Rev. Chris Eden is the pastor of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Jason Burgess is the Media Specialist for OUMC. These two are happy to present to the congregation and beyond, something to engage the ears and hearts, as well as, mind, body, and spirit. This season will focus on an important mission: OUMC’s collaboration with various city and county organizations to build a much-needed low-barrier emergency shelter for individuals in our community experiencing homelessness. We will chronicle the journey of building this shelter from the ground up. Along the way, you’ll meet neighbors both with and without housing, as well as community leaders who are already working to care for unhoused individuals, providing resources and case management, and addressing the need for affordable housing.

Join us on this journey of compassion and commitment as we adapt our long-standing dedication to this community, now with a new shelter ministry in mind.
