Communion is a serious business: it is one of the highest expressions of Christian worship. Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with His disciples the night of His betrayal- the Passover meal reminded the Jews of their deliverance from slavery in Egypt (lamb that was slain, blood applied to door posts of homes, the death angel passes over homes.) 1 Corinthians 11:23-32
