The prescription for giving set forth by God is by proportion rather than a percentage and God wants us to give out of devotion rather than duty/obligation, because whatever we purpose to give, will never be a billionth of what God has given us. Friends, God has given us a pattern for our giving by His giving of an indescribable gift. The gift of His Son, so you and I might be saved. That is the surpassing, indescribable, most wonderful grace of God...AND... then He offers us this gift of salvation. A salvation that was purchased by the life of Jesus Christ dying a horrible death on a Roman cross. Have you received this gift yet? Have you gave life to Christ? God loves a cheerful giver.
