#5 Davey Swinton: Transgender Challenges and Special Needs Children (1 of 2)

Tovah Jacobson

Tovah met Davey upon her move back to Atlanta in 2008.  It was at the same time she met her new and large group of friends (who she remains friends with to this day) assuring her that her move back to Atlanta had been the right thing to do.  Davey is funny, strong, charismatic, and highly creative.  She was one of the original fire and aerial performers in Atlanta.  She paved the way for LGBTQ community.  And they did this all while being a single mother to a special needs daughter.

With huge admiration, join Tovah as she and Davey explore the world of transgender and special needs.

Tovah met Eli in 2008 when she 1st moved back to Atlanta.  Tovah had been unsure of her return to her childhood city, but meeting a few wonderous people, including Eli, upon her return was a huge relief and answer to the question- did she make the right decision.  She had.

All these years later, Eli and Tovah remain fast friends and adventure buddies.  Eli constantly amazes Tovah with his lifestlye and talents.  Everything he puts his mind to, he becomes a master of.  A few years ago, the road began to call to Eli.  He sold everything, bought and built out a Sprinter van, and has been on the road ever since.  Join Tovah and Eli as they discuss the wonderful and challenging side of van-life and his journey through the Americas.  One episode with him was just not enough.
