Just wrote a Show and before I talk about that, it's been about five years since I've had a Memphis Berlet. Didn't Memphis Berlet five years ago? A Beautiful show, beautiful women, a great audience. So a Lot of people kept asking, asking, asking for it. So I decided to do it again. Ideas and death and some other places, but Memphis Berlet was the one that I think that was Just hit home for a lot of people when it comes to that femininity, so had to bring it back. That's why I so what?

what? When people say burlese, what are they expecting? You know the different styles of burlese out there, so talk about the burlese that you're gonna portray a project to the audience.
Speaker 2:
There are so many different. Original is the strip tee. That's originally what Burlese did. Well, they've got, we've got this new Knee over list. That is not. That does not include strip tee. It is feminine, it is, it is beautiful, it is, it is truly art. But it's more about the sexiness, the dance. You may see those, but we don't strip down to the tassels. It's all about getting in touch with the femininity. And this show it actually is going to be a little bit different because I brought some men. We always kind of cater to the meat, cater to the meat and women love it because we were sexy. But I actually brought a few men in for us to enjoy and watch Y'all.

Okay, awesome, awesome, look, let's talk a little bit more about, okay, the details of the show. What, um, what can the people expect when they arrive?
Speaker 2:
Um, for those of you who bought the VIP tickets, it was the V VIP that is going to have reception first part of the night, from 645, just to mix in the mingle, enjoy DJ V live. Who's going to be the DJ? We have a bartender and we're just going to have a good time. Now, if you just pay for general admission we never knock at this general admission. Um, general admission will come in afterwards, about 745. Show will kick off at 830 on the dot. I never been to my show. I don't care if it ain't been 50 people that showed up. We kick off at 830. You don't want to miss the beginning. It is like locked doors, shut doors. Nobody's going to be able to come in. So it's going to be a really, really beautiful um intro to the show. But just expect the name of my show. It's called allure matrix and it is what allure, if you know what allure is that's beauty and glamour.

And then the matrix is like a dominatrix kind of thing, but it's sexy. But, Dominic, dominatrix only means power. So the tricks means power. T R A X.

Those two words together allure matrix. So we're talking about the beauty, glamour and power of a woman, and that is what you will see in this show. Uh, it is going to be different. It is uh, my shows are always choreographed so it's not like a person can. When you audition, you really need to be a trying dancer for my shows. Um, and the purpose of me even doing what I'm doing is not just to entertain people, but it's originally.
Speaker 2:
I originally started doing this to employ young artists. It was. It was not just to make money Of course we always want to do that but my, my dream of always trying to employ young artists and especially when COVID came out, it was really kind of hard. Artists were struggling and so everybody's not gonna have the opportunities to get on stage with the big artists and be a background dancer for the big artists. So this is an opportunity, and just cause you don't know them don't mean that they're not wonderful and they're not great. But I wanna give some opportunities. I wanna give back to my community. I've been truly, truly blessed. I don't have a bunch of money, we don't have a bunch of money, we just I've been blessed and I want to make sure that these arts always live right. Because I'm such a creator, I love what I do, and to be able to employ people so they can live out some of their dreams is the reason why I decided to do Drama Queen Entertainment in the first place.

How long you been doing Drama Queen Entertainment. Oh, it's been about 10 years, I think 10 plus.
Speaker 2:
Yeah, a little over 10 years. I was doing some other stuff. Of course I know this is cliches, but I really actually started it in church. So I'm grateful that I got that opportunity when Pastor James was doing two stars doing Drama, cause I didn't even know how much I loved it until I was over the Drug Department at my church believe it or not and again just did some other things. But I truly, truly feel like this is what I'm meant to do because I love it so much.

I ran a sale for Black Friday, which was the best sale we had. It was the $40. Tickets was on sale for $40. And it was like $43 in some change with the taxes and everything. So we have another sale that we've got going on just because you know.

I know it's the holiday season and for me, I love the holidays, I wanna get out, I wanna go somewhere. So the reason why I picked the holidays is because we're always trying to find somewhere to go. We're always trying to find something to do. This show is going to be worth every penny. I am truly, truly giving you a show that could go Vegas style, you know. So it's not just a little show, it's a $20 show. It's not that it is worth every dime. I'm bringing in some dancers from Atlanta, as well as some dancers that are here at Memphis. They're coming from Nashville. One lives in, two lives in Atlanta, three, two, five in Nashville, and then the others come from here. But it is like, again, it's going to be work. Every time I look for perfection, I look for those who love the arts just as much as I do, who love what they do. That's what I went for with people audition to be in the show.
