At 55 I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I do have a few truths that I trust deeply, and I want to share this with you. These aren't theories. They're lessons shaped by time, leadership, loss, growth and life. And here are five of them. Truth Number one, my value is not based on other people's opinions. That one took me a long time to learn. Approval can be addictive, but it's also unstable. When you anchor your worth to what others think, you give away control you were never meant to lose. Truth Number two, no one is promised tomorrow, so make the most of today, especially when it comes to the people who matter most. Time is the one thing we never get back, and experience teaches you to stop postponing connection. Truth Number three, say yes to the things that scare or challenge you. Growth rarely shows up wearing a name tag. Sometimes it looks like discomfort, sometimes it feels like risk. But almost every meaningful step forward I've taken started with a little bit of fear. Truth Number four, never say no to a conversation. You never know what you might learn or what opportunity might come from simply being open conversations. Change perspectives. They change direction, and sometimes they change lives. And Truth Number five, clarity doesn't come from waiting. It comes from moving. You don't have to see the whole path to take the next step. Action creates clarity and experience reinforces confidence at this stage of life. I trust these truths because they've proven themselves over and over again. They guide how I lead, how I show up and how I choose what's next. Experience doesn't slow you down, it sharpens you. And Remember there's no speed limit on growth.
