The Greg Heaney Music Podcast Show
My name is Greg Heaney, and I am a musician. On this podcast I host conversations surrounding music, neurodivergence, careers in the arts, the creative process, education, therapy, and much more. I believe music to be the universal language, and we could all use more music in our lives in order to heal and move forward.
The Greg Heaney Music Podcast Show is a place to discuss music, neurodivergence, and how they intersect!

Episode 15: Cora and Seamus Heaney
As a Father's Day present to my wonderful brother Mike Heaney, here is the officially published podcast that his kids Cora and Seamus recorded with me a few months ago. We even dive into a little childhood memory I have of learning to play guitar at the same time when my brother and I were young. Ahhh memories!
This conversation gets WILD and ping pongs around to hundreds of different topics. The kids and I talk music, creativity, Taylor Swift, neurodivergence, a need for more RECESS in school, and managing emotions, among other topics.
Cora Heaney is a dancer, a singer, and an all-around marvelous young lady. We do a quick song analysis of her favorite song to sing and also do a sing-a-long to the track, and talk about creativity. I think she's 11 years old or so by now ;-) Cora is not the biggest fan of school and I ask her why and get a very wise answer.
Seamus Heaney is 13 or something and he plays the flute. He's also quite a smart guy who loves school. My nephew and I love to play music together, particularly improvised tunes based around the B flat major scale. Seamus educates me on what it means to be the main character, as well as giving me a little window into life as a middle-schooler.
I sincerely hope you enjoy this conversation involving music that I had with my niece and nephew. It was so fun to do that we might even make it a series. I know for a fact that Cora wants to come back on SOON.
