You know, all"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":175.56,"endTime":179.34,"body":"those executive function things"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":175.56,"endTime":179.34,"body":"that, at the time weren't named,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":179.82,"endTime":184.38,"body":"were a battle going on. So my"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":179.82,"endTime":184.38,"body":"parents decided to go get, I did"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":184.38,"endTime":187.89,"body":"the whole gamut of testing. And"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":184.38,"endTime":187.89,"body":"they told me, Caitlin, you have"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":187.89,"endTime":191.01,"body":"this thing called ADHD. And I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":187.89,"endTime":191.01,"body":"was like, what does that mean?"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":191.91,"endTime":194.31,"body":"And they didn't know either in"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":191.91,"endTime":194.31,"body":"the 80s. Right,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":194.31,"endTime":194.76,"body":"right. And"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":195.33,"endTime":201.03,"body":"they were like, oh, so they did"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":195.33,"endTime":201.03,"body":"the best they could. My teachers"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":201.03,"endTime":204.0,"body":"did the best they could with"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":201.03,"endTime":204.0,"body":"what they knew, right? And so"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":204.0,"endTime":207.78,"body":"that kind of started my journey."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":204.0,"endTime":207.78,"body":"And it was really something that"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":207.78,"endTime":211.05,"body":"was unspoken about, oftentimes,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":207.78,"endTime":211.05,"body":"like, they put things into"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":211.05,"endTime":214.65,"body":"place, but we didn't talk about"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":211.05,"endTime":214.65,"body":"it very often. So it did leave"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":214.65,"endTime":220.56,"body":"me with a lot of questioning and"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":214.65,"endTime":220.56,"body":"unintentional feelings of shame."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":220.89,"endTime":225.06,"body":"And what's wrong with me? So the fact that you"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":248.04,"endTime":255.21,"body":"were diagnosed at in fifth grade"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":248.04,"endTime":255.21,"body":"is surprising. And also, you"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":255.21,"endTime":259.56,"body":"know, you would think that okay,"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":255.21,"endTime":259.56,"body":"you learn to add ADHD. They"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":289.44,"endTime":292.44,"body":"wanted to do it all privately."},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":292.44,"endTime":297.42,"body":"So you know, I wasn't seen as"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":292.44,"endTime":297.42,"body":"different in school. So yeah, no"},{"speaker":"Brooke Schnittman","startTime":297.42,"endTime":300.84,"body":"one really talked about it. And it wasn't"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":321.27,"endTime":325.2,"body":"something I wanted to share with"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":325.2,"endTime":328.23,"body":"others, right? But at the time that I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1510.11,"endTime":1513.17,"body":"wrote this book I hadn't I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1513.17,"endTime":1516.35,"body":"couldn't find anything with an"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1513.17,"endTime":1516.35,"body":"actual child. And one of the"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1516.35,"endTime":1518.93,"body":"biggest things again, going back"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1516.35,"endTime":1518.93,"body":"to my own childhood, I remember"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1518.93,"endTime":1524.24,"body":"thinking, do any other kids have"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":1518.93,"endTime":1524.24,"body":"ADHD like me?
