In this episode of Nutrition Pearls: the pediatric GI nutrition podcast, Jen Smith and Bailey Koch host dietitian Kim Braly.  Kim is a private practice, research dietitian who specializes in pediatric inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). She is the co-founder of EATS for IBD™ - an innovative,  evidence-based nutrition tool that supports those with IBD and their families through nourishing recipes, culinary resources, and community support. 

Kim empowers people with IBD to dump food fears, eat for their bodies and live their best life. 

She is the “How to IBD dietitian” who loves mentoring colleagues and consulting organizations to build transformative IBD nutrition programs which expand their offerings and better support their patients. During this episode Jen and Bailey discuss with Kim the role of nutrition in the treatment of IBD with an emphasis on SCD.
