Welcome back to Hang Out with Your Slingout. I'm Dan. He sure is. And this monkey over here is my co-host, Matthew. I sure am.
unknownMm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02That's pretty good intro, right? Nailed it. If there's one thing you're good at is walking into an empty room and putting stuff in it.
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah.
SPEAKER_02Thanks for coming back. This is as good as it's gonna get this week, I think.
SPEAKER_00I do have news though.
SPEAKER_02Okay. It's it's good or bad news. It's bad news for me. It's good news for you. Oh, did we get an email that complimented me? No, it never happens. Um I'm sure I make sure of that. I make sure of that. Um no. Um Yelp review. No, uh we should see if we can get reviewed on Yelp. I bet you could make that happen. I might be able to. You should just kick the tires and start the fires, dude. I am the grumpy bartender with no personality. No, you have personality. Right, it's grumpy. It's Eeyore. But do you want to hear the good news? Too soon, bro. Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_00This is literally gonna come out right before the movie does.
SPEAKER_03I mean, the movie's been out for 40 years.
SPEAKER_02Not the new part. Um, all right, so I just figured this out. Well, I didn't figure this out. Before you get into that, I don't know if you at home are noticing, but we're both wearing Transformer shirts. I finally got him locked in now. And it's in at least in part because they're re-releasing the cartoon movie that was released in 1986 for the first time in theaters in 40 years and for the anniversary.
SPEAKER_03And so we're super excited about it. We're going on Thursday, which should be the day after this comes out, assuming he can edit that quickly.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And you get to watch me cry live in person. Again. Yeah. And there's new footage. But this time based on a cartoon. Yes, true. Usually I'm just crying because of life.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But it well, actually, what I'm about to tell you is gonna make me cry a little bit too. Good for me, though. Yeah, it's way good for you. We're good. Go ahead. So at work, I was pulled aside by one of the younger guys. Uh-huh. And he said, Hey, little Britney told me something about you. And I thought it was, you know, something about my nether regions. But they don't exist. Yeah. Um and he goes, No, you're apparently you're much older than you look. And I'm like, I'm old as fuck. So I was like, what just to back this up, did he say he said much? Yeah. So I go, I go, I go, okay. I don't think you're that much older than you look. And he goes, I go, all right, give it to me.
SPEAKER_00How old do you think I look? And he goes, early 40s. He's on 42. And I was like, thank you. But does that mean I can't pull off 37 anymore?
SPEAKER_03First of all, outside of the borders of Brazil, or by taking one of the people who resides in Brazil outside of those borders, there's nobody that thinks you look 37.
SPEAKER_00No, no. Brazilians have the best eyesight. It's it they have the best eye care and everything. You can look it up. I'll send you the link.
SPEAKER_02But does that mean I'm getting older? You can't just create a Chat GPT article and send me a link to it. I think we can.
SPEAKER_00And but doesn't that make you feel good? I'm finally starting to look as old as you. I don't.
SPEAKER_02You look older than me. I don't know. Not to public. Not to what public? The one guy who said something? Who said the one guy who said something but didn't actually say anything in relation to me, only in relation to you. So we don't know if he thought that I looked older or younger because he didn't say anything. He just said how old he thought you looked. You see how he always makes this about himself? Swear. It's not about myself, it's about you being old. Either way. I got a new one of those.
SPEAKER_03I don't know that that was as good for me as I thought it was going to be.
SPEAKER_02You should, I mean, it should be good for you. It would have been good for me if he thought you looked 50 and said that you're much older than how you look. 50 would still be a win for me, though. I would take it. Yeah, but then the much older would be that somebody had told him you were like 65. I've been clinging to that 37, though, dude. Yeah, I know. Clinging to it. Half of our episodes have been about it. About me being 37. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right. I guess I just gotta accept it. I look 42 now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's what you have to accept.
SPEAKER_02All right. But um enough of this talk. I got a good word for us this week. Um, after the music, I'll boot it up. And this 40 year 42-year-old brain is gonna give you some knowledge on our word this week. Did you get somebody else to come in and speak for you? Pretty much, yeah. Okay. Okay. All right. And I'll talk to you guys in a minute. Who's both 42 and intelligent? Sorry. Yeah, after the break. Yeah, during the break.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Um, hey, welcome back.
SPEAKER_02And I have this week's word. Do you know? Straight from the mouths of babes. Can you stop saying that? I didn't like it when you said it out there. Yeah, but I'm really good with babies. Are you? Yeah. We're about to find out. And I think the answer is maybe not. Um, well, you know, honestly, I don't know. Should I bring in the story where you lost live? I mean, we can do it real quick. Yeah, we've done it once before. We don't need to do it again. Just listen to all the previous episodes. You'll hit it eventually. Yeah, you'll find it. Um, it's worth it. I almost feel like that's what we should do with stories we've already told. Just be like, just go listen to all the other episodes. You'll find it. When you find it, first one then to let us know when you find it, you win.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Not much, but you win. You win in the sense that you can stop listening to episodes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So you yeah, when you find it, you can stop.
SPEAKER_00Um, okay, so I was in the comic book store buying the newest issue of Transformers, and tends to have a certain kind of people who work in a bookstore or a comic book store.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00There's usually the guy who owns the place.
SPEAKER_03Like comic book store guy from The Simpsons.
SPEAKER_00There's those guys, but there's also guys that are kind of like a combination of us.
SPEAKER_02That are really good with people, really nice, no, super knowledgeable, and is honestly more there for the business part of it. And then there's the guys that are totally like that. But there's always um a female component, and she's usually embraces her nerdy side. Well, if they have a girl like that that works there, she's super sweet. She's not, she told me I couldn't use her name, so we'll just call her Shaniqua. Perfect. Um, but she gave me the new word because she was asking about stuff, and I was like, Yeah, because my podcast is not paying out as much as we want yet. She's like, What he means is anything. Yeah. That's not true. We made 13 cents, dude. Six cents after taxes. Um, it might be five. Thank you, advertisements.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much. Uh, but uh, so she's just sitting by the counter and she's like, Oh, wait, you have the you have the slang podcast. And I was like, Yeah, I remember, cool. And she's all burger. I'm all huh? I was like, You hungry? She's like, No, that's the word, burger. She's all new, it's the newest thing on TikTok and all that. I'm like, well, what's it mean? And uh, she's all look it up. So I did. And that's gonna be our word.
SPEAKER_03I don't know that I want to do it.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna like it. Not unless it's turd burger. Again, it could be a version of that. Oh, unrelated. So say ham sandwich or something stupid.
SPEAKER_03Unrelated with the new setup at work. Well, I mean, uh, it's not a new setup, the new work that has a different setup. I've started to learn the regulars that I've had for a while's names a lot better than I had before because we have to take like their card and stuff like that. Yeah. And we have a regular whose name is Kent Brockelman.
SPEAKER_02You made that up. No, and as a Simpsons fan, like I can't let it go. Like, it's driving me bonkers. How old is this person? That is about the age of Kent Brockman. No, yeah. Like, I would put him in that like mid-50s, early 60s this range. So does he know this? Like, does he know the character? I I have to imagine that he can't have gone through life with his out. Especially the age he's at. Like, he was alive during all the important years of The Simpsons. Yeah. But like his name is Kent Brockelman, which is like the perfect combination for the last name between Kent Brockman's TV name, which is Brockman, and his real last name, which is Brocklstein. Wow, this is that's surreal. Actually, I don't know if it's Brocklestein and something similar to that. But that's that's that's awesome.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I wish we should have started the episode with that.
SPEAKER_02We really probably should have. You can cut this back into the front. Because nobody wants to know about how old I look now. Nobody cares. Like they they're watching currently. They can tell how old I looked at. The guy pulled me aside. They care. They care a lot. I mean, he probably cared in the sense that he's like, you could buy me alcohol, right? Do you want yeah, maybe? There you go. Burger. This week's word. Used as an insult to describe a foolish, dull, or generic person who lacks uniqueness or skill.
SPEAKER_03That's for general slang, gen alpha or gen Z. Uh oh, the very top says, in modern youth and internet slang, calling someone a burger means they are lame, corny, or bad at a specific activity. Yep.
SPEAKER_02I can't wait to rename our favorite burgers.
SPEAKER_00Burger means dummy. A person who royally sucks at simple tasks.
SPEAKER_02I don't know that I like this term. Why not? Because I like burgers. Minced and reformed beef in a vaguely dishaped slab, cooked and placed inside a bread roll, possibly along with the various vegetables and sauces.
SPEAKER_03A European definitely wrote that definition.
SPEAKER_02That's from 2003, so that's not too that's not very new. Um burger means dummy. I just feel like here's the thing. I don't think it should be burger.
SPEAKER_03I feel like if we're gonna do it, then it should be like the worst burger you can find would be in place of burger.
SPEAKER_02Like, I don't know, Big Mac.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if you're like Whopper.
SPEAKER_00Quit saying those words, because if I re- if I read you this definition, that's gonna sound awful. Go ahead. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02No, he's not burger. A woman's vagina when her legs are closed together.
SPEAKER_01Where does the cheese go?
SPEAKER_02You know, there was this old joke from Sam Kinnyson about a really bad cooked grilled cheese sandwich. You know, in yeah, but well, we'll move on.
SPEAKER_03If you want to hear it, you can look it up. I'm sure Sam Kinison's stuff is on the tube. Oh God.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, anyway, like I don't I like that there's a term for this. I don't like that it's something. I don't like that it's something that I like, unless like I think it came from a like a uh TikTok thing where the guy was like, if you do something bad, like you like you fall down or something, you're like flipping a burger. That makes sense? You just ate shit. No, it doesn't make sense. For the young, for the youth, it makes a lot of sense. Nothing they think makes sense makes sense, though. Let me just that that came up last time I looked it up.
SPEAKER_00A fool or dork. Calling someone a burger means they lack intelligence, style, or common sense. Can we just get your new nickname?
SPEAKER_02What if you put cheese in front of it? That means they lack common sense, but they smile a lot. Um so they're unaware that they lack common sense. It's restaurant and kitchen lingo. Come on. That's kitchen lingo. Not that I've heard.
SPEAKER_03Like, like any Gen Alpha or Gen Z kid's ever had a job. I don't like that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02I just don't I don't like this term. I feel like it's an unfair uh hate crime on burgers in general. Would you like a burger for his hot dog? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know how I feel about it. I don't think that I like it. Like, I'm surprised I haven't heard it used, honestly. Yeah, that's interesting to me.
SPEAKER_03Um, but I don't well, because I'm and it sounds like you're just now hearing them say it and hearing you use it more in a sentence.
SPEAKER_02It sounds like instead of saying a burger, you're just saying something's burger.
SPEAKER_00Well, and and when I asked, when I asked her for more clarification on it, I was like, well, do you want, you know, you want me to give you uh props for coming up with this word? She was like, nope. She's like, you can just thank TikTok. But like, wasn't there what was was it what there was a Disney show about burgers, right? Good burger?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, uh, that was Nickelodeon.
SPEAKER_02Okay, Nickelodeon. That was a Disney Nicky. It was a Disney movie or Nickelodeon movie. Didn't they have a TV show first? They started the skit on the show All That. Oh, yeah. Welcome to Good Burger. That was like Keenan's first thing, right? Yeah, now that guy's been on Saturday Night Live for like 38 years. So we just need to get it that's not true, but it's been like 25 or something. He still looks like he did that first catch. Yeah, he looks 42 just like me. He might actually be 42, though. See the difference there. When I hear when I hear burger, that's what I think of as that skit in that movie. Like it being silly, not for what they're like, now it's bad.
SPEAKER_01Like, welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger. Can I take your order? Close. A little too white, but close.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's really hard to pull off Cal. Aren't you like 117th Cherokee?
SPEAKER_00Well, no. That's racist. No, well, like Cher. Huh? No, you were like Cherokee, you're Jewish, I'm not Cherokee. You were Nigerian or something the other day. Brought it up, and you're like, yeah, I'm part that. I'm like, how are you part Hungarian or something? You were like all of it. Huh? Yeah, you don't remember that?
SPEAKER_03I think the sickness is getting dear.
SPEAKER_02You need to watch their episodes because you were like, yeah, I'm part that. I'm like, you're what? Sure. I said something funny for an episode. Oh my god. So we can't like say that that was legit. I don't know. It might have been, but you're picking weird countries, so I don't know. It's the best I got. So this fool got me sick this week. I did not. That's why my voice sounds like this. So instead of butter, it sounds like burger. Like shit. I still yeah. I even I even tried to play with it a little bit. No. I thought they were gonna like this either way. Like you'd you'd lean into it like, oh, I'm gonna use this, or you'd hate it to where you're like, I'm gonna, here's my line of burgers. These are these guys I think are burgers. I thought you were gonna just go heavy on it. You're very like food motivated. It's a weird way to say that. I mean, it's usually ding-dongs and ho-hos, but I mean. I mean, I host a show with a ding dong. Cheese puffs. Should we tell them the cheese ball story? Yeah, we can tell them the cheese balls. Those cheese balls are burger, that's for sure. I'm addicted to cheese balls now. We we went to a birthday party this past week. Well, we didn't go to a birthday party. You hosted one hosted that I went to, and the number one prop they had out there to eat. Wasn't the number one. Felt like it. It was number one to me. It was a giant ass bowl of bigger. Number balls, number one in our hearts. Here's the thing. Do you remember? No. Do you remember when planters did things other than nuts? No. You don't remember planters' cheese balls? I remember planter. What's the thing about your feet? Planner. Planner fasciitis. Fasci fishio. Planner fasciitis. It's what a uh fascist gets when their feet don't work anymore. Um, who knew? You don't remember that you don't remember planters' cheese balls? Planters did like cheese balls. They might have done pretzels. They did like I think onions rings or something like that. Because they had the little blue can of cheese balls. Uh-huh. Those were the best cheese balls. They don't still do those? I don't think so. Or if they do. You work in a grocery store. Have you seen them or not? No. Yeah, look at that. They look so good. Available in select grocery stores. They're still available, dude. What select grocery stores? Like, is it uh Lucia? What? eBay. Imagine. Can we just take just take a moment to imagine buying a perishable food item on eBay? Here's your 1986 can of planters' cheese balls. I'm just really proud of the person who invested in a bunch of cans of cheese balls, which they probably didn't invest in. They probably fell off a truck or they used to work. They're probably cleaning out their house and haven't cleaned it in 30 years. And they're like, ooh, cheese balls. I probably shouldn't eat these. You know what? eBay. eBay. Somebody'll buy these. Yeah, I might be that idiot. Yeah, this isn't looking good.
SPEAKER_00Well, why wouldn't that be a thing? You figure they'd have that more market cornered. They don't cost anything to make.
SPEAKER_02They don't cost anything, but the machine costs, you know, for upkeep and stuff like that. Maybe it got too expensive.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_02Makes me sad. So again, maybe people were getting confused because they like they need planners to be just nuts. Just nuts. Can we make can we can we like brand that? I don't know, but if planners is listening to this, regardless of whether you or not you bring back cheese balls, you should definitely hire us through your ad campaign. We're just nuts. We're just nuts from the waist down. Get it? We had it. We had we had them hire.
SPEAKER_00I just locked that in from like the 35-year-olds to 45. I got that. Locked in.
SPEAKER_02Only males. And 55 and up. Only straight males. Only straight males that have not left their room in the past four years. There's a lot of them. Due to video games. There's a lot of them out there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. That would be awesome. But okay, so we're speaking about cheese balls. Getting back to the word burger. Can we add to burger? Can we add say cheeseburger?
SPEAKER_05Cheeseburger?
SPEAKER_00Or bacon like my favorite thing growing up was called the bacon burger dog. Bacon burger dog. Yeah. It's from the Cosmy show. It's the fancy burger he used to make. That's rapey. That's how he used to rape the kids.
SPEAKER_02Um but used to make it for Theo. And so my dad took that on and he would make his version of a bacon cheeseburger on the grill. And so we just called it the bacon burger dog. That was something good. So anytime something would pop up, I was like, man, that's bacon burger dog.
SPEAKER_00That sounds good.
SPEAKER_02I haven't done that in 25 years. Okay, I was gonna say you really did that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. First time I met you.
SPEAKER_02You said 25 years. Yeah. I said uh that guy should be in jail for 25 years.
SPEAKER_00Um I told my daughter, my daughter's like, you guys should hang out. And then I met you, and I was like, that guy's a real bacon burger dog. My daughter was like, I knew you'd get along. I've never been more insulted in my life. You should be.
SPEAKER_02Um, yeah, no, I don't know. Because that's the problem. Like, burgers, it would be like calling somebody pizza. Like, you can do so many things on a burger to make it cool and exciting that, like, for burger to be lame, to me, by nature, is lame. But you can put stuff on a burger to make it lame. And I also feel like this should almost be a very subjective slang term.
SPEAKER_03You should just pick your least favorite food from growing up that you thought was boring or not good, and that should be your slang term for this. All right. Like mine would be quesadilla.
SPEAKER_02I like them now. I hated them as a child. I feel like they hated them. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Oh, don't even go there. Nope. Off this train. You can't dog that shit. I can. I can and I will. That's dog water. Burger water. We'll do a quick one of these. Worst burger, best burger, fast food. No restaurants. Well, what are we considering fast food? Drive-thru? I don't know, because five guys doesn't have drive-throughs, right?
SPEAKER_03Right. And if you give me five guys, I'm probably going to say five guys is the best burger.
SPEAKER_02So let's but it's also the most expensive burger and feels more like a restaurant burger than it does like. I would probably agree with you. So let's pull five guys out of it. So it'd basically be our second, but we'll say without if in a world where there's no five guys. Okay, so best burger, worst burger, without question, Carls Jr., double Western bacon cheeseburger. I should probably kind of guess that for you.
SPEAKER_03Worst burger is just gonna be based on quality of burger because I'm not gonna name like a specific terrible burger.
SPEAKER_02Um it's probably McDonald's standard burger. Like the bread tastes fake. So those are meat.
SPEAKER_03Their meat tastes fake. I don't like pickles, and I would probably argue that the pickles are the best thing on that burger.
SPEAKER_02Can we no, I guess it's not fast food. Like AMPMs and stuff like that. AMPM like the gas station? Yeah. Do they have burgers? Yeah, they have a burger bar. Oh no shit. They used to. You could get like five burgers for like 37 cents. And they were worth about half that. Interesting. Um, okay, so you're going McDonald's worst burger, which technically you're probably right.
SPEAKER_03Carl's Jr., I'm willing to just say Carl's Jr. burgers are probably the best out of the fast food, but I very specifically love the double Western bacon cheeseburger.
SPEAKER_00I know there's a worse burger out there than the McDonald's burger. It's not coming to me right now because I can't get the AMP thing out of my head. Um, okay. So back to it. Worst burger was McDonald's.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Best burger Carls Jr. Yeah, you really do like the Carl's burger.
SPEAKER_03I really do. Which is funny because I don't have it nearly often enough. We we mostly go to In N Out just because everybody else likes In N Out so much. I think In N Out's fine.
SPEAKER_02I don't yeah, I think it's overhyped. I do like their pricing structure. Yes.
SPEAKER_03Uh I like not having to get a combo if I don't want to get a combo because everything's just line priced, and if you get the three items, that just makes the combo price.
SPEAKER_02And they literally just raised their prices this past summer, and they're still so much lower than everybody else's prices. And you can tell they use good products for the most part. Yeah. But um, I'll go McDonald's as well. I know there's a worse burger out there, but I'm drawing a blank on it. I know it's not Wendy's. But I'm I'm I found somebody that because I I do like the Carl Jr. uh bacon cheeseburger as well. But you know who has that same flavor palette, but it actually tastes fresher, and I think the burgers are a little bit thicker, like um Five Guys, is Portillos. Oh, really? Yeah, it's the same vibe, and I was surprised by that. Um, so if we're taking five guys off the table, I'll go Portillos. Five Guys for me, like yes, the meat and the butter all quality.
SPEAKER_03I like the customization aspect of it, I think.
SPEAKER_02To me, that's my best for anything. I think that's the best. If you can go in and be build it the way you would want to build, that I don't know why they don't all do that though. Because it's a fucking nightmare on the production side. That's why restaurants have menus and shit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But I know, but it didn't seem like it's that big a deal in five guys.
SPEAKER_02Uh sure. Well, I mean, they're never like hammered though. It's never like McDonald's when they got 70 people out in the drive-thru. Yeah. Or like in and out, which is always hammered. That's probably why they're so expensive, so they don't get too busy to fuck up people's food. All right. Well, I mean, at least I brought us back around on burger. We're ending on a good note talking about stuff we like. Because we apparently not the biggest fan of burger. What is something that you think is burger? For their definition of burger. Um something that's lame. Um, a scene in the movie we're gonna see the day after this airs. Oh, Jesus.
SPEAKER_00No, we're not going to see the the what is the the crucification of Christ? What the hell is that stupid movie?
SPEAKER_03I am tired of your hatred of Judd Nelson.
SPEAKER_02I wish that's all it was. What's that fucker ever done? He literally became Ronima's prime. Yeah. And that what happened to his career then?
unknownNothing.
SPEAKER_02Where do you go from there? Nothing. You have reached your ultimate goal. Yeah. You are a prime. Is that what that is?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Prime loser.
unknownWhatever. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Anyways, thank you guys for being here. Can't take any more of this stuff. This guy's burger. So since you asked, cheeseburger, something that I think is lame. Burger. Other than your attitude currently. Mayonnaise on burgers is burger. Uh depends. Depends in your pants? No, like burger pants. Oh, like there are certain aspects where if mayonnaise is the only sauce, next, it can work. Alright, so what is what's something you think's burger? Right now, your fucking attitude. That's what I think is burger. But aside from that. Um, I think that footballer announcers are burger. Anyone particularly you want to put out there? No, don't need to. They all fucking suck. I was watching today for a little bit and I was there's one good one out there. Who? I don't want to watch, I don't watch American football anymore. Yeah, see? I mean, honestly, can't stand most of the announcers. They probably don't all suck. I just.
SPEAKER_03American football makes me realize that you do not need to listen to commentary. I mean. Although the game that I was watching earlier, I don't remember which game it was. But the guy, at least, the color commentator at least tried.
SPEAKER_02He like tried to explain a formation, but didn't explain that what he was explaining was a formation. So to the common listener, it would have just sounded like random words. But is it I also realized how much I hate American football today. Oh, we need to have plays. Like, but let me back you up though. It's okay that you called him colored, though, right? I didn't call him colored. You you said the colored sports cat. I said color commentator. That's what they're called. There's a play-by-play person and the color commentator.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Anyways, we'll talk for another hour. See, this is why we need that sports podcast. We don't need a sports podcast.
SPEAKER_02We could just talk about that shit. We just need to expand the horizons of our current podcast. That's burger.
unknownJesus Christ.
SPEAKER_02Cheeseburger. Double cheeseburger. Yeah, I won't be using that word. Now you're just making it sound more delicious. That's what I'm saying. I thought burger was gonna be something good.
SPEAKER_00In the Cosby show.
SPEAKER_01Something good?
SPEAKER_00In the Cosby show, if I remember right, Theo and Cockroach, any girl that was hot, they used to call a burger. Which is super sexist. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02I didn't, it was the 80s and written by somebody who may or may not have enjoyed the ladies illegally.
SPEAKER_03I don't think there's any may not to that.
SPEAKER_02He was can't charged for it, isn't he? Um, but yeah. So like I also I want to see, I want to use it as a positive. I don't remember that. You don't? No. Maybe it's because remember, all their best friends back in the 80s had the weird names. No, boner.
SPEAKER_03Well, no, that's what I was gonna say is because I watched more Growing Pains, maybe Boner being so ridiculous, I didn't bother to listen to the other ones.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. There's a whole scene where they're he they have a discussion with the kids when they're like, because like somebody they knew got in trouble, but they didn't go to their parents, and they were surprised that that kid wouldn't go to their parents because they were such a good kid.
SPEAKER_00And so they have the family meeting and they're all asking them. They're like, and Bill Cosby was asking him, like, what like if you got pregnant, you wouldn't come to me or your mom to talk? And they were like, We'd be afraid you'd get angry and get mad at us. So we'd probably go to our one of our friends, and he just loses his mind. And he was all like, You'd go to cockroach before you'd come to me. He's like, You just blew my mind that you go to cockroach. I can't believe you haven't seen that scene. Pretty famous scene.
SPEAKER_02Well, I mean, sure, he loves using the word cockroach. The point is maybe when they were using burger complimentary, it was their way of saying that somebody was double cheeked up. Well, isn't Roach another isn't Roach another another name for Spanish fly? It wasn't Spanish fly the thing that used to get ladies high in the 70s and you could do stuff to him.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_03I know the term roach means like a joint.
SPEAKER_00Druggy. Did you see him just blink for help?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's what I thought. I we're gonna end this episode with him blinking for help. I'll zoom in on you while you're blinking. He blinking. He blinking. Um, thank you guys for being here. I hope you guys have a better take on burger than us. I feel like it's showing my age by not uh embracing it. I think your age is showing your age. Yeah. Fucking 42, dude. Getting old. At least I got someone like you I can ask how it feels when I get to my 50s. If you want to have a real conversation about this, one day someone will be like, oh, you look 50, and I'll call you up crying. You'll be like 72. And the guy told you that you looked quote unquote 37. That was nearly two years ago.
SPEAKER_00So 39, but still now I'm not now I'm 42. Dude, I just lost two years. That's three years. Theoretically, I just lost three years.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you told me there's no math on this goddamn podcast. No, you told me that you thought there was no math. I told the world there was no math on this podcast. There's math everywhere. Whatever.
SPEAKER_00Uh like, follow, share. If you like the podcast, especially in Kingman.
SPEAKER_03Wait, you said math, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02There's no meth on this podcast. Not anymore. Not anymore, baby. Not since we cleaned up. Um but yeah, we would love you guys to uh if you like this this this bullshit. You think it's burger? Do you think it's ham sandwich? You think it's corndog corndog? I can get behind corndog. Why? Corn dogs are great. Corndogs can get behind me if you know what I'm saying. Ah, yes. Please cut that part out. What? Um either way, this guy's Matt. I sure am. That's Dan. Still. 42 and sail in the ocean blue. That's my Christopher Columbus joke I like to do. Don't look away from me. Um, hang out with your sling out. Please. Please don't let that joke turn you away from listening to us in the future. We would love you have to have you back for the next episode, which you got a better joke? Will likely be better than this episode was. Let me see a better better Christopher Columbus joke. Go. What? See, he's got nothing. I don't think you need to have a Christopher Columbus joke. All the best mind comic comedic minds do.
SPEAKER_00But thank you guys for being here. Uh, silly episode.
SPEAKER_02It'll be better in the editing room, I think.
SPEAKER_01I hope so.
SPEAKER_02All the good stuff we have to cut out. Can't get a whole lot worse. This episode's only six minutes. It'll be our most famous episode.
SPEAKER_03Be the only one that people watch all the way through. All right. Uh later slingers.
SPEAKER_02That's it. I handed that off for that. I don't know. I didn't know what you were handing off. I mean, something give these guys some spikes. Later, guys. Later. Your levels are good?
SPEAKER_03I think so. I hear me just fine. All right. I don't know. Like every time we do this, I hear me just fine, and then I listen to the playback, and it's like six levels lower than to turn you down and that sounds about right.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02Uh okay. That worked, right? It didn't until you stopped and asked me if it worked. Okay, let's try that again. Hey hey! No, we're not gonna do that. Yeah, that didn't work as well as the first time. Uh have you ever started a podcast before? No. I usually rip off you. Do you need me to start? I mean, are you gonna do the hey hey? Rip me off. Hey hey!
SPEAKER_00Uh welcome to hang well, that's not out. Hey, hey, hey. Welcome back. I nailed it. I nailed it. I was there. I had it. Uh huh.
SPEAKER_02And I coughed. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But
