Open to all, and rarely held in New Orleans, MISO Board week presented a great opportunity to speak up about renewable energy needs and goals for Louisiana. MISO is working on historic transmission projects that will allow us to bring online more renewable energy, increase grid reliability, and create hundreds of thousands of jobs. Included in those projects is a group called Tranche 3, which will address transmission needs in MISO South. As your Watchdog, The Alliance is one of the many voices urging MISO to push ahead with and prioritize Tranche 3.
