Gossip runs rampant in this episode as the group begins to stir up trouble within our fictional English village by creating a number of salacious rumours and scandals. They also begin the first epistolary phase in which their characters have the chance to pour their hearts out onto parchment. Hannah and Marcus enact a scheme. Collette reveals somethings about her past. John and Marilyn's relationship faces it's biggest challenge yet.
