Mindfulness Monday: Equanimity

Magdalena Grudzinski-Hall Season 1 Episode 35

Join us as we discuss Equanimity with Dr. Laura Smallwood. Equanimity is the final heart virtue and can be thought of as the ability to be with things as they are, or calm in the face of extremes whether they be good or bad. This is not a passive stance on life, but rather an active choice to engage with whatever the present moment brings, as opposed to passivity which is a form of avoidance. We discuss common hindrances to equanimity, as well as how to apply equanimity in the workplace.
