Where There's Life, There's Mess
Wisdom, Pt. 12 | November 24, 2024
Pastor Wes Morris
Proverbs 4:7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.
Proverbs 9:9 Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.
Proverbs 14:4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.
The wise see the hard work and the mess, but they also see the harvest ahead.

“Unpleasant work is necessary for a harvest.” - The Faithlife Study Bible
Where There’s Life, There’s Mess
1. Embrace the Difficult
James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
2. Embrace the Mess
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap [a harvest], if we do not give up.
