Hey, here we are again with the third episode on the End Time Prophecy and, as always, my co-host over here, pastor Seth Odom what's up, family? And of course, we got guest speaker, my pastor, pastor Michael Edds. How are you, sir? Doing fine, doing great. We're excited to jump right back into where we left off. Last week we were talking about. We've already done the first episode.
Speaker 1Listen. If you haven't listened to these episodes, listen to them in order. It'll give you the end time prophecy, what you can expect, where we're headed, what's going on. So the first three and a half years are things are great. Things are kind of headed in what the world would think is the right direction. The rapture's already happened, or at least right here at the three and a half years.
Speaker 1Some think pre, before we even start the seven. Some think mid, right in the middle of the three and a half years. But here we are now. God has already. Seven seals have already been broken. We're in the third episode. If you want to hear about those seven seals, go back to the second episode. If you want to hear about pre-tribulation and things leading up, go back to the first episode. Right, hope you listen to them all, but we are currently in the situation where the seven seals have been broken and now we're getting into the seven trumpets. That's right. So there's the seven trumpets, there's seven bowls, there's a total of 21 judgments that are happening. Um, and we're right in the midst of. We've already lost a, a ton of people. We're going to lose a ton more. We talked about the four horsemen, the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I mean, this has been rich. It's been a lot to chew on and dig through.
Speaker 2I hope you guys have enjoyed it. But you ready to jump into it? Pastor Ed's is like he is the man with the end time plan. You know what I'm saying? He's got it all down got it all down, he's been studying it a little while.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, if people only knew what was coming they'd get close to God.
Speaker 1Yeah, the sad thing about it is people don't want to know. Very few want to know, right, right, I'll be honest, I definitely want to know for the sake of knowledge, but I hope I'm not here to experience it. That's right. Yeah, for sure. So let's dig through it. Let's talk about the seven trumpets, I think the first trumpet. If you wanted to follow along in your scripture, you could read Revelations 8, 8-7. Really kind of talks about this first trumpet and you want to dig into it a little bit, Pastor.
Speaker 3God starts pouring out his judgments. What was interesting the last seal judgment, there was deathly silence. Right 30 minutes foreboding of what was coming. When the first trumpet sounds, the angel sounds, there's fire, falls upon the earth and a third of all plant life's destroyed. A third of the trees, a third of the grass, a third of the wheat fields, a third of the plant life on earth is destroyed. That's the first trumpet. That's in, I believe, revelation, chapter 8.
Speaker 1Now, who is the angel of the Lord? The angel is taking the trumpets. They're angels of God.
Speaker 3There are seven of them that go out during the seventh seal. They go out and then they start blowing their trumpets, one after the other, announcing God's judgment upon the earth. Fourteen judgments are coming, seven in these and seven in the bowl judgments. So this one, a third of all plant life is destroyed on earth. I don't know about you, that's kind of scary to me.
Speaker 1The whole entire system is going to start coming down now. It's going to start coming down the environment.
Speaker 2My wife is going to hate that.
Speaker 1Well, hopefully she won't be here to see it.
Speaker 2Less plants to go by. Lowe's is going to be hurting. Yeah, she better not be here.
Speaker 1All right, let's talk about the trumpet. All right, so trumpet one. It says hell fire blood. What's that?
Speaker 3I'm not sure I know. When Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, fire and brimstone fell out of the heavens. So I would say it's something similar to that. Some of you say, well, maybe it's a nuclear war, I don't know. But similar to that, some of you say, well, maybe it's a nuclear war, I don't know. But I believe this is a judgment coming from.
Speaker 1God coming out of the heavens. Yeah, reading Revelation 8, 7, here says the first angel sounded, and hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth and the third of the trees were burned up and all green grass was burned up. That is wild, yeah, all right, so talk about the second trumpet.
Speaker 3Well, the second trumpet. It's like a great burning mountain, I guess. A meteor hits the earth, okay, and a third of the ocean is destroyed. Third of the ships, a third of all of the living creatures in the sea are destroyed. Can you imagine the tsunamis, a meteor that hits the earth the size of a mountain and that water rushing towards coastlands? It will wipe out cities.
Speaker 1Absolutely yeah.
Speaker 3So that's the second trumpet. A third of all of the oceans will be destroyed.
Speaker 1And it talks about. And one, one third of the sea became blood, right, wow? Or is this got something to do with the after the vegetation struck? It talks about it mingling with the blood, but then we here. We are here the sea became blood. That's pretty wild. The third trumpet.
Speaker 3The third one. Another star falls from the heavens and destroys a third of all drinking water. You go to get some water to drink and poison comes out, and this star is called wormwood. Wormwood is something that's very bitter and very poisonous, and it will fall from the heavens and destroy a third of the drinking water. So you have the third of the oceans and a third of the drinking water, and then a third of all plant life.
Speaker 1It's interesting we talk about wormwood. I remember there was a, there's a, not that, this is it. It just seemed coincidental. I think there's an asteroid out there called wormwood, if I'm not mistaken. I remember seeing something about it a few years ago, talking about wormwood like coming close closeness, as close proximity to the earth, how far it's going to pass within a certain amount of time. I don't remember when it's supposed to pass through, but it's supposed to come into the area here. I don't know. I don't exactly when, but I remember seeing something about it well, there's a something interesting.
Speaker 3I don't know the meteor or whatever it is that's orbiting the moon right now. So we have two, two moons, and I don't know if that's it or this comet that's coming through, called the mother of all dragons. I don't know. It comes every 70 years, but something is going to hit this earth and destroy the oceans, a third of the oceans, a third of the drinking water.
Speaker 1Okay, let's talk about the fourth trumpet.
Speaker 3Okay, the fourth one is a third of the heavens, a third of the sun will be darkened, a third of the stars and a third of the moon, so, and a third of the daytime the earth will be smitten with darkness.
Speaker 1A third, how long do you think apart? How far apart do you think these trumpets are?
Speaker 3I think they follow one right after the other Because you're talking about the judgments of God coming the last three and a half years.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3I believe they follow right after one another.
Speaker 1Wow, seems like every time you turn around, if you're still here Something's happening, something's happening.
Speaker 3No wonder people are going to hide themselves in the caves of the earth.
Speaker 2I would Like those plagues that happened in the Exodus. Yeah, right after one another, the fifth trumpet.
Speaker 1This is the locust from the bottomless pit.
Speaker 3So there's a star that will fall from heaven. I don't know if that's. You know Lucifer's going to be kicked out of the heavenlies in this last time. But it said a star will fall from the heavens. Well, you know he's going to be kicked out. I don't know if he's the one, but he will have the key to the bottomless pit. It'll be open and fire and smoke will come up out of the earth and creatures they said they look like locusts will be released upon the earth and they will be given the order to torment those who've taken the mark of the beast wow for five months and said um, they will sting them like a scorpion stings.
Speaker 3The pain will be so horrendous that people can't die. Death will be taken away they'll be tormented, they'll try to kill. Stick a gun up to their head, blow their brains out. They're still living. That's wild Death will flee from them. They will be tormented for five months. So I want to tell you people, better think twice about taking a little ID here on their forehead.
Speaker 1Yeah, and it's already becoming a big thing. I know there's some organizations here in the United States that already have their employees already have like an RF chip in their right hand, or I think it's in their right hand, where they get access to the building and they can purchase things in like the store there at work, and so I've actually seen that.
Speaker 3Prince Charles and his two sons have an ID implanted In case they get kidnapped. They can find them.
Speaker 1Wow.
Speaker 3I don't know if it's in Sweden or where it is. One of the European nations require their soldiers to take a mark, an implant. Well, you know, they're putting it in our pets now.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3So if your pet gets lost, they'll know who it belongs to.
Speaker 1They ain't going to heaven, are they?
Speaker 3They're not going to go to heaven.
Speaker 1They ain't going. All right, let's talk about the next trumpet.
Speaker 3The next trumpet. This is really interesting. It said the Euphrates River will dry up. In the last hours, the last days. It's already drying up.
Speaker 3There are four angels, I believe, that are imprisoned there. That have been imprisoned there, I think, since Lucifer's rebellion. They were so evil and wicked. They were locked up for all this time somewhere in the river Euphrates. They will be released for a day, an hour and a time and they will destroy a third of mankind, that's maybe 2 billion people. And they will be accompanied by a 200 million man army, which I haven't figured that one out. I don't know if it's the Chinese or who it is, but they will be accompanied, and it even describes what they look like. It kind of reminds me of a helicopter. They have wings that whirl overhead, they have the face that looks like a man and their tails are stingers and so forth. I mean this last bowl, but this one, these angels are hideous. They've been locked up for a day and an hour and they're angry and they hate mankind and they're going to be released and this 200 million man army will accompany them and they're going to destroy a third of mankind. That's a lot of people.
Speaker 1That's a lot of people. So I wonder so this is going to be some nation that they're going to be out making war against right. Yes, that they're going to be out making war against right.
Speaker 3Yes, well, it could be a Cuban army, it could be a demonic army, I don't know, but it said that they will be released to kill a third of mankind and be accompanied by a 200-million-man army. So I'm not sure who that is.
Speaker 1Wow.
Speaker 3The only nation on earth that I know that could market or put on uniforms army that big would be China, but I'm not sure.
Speaker 1Unless there's like a one world order at that point, mm-hmm, like United Nations or something like that, along the lines where everybody's come together Because it talks about the horns on the beast right, yep, that those represent the different nations that will come together and this is one will come out of them which will lead them right, so it could be several that have come together for one cause.
Speaker 3Whatever that, could be, or whatever. That is right, it's got to be. I think it is a human army that they're going to influence. Of course, you know the Antichrist will be ruling and reigning. I don't know if it's an army he puts out or what, but that shows you how loyal Satan is to his followers. First of all, when those creatures are released to torment people, they torment people that have the mark. Well, you'd think the Antichrist would protect his own, but he doesn't. Satan doesn't care a bit about the human race.
Speaker 1They come but to kill, steal and destroy.
Speaker 3And when this is happening, he doesn't care that a third of them of mankind's wiped out. Even of the ones that take the mark, he doesn't care.
Final Trumpet and Bowl Judgments
Speaker 1Right, yeah, it's the only reason why he came. Yeah, it's the only reason why it came Kill, steal, destroy. So what about the next trumpet?
Speaker 3The next trumpet is the kingdom is proclaimed. I wrote that down. It said the seventh angel sounded. There were loud voices in heaven. They said the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ. He shall reign forever and ever, and that everybody in heaven, the 24 elders, the church, everybody falls down and worships God and says go, do it, you're worthy. And so there is a great proclamation at that time with the seventh trumpet. So the stage is set for the next series, which would be the what?
Speaker 1is it? The bowl jumps the seven bowls. Yeah, okay. So what happens with the first bowl? Now, in this scenario, it says the bowls are poured out. Right?
Speaker 3The bowls. Some people call them vials. There's a great epidemic that takes place. This is found in Revelation 16. People break out in hideous sores, they smell, and it's just a massive epidemic worldwide. And you would think that people would repent, wouldn't you?
Speaker 1Yeah, you would think.
Speaker 3So they cursed God and repented, not of their sins. So it's a worldwide epidemic.
Speaker 1So there's a declaration and then there's a defilement. There's a declaration and then there's still. People are just shaking their fists, pretty much metaphorically, shaking their fists at God, and they repented not.
Speaker 3And even during this time, an angel goes through the heavens proclaiming the gospel and people still don't repent. Wow, God is a God of mercy, even to the end, but man makes his final choice. Yeah.
Speaker 1All right, so painful sores the second bowl.
Speaker 3The second bowl is found in Revelation 16, and everything in the ocean. The oceans are turned to blood, 100% of them. Every living thing in the ocean is turned to blood. And that leads up to the next bowl, which all drinking water is turned to blood. And the comment made by the angel was that the Antichrist and his followers have shed the blood. And the comment made by the angel was that they, the antichrist and his followers, have shed the blood of the saints and so give them blood to drink wow so all the oceans are destroyed, all the drinking water is destroyed.
Speaker 3Wow, in the fourth bowl uh, the sun becomes so hot it scorches people to death. I don't know about you, but when I was a kid, we went to jacksonville, florida, long ago, and I was just a little kid from the mountains and we'd never been to the ocean. I really didn't know anything about getting sunburned, but I got cooked. I talked can you imagine something far, far worse than that? People are scorched. The sun will become so hot.
Speaker 2Wow.
Speaker 3And I guess even in their homes. You've been through these excessive heat waves Right? Can you imagine air conditioners not working and people will be scorched and die?
Speaker 1Seth wouldn't make it. Yeah, I would be nope, he got to have pestilence and just no ac.
Speaker 2he done wow, take me home now, father.
Speaker 3Come quickly, lord let's talk about the fifth bowl um, why don't you take a look in your book there? I want you to describe that fifth bowl to me says darkness and great pain says darkness will cover the earth. Uh, darkness will be poured out upon the Antichrist and his kingdom and people will be hurting. You talk about sunburned and cooked and the Bible says and they repented not of their sins, they shook their fists to God and cursed God.
Speaker 1The sixth bowl.
Speaker 3Read that to me. Euphrates dries up To make way for the kings of the east. That's a worldwide army, that from the eastern countries china, india, pakistan, all those nations will be making their way towards the battle of armageddon. And if you look at the Euphrates, it comes down like this from the north of Israel right into Israel. Just a path and it'll make way for them. It's already drying up.
Speaker 1And the seventh bowl says a great earthquake with giant hailstones.
Speaker 3It's the worst earthquake in human history. It will flatten all of the cities of the earth. The city of Jerusalem will be split into three parts. Can you imagine New York City? An earthquake so powerful it causes all of the skyscrapers to fall and collapse. So the cities of the earth will collapse, mountains will collapse, islands will sink beneath the sea. It's the worst earthquake in human history and it's worldwide.
Speaker 1Wow, and at that point two-thirds are gone by the end of that. Two-thirds of the population are gone at the end of that.
Speaker 3Oh, yeah, by that time, two-thirds. So the world's population. Is what? 8 billion? Okay, mathematician, what's two-thirds so the world's population is what eight billion okay mathematician what's two-thirds of eight billion?
Speaker 2two and a half billion?
Speaker 3two and a half left, probably two and a half billion left. You mean, there's dead bodies everywhere and you try to tell people about this and they just shake their heads. They, they don't want to hear it. You know if, if somebody would tell me, mike, you're going to go out of here and a tractor trailer is going to sideswipe, you Don't go that way. I'd be stupid if I didn't listen to him. I'd wait a while and then go. People don't want to hear it. Yeah, they say you're gloom and doom. No, this is what's coming.
Speaker 2Right.
Speaker 3And a lot of the church folks have no clue what's coming. If we knew what was coming and believed it, we would be out there like Noah was trying to get people on the ark trying to get people saved. It gives us a passion to win the lost.
Speaker 1Yeah, actually, I talked about that a little bit Sunday in the message. I was talking about how, if you read that story and this is something pretty common, I think that we know but maybe not everybody who's heard this story before but Noah, in the last days, when Noah and his family got up on the boat, god's the one who closed the door. It wasn't Noah. Noah didn't close the door to the ark.
Speaker 2God closed the door to the ark he, the door to the ark.
Speaker 1Yeah, so there's coming a time when that door is going to close and they'll be like the five foolish virgins knocking on the door let us in.
Speaker 2And the lord looks out, says I don't know you right now, do you think there is significance to the third, a third, a third, a third, a third of everything?
Speaker 3I believe there is. I'm not sure what it is, but I believe it is.
Speaker 2Could it be God's mercy by not doing it in one big swoop, but giving people time. This is what you've seen. You still got.
Speaker 3You're seeing my mercy yeah.
Speaker 2Yep.
Speaker 3One of the some good news. During all of these judgments being poured out, guess what we're going to be doing? I was reading in Revelation 19. The church is in heaven. The Lord says I'm going to prepare a banquet for you. I won't drink of the fruit of the vine until you're with me. There's a wedding going to take place.
Speaker 3Revelation 19, 6 says and I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude as the sound of many waters, as the sound of mighty thundering, saying Alleluia for the Lord, god omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His wife has made herself ready and it was granted to her to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. The Lord has been working on each one of us to clean up our lives, to become more and more like Jesus. Every day I ask if there's something in me unlike you, take it out or show me I'll get rid of it.
Speaker 3We are in a period of preparation, getting ready for a celebration and what people don't realize. Christians don't realize that we're the bride of Christ. We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ. We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ. So when he comes back next week, we can talk about the Battle of Armageddon and the return of Christ and the triumph for entry, but when he's crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords as his bride, we're going to be there with him, we're going to be crowned and I tell you, people have no clue the glory and the excitement that the Lord has in store for us, amen.
Speaker 1No eye seen, no ear heard.
Speaker 3But God is prepared.
Speaker 2Come on those that love him.
Speaker 3That's right.
Speaker 2Get ready, get ready, get ready.
Speaker 3I think the greatest thrill that I could have is just to look at him and say thank you for saving my soul. Right, we could be in hell, we could go to hell, but the mercy of God kept reaching out to us until we said yes, yeah, and that's what God's doing right now with people that may be listening to this. You say, well, you're trying to scare us. No, we're trying to warn you because god loves you and he doesn't want you to go through these things.
Speaker 1He wants to spare you from it he wants you to get on board the boat, so, um, but that's what I want to do is just look at him and say thank you yeah, and we live in a time and day when the prophets would have given anything to live in, to have the, the holy spirit, yeah, to be able to go out and, minister, do the things that god's called us to do, right?
Speaker 3but he said um, in matthew I think it's 24 um, when you see the fig tree budding, you know that summer is near. And he, when you see all these signs coming to pass, you know that the Lord's coming is near, even at the door. And he said one thing that's really interesting. The fig tree budding was Israel being reborn as a nation, which was in May 1948. He said this generation, the generation that was there or was born during the time Israel was reborn as a nation, will not pass away until all these things happen. I was born in October 1948, and she was reborn in May 1948. My generation, people that were alive then we're going to see his return. So that's how close it is. My generation, people that were alive then we're going to see his return.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3So that's how close it is.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3We're not in the last days, we're in the last minutes of the church age.
Speaker 1Better be ready.
Speaker 3Amen, I want to be ready to walk in Jerusalem, just like John.
Speaker 2Well.
