Cancer: The Emotional Mountain

What the HELL have you done?

Tami

Warning!  This is a personal, political episode.  Due to the ignorance of Americans, I'm standing up for Cancer!!

Speaker 1:

cancer, the emotional mountain, is making a little pivot in today's episode. We'll have more next week on the usual info and chat, but today I'm speaking on behalf of my fellow Americans who are in the throes of cancer and its research, because America has lost its mind and I just can't sit here and pretend it hasn't. It's not good for my health, nor for those of you who are fighting so hard to stay alive. So, folks, buckle up, buttercup. What the hell have you done? Welcome to a different kind of cancer the emotional mountain.

Speaker 1:

I've struggled with doing this for a couple of months, but a full mental breakdown and hopelessness has convinced me that, since it's my podcast, I can record and publish whatever I want. I'll warn you right now it's political. Yep, I'm speaking out about the corruption and destruction of our democracy. If you want some warm fuzzies about cancer care and fear, that's not this episode. I'm so angry, I've nearly killed myself. Let me start with this. I've nearly killed myself. Let me start with this. I'm embarrassed to be an American. I'm ashamed to know some of you. I've called you my friend for such a long time and you have failed, and I don't really know if I'll ever be able to sit and talk with you the way I used to sit and talk with you, the way I used to.

Speaker 1:

Number one you put a rapist in the White House. Women, I'm talking to you specifically A rapist. You walked into a private voting booth and checked. Rapist Number two you put a convicted felon in the White House. Convicted, not just indicted or accused, convicted, guilty on 34 counts. That's your guy. That's what you want running this country. Okay, that's what you did with your laziness and your selfish life. You didn't listen to what he was planning. You bought the lies. You wasted your time on earth listening to the lies, watching Fox News, buying it all, and you consciously ticked rapist slash felon. Number three this administration is killing and will continue to kill Americans. But you're exempt, right, it doesn't pertain to you Until it does. I've looked into the eyes of a father who is holding the hand of his daughter who was violently raped and left for dead. I've seen the tears of a woman who was forced to keep her mouth shut after an attack. I have personally had men grab and grope me like it's their right. It's disgusting. The women who voted for this soulless, moral, vacant man should be completely ashamed to even look at themselves in the mirror.

Speaker 1:

Number four January 6th, it was not a day of love, it was an insurrection. Your choice to bring him back is beyond ignorance. It's repulsive. You ignored the truth, you didn't pay attention and you are responsible for what is happening to our country today. You, if I had a dime, for every time I've heard I don't watch the news, I'm not really into politics For the love of God, this is your country, your home. Why is it more important to post pictures and videos on social media than wake up and see what's happening right before your eyes? You're lazy, self-absorbed and stupid. Number five aside from the security risks that have been happening, you ignored the fact that this narcissist didn't even want to be president. He just wanted to stay out of jail. So now you've got an immigrant high on ketamine, completely destroying everything my father, my grandfather and my great-grandfather fought for. You are so self-centered. Many of you are military brats. Your father devoted his life to this country and you are a waste of skin.

Speaker 1:

Number six I'm so sick of hearing people talk about how much they suffered over the last four years. What was so bad? Life-saving health care, reopening the economy from a global pandemic that killed millions because the orange clown said it was going to magically disappear. Job opportunities, increased Social Security, waking up without dread or embarrassment. I'd rather relive those four years than to go forward in the country that you voted for.

Speaker 1:

Number seven cancer research is on the line. 67% of the funds taken on just my type of cancer alone, not all cancer, just mine 67%. How much more has been taken? Pediatric research is being cut. People are going to die. I could die Thanks to your. I'm not into politics, you might think.

Speaker 1:

Why is she so angry? Why is this appropriate for this podcast? Why am I listening to this? Well, have you met me? If you haven't, let me give you a hint. I don't just sit by and let others steal cheat and lie to me. I'm that girl that speaks up. I'm that girl that has the audacity to tell you the truth out loud, and I don't give a shit. If you never listen to my podcast again, the people that are suffering will listen. I care about others. I care about something other than look at me. I'm at dinner with my friends, ignoring what's happening to innocent people. My last point, number eight I may be the one speaking out, but I've also been the one listening. I'm trolling and listening.

Speaker 1:

I follow you cult members, and let me tell you this country is broken. For example, just last summer I stood next to a friend that's air quotes who just called our president a moron, for no reason. He was on television doing his job. The volume wasn't even up. He's not talking to her, he's not talking to me, he's just on the news. And she practically shouted he's a moron. I was shocked, not because she's rude, but because she's a high school teacher Teaching your children.

Speaker 1:

Rudeness, cruel personal attacks at a total stranger to her Isn't that great that impressionable teens get that on a daily dose? I know what you're thinking. I'm sure she doesn't do that in the classroom. Well, how do we know that for a fact? There was absolutely no reason for her to say that in front of me, to the television. She had no filter, just a nasty air of entitlement or whatever she thinks she is. Your voices are being heard. You're following a creep who has made name-calling and bullying okay, even fun.

Speaker 1:

A few days ago she posted a little ditty on Instagram. Here I am, being a teacher, talking about mental health and self-esteem. The irony of all this is what makes me so furious. People can hear you, children can hear you, I can hear you, and she calls herself a Christian. Well, guess what? God can hear you.

Speaker 1:

Ah, you wanted a businessman in the White House. You got a six-time bankrupt idiot. Six-time bankrupt idiot who bankrupts a casino. Seriously, I've worked at a casino. The house wins almost every single time and when they don't, those fools sit there and give it back to the house. Who bankrupts a casino?

Speaker 1:

Cancer kills, research and science saves. You chose to kill, but I guess until it happens to you or someone you love, it's okay. It's all a waste of money anyway. People die, that's just the way it is. I'll tell you the way it is. The words you have cancer will change you forever and maybe then you'll quit navel gazing and give a shit about others. How about you take a quick stroll through a chemo infusion center, look into the eyes of those people fighting for their lives and tell me people die, that's just the way it is.

Speaker 1:

I pray you never get the call that you, your child or your grandchild have cancer. But, as they say, you do you, because I believe that for almost all of you, until it does happen to you, you'll continue to post happy birthday to my husband. I love you. By the way, don't y'all live in the same damn house. Walk down the hall and tell him Don't junk up my social media with your shallow concerns on how many friends like your post. Give me a thumbs up, because I don't give a shit. Yep, I could care less who's having a birthday at your house when so many are having their last.

Speaker 1:

Thanks to you checking the box Felon 47. So that's my rant. That's my honest truth. You can absorb it or completely ignore it, but either way it's out there For those of you who know me or follow me, or both. I'm fighting. You keep it up too. They aren't going to win this. We will. Thanks for listening. See you next time. Cancer the emotional mountain Cancer the Emotional Mountain is brought to you by Get a Grip Productions. My name is Tammy and I'm speaking out.
