Speaker 1Yes, and look, he's trying to relocate hey, come on down, we'll call you crosspoint for the show's over so uh, pastors, um, pastor Michael Edds, it's a blessing to have you, pastor.
Speaker 1Um, we're certainly enjoying look, we've been this. This will be kind of the, the last installment of the, the great tribulation, and we're going to kind of talk about, as we dig into it, we're going to wrap this up. We're going to kind of wrap up with talking about the reign of Christ, the second coming, and so we've already been through the pre-trib, pre-tribulation, pre-trib.
Speaker 2For those who don't you know who know that's right.
Speaker 1Then there's the tribulation, the seven-year period of tribulation, and then after that is post-trib, which is the millennial reign of Christ. We've already went through the 21 judgments, so make sure you catch out the previous podcast if you'd like to keep up with this. But hey, pastor Ed's going to walk us through a kind of a real quick review.
Speaker 3Just try to catch everybody up you did a good job of it. There's a seven year period. First three and a half years. It's going to be great peace and prosperity. A world leader will arise. Give a plan to the world. You can be prosperous through peace. Right midway through that he will change. Set himself up as god and rebuilt jewish temple in jer Jerusalem. Set up an image, command the world to bow down to it. Take a mark in the right hand of the forehead. Anybody that refuses are killed. Israel revolts. He destroys two-thirds of the Jewish nation. A third of them are taken into exile into a place in the wilderness called Basra, and so they're protected there. For the last three and a half years, the 21 judgments of God fall upon the earth. During that last three and a half years, two-thirds of the world's population is wiped out, and so that kind of brings us up to today.
Speaker 1Let's put it in reverse a moment here let's talk about. I wanted to ask you about this statue, this image it set up. What is your opinion on this? It's a statue that talks.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's a statue that will be having the ability to speak AI, artificial intelligence.
Speaker 1Right.
Speaker 3It'll be the image of the beast and the false prophet, who is. You know, jesus had John the Baptist. The Antichrist is going to have the false prophet. He's going to command the world to bow down to it. It'll be set up in the temple in jerusalem and if they don't, this image will have the power to kill people.
Speaker 1You know, technology today can make that happen I know they just they're just releasing some new robots that are supposed to be like between 20 and 30,000. And look, we don't know. I'm taking an educated assumption here. I should say but yeah, I know, they just released some robots that will pretty much do everything from cleaning your house to walking your dog for you.
Speaker 3Some of the armies of the earth have AI soldiers.
Speaker 1Right AI soldiers.
Speaker 3Right, and that you know. I saw one in Israel where this AI was sent in and the leader of Hamas had been trying to catch it went in and he threw a stick at it. You can't, how are you going to kill a robot? And so they, the Jews, saw him and wiped him out.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3That technology is here and said fire will fall from heaven. That will amaze people, will wipe out people. Well, there are all kinds of satellites up there now with laser beams.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3The technology is here today.
Speaker 2I'm going to tell you this Jason needs to quit writing his sermons using AI.
Speaker 1You need to repent that lie you just told right there.
Speaker 3That's where you get those good messages.
Speaker 2Huh yeah, right, I have seen ai I'm telling you leaders, you better be careful. I've seen people ask uh, ai for prophecies and things like that for end times and they're taking it as the word of the lord. Like we've got to be very careful how we use AI to accommodate and just think about that man.
Speaker 1So you look at humanity. Now we know that Jesus laid his life down for us. No one took it Like he laid his life down, but he allowed man to murder him for the sin of the world. So in essence, you know, they treatesus the way they treated him. And now here we are building things in our image to it's. It's kind of wild man, that's a long, deep rabbit.
Speaker 3Oh, we could go down one day, yeah um, but it's just, it's quite interesting.
Speaker 1You're following along in the footsteps of the enemy, which is why people will be deceived because they're following along. It's just, I don't know. That's a deep topic we could definitely dig into one day.
Speaker 3You know we talked about the two prophets of God will be taking a stand against the Antichrist the last three and a half years Toward the end of the tribulation. He will kill them. Their bodies will lay in Jerusalem for three and a half days, and so all the world will gaze upon them and rejoice because the ones that tormented them have been killed. God's always going to have a witness, yeah, but they'll be wiped out. The first time in human history, the world through AI or whatever you want to call it.
Speaker 3It has the ability to watch at the same time. I think out of 8 billion people, over 6 billion people have smartphones and they can watch the same thing at the same time. So the world will gaze upon them at the same time and rejoice that the prophets of God have been destroyed and they'll lay in the street. What? Three days, three and a half days?
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3Until the Lord raises them up, catches them up into heaven, and then that's when the armies of heaven, mentioned in Revelation 19, are gathered. We're up there. I'm going to be on a white horse. I do well to walk, but I'm going to be in good shape riding a white stallion, looking good.
Speaker 2Okay, watch out now.
Speaker 3Yes sir.
Speaker 1He's going to be strutting this stuff. This is my time.
Speaker 2I've been waiting on this.
Speaker 3Yeah, and what's exciting is when he's ready to come back, just shortly before his return. As we're gathering, israel repents. In one day, it said, they will look upon him whom they pierced and weep as a parent over an only child. The remnant will be saved in one day, in this Basra exile. That's going to cause the armies of heaven to gather. The doors of heaven open and it's in it, revelation 19 says and the armies which were in heaven followed him on white horses, closed and fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth goes a sharp sword with which he should smite the nations and he shall rule them with a rod of iron and he shall tread the winepress of the fearness and wrath of God Almighty. Upon his chest is a banner or vesture that says King of kings, lord of lords. He's just going to be speaking and this multi-million army of the Antichrist will be gathered from all over the world to try to stop his return. The devil is stupid.
Speaker 2Say it, say it, say it.
Speaker 3He got kicked out of heaven once. He got kicked out of the heaven at least the second time, and he thinks he can still pull it off with all of the smart weapons of the world.
Speaker 1Jesus is going to just speak.
Speaker 3And said their skin and flesh will rot from their bones, fall upon the ground. The blood will flow for 200 miles from Megiddo. The Valley of Armageddon, which is 200 miles north of Jerusalem, will flow for 200 miles down to Jerusalem, but there will be an army remnant there surrounding Jerusalem. Yeah, but there will be an arm and a remnant there surrounding Jerusalem.
Speaker 1All right, so now? So he's set himself up in the temple. I want to try to keep this in like a timeline perspective so it's easy to kind of follow along. So he'll set himself up in the temple, then the rapture will occur, the great calling away, and then the sea will give up its dead, the earth, all those things Of the righteous, of the righteous right, and then, after that occurs, there will be two prophets Arise. Arise and they will be speaking out against the Antichrist. They'll say no, we shouldn't be following him. This is the Antichrist. They'll call it for what it is for 1290 days.
Speaker 3He can't stop them. Nobody can stop them. Anybody tries to kill them, fire shoots out of their mouth and burns those people up wow I wouldn't want to mess that's pretty wild.
Speaker 1And then? So then they will be killed. They'll lay in the street for three days, then they'll be taken up. And'll lay in the street for three days, then they'll be taken up. And then what occurs? What's the next event that occurs?
Speaker 3after that, the next event, I believe at that time is where Israel returns to God.
Speaker 1So they all run. Is that where they run into the cave and they find?
Speaker 3Oh, the people. No, I believe what's going to happen when the two prophets of God are killed and raised from the dead. That causes the Lord's return. The nation of Israel repents and gets saved in one day. The remnant of them in exile in Basra.
Speaker 1So the Lord shows up in Basra.
The Return and Reign of Christ
Speaker 3Yeah, what's going to happen is, he said, micah. Chapter 2 says I will surely gather all of you, jacob, I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture. The place will throng with people. The one who breaks the way will go before them and break through the gate and go out. The king will pass before them, the Lord at their head.
Speaker 3When Jesus comes back we read that in Revelation 19,. The battle of Armageddon he comes back. This is phase one. The multi-million, million-man army of the Antichrist is gathered there. The Lord just speaks and they drop dead. The blood flows up to the horse's bridle for 200 miles southwest Jerusalem and the Antichrist is taken, the false prophet, cast into hell. But Jesus goes from there to liberate his people. It says in Isaiah 63, 1,.
Speaker 3Who is this? Who comes from Edom, that's over in the modern-day country of Jordan, petra, from the city of Basra? Who is clothed? Clothing is stained in red. Well, why is it stained in red? He just wiped out a multimillion-man army in Armageddon, Right. Who is this in Royal Roads, marching in his great strength? Whew, it is I, the Lord, announcing your salvation. I, the Lord, who has the power to save. He goes and liberates them, brings them out of exile. They head toward Jerusalem. And that's when he touches down on the Mount of Olives and it splits in two. And if you read in Zechariah 12, 2 through 9, he says I'm going to make Jerusalem a cup of trembling and reeling to all the peoples around when it is in siege against Jerusalem and also against Judah. He said I'm going to make Jerusalem a heavy stone around people's neck. The Antichrist will have part of his army there trying to destroy Jerusalem.
Speaker 3After Jesus slaughters the Antichrist and his army in northern Israel, he goes to Basra, liberates the third of the Jews that were taken into protective exile for three and a half years and breaks through that gate, leads them to jerusalem. And he said in that day, the lord will defend the inhabitants of jerusalem. When he sets foot on the mount of olives, that group of exiles that are human beings, the jews, the remnant, will be with him. We will will be with him. The Mount of Olives will split in two. It'll form a valley up to the eastern gate. But it says in that day, the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Speaker 3Zechariah 12. And the one who's feeble among them, in that day will be like David and the house of David be like God, like the angel of the Lord before them, and in that day I will set to destroy, like the angel of the Lord before them, and in that day I will set to destroy all the nations that have come against Jerusalem. He's going to liberate Jerusalem, the remnant. Well, you can't stop them. They will wipe them out. There will be a mass slaughter there, and then he will march up to the eastern gate that's been sealed. The Muslims sealed it long ago to keep the Jewish Messiah from coming through, and it will. The eastern gate yeah, what did I say? I don't know. The eastern gate.
Speaker 1I mean, that's what we call it, right? Hey, when you're old you might call it anything.
Speaker 3I don't know what you called it. Right, hey, when you're old you can. You might call it anything. I don't know what you called it, but I was just. I was. The amount of olives is to the east of the eastern gate. It'll split into. He will march up to that with us and the remnant of israel and he'll walk in and there'll be the throne of dave. Yeah, um, the old hymn of the church. It says bring forth the royal diadem, crown him Lord of all. Everyone in heaven, everyone on earth, and the devil himself and the antichrist and false prophet that are now in hell will have to bow the knee and say he is Lord, right every knee will bow.
Speaker 3Every knee will bow amen and, but he's going to liberate them. So, lord Right, every knee will bow.
Speaker 2Every knee will bow, amen.
Speaker 3But he's going to liberate them. So then, that sets up the thousand-year rule of Christ.
Speaker 1I hate to pause there, but I had to think about the culmination of Christ, the first time coming in and then laying palm leaves down and then betraying him On a donkey. Yeah, on a donkey Lowly right coming in, but the next time he comes back his coronation is going to be completely opposite. Like he's going to be crowned. I hate to say the proper way, but the way we would expect him to be crowned yeah.
Speaker 3And every, even old Pontius, pilate, caiaphas and I, as the priest of the temple, condemned him and the people that drove nails at his hands. They're going to bow down and say Even Lucifer is going to say you are Lord. But what we fail to realize is that, as the church, when we come back with him, we fail to realize we are co-heirs with Jesus. We are the bride of Christ. That means we're going to be crowned too and we'll be given assignments. Some of us will be priests in the temple to be with Jesus. Some of us will be kings or queens upon the earth, and he will initiate a thousand-year rule of the restoration of Eden. It will be paradise all over again.
Speaker 3The plant life will be different. You plant something and somebody's coming from behind you reaping the produce. The animals won't devour one another, people won't make war against each other. They'll beat their weapons into plowshares and pruning hooks and peace will fill the earth. The government will be righteousness and justice, but he will rule with a fist of iron. He's not going to put up with a bunch of junk. Anybody starts something, wham, and for a thousand years of peace and prosperity. Fist of iron, he's not gonna put up with a bunch of junk, right? Anybody start something. Wham yeah. And for a thousand years of peace and prosperity the animals will get along with one another. They won't. There won't be any more carnivores, one eating one another. A child will play at the at the den of, it's called a cannibal.
Speaker 3But yeah, go ahead, yeah of deadly snakes yeah it will be a restoration and then the human beings that make it through the tribulation will repopulate the earth For a thousand years of peace and prosperity. It said peace will fill the planet. Back in my days, they used to sing what is it? The days of Aquarius, when peace will rule the planet? Well, it's going to happen, but it's going to be Jesus that does it Right.
Speaker 1Yeah, so for a thousand years. It's going to be awesome. It'll be heaven on earth.
Speaker 3A restoration of Eden. But the sad thing about this and we'll be ruling in rain with him, we'll have new bodies, we'll be in mortal.
Speaker 2I'm going to look good, you guys are broad shoulders. I bodies. We'll be in more. I'm gonna look good, you guys are broad shoulders. I'm gonna look like this guy be looking. He's excited about looking good, yeah, he is a human, a horse and a road. I mean, he's got it going on. Man, he's looking forward to that he's got this cinematic movie going where he's riding he's gonna get there and say where my horse at where my white horse, jesus, yeah ain't no man gonna hinder me? Come on somebody.
Speaker 3But the sad thing about it, after a thousand years of righteousness, no more wars, everybody's got a job. No more ghettos, no more hunger, no more child abuse, no more poverty, no more prejudiced heaven on earth. After a thousand years, you know Satan will be tied up for a thousand years. He can't run his mouth, but he'll be loose for a season. What does he do? Runs his mouth, just like he did in the Garden of Eden.
Speaker 3Why are you listening to God? He's trying to keep you from the good things. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And the human race that will repopulate the earth will be so stupid, it said. A worldwide army will rise up against Jesus and us, the bride of Christ. I believe we will be withdrawn from our nations. We're ruling over into Jerusalem and they will surround Jerusalem, thinking they can wipe out Jesus and the bride of Christ. And then God, the Father, says that's it. Fire falls down out of heaven and burns them up. And then the great white throne, judgment, comes, where every sinner, from the beginning of time to the end of time, is called before God and their decree is pronounced upon them cast into the lake of fire. And then God creates a new heaven and a new earth and said eyes not seen or ear heard what the Lord has prepared for them. That love him. Jesus has been working on it for 2,000 years.
Speaker 1Yeah, what did you say? The dimensions of it was.
Speaker 3When he creates the new heaven and new earth, I believe the earth will be set back up on its axis the way it was before the great flood. So there is the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven as a bride prepared for the bridegroom, and it's a beautiful city. The foundation stones are precious stones, I think, named after each one of the apostles. There are, what is it? Four gates made of pearl, or maybe 12 gates, because each one's named after each tribe of Israel. It'll come down out of heaven. It's 1,600 miles long, 1,600 miles wide and the walls or the height of the city is 1,600 miles high. And it'll come down and sit on the top of the earth. And it said it will glisten and God himself, the Father himself, will come and dwell with us. And it talks about there will be kings of the earth. Again, I tell you, we don't realize that we have a job for eternity. He's going to reward us, not just during the millennial reign, but for eternity, and he will dwell there with us, but for eternity. And he will dwell there with us. And Jesus said there will be no more sun, no more moon. His brightness will illuminate all of the new creation, and that's forever and ever and ever.
Approaching End Times Prophecy
Speaker 3You preached a sermon one time that I really loved you demonstrated, said a little string was this long said this is this life, and we pour all of our energy into this little string. But eternity is like this, it's forever. So wouldn't it make sense that we pour our priorities into the bigger string than to the little string? Right, that's my heart. Yeah, I want to give all I got for him. But, folks, we are so close to the end. I've lived 76 years, talked about this for many, many, many years, but I'm seeing it with my eyes. Russia, turkey and Iran are coming together, just like the prophecy of Ezekiel 38. The world is looking for a peacemaker because there's so much turmoil. Jesus is about to call us home. We got to get people on board the ark before the doors close.
Speaker 1Amen, that's it.
Speaker 3I like that song. Won't it be wonderful there, having no burden to bear.
Speaker 1Yeah, you get all excited. You're ready to run.
Speaker 3I've been trying to get the Lord to take me on, but he won't do it.
Speaker 1So I guess I'm going to live to see it. You got work to do.
Speaker 3That's right, you got work to do.
Speaker 1Yeah, hey, is there anything else I mean?
Speaker 3No, I think. I just want people to understand we're not in the last days, we're in the last hours. I believe it could be months before we're taken out. We are going to see the rise of the Antichrist.
Speaker 1Let me ask you this. I covered this with you a while back and I just kind of want to. I know it's probably a question some people will have is aren't they supposed to build a third temple?
Speaker 3Yeah, they're going to rebuild the third temple. I'm glad you brought that up. This uh war that took place on october the 7th a year ago. One of the leaders of hamas made the statement. The reason we did that. We know about the, the, the red heifer. Israel had just brought over five red heifers from Texas and they knew that they had arrived. They're not about to give up the Temple Mount. That's where what's his face.
Speaker 1We don't know where Iraq is now.
Speaker 3Went back into heaven, Muhammad, Muhammad, and they said we know that the Jews are about to rebuild the third temple. We've got to do something, they said. That's what precipitated that. Two of the red heifers are of age now and they are perfectly flawless. They've already got.
Speaker 3I saw the great candelabra in the Jewish quarter. It's already there. It's in a protective glass. The garments for the high priest have already been made. They already have a high priest. They already have a high priest. They already have a Sanhedrin. There's a synagogue underneath the temple mount. I was in there. They're already having temple worship underneath there and it's set up just like it talks about in the book of Zechariah.
Speaker 3But something is going to precipitate and I believe that's what's taking place now these Arabic nations that are trying to destroy Israel. She's going to wipe them out. It says she will possess her possessions, which is the Temple Mount. She will rebuild her temple, the Temple Mount Faithful, I believe, is the name of the group, or the group that's recreated the robes and everything else. They said we know where the Ark of the Covenant is and at the right time we're going to bring it out. And when they bring it out, nothing's going to stop them, but right now they have a high priest, They've already got the sacrificial altar, Everything is in place and ready for this thing to happen, and for three and a half years it's going to be great. They're going to have temple worship again until the Antichrist sets himself up as their king, Messiah and God, and they rebel.
Speaker 2Wow.
Speaker 1It's a lot to pack in.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah. And the Jews are already saying, the Orthodox Jews are saying our Messiah is already in the world.
Speaker 1I remember at one point they were posting around in the United States, around New York and stuff saying the Messiah is here.
Speaker 3Well, and they're flying flags in Jerusalem welcoming the Messiah back.
Speaker 1Yeah, this went a couple years ago, so they obviously think they know what's going on. So we'll see. We'll see what happens.
Speaker 3I'll tell you, the greatest thing that can happen for me is just to see him crowned.
Speaker 1Yeah, you'll be there on your horse, won't you?
Speaker 3They'll be like Mike you going to get off that horse, I'm just going to hang out up here for a while. I told the folks when I was in Jerusalem in 1980, I had a little piece of paper about this big. Of course I'm from West Virginia, we're just a little simple-minded folks, country folks. I wrote on there welcome back Jesus. And I folded it like this, went to the middle of the eastern gate and stuck it in.
Speaker 3Stuck away in there so that I could get it out. When that thing opens, that little thing going to fall out, jesus is going to pick it up and say Welcome back Jesus, your friend Mikey.
Speaker 1He said, mikey, I got it, mike King's spell. He spilled mine.
Speaker 2Mike, won't you get off that horse and give me?
Speaker 3a hug Riding around in circles Just to see him, and it says every knee will bow. We're going to bow our knee to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, amen.
Speaker 1It's something to look forward to, that's for sure.
Speaker 2It's like that old song that says I pray we'll all be ready for his return To walk in Jerusalem. Yeah.
Speaker 3Just like John, even old King David's going to be there. Yeah, he's going to be there.
Speaker 2Abraham's going to be there.
Speaker 3Isaac's going to be there. Moses is going to be there Meshedek. Jehoshaphat yeah, that's right. Elijah, yeah, but I believe the Antichrist is in the world right now and the two prophets of God are here. I believe it's about to see things take place.
Speaker 1Got to keep your eyes open. Yes, and keep working, because that's the problem.
Speaker 3That's it.
Blessing for the Future
Speaker 1We can't be so. I don't think, personally, we can be so conscious about, like I want to be found when the master returns, working. That's how I want to be found Winning souls, winning souls, yep, getting people on the boat, but anyway, are you good, seth? I'm good.
Speaker 1All right. Well, let's do like we normally do. Let's send the people off with a priestly blessing, from number 6, 24 through 26. Look, we encourage you to share, like, subscribe, all those good things. But the priesthood blessing says the lord bless you and keep you. The lord make his face shine upon you be gracious to you the lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
