Tim Throsby is the Former CEO of Barclays Bank Plc and President of Barclays International, whose extraordinary career has seen him hold leadership positions at some of the most prestigious financial institutions in the world. At Goldman Sachs, he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Derivatives for Asia. At Lehman Brothers, he was Managing Director and Head of Asia and Japan Equities Division, later relocating to New York to oversee its global equity derivatives business and risk arbitrage. Tim then became President of Citadel Asia, where he worked directly under legendary investor Ken Griffin, leading the investment firm’s expansion across the region. At JP Morgan, Tim served as Managing Director and Global Head of Equities and EMEA Equities, driving growth in one of the bank's most competitive divisions. Known for his unparalleled expertise in building high-performing teams, leading through financial crises, and navigating complex markets, Tim shares invaluable lessons from over three decades at the forefront of global finance.
