I Peter 5:8 (NLT) Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.


A PASSION FOR PURITY

I. DON’T CONCEAL IT, CONFESS IT.

Proverbs 28:13 (NLT) People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.


You are only as strong as you are honest.
 

II. DON’T JUST FIGHT IT, FLEE FROM IT.

II Timothy 2:20-22 (NIV) In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

I Corinthians 6:18 (NIV) Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does.


III. IF YOU FALL, KEEP GETTING BACK UP.

Isaiah 1:18 (NIV) The Lord says, “Now, let's settle the matter. You are stained red with sin, but I will wash you as clean as snow. Although your stains are deep red, you will be as white as wool.

Proverbs 24:16 (NLT) The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.
