Episode 28: The Power Of A Story with Ashley Zahorian
Jesus was a storyteller. He understood our desire as humans to be carried away by words that inspired, words that made us ponder, and words that called us into action. This week I had the privilege of interviewing award winning film maker, Ashley Zahorian. Ashley reminded me of the beautiful and deeply rooted way that God invites us to share with one another.
I think sometimes we forget how intricate and perfect our own stories are. We shrug them off as less-than or discount them because they don’t seem as grand or magnificent as that of the fairy tale princesses we may have grown up with. We compare our stories to those of the saints and think, “Well, that’s great for them, but it’s not for me.”
