Oh, Lorenzo Medina, our heavyweight friend. Uh yeah, yeah, he's nut spikes. Good guy, good guy. Uh, the whole card though itself was kind of lackluster, a lot of hype. Uh, the the biggest part with it. Well, before I get into that, let's just talk about what we're gonna go over. We're obviously gonna go over that card. We're gonna touch on the Clarissa Shields card that happened on Sunday. It is now Monday, and we are going to preview a fight, uh, probably the best fight out of everything we talk about. Emmanuel Navaretti versus Eduardo Sugar Nunes. Crazy unification fight that's kind of slid under the radar with Ryan Garcia back in the mix. He kind of controls the media. And yeah, that's it. Dusty F2F, yo, what stream? I don't know what that means, but what up, man? Yeah, here we are on the boxing bar in boxing podcast, doing it remote because of the goddamn snow. We are snowed in, so here we are. Ryan Garcia versus Mario Barrios, Frank Farton Martin versus Naheer Albright, the singer. I'll touch on that. Gary Antoine Russell versus Andy Hiroka, and a fight that did not happen, that we really wanted to happen. The only fight I really ordered this for was our boy Richardson Hitchens versus You know who Oscar Duarte. The fight that was was was probably most real boxing fans, like Ryan Garcia brings a lot of people, but the real boxing heads, right? They tuned in for Richardson Hitchens versus Oscar Duarte. Yeah, Richardson Hitchens misses weight. And he didn't he miss weight. Nah, not technically, but you did you see so so what happened was Richardson Hitchens, Oscar Duarte weighed in. He I believe he made weight, but then there was a 10 10 pound rehydration clause, and he just couldn't cut it, from what I'm hearing. He hasn't made an official statement yet, but from what I'm hearing, that's what the cause was. He blamed illness. So then I went back and I looked at the weighing, right? And I didn't notice it when they when they weighed in officially. I watched it too. I looked back, yo, Richardson Hitchens looked like a damn skeleton, bro. He looked fucking skinny. And then you look over at Duarte, and we started the show talking about inches because of the snow. Yo, I don't mean this, and I'm trying to say this in the most non-gay way possible. Nothing against gays, I don't care. That dude was girthy as hell. How the hell he makes that weight, dude, is beyond me. Oscar Duarte was he did not even look skinny, he looked just ripped, muscular, in shape, cheeks were fine, crazy. And and I I gotta say, Hitchens probably was trying to hydrate and was like, nah, I can't, I can't, I just can't do it. And it's kind of like it kind of annoyed me. I like him, he's a talker, he talks a lot. You you gotta just thug it out at that point when you talk like that. You know what I mean?

We learned a lot, we learned where certain people are in their career. We learned that they are not the stars that they believe they are. It was Frank Martin versus Naheer Albright. And Naheer Albright is not a star for a few reasons, and I'll I'll get to it. Willie, Willie called this fight, though. He said it's gonna be a good fight. Yeah, he did say it was gonna be a good fight. I thought Frank Martin was better. I fought I fell for the hype, I guess. You know, just because you got knocked out by tank doesn't mean you're bad. He he was active, he's coming off that coming off a knockout, yeah. Coming off a nice knockout. Man, oh man.

Um, this is this is gonna be a violent fight. Leave it to the Mexicanos, man. The Mexicanos buttonheads the unifying the belt, and and Navarrete is never in an underwhelming fight, ever. All his fights, because he's he fights like a drunken sailor and lands volume power from weird angles that you can't train for. I don't know what I'm gonna bet in this fight, fight. It's a it's a true 50-50 to me, because it's a mexicano versus mexicano, and they always come to bang, and it's for a unified belt. I can't wait. This fight hasn't been advertised right um because of the Ryan Garcia and Clarissa Shields kind of plugging up the airwaves. But this is musty TV. This is one of those fights that if if you have a guy kind of on the fence about boxing, have him come over and watch this fight. This is a a going to be a banger, and if it's not a banger and it's one-sided, it's gonna be very exciting. One-sided, because Navarrett's style is just insane. Insane.
