that looks like me. Everybody confused us all the time. Are you guys brothers or cousins? Everybody. Like, I don't think I have a picture of him. I do have him on Instagram so you can see it, but he's slightly shorter than me. But like tall. Huh? Sorry. No, no, never mind. That's not nice. Do you see that? I don't. I don't see it. But like from far away, you don't know me. Like, you know, like if you're someone at the party, you don't know me. If you're seeing from behind, you're out of my turnover, like, oh, so sorry, I thought you were out of him. Maybe. People got us confused during the weekend, which is hilarious. This guy is fucking hilarious.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe. I mean, I don't see it.

SPEAKER_02

Good.

SPEAKER_04

I don't see it.

SPEAKER_02

And then Sunday, the next day, we had a beach party. Um. And from there, we had uh they flew out Alex Argo.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, shout out to Alexito.

CO2 Cannons, Party Energy, And Afterparty

SPEAKER_02

And they saw because they saw him perform. One of his siblings were in a room for flip-flop. And then that flip like from last year. And then he was playing at the Bacardi stage, not the main stuff, but on the side. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it wasn't full, but they were having because that they liked that kind of music. And they took a picture, sent it to the brothers, like, I don't know who the fuck this guy is, but you need to get in for the wedding. So they they flew him out for yesterday's beach party. Party ended, nobody wanted to go home. So I was making phone calls, trying to get speakers and DJ booths. We set up a whole setup inside of Adam's Airbnb at Theater Le Sol. Oh God. And then they went to like, I don't even know. I left at 11:30. I was like, I am out of here. Like, you guys are fucking wild. Madness. But uh that was kind of like my weekend, like, all in all. I can't let me see this video. That's just in the house. I'll explain. This is a crazy. I had to get 16 boxes of pizza. Yeah. These guys were having a fucking great, great time. I mean, that is the point. Yeah. I mean, if you come all the way to Aruba not to have a good time, you can't. 200 people, your friends, people in from Poland, Chicago, mostly from Chicago, but uh, awesome wedding. Awesome, awesome, awesome wedding. That was my whole weekend, to be honest. It was just a good one.

SPEAKER_04

Congratulations, y'all.

SPEAKER_02

Congrats, guys. So is your weekend?

SPEAKER_04

My weekend was very chill. Complete opposite of mine. Got it. Mine was very chill. Um, I went to Casa Sol.

SPEAKER_02

Ian Sar. I got an invitation. I forgot to text you and say that I can make it because I had the I had the wedding.

SPEAKER_04

Well, you shouldn't uh RSP'd sorry.

SPEAKER_02

I'm apologizing now. He's probably not watching. If somebody knows Ian, text it.

SPEAKER_04

Um Isabella watches. Bella watches. Send it. But um, yeah, no, it was nice. I liked it. They they so they got rid of all the furniture, the regular furniture of Pelican.

SPEAKER_02

So wait, wait, so Pelicans completely like rewinds.

SPEAKER_04

They just like changed all the furniture. So they had like it was like very loungy. So you had like a dance floor in the center here. You had like tables if you want to like dine or you know, chill with your like high cocktail tables with like chairs on this side, and then on this side by the pier, you had like little mini lounges. So like three, I don't know if they were VIP lounges or what? Oh, so low lower chair, like yeah, like you could just sit and it's like a lounge, so you and your your friends could just like stay sit sit around.

SPEAKER_02

So if I'm sitting over here, the ocean's right behind me. Correcto. Oh, okay. I understand.

SPEAKER_04

I see the I see the and then the DJ is like at the beginning of the booth where the DJs don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Usually art for the for his parties. Correcto. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

So it was that was the setup, and it was just very much like, hey, yo, it was just fight only, everybody chill, basila, you know, dance.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, saw you on Shekinah story.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I was like, come on.

SPEAKER_02

What did you write? Like, go out by myself, have fun with myself. That's me, baby.

SPEAKER_04

I pulled up, I was like, okay, what's what's good in the Sri Lanka?

SPEAKER_02

Sri Lanka.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like let's have a time. And I was like, okay, guys, I gotta go because I had to go to um Katie Bang's party. They had they had the village takeover.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, oh yeah, okay, it was Saturday. Saturday, yeah. For some reason, for some reason I thought it was Sunday.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know why, but like this angle that I'm getting from you, it's giving very much slim shady. Please stand up. Like it is really giving MM right now. I don't know what it is. You know, the green or what? I don't know. That's his color. That's his color scheme. I have a question. Talk to me. Sorry, a little off-top. No, you guys.

SPEAKER_02

Girls, women, comment down below during this part of the conversation. What is up with women that when guys wear their hats backwards, for some reason they're like, like a guy with a backwards hat. I don't understand it. Give me the equivalent of like, I can't think of an equivalent of uh of a girl doing something that a guy goes like, ooh, jode. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

Um I'm asking you because you know you're gay and maybe your girlfriend's is the equivalent to a girl wearing like a really good pair of jeans. Like a a nice, good fitting pair of jeans. Don't do that. Don't you know you would like be like, okay. For a story, yeah, it's got a big ass, but like that's what we're talking about. Yeah, but this is a nice fitting type of jeans. It's not all guys that wear their hat backwards automatically, it's like vaginas wet. It's not that. Calm the fuck down. Like, it's just certain things where it's like, okay. Okay, see what she did. I see what you did there. But it's not like you go crazy, like, oh my god, we're gonna die. Nah, calm the fuck down.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. I'm trying to think about what's something like I don't know Petite, are you listening?

SPEAKER_04

He's in his headphones.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was just gonna try to get his opinion. I'm trying to find what's the for a man, maybe a girl not wearing a bra and then walking like with the only with a shirt on. Maybe that's an equivalent. I don't know.

Solo Nights Out And Local Parties

SPEAKER_04

I don't think it's I don't think it's that hard. Because that's hot. Like pierced nipples. Even for the for the gays. Like, we love to see a girl with no quirky breasts. Yeah. And you know, like, they up there with no t-shirt. She just, she just, she just walking around like, okay, Betty, let's go Rihanna thing to do. It's like do your big one. So I was just curious.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, I'm like, what what's with the you know?

SPEAKER_04

No, it's it's like different things. It's like a bearded guy, like maybe if I had hair like slick back here. Can you imagine me with hair? We remember you with hair, Sam. Yeah, we don't want that. It was a struggle. It was a fucking mess. Thank God you let that go because that was a mess. Yeah, you were holding on to dear life with a strength. Strength, don't let it go. Oh my god. Your hair was begging to be like, Sam, let me go.

SPEAKER_02

I have I had thin hair and I didn't have a lot of hair. That was my thought. I had like, it's either you had one or the other. You know, either you have thin hair or you have good hair, but not so much. I had two of the worst parts combined. It was bad.

SPEAKER_03

You had like four strands of hair just going.

SPEAKER_02

No, not four strands. What the fuck? That's that's an exaggeration. All I know is I started getting like a little receipted hairline for someone. I think it's because of uh all those bandana I was wearing at Senior Frogs for years with gel. Listen, destroyed my follicles.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think it's that. Like you just you were meant to be bald.

SPEAKER_02

I'm telling you, that thank God I was my head is in a is a great shape. Otherwise, I could have like a fucking egg.

SPEAKER_04

Because you were meant to be bald. You were really meant to be bald. That hair was not it. Damn. It really wasn't.

SPEAKER_02

I think at one point like I had it, but then it just started dying out early. I can show you one picture, you're like, okay, I can't see it. We'll take me a while to find it. Wow. Yeah, you see, like that's how far back I gotta go.

SPEAKER_04

Like, you see, like, you gotta do work for that. Like, oh it's not like oh throwback together.

SPEAKER_02

If all the ladies are out watching, what kind of hairstyles do you like? Bald men, or you guys guys with short hair. I'm trying to get the conversation going. Like, I we want to know.

Backwards Hats, Attraction, And Hairlines

SPEAKER_04

I think it's it it it really is different things for everybody, but yeah, drop a comment. Let us know what you think. Like, what's what's your turn on thing? There's a little segment on the side. So let's go back to your weekend.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sorry. I forgot. It was relaxing. You meant to um it was Kaddie Bang's party?

SPEAKER_04

I did not get to go. I really say I was. No, so I was trying to leave like Casa Sol so I can be like, hey, yo, I have to because I have to come, I have to go home to come back down here to go to this party. Yeah. Wait, what? No, because like that one was like a day party. I know. Kelly Bang is like a night party. Like, at the time.

SPEAKER_02

Why didn't you just stay downtown?

SPEAKER_04

What is wrong? Like, to do what? Like, okay, what do I stay downtown to do? What like what do you want me to do?

SPEAKER_02

These are the moments where you were like, man, if if my house was done, you would have been like, it was Sam. Yeah, there's a room in the back there.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, the shower like I have to do. I have friends that I can shower with. What am I doing? Like, to me, that's like time wasted. Like, what am I like sitting at your house doing what?

SPEAKER_02

Like, your fucking laptop in work. Uh, give you a little especial. I think go home. I ain't got time for this. Nah, you're probably gonna go meet someone and come back now.

SPEAKER_04

Look at how you're smiling. It's really not that. No, it's really not that. You're dumb. Like, you watching, I know who you are. You're giving me Tyler vibes right now. Like, y'all so stupid. Y'all hang too much.

SPEAKER_02

Like, no, it's that burger we just had. No, you're ridiculous. And there's monster energy. Ridiculous. Damn. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Fuck relax. Anyways, um, okay, so this week, real quick, real quick, right? I did my segment to the side so we do what this weekend. I actually found out this well, this weekend, like this weekend, this weekend. I found out I have PTSD. Or I like. Who's the guy? No, oh no, it's not about a guy. So it's with my car. Huh? Yes. So I've been having like some horrible dreams, right? And I had like this one specific horrible dream. Oh shit. Sam, it's been crazy. Need to clip this. No, no. Okay. So for some reason, like the breaking happened last year in the car, right? I was like, okay, whatever. And but last year, recently. Recent last year, but it's whatever. It happened last year. So I was like, oh, whatever.

SPEAKER_02

I have a Zambert saw. Like, basically.

SPEAKER_04

I'm like, like last year, I'm thinking like what February? Like what we went to. No. I mean a few months ago last year, but it's still last year. Anyways, so doing that whole thing, I was having like this dream of like I feel like I was gonna get raped, right? Hold the fuck. No, Sam, it's like dead serious right now. So I'm like, I remember sleeping in. I was like, okay, like turning the ACM. I'm sit, I'm like minding my business, and I'm remembering, I feel like I was in the parking lot by you know where Cock Optica is in downtown? Yeah. Okay. There's that parking lot there, right? Yeah. For some reason. Across from me. Proyecto. The empty lot next to the censo. So for some reason, I'm like in that parking lot. This is the dream. I'm in that parking lot, and I'm I I'm with somebody in the car. I feel like it was my cousin. So he's next to me. We're in the car. Yeah. Yeah. So we're just chilling, whatever. And for some reason, two guys come up from both sides and they have like baklava's on. So they just I could just see their eyes. And it's called baklava.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um, whatever. You mean ski mask? Yeah, those things. Baklava is a is a dessert from Turkey. Like baklava. Oh shit. See, I'm like, what? Maybe you're right too. Maybe it's another like egg.

SPEAKER_04

I yeah, it's whatever. Anyways, but yeah, tell me about the story. So the the the for some reason the dream like fast forwards, and then I just see like the guy on top of me. So one of the guys is on top of me, and he's like right here. So I can see on this side it's my cousin's face, and then on this side is the other guy. You know what's the worst part? I don't want to be imagining this. Like, no, but okay, but it didn't happen. It didn't happen. It's just, I'm just explaining you like what how the dream was. So I'm just like sitting there and I just feel like like somebody sitting on my chest here. Like he's like just sitting on me. Like just sitting. Sitting on me, and I feel like he's like wanted to do something, but by the time like it gets to that part, I wake up.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm like, what the fuck is going on? Like, has this happened multiple times?

SPEAKER_04

I've had like weird dreams, but like this one was the one that I was like, I felt real. Nah, this was like a baby.

SPEAKER_02

That's some reception shit.

PTSD From Car Break-In And Letting Go

SPEAKER_04

This is like something not right. So I like a few days before that, I was telling my cousin, like, hey, you know what? I've not been feeling so well. So I feel like I have to sage my like like you know, like cleansing myself. Because I don't know, like you believe in that stuff? I do, I do, but anyway, so I go, I do my whole sage and whatever. So I'm talking to my friend now, okay. So and my friend is like, um, okay, maybe it's not like something somebody's doing something bad, or something bad is happening to you, but it could just be that maybe you're like going back into like a trauma. It's like, and I've been I've been reading about this, okay? And it could be like there's saying like it could be a trauma that you're that you're feeling. So the the feeling of the downtown thing, it happened in downtown, is where they broke in my car. So maybe that's why it took me there. And the I remember when I was when I was um, I remember after it happened, I was sitting in a car and I was like, oh my god, you know what? I'm not mad, I'm not none of these things. The only thing I feel is like violated because you don't know who was in your car, you don't know where they were, you don't know what they touched. And so I just remember driving to the police station.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, fuck, like in your dream.

SPEAKER_04

No, this is real. This is like the the the night of the accident, the the when they broke in. Yeah, I remember driving to the police station, and I remember just feeling like disgusted, just sitting in the car, is like, because you really don't like papers are all over the place.

SPEAKER_02

I've been there, I know.

SPEAKER_04

So I'm like, oh, like I don't even want to she was like, maybe the trauma is coming from that.

SPEAKER_02

The car because you're sitting in the car.

SPEAKER_04

It is that is the car is tied to this, like this trauma from that night. And when she said that, Sam, I just started bursting out crying. I was like, oh my god, it's probably that. Time to let it go. I was I that's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_02

Time to let the car go.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, you gotta go, baby. I'm sorry. You gotta go.

SPEAKER_02

You're hearing it first. Shark's car's up for grabs. Shut the fuck up. Special price, 15,000 florins. Shut the fuck up. No, but it's only it's it's worth because Shark drove it. You know, it's kind of like adding, it's like I'm driving up to those cars. Yeah, belly goes up.

SPEAKER_04

It doesn't go down, it doesn't go down over here. No, and you know what? Once she said that, I st it start, it reminded me of I really feel every time I go up to my car, I always get this feeling of that instant moment of when I had the realization of when I saw the glass broken. I was like, Heart drops, like that's that happens every single time I walk up to the car, and even now because I fixed the window, it's still clear because my all of my glasses are tin, except for that one. So it still gets that not that fear, but that feeling.

SPEAKER_02

Like it your heart just sinks into your stomach. I know what you mean.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my God.

SPEAKER_02

Sam, I was like, nah. So again, can you go to structure? Oh, though.

SPEAKER_04

Shut the fuck up. We need to get you a new car. I need it, yeah. That's goal for 226. A new car, yeah. It's it's a goal. It's that goal.

SPEAKER_02

Same with me, with my car. Well, not not traumatizing.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, no, no, no. I get it.

SPEAKER_02

But um, it's even my my mechanics like, hey, do it, dude. Like okay, buddy. Like, it's time, it's time for an umgrave uh it's like you're driving a coffin on wheels. So gotta let it go.

SPEAKER_04

Damn, I love my car though.

SPEAKER_02

But uh, I get it, but trust me, you're gonna love the next one even more because you work hard towards it.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, it is what it is. Like, I I know for a fact, like this was I always said, like, hey, you know what?

SPEAKER_02

Between last year and this year, it's like I'm telling you, like, I'm telling you, because I I I've been through this recently with my with a new car. Yeah, it's like I didn't want to sell my old car and buy a new because you know, I'm building my house, and I didn't want to use that money to buy the car. But then talking to Tori, this was when the election um time, and I'm like, we worked really fucking hard, and we had some good money saved, and Tori was like, You deserve a new car. Like, your mechanic already told you you that got to go, and you worked already hard.

SPEAKER_04

It's true, it's true.

SPEAKER_02

And you in because sometimes we do look um filming on locations, like it's not maybe not us, but like other clients that I have for podcasting. Guys, if you ever want to start a podcast, I produce podcasts for other people, so like a song, and um when I got the new car, when I was driving, it I don't know, it's motivating. Like you just drive, like fuck, I I work hard, I got this. Yeah, so I think you can have the same feeling. Like, I know it's an emotional attachment. I'm sure you have a lot of memories in that car for sure. Same with mine, for sure. Whoever's driving us out, like, this is your Samuel's car, bro. Values, but um you you're it's gonna feel awesome. Like, I think you should really focus on working towards that goal.

SPEAKER_04

No, I am, I am, I am.

SPEAKER_02

So I go fund me, guys, by the Nate Wogi.

SPEAKER_04

No, I'm actually working with my coach on that right now. That's what we're busy with right now. So that's like the next phase of my vision board. So it's going really good though. But I just that realization I got this weekend. I was like, that's that is wild though. It's crazy, it's really crazy. I was like, damn, I didn't know like I'm a bad bitch could suffer stuff like this. Like, I was shocked.

SPEAKER_02

Damn. I was shocked. I didn't, I didn't, I didn't know that uh I mean, maybe, because like talking about whole traumatization, not everything has to be towards a person, you know, it could be over something physical. Like, for example, you had an abusive boyfriend that bought you this bottle of water that you kept. I don't know for what reason, but maybe think of a vase, like every time you see, like, oh fuck that guy or fuck that girl. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

Listen.

SPEAKER_02

So now you have a bit of your car, either you're gonna sell or you're gonna burn it. Oh my god, oh gone with the burned the bad juju, you know?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, not burned, though. That's crazy, that's wild. But no, and I'm reading about this in a book that I'm reading right now, and it's talking about legit about You forgot. I don't know, because I'm still reading the book, so I'm like really into it right now. But it talks about like how your brain collects bad clusters and it just keeps it. Like, even when something traumatic happens to you, it saves it in your subconscious. So if it it because some of our brains save, like one part saves colors, once save shapes, once they so if you got an accident with a black car and there was like somebody in red standing around it, it just remembers those things. So when you see the color red, like it just can easily just bring that out from your subconscious.

SPEAKER_02

Speaking of that, do you ever have memories of a kid that you remember vividly?

SPEAKER_04

It's crazy, like legit, legit. I'm like, I know this school kid. Why I have never seen this person ever in life again.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there's just certain moments, like this might even be crazy because when I remember vividly, speaking of dreams. Yeah. When I was a kid, like I don't know, like 10, 12, somewhere in that area. I remember I was having the same dream a lot throughout that same year. I can't I can even remember because I remember what? It was an alien abduction, like no joke. Like every time I would, it's like a same routine. I wake up out of bed, people scream. I started fucking running, people getting just pulled up. I was bro. And I remember like every single time I had the same fucking dream, and every time I got pulled up, I woke up every time. I've had this multiple fucking times as a kid.

Goals, New Car Motivation, And Work

SPEAKER_04

Oh shit, and never as an adult again? Or like never like as an adult?

SPEAKER_02

No, but like I can I can remember like I can remember a dream that can actually actually imagine it happened. Conspiracy theories. Like, listen. Where's our foil hats? This stupid ass did this. Um, anyways, speaking of conspiracy theories, oh yeah. We don't want to go that route.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, oh my god, don't do that.

SPEAKER_02

We're not doing that. Uh, we guys, we didn't even like we had like a few things. We can see your screen by the way. So if you have pulled any weird shit, you're so stupid. Um yeah, we had a few guys, we we like seeing the comments. We said before, guys. Comment down below. We read it and we put it in our little list of topics, of things to talk about, things to bring up. So, man, don't be shy, leave a damn comment. All right.

SPEAKER_04

So the first one, I took some notes. So we're gonna just go through everything, just let to let y'all know, but we're not gonna like really go into the topic right now. Yeah, just letting y'all know like so far, these are some of the topics that you're gonna see us discussing through throughout. Maybe we'll dive a little bit into some of them.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, for sure. Nothing too detailed because some some of them like kind of need a uh a guest to go even deeper because yes, this is an opinion-based show, and we're not always factual. We say our opinion, and sometimes you're just fucking wrong. That counts for you too, is why yeah. You saw we say, I don't commit to that.

SPEAKER_04

Clock that tea. Okay, so the first one we have was mass tourism. Yeah, we've all seen Nigel's videos for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out to Nigel. He's definitely um, I think I'm sure we've spoken about this in the past to bring him on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is doing definitely one of the things. This is what's doing the whole Tortuga thing or whatever. He was what was he doing? He was he was protesting something.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, land back and um no more hotels.

SPEAKER_02

That one, that's the one that went viral, and now he's going around making videos about all the tourists' um like Arashi video.

SPEAKER_04

He just does deep research and he brings up topics that nobody really discusses that is actually happening. So I've always been a fan of Nigel from the moment he hit the scene and I got to know him. I didn't, I interviewed him on the radio.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So like the kid's brain is just He thinks different, he's just so fucking intelligent, and people are like, I guess on the island, we're just not used to a pushback like him advocating the way he does. Like, if I had to, like, honestly, in my opinion, if I saw like last year, the ending of the year, everybody was talking about like um influencer of the year and yada yada yada. This is no shade. Who was influenced? Oh, different people release different influencers. And I personally feel like if we're talking about influencers of the year, I would have to give it to Nigel. Because I feel like he his influence, whether you liked it or not, it made major conversation, it made ministers and all of these people start force them to have a conversation that they were not ready to have or willing to have a few years ago already.

SPEAKER_03

So he he he brings it forward, like he really does this.

Listener Topics Queue And Show Format

SPEAKER_02

No, no, he's one person, but he's fucking loud.

SPEAKER_03

He's loud.

SPEAKER_02

So like he knows how to like uh promote the situation. And he's yeah, you know how I think sometimes, like when we when we put a when we put a situ when I when we put something in front of me, it's good to think about the positive. But I my first thought is like, okay, what what are three negative things about this and how I'm gonna tackle that? So like maybe I shouldn't say negative, obstacles. What are three obstacles? Or I always and then when I see something, I'm like, I keep up an idea. But then in Nigel's video, the Arasha video was fucking busy. But then you also see all the poem tourist buses in the back, so it's probably a cursor day. So then I think he's gonna be even extra busy, but he still goes and shows multiple days.

SPEAKER_04

He doesn't go like one day to be like, I'll keep undia so I am to see.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm the company.

SPEAKER_04

He goes on multiple days to show, like, listen, it's not like y'all exactly for nobody could say, like, oh, you just went on a busy day on purpose.

SPEAKER_02

But then then upload more videos then. He does. No, no, no. I mean like of the same location. He does. Oh, I don't know. I only saw one. I saw two actually.

SPEAKER_04

No, he's been on like a series of going to like these different locations. Like, no, we're definitely gonna bring him on. No, for sure, for sure, hands down. Even though I want to bring him on for like two things, I want to bring him on just like like on an interview itself, just so we like we can go into his background so people can actually understand. He's studied where he's lived before, all these type of things. It's gonna be one long episode and we just chop it up in two parts. We've done this before. Kind of, kind of, kind of, because I feel like the masterism deserves its own episode, like that on its own, like how he does his research and all that good stuff. Like, I would like to know that on its like separate bit of.

Mass Tourism And Nigel’s Advocacy

SPEAKER_02

Well, well, how we'll do it is that we'll film it. I guess thanks for the episode next week when we're talking about masterism. Uh we'll see you next week. And then see you next week. Stop. All right, so come back with masterism. That's how we do it.

SPEAKER_04

It's next week. God damn. So, Nigel, be ready. Like I said, all right. So, somebody also commented local housing crisis. So this is something we all fucking know. Yeah, but I mean it's it's true. Like still conversations to have. And a lot of everybody's catering to tourists, nobody's caring to locals because but what I'm also realizing, Sam, is there are a lot of students that are really, really now like they're really ready to come back and they are they are coming back.

SPEAKER_02

But there's no fucking house to buy, and land's almost gone. And now the ink screen arrubas, or do I mean by scraveno? By the time your turn comes up, there is no land. You're fucked. That's right. The government is now focusing on the vertical housing, like the one extra Leeing Sons, the one they're building Caribbean townhouses.

SPEAKER_04

Is over. Okay, Ling and Sons is they're building something?

SPEAKER_02

Somewhere across like you see like the confood. No, no, no. I don't know. You know, you know, you have to go pay attention. You know where when these office is? Yeah. Behind it, they're building like okay.

SPEAKER_04

I didn't, I don't know. Somewhere, yeah, you'll see it. Oh, that's Caribbean town?

SPEAKER_02

That's Caribbean town.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, that was the Pushiti one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So now they're building um next to their free zone area, they're building condos, and I don't know what the prices are. I'm hoping they're the idea was to cater to locals and it's all going up, as in the housing goes up.

SPEAKER_04

Kind of like how in the States in Holland and all these places, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Correct.

SPEAKER_04

So I don't know what to tell you. Okay, but then like I I guess this is why people want us to have the conversation is to like kind of like poke to like, okay, how far is the government gonna go with this? Like, are they are there gonna be regulations to make sure that locals can buy the house? Is there gonna be regulations for the locals as well to be like, hey, if you're buying this house, you're not gonna buy it so you can rent it like in dollar signs and Airbnb it because I feel like it's it's so far gone that going back is gonna be so fucking like you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

Like, let's say stop it, bitch fucking lot. Like it casket is supposed to quote or the quad 10 mil dollar, because it's a quad 10 mil dollar. So keep what are you gonna tell? What are you yeah, like you know what you should do? Hire a bunch of appraisal and then go around appraising all the houses. And when they, for example, I'm selling my house for um yung dollar, separate appraised value to beside me 5 mil. So how the fuck are you charging me 5 mil extra? Like for what? You know? I don't know. It's it's it's conversation. See? Definitely they're a real estate agent.

SPEAKER_04

This is why this is why I guess why we're supposed to have the conversations so then people could comment be like, oh no, bring this person on next time, or bring like do it with this person.

SPEAKER_01

So Mes, like I know sa, with a comment commenting is everything for us. So comment number, over the cookie. Somebody that's not politically tied, please. Because it's gonna be all political. No, I mean, yeah, anybody got time for that.

SPEAKER_04

Suck my dick.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, well, before you continue to the next topic, something very important we forgot to announce. Guys, we're at the radio officially. Supposed to announce at the beginning of the episode. Yeah, it's it's just we put the camera there. We're still figuring it out how you can have two cameras on one screen, but uh we're gonna get there.

SPEAKER_04

You have to go live a few more times.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we have to go live two more times, and we have to go live for an hour uh for 30 minutes. So once we have we made six cents, bro. That's good. I didn't even know that was a thing. So we're live every every Saturday, 10 to 12. We go live on TikTok. There's on TikTok, you will find a different kind of vibe. unknown

to 12 p.m.

SPEAKER_02

A lot of giveaways.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We got we got good shit for y'all.

SPEAKER_02

Back to the topic.

SPEAKER_04

All right, so another one that we got on here is foreign housing, foreign housing regulations.

Housing Crisis And Vertical Builds

SPEAKER_02

So people that come in Aruba and buy properties and we've talked about this in the past already, even with the politicians. I I mean other kind of like ballasting panang, like give them like see if they cobra Rubiano, like Balasting Ribbons Airbnb, 5% Ribbon Rubiano, but they cover up just 5% Riba un medicano. Anybody international.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So that it makes the person who's buying it painza, I'm not gonna pay 15%.

SPEAKER_04

Perfect. Autmar talked about this. We talked about this with Otmar remember he was like look, there's like a lot of money.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Just like sitting on the money. Because nobody's checking nobody's checking. All the the biggest problem with Airbnb with people from abroad is that they buy it, they get paid and the money stays abroad. What taxes are they collecting in Aruba? Imagine, imagine you guys know I'd like this button Donald Trump who Doge was you know Doge, the whole Elon Musk thing? No. Elon Musk did started this little thing called Doge where they went in and looked at everybody's financials and be like that's too much. That's waste of spending that's waste of spending why are you spending five whatever million on something in South Africa?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You know like what has nothing to do with us. So like shit like and and so basically an audit. Um so we kind of I think we kind of need that but straighten things out in terms of I feel like that's that's kind of what that ex kind of doing. I don't fucking know man. Like I don't I don't know it's but we somebody like that's harsh like him and imagine if the government actually did the fucking job of the Airbnb part whoever's in charge of that tax people properly go after them accordingly and collecting all those taxes but we're not voting for like the ballsy people.

SPEAKER_04

That's the problem. We're voting for the same things.

SPEAKER_02

Because the same fucking people who have the balls are too scared to go in because about the fucking Aruba Turgo Biara like Kabukun Bida. No as I not like that. You know what I mean like exploit Turcos. Nobody wants that. Even Aveline said on the show that some of the people that were part of MEP left because either they lost their job because of the political ties or they they can't find any jobs because of their political ties.

SPEAKER_04

So not that everybody leaves Yeah but if you're gonna go on the list and be another yes man then what do you expect to happen? Like you can't expect change if you're gonna do the same thing and you're just gonna say like everything that they say okay yes all the same bullshit fucking bus can like that's what irritates me.

SPEAKER_02

But what the Go Bier sorry I'm like it's a little annoying. Like Bambisa those um like Carlos Gaiman what is his position again?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah they make the they can they they write the law and they they do on underzook and all that stuff find out whatever they're making add 50% on top of it and then open like 10 positions for anybody in Holland beam back Aruba move the mental Aruba he would take a fucking largo because they already do this with doctors.

SPEAKER_02

When there's doctors um I might be full um but I made a full food um correct I know when they bring somebody specialized on the states or from anybody else in the from the world and you're specializing something that Aruba doesn't have they help you move to Aruba they pay for your shit for like a year maybe more like your housing like and you have a great salary. So like you're fucking living. So why not do that for people in that position of the government get the fucking laws working faster. Just literally like this room should have 20 fucking desks with people like fucking writing laws you know it that it's annoying.

SPEAKER_04

So it's true like I mean we're very delayed but at the same I mean they know what the problem is then fix it. The money is getting used for bullshit anyway so I feel like some of y'all can like skip out on a driver. They have drivers I mean I thought they got rid of it. They got a lot of shit that they're they're spending money on. So all right it is what it is. Yeah anyway so that was I went on a rant I'm sorry um okay so somebody also had here the importance of conserve uh conservate conservative are you okay or nature sorry yeah I'm trying to move a little bit um visitor residence respect aruba sewage system aruba's road aruba resident respect what does that mean um so basically like the the tourists that come to Aruba between residents and and tourist okay so how do how do we make sure that it's equally respected you want to talk about this week have you ever heard of well I mean we've all we've all heard it before it's on social media Hell Week have you heard of it?

Foreign Buyers, Airbnbs, And Taxes

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah Nigel I mean I've known about this no I've known I worked in hotels anybody in the service industry knows about Hell Week so if you don't know about Hell Week just Google Hell Week Aruba maybe you'll find it I don't know but uh we used to call them friends of New York Friends of New York yeah that was their names oh we call it Hell Week it was if you work in the service industry just comment down below see but you pass out now you you know exactly what it is hey i i lived it since my senior frogs days to my goose to days it's every single year like second third week of January is the same shit everybody straps on and you can't say anything because you're spending a lot of money and mind you you have you didn't even have like the little kids as well because we had to deal with the little kids as well I just saw them yesterday at the beach at the beach party that was no that's what I'm saying I mean like the senior frogs like stuff like that you don't have to at least you have to eight the stuck up 18 year old kids that are mommy and daddy. Can you imagine a little kid telling you give me a fucking room key now my dad pays your salary no fucking way Sam like you're just standing at the front us like who the like not not as Caribbean people like who the fuck you think you're talking to smack him drown him kidding like I was ready to beat somebody I should have made a video yesterday I was walking from the because the the party the beach rider was at the Ritz but you know on the side where they do all the the DMC events the weddings it's on on the on this left side and then like the right side is where all the beach chairs are correct I was going to the bathroom at the bar I it's it's kind of like you just you're walking you get hit by a shock surprise of how many kids like I there was an adult in sight maybe like 10 and 70 like little rascals between eight and 17 noisy and iPhones. Where they just put a made at the bar what's that bar called the one on the by the by the pool bar?

SPEAKER_04

Madeiro bottles on the table I'm I thought that's it I thought it was I thought that was a rule like you can't be doing that stuff because you know you see even even the writs makes exceptions for these people when these people arrive they like these people like sorry them I mean it is what it is I don't give a fuck like but when they arrive it's they take over they really take over even though I'm not gonna lie um when I my last few years working in the hotel it did change I don't know what happened I think because they got banned like two years before that yeah they got banned from like most places oh wow because they just they they rent out places like yeah no they buy out if they go to buy if they go to if they go to Asia they'll do a they forget it if they'll take the whole restaurant they should take half of the restaurant that's how they roll anyways continue they they they're like that so um then they got like somebody they used to come with like like to I guess to like discipline them I don't know how this works yeah and this guy used to really handle shit I don't know how I want to make jokes so bad right now but no this guy used to really handle that don't do that yes do not do that so this guy used to really handle shit and do you know what that yeah they they came they started coming back to the hotels very much more chill like the so even like the 18 year olds they used to be fucking wild yeah they even had like more respect like hey good afternoon can I have and that's it was like okay so my last few years was not bad in the hotel at all with them because they really changed but I don't know how it is now again or like give me the title of this podcast Hell Week question for your podcast what was worse Hell Week or or the people are waiting the question is what was worse?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah or Petit Soul Beach Soul Beach versus Hell Week okay so one was I I want to okay go yeah go ahead go ahead go ahead it's it's it's so Petit's asking what's worse Hell Week or Soul Beach it's different because yeah Soul Beach is chaotic but everybody's vibing and having a good time yeah and then some are disrespectful but majority are just yo I'm here with my best friends on the beach we're fucking doing the wobble and the keep it shuffle and even I'm like yo what's up like I'm part of it you will never catch me being friends with anybody in fucking Hell Week it's never never ever some of the maybe there are some good ones no they are that's what I'm saying they change they they but for the most part man Hell Week by fucking far no wouldn't it's a no it's a massive no for me.

Live Radio Schedule And TikTok Lives

SPEAKER_04

Yeah no no no the thing is with Soul Beach like like you said I feel like people may call them cheap yeah but they're really here to have a good time they're like they're that I'm gonna spend my money on my vibes are good. I'm gonna spend my money on what like brings that's just how they're gonna do it's like for me to have a good time. So this is the budget that I came with for so I'm gonna have a good time. So I know like certain industries like they don't like it'll maybe you won't get 20% tip but you got 10% maybe 5% but it's a good fucking time like these people are really happy versus they didn't degrade you. The other ones are like listen I'm here's a hundred dollars here$200 but now you're my bitch like they own you when they they tip nice but once you accept that that dollar book oh you're you belongs to them and they're gonna no but I told Alison where is where's Alison wait no but hey Alison you didn't hook me away like I remember I get no you don't that that 200 was a tip you gave that to me that wasn't for me to cover cocktails for you and cover food for you and if not then here's your money back and then like just just pay because we're not about to do this like I owe you the world now for$200. Absolutely not you can keep that shit I wonder how many people can relate to this a lot I know I know but how many can actually comment guys like I want to know how many of you because a lot everybody we're every single person has worked in the the the tourism industry or like because even the the airport people they have to deal with them and they have to deal with them the worst because at least the hotel they're kind of happy but in the airport they're pissed the fuck off they're either either very agitated because they're traveling from New York or whatever with these fucking children and you know they're like oh my god let's go it's so hot and they're like in these big big coffer jackets because it's winter there so that's where they're running away from and or they're leaving and then they're they hate the customs that oh we have to go through customs twice why do we have to be here so early more about it so I was like oh my god man please just leave like I hope there's not a winter storm that these people have to cancel and come back because that's happened too so mm mm definitely so beach all day every day I agree bring it on thanks for our viewers' question yeah I went live studio audio sometimes I want to like just add a third mic because you never know like if it either mica walks in like hey you have an opinion say something.

SPEAKER_02

No um what else we have on the list because we're gonna close out soon guys.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah yeah the justice system okay so people want to know like it's been a year and we still haven't heard anything about the case of Ada Lanoy.

Service Industry Hell Week Vs Soul Beach

SPEAKER_02

So that was goes back to what I said just now we need to hire more people to write the law because apparently they want to work on it but nothing manpower. Again you know the problem you have the funds surplus use that money hire two more people this year or the first two quarters of the year next two quarters hire two more people like when I say hire them like hire Rubian Yabanda Cost hey make it attractive for them to come back to Aruba.

SPEAKER_04

No you can't do that. Okay maybe not that's too much yeah no no no no no I got a little carried away I'm sorry yeah you really did I'm sorry calm the fuck down I sometimes say something then my brain's like hold up too late it's already out yeah no that's not it um another one that we probably might have to talk to uh I know you're gonna like this one is called the COVID vaccine why would I like this one?

SPEAKER_02

Because you didn't do it no I didn't do it um another one is straight dogs yeah um there was who's some who we can bring for straight dogs probably ooh Luna Foundation yeah 100% Zoe's the shit and she's fun yeah yeah she was supposed to come actually during the election time because she was she was part of what's Miguel's action bidyung yeah and she was supposed to come and then she got switched at last minute because her mom got sick and she had to handle that which couldn't understand so if anybody's watching you know Luna Foundation reach out to them let him know we know Zoe Zoe's that girl like we could yeah oh Chrissy as well yeah yeah yeah that's what I was thinking about yeah yeah yeah they do the the the stammies as well okay I think they're both good but I think Zoe should go first so can I see not hear me it only because one she runs a whole foundation two she there there's always there's never enough help you know what I mean like yeah so if we can one shine a light on her foundation and talk to her about situation and then we can bring so we talk about the problem and then we bring and her story and create she has to it's true I like that I like to tie it out nice I fuck with that I fuck with that. Bamo.

SPEAKER_04

Okay so that's for stray dogs um this she actually offered up herself Mrs. Cruz uh she she wanted to talk about suicide so like just like the rate and like look at like pay take things to pay attention to um how to change laws oh how to do all these type of things so yeah so we can be it's it's it's it's good to know like the that great but also the tells you know like how do you know somebody's like thinking certain ways you know like I I've I've spoken about it before in the show when God knows when I I had a friend that was the happiest freaking dude ever and he killed himself nobody saw that coming and then that that then it comes the whole part of like those who are the happiest are always the ones the the ones who are depressed so that's why like we need to tell so you know if if you realize like hey don't be hey but they're actually okay bro like but that's the thing like come to the side but you know they have to be you have to how do you build that trust where this person can tell you how he actually really feels well I feel like that's what where we we lack so much is community like we don't have that anymore like everybody's so uptight and busy.

SPEAKER_02

We talked with we talked it with Mike yeah Mike he said the same thing like back then temporary pasco caspa cascoa everybody thinks for himself and that's a problem.

SPEAKER_04

It really is so I mean like what is it to sit down with your friend and be like okay how are you really doing but nobody has the time because everybody's just always busy doing some other thing and be like oh Mike I'm late for this meeting or I'm go look for this and like even that person going through all them busy busy schedules like yo take a breather how are you doing calm down like sit sit for a moment like how are you for real? You know so I feel like if we have more of those genuine conversations with each other yeah I feel like that's a way to like prevent those things for sure. So that's definitely a conversation okay we should have and she listens to the radio all the time so shout out to her.

SPEAKER_02

Listen to you we just started like two days ago yeah I'm talking about show I'm sorry. It's okay yeah obviously on that on Saturday everybody loved you more than me but that's okay. It's temporarily don't do that.

SPEAKER_04

They just know the voice it's not my fault. All right what's the okay so another one is how do we change laws um and then the last one is Adicton ambulante and stichting junto they said invite Randel van Tricht.

SPEAKER_02

Okay we definitely can talk about the the the Abulante thing is always we've had we've talked about everybody from politics it's always the same story nobody does nothing. I'm telling you these car breaking you say they just broke into TDX car now like what the fuck man they took his laptop and everything I hope he I hope he found it I hope so no i i i I shared it on Facebook same it's let me look it up I really fucking hope he did it I hope he does like mentally well though he like just thinking like what I was just saying about like with me with the car breaking like I hope he doesn't have to go through that as well because like damn hey shout out to everybody like 16 hours ago he posted it 592 shares I was uh like you said earlier we need people with balls who are just listen you're gonna do it you might think it's like that's very inhumane you can't just drag him off the street I will look him in the eye and say like keep going your Abahasi besides bitch my Facebook and wrap it up no because shut the fuck up sit on the sidelines let me do my job let me clean the streets first of all suppose if I'm um if they go to uh that institution uh pariba uh the the rehab yeah if they go there then basic sound like going to the high though so you're you're you're basically promoting it's just like California like oh no no if we go to the homeless shelter we lose like money or we lose whatever fucking grab them throw them in a dog catcher okay lock like no not like fucking lock them up in a very positive way uh yeah I'm sorry like go live to go by it's true but they go on a matun tourista oh tourist got stabbed yeah yeah when once it becomes with the tourist then something's gonna happen now let's do something once it affects the locals I don't think they give a fuck like that let them let them rob Shark let them rob Tiedrik let them break into Mauru's um place downtown where he does his podcast and shit let that happen not looking guys like is like super high and then stabs a tourist to death who are we gonna blame the government for the past like 10 years and didn't do shit about it.

SPEAKER_04

So I'm not I don't I don't want it to happen but the direction that downtown is going like all the the they're gonna start making people live in downtown they have to clean up I feel like it might if they don't something like what you're saying might actually happen for real for it with a student or with a force a rehab build a fucking cage near rehab a four put him in a room and just let it detox and another system.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know and maybe if you if you got guys if what the inhumane whatever I don't I don't care. But so but somebody's gonna get mad in the comments like that's that's not the right thing to do. Then what are you doing?

SPEAKER_04

Except trying to be a kid like or or or comment what is the solution like Like, how do we fix this? Because how many more people have to go through these same type of bullshit? And like, it's not like people don't work hard for their shit. Like, we're already trying to survive as is. Like, the island is not cheap. And then for somebody to like break into your hard-earned shit and then like just take all your shit, and now you have to go pay and fix all these things again and fix the window and and buy the the driver's license again and re buy this again.

Justice Delays And Hiring For Reform

SPEAKER_02

And buy I I do want to add, maybe not every robbery is kind of ambulant. I'm just saying.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no, for sure.

SPEAKER_02

You know, it could be somebody else in the in a in a in a bad situation that needs money because he doesn't have anything else, and it's a heart.

SPEAKER_04

But let's eliminate the that that so that that could be the option. That could be like, ah no, I addicta na ambulante, no te pasan, because they're in the they're in rehab. So it's definitely not them. We can't even try to blame them right now because now it has to be somebody who's just a fucking thief. But now they they're they're they that that can't happen because one you can control.

SPEAKER_02

You can like, maybe make a shelter for them. And if they want to go to the shelter and sleep and whatever, because they want to be in the streets doing drugs, then let's go. Put them in there for a few months, let it detox. Maybe like if you if you grab 20. And out of the 20, maybe it sounds bad how you keep saying grab. Grab them. What do you want to say? Drag them off the street? Like being kidding, bulleting. Guys, sometimes I come off a little bit too harsh. Like, but they'll just spa that, like cooking. If you tell them, like, come in the car, but like, I we're gonna put like like fucking, ooh, piece of candy. Ooh, piece of candy, put mess on the floor, and then the body will fucking dog catch it. Ooh, piece of candy. Boop, all right, let's go. Like, you think it's that easy? Just arrest them and then put them in fucking rehab, force force at these tops.

SPEAKER_04

I'm not mistaken. They are they it falls in human rights for um everything is a fucking like United Nations, United Nations, and we fall under United Nations.

SPEAKER_02

So oh what then declare them a terrorist organization and then like go in. They're they're terrizing. Terrorizing downtown. You are now considered a terrorist, not bombing though. Do you get what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

I know, I know what you mean. I listen, I said the same thing. To me, it just doesn't make sense that you get rewarded for staying homeless because here's money. But if you seek help, how are they if you dare seek help? We will remove that money from you. You can't get based on the more if you seek if you seek to get better. The fact that they're even getting money. Why? You know, why am I even working? Bizami to pay so like they can get money. And you know, like I don't get like this that's irritated. That's taxpaying money. Maybe because it's a little warm today in the studio, but according to like I'm getting that's taxpayers' money. That's what it goes. It goes into stuff like that. It goes into it.

SPEAKER_02

Like, why? Like, there's there's probably there is a law because otherwise you will be paying these guys and girls. But explain to me the logic. Why? How are you even getting the money, by the way? Do they have a bank account?

SPEAKER_04

Uh bank demanding, I don't got I don't know how it works, but I know they they or I think their family collects it for them or something like that.

SPEAKER_02

But I know they're definitely not seeing that money.

SPEAKER_04

They have to they have to go to like the post office and they have to like stand in line like with everybody who collects based on, and then I don't know, I I don't know if they get why are we giving them money for what?

SPEAKER_02

But so they can't help themselves. And that's why we step in and grab them and help them forcefully. But look at the balance, but gentle parenting is what the government is doing with them.

SPEAKER_04

So talking about it. Get on the dog, let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, guys, I don't know, I don't know what to tell you. Everybody likes the uh please manually in there. Yeah, use force, use force in a nice way, bro.

SPEAKER_04

I agree. I'm sorry, like I'm respecting respectfully, I agree with you. Like, I don't know why I was. It just sounds funny now. I can laugh about it now because like it's how you're expressing it. Because it's because I can see you're frustrated with it.

SPEAKER_02

I am because everybody talks the same, no sting go by you and you took kiko.

SPEAKER_04

How exactly are you gonna help them? And why are you not helping us, the ones that are actually paying taxes? Like, how are you not helping us? Like, we're the ones suffering through this. Like, please. Like, the comment that basically the annos annos thing last dinner. I can't you know what the thing is, like I feel bad for people that live around them. Like, because they go terrorizing people's houses.

SPEAKER_02

Like, there's a nice one, the one that used to came. Sorry, used to come to your shop. Remember that guy?

Stray Dogs, Foundations, And Guests

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I love him. He has a house, though. He has a house. Like, he's good. Oh my god. I just fucking judged the guy. Yeah, I thought he was homeless. Fuck. No, no, shout out to the rest of mine. Why are you gonna say his name? People don't know until now. No, it's okay. That's my homie. That's my family. He watches the podcast sometimes.

SPEAKER_02

Definitely getting jumped, bro.

SPEAKER_04

No, he's not like that. He's not like that. He's not like that.

SPEAKER_02

No, but uh, it's I'm sorry, guys. No, I know what you mean. I know what you mean.

SPEAKER_04

Like, even I feel I'm getting burned up over here, but uh even in downtown. Like, what's his name? He's a super cool one that used to sing and used to run. Oh, it's a rap and shit. Like, yeah. I don't know his name. Oh, is that the white guy? Yeah, the white guy with no teeth. Him as well, he's cool. Oh, who you talking about? I'm talking about Busby. Oh, there's a new one? No, he's he's Busby been there.

SPEAKER_02

The only the only homeless person I really knew well was ski. And he's gone. Only because he was really good friends with my dad growing up. And he I remember when we my dad had the the bicycle shop downtown, Theocycle. He would come by and help us build. My dad would pay him, like yo too much ski.

SPEAKER_04

That's why he always had the bike with like shit going on.

SPEAKER_02

Who me?

SPEAKER_04

Ski.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

He would he would He said who me?

SPEAKER_02

Who me?

SPEAKER_04

Nigga, no.

SPEAKER_02

No, he yeah, he would take like spare parts of my party. My dad, he just fucking a little like a build a bitch, you know, build the bike. And he would just bro, he's always has a little fan. Chilling. But he was the only like homeless person I know, like, could they like you're dope. And he he never caused problems for anybody. He was just happy all the time. And then there's those who fucking terrorize. And I I get it. You can't do anything about it. Something can't come back, but then create an environment for them. Maybe in rehab, maybe a bigger rehab, where you just stay in there. Like you don't leave this place. And if you leave, maybe you you know, you little wandel, like you go with somebody guided to control you, so at least you socialize and then you go back in.

SPEAKER_04

But the thing is, I so from like it's it's a it's a difficult conversation. I feel like I guess this is why we probably have to have like maybe a professional in here, like they can like represent for them and like help us understand their perspective. Because like if they really don't want to change, like because like some of them really did like they are they love their life, like they are 100% okay with it.

SPEAKER_02

Like Sharing, either fix it or go to jail for a long time. Like, which one do you want? This just pisses me off, bro.

unknown

We need to cut this part.

SPEAKER_02

We need to cut this part, we're cutting shit.

unknown

This is out.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no. I was gonna call this Hell Week, but it is like I'm gonna change the title now. No, maybe we should end it here. Guys, I'm sorry. But this is something that every single politician, everybody comes in and promises, says they're gonna do this, and nobody's done shit for years. And yes, say, Nakomisa is talking. And they said it's been a lot. You know what? Why don't we investigate it? Where did the money go? I'll fucking go. Hey. I'm sorry, it's it's frustrating for me to hear, like, you know.

SPEAKER_04

It is, it really is.

SPEAKER_02

There's a problem there. You know how to fix it. Fix it. That's okay. Lawmakers, you know what the problem is. Give a good salary, make it attractive for somebody to move back to Aruba. A lot of people want to move back to Aruba, give them a nice salary.

Street Crime, Rehab, And Public Safety

SPEAKER_04

But then, like, okay, then like I know we're going to say. I know we're gonna close this off, right? But like, then if we have to look at the silver lining, and if we have to like, I know we have to go. I know, if we have to be like grown ass people right now, yeah, and like critical thinking and think for ourselves and not use like think for yourself as a grown person, seeing this same pattern that you're talking about, how frustrated you are, and you see the same pattern. Does it look like they really want to fix the problem? They don't. Okay, so then the conversation is a different thing. It's a whole different conversation that we're supposed to be having because we know we understand that there are ways to fix this the fucking problem. We've sit sat here with people and we've gave them solutions. Yeah, and they all say that the same, let's go, you don't, let's go, you don't, but with everything in general, even like the lawmakers thing and all this, yeah. They have the means to fucking fix this the problem. They have the means to find a solution. It's just a problem. And they really are. It's not not, I don't think it's gonna benefit them for voting to change, not fuck voting. No one set your screen. I know I got it, I see it. I don't think it's about even voting, I think it's about power, and they understand like hey, fixing the system just means I'm more exposed to can't get away with everything.

SPEAKER_02

So, what you're saying is I'm gonna elect you to do a job that you're not gonna do. That's what's been happening for how many years now? How much money goes we're gonna close it off. But by not like these people, like banks, like what's the total amount of money that goes towards it and that actually goes to the people. You know, like that, like you know, like the whole Minnesota Somalian situation going on? I can't tell you that. Imagine same shit. But I mean, look at that. This is why we need something like Doge that came and let's do an audit of all the contracts and money going out. Like it needs to be done.

SPEAKER_04

Go go bear up away of the whatever that website was supposed to be called, was supposed to be out there.

SPEAKER_02

That was whose idea was it? Because it's Carlos? Carlos.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like we should there should be transparency. How could we not know how much money we don't have to know who the money's going to? No, but we should be able to see, like, okay, well, taxpayer money is this is where how the tax uh how much we collected this year, yeah, and this is where it got allocated to. So this went to the roads, this went to the base dance throughout the year, this went to stick things, this went to name the stick thing, but you don't name the people's salary or people getting paid.

SPEAKER_02

Justinang, say baginang, na quar company, whatever. Transparency. Yeah, it's I'm at this, I'm gonna be frustrated for the rest of the fucking day. I already it's 5 p.m. You have to be the radio in five minutes, so we gotta close out. I gotta go. Keep comment, more topics, because as you see, we write these things down and we start looking for guests to join in because um it's a show with me and Shark and we. All right, and like we have conversations like this on Thursdays where we just talk about topics and then we bring them for the Tuesday show, just interviews. So I'm gonna close it. I am fucking annoyed, bro. Annoyed. I feel like a fucking monster. And I need rehab.

SPEAKER_04

Rehab, look at that.

SPEAKER_02

Anyways, guys, thanks for tuning in. And I apologize for my frustration, and I will see y'all next week. Peace.
