In this episode, we talk to Gerhard Vosloo about his fascinating journey through academia and how it set up the opportunity to work for one of the most exciting manufacturers out there, who has weathered the motor industry storm, Rimac or as it's now known as a Bugatti-Rimac.

We tackle some of the challenges for someone wanting to start a life abroad, taking a risk and watching it pay off. We then go through his role at Rimac and the jobs he was responsible for, working with Mate Rimac, the corporate culture and the exciting prospects for this Pretoria export.

In part two of the chat, we dive into his time at Manthey Racing, the importance of driver/engineer communication and just how special the Nürbürgring is before closing off with his time judging at Formula Student, the ultimate gateway into F1.
